I'm
going

share
a
presentation
with
you
to
stay
on
track,
and
hopefully
it
helps
for
you
all
to
follow
along
and
I'll
have
to
read
every
single
thing
on
here.
So
again,
I'm
christine
underhill
with
the
parks,
recreation,
library
and
golf
department,
and
I'm
here
to
present
the
2021
operational
capital
overview
as
well
as
answer
some
of
the
questions
you
had
hopefully
did
that
slide
at
ford,
for
you
guys
did
you
see
the
2020
versus
2021?
E
E
I
wanted
to
show
this.
This
is
probably
unprecedent
for
the
city
as
a
whole
over
the
years,
but
we
have
had
a
significant
revenue
loss
and
it's
nothing
to
brag
about
or
be
excited
for,
but
it's
all
due
to
coven
and
it's
something
to
watch
and
monitor
we're
about
1.2
million
dollars
short
this
year
and
that's
due
to
closures.
E
Pirates
cove.
We
were
lucky
enough
to
open
this
last
summer
and
allow
patrons
to
come
in
and
enjoy
the
park.
And
initially
we
thought
we'd
actually
have
a
much
more
significant
loss
than
what's
projected
based
off
the
variances
that
were
being
allowed,
but
we
were
able
to
bring
in
six
hundred
and
nine
thousand
dollars
in
revenue,
which
was
much
more
than
we
anticipated
we're
very
happy
that
we
were
able
to
do
that
this
summer
and
provide
a
great
amenity
to
our
residents
and
visitors
and
kind
of
a
fun
fact
about
pirates.
E
Cove
this
summer
we
had
literally
every
state
visit
pirates
cove,
except
for
maine
and
alaska.
I
believe
it
was
so
even
with
covid.
We
saw
travelers
coming
to
colorado
and
visiting
our
park
and
we
were
one
of
the
very
few
water
parks.
If
not
the
only
one
open
this
summer,
so
we
got
a
lot
of
attention,
hopefully
some
future
loyalty
to
the
park.
The
recreation
center
has
had
its
challenges.
We've
had
variances
throughout
the
whole
summer
of
how
many
people
we
can
allow
in
the
building.
We
have
not.

E
We're
hoping
2021
will
be
a
better
forecast
for
us
as
a
whole
and
we'll
see
some
new
memberships
come
in,
especially
as
vaccines
are
being
offered
and
we
covered
subsides,
and
we
can
reopen
fully
broken
teeth,
even
though
they're
in
the
red
right
now
we're
really
anticipating
they
actually
might
be
in
the
black
come
the
end
of
the
year.
We've
had
an
amazing
season.
E
We
were
closed
for
six
weeks
when
kobe
broke
out,
which
was
the
start
of
our
season
at
broken
tee
and
that
hurt
revenue
in
the
beginning,
but
we
had
a
killer
summer
with
pretty
much
being
sold
out
every
day
pretty
much
and
that
helped
us
bring
back
some
of
that
revenue.
So
we're
anticipating
we're
going
to
catch
up
and
and
have
a
very
low
revenue
loss
as
we
approach
the
end
of
the
year,
and
hopefully
we
won't
get
much
snow
in
november
and
december
and
the
weather
holds
out
for
us.

