hit

cases

look
at
expired
plates
and
stuff
right
now.
We're
issuing
more
warnings
just
because
the
department
of
revenue,
if
it's
within
the
last
three
months,
it's
still
not
operating
to
the
full
function,
to
allow
for
proper
registration,
but
we
are
seeing
an
increase
in
parking
associated
with
rvs.

way
we
classify

is

codes

on

are
guidelines
that

or
notices
to
gain
voluntary
compliance.

will
typically
skip
the
notice

violation
if
this
is
a
repeat
habitual

and
we

would

nuisance

articulate

ongoing
concern
of
non-compliance
at
a
property
and

we're
unable
to
gain
that
compliance,
then
we
move
that
forward
to
summon

it

ongoing
problem
within
the
city

inglewood,

nuisance
abatement
theme.

is
a
multi-um
organizational
theme

within

city

does
include

city
attorney's
office,

prosecutor's

in

municipal
court

dogs
with
charges,

of
vaccination
to
running
at
large,
dangerous
behavior,
prohibited
tag

collar
cruelty
and
neglect
number
of
animals
and
at
risk
behavior.

gathered
the
witness

testify

person
told

the

the
victim

the
witnesses
would

need
to
testify
in
order

support
that
criminal
charge.

going.
There
are
things
that
take
place
within
our
criminal
justice
system,
regardless
of
what
the
charges
that
take
place,
leading
up
to

trial
and
most
cases-
and
I
don't
know

statistic-
but
I'm
it's
very
high
in
the
high
90s-
never
make
it
trial
because
there's
compliance
that
is
gathered,
there
are
plea
bargains
that
are
arranged.

it's

sometimes
we're
bringing
up

instances,

the
proper
procedure

like

I've

brought
up

specific
instance,

the
reason

did
is
because
I
know
we

agenda
to
address

dangerous
dog
code

way,
it's
structured
that
are
making
it
difficult
for
someone
who
got
bit
to
you
know
be
able
to
have
an
outcome
of
that
dog
becoming
a
dangerous
dog.

I
think
it
is
worth
our
consideration.

interest

we've
spent
some
time

little
bit

time
with

colleen
moore

quite
a
bit
of
research,
and
what
we
found
was
that
the
code
for
dangerous
dog
you
know
is
pretty
solid.
We
just
haven't

lot
of
the
tactics
that
are
supposed
to
be
used.
For
example,
the
dog
is
supposed
to
be
identified
in
a
very
obvious
way
that
they're
a
dangerous
dog,
and
so
we
we
came
up
with
some
solutions
on
in
terms
of
callers.

not
only
do
we
need
to
protect
the
rights
of
the
victim,
we
also
are
bound
to
protect
the
right
of
a
subject,
and
this
goes
for
all
criminal
charges
that
move
forward,
and
it's
important
to
note
that
all
code
violations
in

city
of
inglewood
are
municipal
criminal
violations.
We
do
not
have
administrative
violations
in
the
city
of
inglewood,
which
is
why
people
become
somewhat
frustrated
because
the
process
does
go
through
the
court
systems
if
needed,
and
it's
the
long
process
at
times.

too,
the
the
code
really
doesn't
help
a
dog
that
had
not
been
previously
identified
as
dangerous.
So
in
this
case
that
you're,
referring
to,

don't
think
the
dog
had
been
identified

being
addressed,
I'm
hoping,
but
so
the
code
really
only
helps
after
it's
been
identified
as
dangerous
versus
before.

have

updated

recently
updated

enabling
legislation