So
we
can
catch
up.
Ours
did
really
well.
Our
parks
were
heavily
used
this
summer
because
people
weren't
supposed
to
be
indoors
and
doing
normal
indoor
things
during
the
summer,
and
so
we
had
a
lot
of
reservations
out
there
as
well
as
field
rentals.
So
we
we
did
fairly
well
on
the
revenue
side
better
than
we
projected
for
2020.,
so
we
lost
some
and
and
gained
some
and
then
the
library
is
still
technically
not
fully
open.
A
lot
of
the
revenue
comes
from
fines
and
fees
for
overdue
books
or
printing
services.
E
What
have
it
they're
still
very
limited
open
to
the
public
for
computer
usage
and
so
and-
and
we
waived
fines
this
year,
all
through
the
summer,
just
to
help
people
out,
because
there
was
challenges
and
returning
books
and
checking
out
books
and
all
of
that
so
overall
it
wasn't
a
great
year
on
the
revenue
side.
But
given
covid's
situation,
we
tried
our
best
to
bring
in
what
we
could
for
the
year.
E
So
these
are
just
some
efficiencies
that
we're
going
to
continue
into
2021
and
hopefully,
that'll
help
save.
On
the
expenditure
side,
some
we
were
using
our
own
staff.
We
were
training
our
lifeguards,
not
only
to
be
lifeguards,
but
then
they
were
also
being
trained
on
the
cl,
how
to
clean
and
clean
efficiently
at
pirate's
cove
and
at
the
rec
center,
and
so
like
pirates
club.
E
So
our
front
desk
staff,
the
concessions
we
reduced,
staffing
there
to
save
some
money.
We
are
changing
the
birthday
party
format.
We
didn't
have
any
birthday
parties
this
year
due
to
covid.
It
didn't
make
any
sense.
We
just
were
trying
to
get
people
into
the
facility,
but
moving
forward
instead
of
having
staff
catering
entertaining
the
party,
we're
just
gonna,
give
them
a
large
space
for
them
to
host
their
party
and
have
fun
we'll
probably
still
provide
a
cake
and
do
some
things
of
that
nature.
E
But
it's
costly
to
have
two
staff
catering,
a
party
when
it
may
not
be
as
needed
so
at
the
rec
center
and
at
maui.
The
way
we
interact
with
guests
has
changed.
You
know
we're
trying
to
find
different
ways
to
provide
programs
and
one
good
example
of
this.
Is
our
group
swim
lessons
because
of
variances
and
people
having
a
social
distance?
E
We
changed
it
to
offer
more
private
swim
lessons
which
actually
generated
more
revenue
versus
the
group
swim
lessons.
So
that
was
one
way
and
just
still
trying
to
provide
that
customer
service
that
one-on-one
with
instructors
where
we
could
and
remain
safe
too
we
streamlined
staff
workload.
We
knew
our
frontline
staff,
who
are
primarily
part-time
staff.
E
So
our
front
line
staff
were
more
the
senior
level
full-time
staff
there
and
that
helped
us
with
some
of
the
savings
as
far
as
utility
and
energy
savings,
our
facilities
were
closed
for
a
time
being
this
last
spring,
and
so
we
turned
off
the
heaters
to
the
pools
we
didn't
need
to
have
those
running
while
nobody
was
using
them.
Reduce
the
hvac
system
by
you
know
not
cooling
the
facility
and
overall,
we
had
some
electric
savings
from
doing
that.
We
also
developed
virtual
programming.
E
E
We
will
be
obtaining
a
park
ranger,
who
will
actually
be
in
the
the
police
department
side
of
things
and
offering
their
services
to
keep
our
parks
safe
and
and
people
following
the
rules
and
then
golf
we
had
a
payment
process
paying
advance
of
play.
It
sped
up
people
checking
in
so
we
could
get
people
out
on
the
course.
We
didn't
have
a
whole
line
of
people
waiting
to
to
get
checked
in
and
paid
so
they
had
to
pay
in
advance.
E
We
adjusted
tee
times
to
be
more
spread
out
during
covid,
so
foursomes
weren't
on
top
of
each
other.
A
lot
of
people
love
that
less
complaints
throughout
the
year
and
then
maintained
on-site
staff.
Even
when
we
were
closed,
we
were
allowing
people
to
utilize
the
course
to
go,
walking
or
running
no
play
was
allowed,
but
we
kept
it
open
and
we
kept
staff
on
site
both
in
the
maintenance
piece
and
on
the
operations
side.
So
it
was
a
good
service.
We
were
able
to
offer
from
the
library
side.
E
We
tried
to
save
a
lot
of
money
and
we
we
did
a
good
job
on
that
by
not
filling
positions
for
part-timers.
We
were
already
reduced
service
levels
as
it
was.
There
was
no
point
in
hiring
anybody.
This
month
we
finally
have
filled
those
positions
in
anticipation
of
reopening
and
then
covered
spiked
again,
so
we're
dialing
things
back,
but
at
least
those
positions
are
filled,
but
that
was
a
one-time
cost
savings.
If
people
took
vacation,
we
didn't
fill
those
time
slots
for
them.
We
just
covered
it
with
the
staff
that
we
had.
E
So
if
you're
a
fan
of
the
library
and
follow
us
on
facebook,
you'll
see
we
do
a
ton
of
virtual
story
times
and
craft
projects
and
science
projects
and
different
things,
and
so
that's
we've
tried
to
stay
connected
to
the
community
and
offer
programs,
while
we've
we've
been
closed
or
limited
services
through
this
year.
These
are
some
priorities
and
initiatives.
We
actually
have
one
I'll
talk
about
on
the
capital
side
that
was
recently
added
in,
but
the
broken
tee
irrigation
system
is
30
plus
years
old.
E
We're
gonna
get
that
designed
this
year,
so
we
can
be
ready
to
invest
when
it
comes
time
to
implement
a
new
system
still
working
on
strategies
to
increase
participation
and
engagement
in
the
community.
That's
really
big
for
the
viability
of
our
parks,
recreation,
libraries
and
what
we
do
on
a
daily
basis.

The
library
has
invested
some
of
the
funds
from
this
year
to
create
a
team
space
and,
actually,
surprisingly,
throughout
covid.
Our
team
program
has
skyrocketed.
We've
had
a
lot
of
participants
in
the
teen
program,
and
so
we
want
to
continue
that
into
2021
in
both
library
and
on
the
recreation
side
and
then
increased
remote
and
virtual
offerings
again
like
I
said
this
isn't
going
to
change
it's
not
going
away
anytime
soon
and
we'll
continue
to
offer
those
virtual
programs
to
our
community.

So
we
did
request
one
full-time
position.
This
originally
started
in
the
parks
division
as
a
need,
but
we
learned
that
the
parks
don't
have
the
authority
to
write
citations
or
so
forth.
So
it
made
sense
to
move
it
over
to
code
and
they've.
Had
the
most
experience
in
in
dealing
with
a
lot
of
the
park,
issues
that
we've
had
over
the
years
and
so
the
park
ranger
will
be
housed
out
of
code
enforcement.
It
was
moved
to
the
police
budget.
A

I
think
maintenance
community
is
the
first
one
with
the
little
houses,
and
so
we
were
tasked
with
you
know
developing
what
what
the
request
would
fall
under
so
for
the
park
ranger,
it
was,
you
know,
addressing
community
needs
and
safety
in
our
parks.
So
that's
why
you
see
the
35
and
65
percent
on
there.
E

Yeah,
if
I
can
add
to
that
it
also
it's
actually
based
on
the
strategic
plan.
So
when
council
created
the
new
strategic
plan,
starting
with
division
retreat
back
in
january,
and
then
we
staff
put
the
their
vision
into
categories
and
they
were
similar,
they
were
exactly
what
christina
said.
It
was
actually
neighborhoods,
but
communities
close
enough,
but
I
think
she
got
all
the
rest
of
those
right.
So
yeah
we're
really
just
trying
to
tie
our
strategic
plan
to
our
budget
process.
E
Okay,
I
restarted
it
to
see
if
everybody
can
see
this
while
we
were
talking
so
the
next
one
is
program,
service,
level
change
and
the
first
two
are
items
we
asked
for
annually
to
address
down
on
broadway
to
beautify
broadway
and
make
it
an
attractive
area.
Even
through
covid,
we
received
some
funding
to
add
additional
lighting
down
there
since
we're
moving
outside
all
the
restaurants
are
moving
they're,
dining
outside.
E
So
there's
broadway,
we'll
add
some
more
in
here
in
the
near
future
for
more
holiday
lights.
The
flower
pots
are
addressed
through
this.
The
third
one
is
library
now
oversees
the
mail
services.
So
all
the
incoming
and
outgoing
mail
is
out
of
the
library
division,
so
we
had
that
transferred
from
it
over
the
museum
of
outdoor
art,
contract
myself
and
mark
mullis
from
the
library
oversee
that,
but
the
money
actually
comes
out
of
city
council's
budget,
so
this
year
for
2021,
it's
going
to
be
24,
000
and
the
next
following
years.

And
then
we
had
a
compensation
study
done
and
that's
the
amount
that's
going
to
be
added
to
our
budget
for
bringing
people
up
to
mid-range
or
out
of
the
minimum
wage
range.
We
had
quite
a
few
staff
at
the
12
or
less
hour,
and
I
believe
it's
moved
to
12
35
this
this
year
for
minimum
wage
or
2021.
So
we're
bringing
everybody
up
to
meet
that
and
then
employee
education
and
professional
developments
on
here
too.
So
that's
all
included
in
the
2021
budget.

We
do
have
one
fee
change.
We
decided
not
to
touch
anything
on
the
recreation
and
library
side
for
fees
or
even
over
at
pirates
cove
in
the
aquatics
division,
we're
keeping
everything
the
same
for
2021.
We
don't
anticipate
2021
being
too
much
different
from
2020,
with
covid
rolling,
in
probably
for
the
first
few
months
there,
if
not
longer
but
golf
has
not
increased
our
fees.

I
believe,
since
2016,
and
so
we're
anticipating
with
the
the
fee
increase
of
five
percent
of
bringing
an
additional
revenue
of
85
400
and
really
it
came
down
to
one
to
two
dollar
increases,
so
it
wasn't
significant.
I
don't
think
anybody's
gonna
even
really
notice
it.
So
I
give
a
few
examples
here.
Like
cart.
Rental
for
two
riders
is
going
from
32
dollars
to
34..

Our
par
3
round
is
going
from
11
to
12,
and
our
18
whole
weekend
round
is
37
to
39..
It's
bringing
us
up
a
little
bit
closer
to
the
surrounding
municipal
golf
courses
in
the
area
and
what
they
charge
so
we're
still
under
you
know
some
of
the
denver
course
fees
and
everything
else.
We're
trying
to
stay
relevant
keep
our
course
extremely
busy
throughout
the
year.

And
this
is
our
golf
course:
enterprise
funds
we're
only
increasing
the
estimated
cost
adjustment
for
9000
in
2021
we're
trying
to
stay
kind
of
on
par.
You
know
pun
intended
with
previous
years,
and
we
had
a
savings
from
a
retired
golf
superintendent,
that's
about
45
thousand
dollars,
so
we're
planning
on
staying
the
course.
We
did
promote
one
of
our
employees
to
the
golf
operations,
superintendent
and
she's,
actually,
a
supervisor
versus
superintendent,
and
so
we've
hired
a
new
staff
member
who
filled
a
vacancy
in
our
golf
maintenance
site.

Projects
for
2021
and
where
we
have
funding
to
do
some
work.
We
try
to
spread
out
the
funding
year
after
year
to
have
some
funds
to
cover
need
the
the
bellevue
trade
park.
Maintenance
is
one
that
we
annually
inspect
the
track,
make
sure
it's
in
working
condition
in
good
conditions.
We
need
some
funding
in
there
fitness
equipment
we
have
to
replace
annually,
not
all
of
it
just
some
of
it
as
it
ages
out
pirates
cove
we're
actually
doing
some
maintenance
over
there.

E
We'd
like
to
have
this
grant
matching
and
I'll
talk
about
our
next
capital
fund
that
we're
going
to
be
using
in
2021,
and
we
are
going
to
try
to
go
after
some
grants.
So
this
grant
matching
is
going
to
be
extremely
important
to
have
that
there.
So
we
can
hopefully
get
some
more
funding
to
do
some
more
with
our
parks
as
we
renovate
some
of
them,
and
then
we
have
the
public
improvement
fund
that
was
not
approved
to
move
forward
with.

We
know
that's
picking
up
in
the
area
and
we're
seeing
emerald
ash
and
surrounding
communities,
and
so
the
parks
division
has
already
plotted
all
of
our
ash
trees
and
identified
ones
that
need
to
be
removed
and
started,
treating
some
that
we
think
might
be
high
risk
and
that
will
continue
year
after
year
to
hopefully
save
a
lot
of
ash
trees
throughout
our
park
system,
and
we
have
two
on
here
for
the
golf
course
too
annual
golf
cart
replacement.
I
think
we
replace
15
cards
annually,
12
or
15
cards,
and
only
it's
in
a
rotational
basis.

Okay,
okay,
so
this
is
exciting
so
towards
the
end
of
the
budget
process.
Council
approved
to
use
three
million
dollars
to
from
the
unassigned
fund
balance
to
upgrade
some
of
our
parks,
which
is
extremely
exciting
because
we're
in
a
desperate
need
to
replace
playgrounds
and
picnic
shelters,
and
we
haven't
had
the
funding
to
do
so
just
yet.
So
these
are
the
parks
we're
going
to
be
addressing
I'll
go
through
each
one.
So
you
know
what
we're
going
to
be
doing
park
and
it's
on
the
north
side
of
town.
E
We
have
six
hundred
thousand
dollars
for
improvements.
We're
gonna
actually
relocate
the
picnic
shelter.
So
it's
not
hidden
back
behind
the
restroom
facility.
It's
more
visible
from
the
street
side
install
a
brand
new
playground,
which
is
always
an
exciting
project
to
work
on
and
replace
the
restroom
or
renovate
the
restroom.
We're
going
to
go
out
to
bid
here
shortly
and
see
what
we
can
pull
off,
whether
it's
renovating
or
ripping
out
putting
a
new
one
in
we'll
have
to
see
what
the
bids
come
in
at.

We
have
not
done
any
improvements
to
this
park
since
2006.
So
it's
it's
time
to
do
some
fun
upgrades
to
the
park
and
per
the
master
plan.
We
believe
that
the
total
renovation
cost
could
be
up
to
1.2
million
dollars,
so
this
is
going
to
put
a
nice
dent
in
this
park
and
do
some
nice
things
for
the
community
on
the
north
side.

Centennial
park
is
a
giant
park.
It's
got
a
lot
of
space.
There's
large
need
for
renovation,
estimated
from
the
master
plan,
8.5
million
dollars
in
renovations.
If
we
were
to
do
it
all
at
once,
but
we
have
allocated
560
000
for
improvements,
so
upgrading
the
basketball
court
replacing
the
most
vintage
playground
in
our
system.
If
you
bend
a
centennial
it
is,
it
will
take
you
back
to
your
childhood.
These
are
very
old
pieces
of
equipment
and
I
think
the
community
around
centennial
and
throughout
englewood
will
love
a
new
playground
there.

So
we're
going
to
be
addressing
that
and
then
a
new
picnic
shelter
as
well
cushing
park.
This
is
a
conceptual
plan
that
has
been
done
for
the
park
and
what
we're
going
to
be
addressing
at
the
park
is,
if
you've
been
by
there.
You
know
we
have
a
skate
park,
it's
got
old
metal
elements
to
it,
it's
very
outdated,
it's
a
little
unsafe,
and
so
the
goal
is
to
relocate
the
skate
park
into
the
middle
area
of
the
park
on
long
inca
street.
So
it's
more
visible.
E
We
know
police
has
given
their
comments
on
this
and
they
agree.
It'd
be
nice
to
have
the
skate
park
where
it's
it's
visible
off
the
main
street.
We're
going
to
do
a
parking
lot
improvements
as
well
as
an
ingress
and
egress
out
of
the
park
on
the
inca.
It's
right
now
to
access
the
parking
lot.
You
have
to
drive
through
the
neighborhood
so
really
relocating
the
skate
park,
improvements
to
the
parking
lot
and
then
also
improving
the
picnic
shelter
there
as
well
and
estimated
cost
to
do
this
full
renovation.

What
you
see
right
here
is
between
five
and
six
million
dollars.
So
again,
I
think
the
skate
park's
heavily
used.
It's
going
to
be
a
nice
feature
to
update
and
and
renovate
for
that
community
and
then
irrigation
improvements,
not
as
sexy
as
the
other
elements,
but
we
have
350
000
to
knock
out
a
few
things.
So
baker
park,
which
we're
doing
renovations
to
already
we've
got
a
new
irrigation
system.

There
rotolo
park,
we'll
get
a
new
irrigation
system
and
then
inglewood
parkway
medians
will
also
be
getting
new
irrigation
systems
where
they
can
work
and
we
can
sustain
plants
in
those
medians.
Currently,
it's
not
working,
and
then
I
will
the
next
slide
after
this
is
actually
that
picture
in
the
corner.
But
I'll
go
over
this
quickly.
What's
exciting
about
little
dry,
creek
is
mile
high
flood
district
had
1.1
million
dollars
in
matching
funds.
We
did
not
have
the
funding
initially
to
complete
this
project
and
match
that
initially
we
had
360
000.
E
So
some
of
the
improvements
are
design
and
construction
of
the
channel
installation
of
safety,
grates
landscape
improvements,
concrete
removing
that
old,
concrete
pond.
That
was
there.
It
hasn't
been
used
the
dam
failed
years
ago
and
just
kind
of
sits
a
new
trail
to
connect
to
nearby
downtown
broadway.
E
All
the
restaurants
and
stores
there
a
stairwell
way
going
down
into
the
creek
from
the
plaza,
which
I
think
will
be
heavily
used
when
eventually
phase
two
comes
on
board
and
we're
able
to
renovate
more
and
then
let
me
show
you
the
picture
so
in
this
there's
a
white
line
that
goes
around
the
area
here
that
everything
in
it
is
the
goal
that
will
be.
You
know,
fixing
the
landscaping
improving
the
channel,
adding
the
little
stairwell
and
the
pathway
to
get
to
broadway.

So
the
question
was,
you
know
what
programs
produce
the
most
financial
strain
to
our
departments.
Special
events
is
number
one.
We
try
to
get
sponsorships
to
balance
out
the
costs
and
it's
a
challenge
to
always
fund
the
events
to
the
capacity
and
the
level
that
we
want
to
it's
a
big
strain
on
staff
resources,
but
we
know
it's
important
for
the
community.
Recently,
the
cultural
arts
commission
did
a
survey
about
what
inglewood
residents
want
to
see,
not
only
in
the
arts
side,
but
on
the
cultural
side.
E
With
events
and
many
times
it
was
brought
up
about
the
block
party
and
connecting
with
the
community,
and
they
wanted
to
see
more
and
more
events,
which
I
definitely
don't
disagree
with.
But
funding
is
always
a
challenge
for
that
make
sure
you
have
enough
funds
to
put
on
high
quality
events
that
you
can
do
year
after
year
that
people
will
be
excited
for
and
also
keeping
the
events
free
as
possible
is
also
a
goal.
I
know,
council
has
appreciated
that
in
the
past.
E
Sometimes
charging
for
events
can
put
constraints
on
your
community
members
and
they
can't
attend
this
year.
We
were
able
to
put
on
three
different
movie
nights,
a
truck
or
treat
event,
and
we
have
our
fingers
crossed.
We
can
now
put
on
the
holiday
express
event
which
is
a
charged
event,
but
I
think
between
he
desperately,
wants
and
needs
these
events
to
celebrate
the
holidays
and
kind
of
push
coconut
aside.

We've
talked
deeply
about
this
last
year
in
needing
services
for
child
watch
with
kids,
you
know
out
of
school
and
having
to
take
do
schooling
from
home
parents.
You
know
having
to
be
at
work
or
so
be
it,
and
so
that
was
something
the
recreation
staff
has
thought
long
and
hard
about,
and
if,
if
we
had
finances
to
bring
that
back,
we
would
because
we
think

be
able
to
predict
and

use
preventative
maintenance.

can
have
functioning
everything

our
fitness
equipment
to
our
pools
to
your
splash
pads
irrigation,
you
name
it,
but
it's
very
costly
and
it's
always
plain
ketchup
at
this
point
and
then
the
last
one's
a
big
one.

is
more
prevalent,
probably
this
year's
past,
but
we've
seen
an
increase
in
homelessness
and
our
parks
division
has
had
to
respond
to
that,
whether
it
be
in
our
parks
or
in
different
areas
of
the
city,
we've
been
called
on
to
help
mitigate
some
of
the
homeless
issues.

if
we
have
that
increasing
the
hours
and
and
cleaning
was
another
big
topic
that
came
up
is
if
we
could
pay
our
employees
a
little
bit
more
and
you
know,
have
staff
on
board
to
focus
on
cleaning
in
the
perception,
and
that
was
the
biggest
comment
from
pirate's
coach
that
I
got
not
only
from
staff
within
inglewood,
but
visitors
that
came
that
called
or
emailed
and
said
we're
so
impressed
with
how
clean
your
facility
was.
Thank

for
doing
that,
especially
with
coke.

But
I
think
everybody
feels
a
little
itchy
with
cobit
and
you
know
you're
trying
to
stay
clean
and
everything.
So
it's
a
perception
of
cleanliness
and
and
paying
staff
more
to
do.
That
would
be
ideal,
like
I
said,
we're
kind
of
a
minimum
wage.
You
look
at
private
industry
and
they're
paying
15
and
up
and
we're
at
the
12
35
range
and
up
for
2021.

Our
staff
are
working
on,
we
have
a
location
at
mali
and
then
also
the
library
has
been
doing
a
lot
of
research
and
talking
to
littleton
and
some
other
agencies
about
offering
licensed
clinical
social
worker
to
be
on
staff
or
present
in
our
facilities.
So
for
mali,
it's
our
senior
population
and
ensuring
we're
providing
services
outside
the
regular
recreation
world
for
those
seniors
to
get
services
that
they
can
hopefully
better
their
quality
of
life
because
of
a
social
worker,
helping
them
to
obtain
something
that
they
couldn't
do
on
their
own.

And
then
we
also
in
our
library
experience
when
we're
fully
open
homelessness
and
people
who
are
in
need
that
come
into
the
library
for
free
services
to
use
a
computer
to
look
for
a
job
or
housing
or
whatever
it
may
be,
and
so
having
a
social
worker.
On
site
that
can
provide
services
and
help
these
people
find
what
they're
needing,
we
think
is
a
really
big
need,
and
I
think
it's
going
to
grow
over
the
years
you
know,
unemployment
is,
is
reaching
its
heights
right
now
with
covid
and
job
loss.

So
we're
anticipating
this,
a
social
worker
will
be
needed
for
years
to
come.
Enhancing
the
customer's
experience,
it's
not
cheap
to
do
virtual
programs,
but
we
know
it's
needed
and
we
want
to
continue
growing
our
programs,
expanding
the
programs,
both
virtually
in
person
and
keeping
relevant
to
our
community,
hiring
great
instructors
that
people
will
look
forward
to
seeing
and
want
to
sign
up
for
those
classes.

talked
a
little
bit
in
the
last
site
about
the
repairs
and
maintenance
of
facilities
and
equipment
and
being
preventative
versus
reactive
to
maintenance
needs
throughout
the
system.
It's
always
more
costly
when
you're
reactive
versus
on

preventative
side.
So
we're
cognizant
of
that
and
then
partnership
with
local
nonprofits
to
provide
ready-to-work
services
for
homeless
population.

had
quite
a
few
conversations
with
the
bridge
house
out
of
boulder
and
they
have
some
really
great
services.
We
just
don't
have
the
funding
in
our
budget
to
cover
their
costs,
to
offer
some
of
these
services,
where
they're
trying
to
get
people
back
in
jobs
and
the
experience
that
they'll
need
to
obtain
something
full-time
down
the
road
and
it's
something
we
really
want
to
do.

really
contribute

know
me

many
of
my
neighbors
feel
was
a
great
quality
of
life
and
a
hard
summer,
and
so
I
really
appreciate

so
intentional

coming

park
improvements
for
the
next

thinking

some
special
events
through
the
recreation
like
holiday,
express

movie
nights
and
different
things,

we're
inheriting

events
coordinator

we've
had

lot

conversations
with

unknowns

kovid

goal

offer
similar
programs
like
the
movie
movie
nights,
drive-ins,
socially
distance
type
events,
and
if
povid
continues
with
restrictions
in
place.
So
we
would
love
to
bring
everything
back
as
we
have
had
in
years
past,

I

instructed
staff
to
plan
to
that
nature.

if
everything
lifts-
and
we
can
go
back

we
once
believed
was
normal-
we'll

able
to
do
that,
but
bringing
tony
our
events
coordinator
over.
She
has
a
great
connection
with
the
businesses
in
inglewood
and
a
lot
of
our
residents,
and
so
the
goal
is
to
continue
to
seek
sponsorships
and
we
have
heard
from
many
businesses
they
do
want
to
sponsor.
They
want
to
participate
in
the
events
which
is
very
hopeful
for
revenue
generating
to
be
able
to
cover
some
of
the
expenses.

have
seen
in
years
past
and
loved
to
a
normal
status,
but
those
are
going
to
literally
have
to
be
addressed
probably
week
by
week
month
by
month,
as
we
get
through
covid
and
know
where
the
restrictions
get
lifted
so
like

holiday
express

a
great
example.
Staff
have
been
gung-ho
and
100
in
on
planning
that
event
to
make
sure
it
happens
and
we're
waiting
for
tri-county
health
to
respond
to
our
most
recent
adjustment
and
numbers.

event
was
supposed
to
be
90
people
every
hour
we
would
could
allow
in
it
dropped
down
to
75.
So
we
had
to
resubmit
it's
quite
possible
and
they
were
going
into
red
status.
They
could
put
the
stop
on

event.

won't

able
to
have
it
this
year,
which
is
going
to
be
a
huge
disappointment,
but
it's
what
we're
dealing
with
and
we
have
to
be
safe.

it's
kind
of
learn
as
we.

hours

to
eight,

added
hours
on
both

event
to
hopefully
accommodate

an

in
ticket

at
extending

events

department

dollars

how

get

message
across

parks

interested
in
are
directly
related
to
that
as
well,
both
with
social
worker,

is

really
interesting
idea
and
partnerships
with
nonprofits,
which
I
also
think
any
kind

like
collaboration.

public
private
partnerships
make
a
lot
of
sense
and
are
really
interesting.

this
point,
it's
preliminary

mean
we
have
had
discussions
with
bridge
house
and
they
have
sent
us
figures
over
for
what
the
cost
of
the
program
would
be
if
we
were
to
implement
it.
Part
of
our
challenge
is
our
seasonal
budget
for
parks.
Workers
would
have
to
cover
that,
and
it's
it's
a
little
bit
more
than
what
we
would
pay
our
seasonal
park
worker
like
we
pay
them.
I
think
12.50
and
the
program
itself
is
17.50,
but
that's
not
what
the
individual
is
going
to
get
that's
covering
the
whole
program
from
the
administration
side.

they
cover
the
hr
piece
of
those
workers
coming
into
your
city,
and
so
it's
a
great
opportunity,
and
I
think
it's
definitely
something
we'll
want
to
pursue
down
the
road,
because
it's
again
it's
to
me,
it's

way
to
address
homelessness.
These
people
are
wanting
to
get
off
the
streets
get
into.

lot
of
loss
of
jobs
recently
and

people,

want

be
able

help
that.

that's
where

social
worker
comes
in.
That's
where
partnering
with
nonprofits,
to
offer
more

residents

homeless

experiencing
homelessness
and
give
them
a
chance
to
get
out
of.

not

be

want
to
enforce
the
rules
and

people
to

the
rangers

at
noon
every
single
day
and
they
rotate

have
them
reporting
to
different
parks
throughout
the
day
and
not
the
same
each
day

day
out
and

the
education
the
ranger
is
going
to
do

big
