Our
inspiration
as
a
team
we
decided
to
take
on
the
task
of
creating
a
mural
inspired
by
the
new
york
artist.
Keith
herring.
His
art
style
is
simplistic
and
cartoony,
but
also
conveys
a
specific
theme
or
commentary.
While
we
brainstormed,
we
decided
that
we
would
take
on
the
project
inspired
by
him
and
his
art.

The
theme
of
our
project-
keith
herring's,
brightly
colored
figures,
spark
joy
in
those
who
see
them
and
right
now,
with
the
way
things
are
going
in
the
world,
some
people
may
need
a
little
extra
joy
in
their
lives.
We've
decided
to
go
with
the
overall
theme
of
unity.
Not
only
does
this
theme
work
well
because
of
everything
that
is
happening
in
the
world
right
now,
but
it
also
shows
how
people
need
to
come
together.

Added
reasoning:
behind
the
theme,
with
the
theme
of
unity
in
mind,
we
decided
to
add
characters
of
different
colors
sizes
and
levels
of
ability,
while
still
incorporating
the
fact
that
it
will
be
done
at
a
skate
park.
We
also
added
bits
from
nature
such
as
flowers
purse
such
as
a
flower
person
with
the
bee
and
the
hummingbird
feeding
from
it.
Lastly,
from
for
the
small
ramp,
we
added
a
monarch
caterpillar,
which
was
turned
into
a
butterfly
on
the
larger
ramp.

There's
a
lot
to
be
said
for
spontaneity
brie
and
she
she
really
worked
hard
to
incorporate
everybody
in
the
class
everybody's
ideas,
because
everybody
has
sort
of
different
ideas.
But
we
had
several
suggestions
from
lindsay
from
englewood
park
and
wreck
like
she
she's
just
so
open,
and
she
just
said
you
know.
Maybe
we
could
add
in
something
about
sustainability,
since
the
skateboard
park
is
so
close
to
the
little
dry
creek
project,
that's
going
on
with
moa
and
the
other
art
programs
in
the
district.

school
ends
the
27th
of
may
so
we're
really
in
a
crunch.
Okay,
we
were.
We
were
originally
supposed
to
work
with
the
other,
the
other
teams
on
the
little
dry
creek
project,
but
that
didn't
really
work
out
very
well,
because
the
timeline,
the
way
it
worked
was
my
class
didn't
start
until
after
it
had
to
be.
The
designs
had
to
be
presented
to
you,
so
my
kids
didn't
even
get
a
chance
to.

weren't.

I
just
said
you
know
what
this
and
you
don't
even
need
us,
because
they've
already
got
way
too
many
students-
and
I
just
said
this-
doesn't
look
like
it's
gonna
work

lindsay
had
reached
out
to
us
in
the
fall,
and
I
had
said
I
don't
know,
I'm
teaching
online
only
as
an
art
teacher
this
year,
and
I
said
I
have
no
idea
what
this
year
is
going
to
look
like.

scenes

connect

equipment

shared

kids

this
next

we

it

the
parks

rec
commission.

it's

mural
inside
a
park,

cushing
park-
and

I'm
pretty
sure
they're
just
gonna-
be
excited
about
it
and
approve
it
as
well.
But,
ultimately
you
have
the
authority
because
it's
an
art
project.

this

going

kind

everything,
central
and
the
project
will
start
tomorrow
and
we're
going
to
see
amanda
so
amanda's
already
started

kind
of
the
prep
work
and
the
kids
probably
will
be
on
site

teachers
tomorrow.
Just
about
noon
so
we
have
snacks
planned.
Lunch
will
be
provided
by
encore
catering,
which
is
right
up
on
broadway
and
dartmouth
and
they'll
be
providing
barbecue
for
the
kids,
and
that
will
be
really
helpful.

the
design
was
inspired
by
the
students
and
I
think
the
most
amazing
part
of
this
project
that
was
a
surprise
to
me,
is
really
that
ability
for
the
kids
to
actually
see
how
careers
can
be
made
in
such
a
such
a
way
with
mural
work
and
artistry,
and
it's
it's
amazing
to
be
a
part
of
this.
So
just
really
I
wanted
to
just
say
thank
you
so
much
and
then
you
know
feel
free
to
come
down
to
the
project.

I'm
gonna
go
ahead
and
just
introduce
myself
really
briefly
a
couple
of
you,
I've
actually
already
pitched
to,
and
I
thank
you
in
advance
for
your
your
buy-in
and
your
support.
My
quick
background,
because
I
only
have
a
few
minutes
is,
if
I
have
a
bachelor
of
fine
arts
and
figure,
drawing
and
painting
from
the
university
of
florida
go
gators
and
did
some
post-bac
work
in
printmaking
with
the
university
of
georgia
and
then
I
went
on
and
I
got
my
master
of
fine
arts
at
the
art
institute
of
chicago.

Then
I
was
faculty
at
bu,
and
so
I
haven't
this
passion
for
curricular
development,
connectivity
collaboration
and
I
wasn't
so
fond
of
making
work
for
myself,
as
I
was
really
orchestrating
these
other
environments.
So
the
two
projects
I'd
like
to
pitch
tonight,
actually
for
your
financial
support,
I'll
show
in
a
presentation.
One
is
regarding
an
ongoing
gallery,
experience
that
are
in
public
places
and
then
the
other
is
a
one-day
event.

I
don't
think
I
can
share
my
screen
at
this
point.
Oh
yes,
I
can
pardon
me
so.
The
first
thing
I'd
like
to
present
is
a
partnership
with
a
gentleman
named
scott
mcfarlane
who's,
a
woodworker,
and
this
is
the
idea
of
creating
micro
gallery
spaces
in
in
thinking
about
structures
that
could
maintain
them.
That
could
organize
them.
That
could
exhibit
him.
The
natural
relationship
was
with
schools
and
school
communities.
K
So
you
know,
as
we
saw
with
the
student
presentation,
everything's
pretty
dim,
and
yes,
we
all
want
to
throw
this
away
and
throw
that
away,
but
the
next
few
years
are
still
going
to
be
toeing
the
line
not
as
bad
as
post-world
war
ii
in
europe
by
any
means,
but
still
looking
for
something
beautiful,
something,
wonderful,
something,
creative
and
unique,
especially
when
we're
told
we
can't
go
into
schools
to
see
the
art
opening.
We
can't
go
to
the
museum
without
signing
up
ahead
of
time.

So
there's
an
intimacy
and
a
connection
and
a
wonder
that
occurs
when
you
play
with
the
micro
scale
and
recently,
a
woman
out
in
seattle,
no
not
sail
apartment.
I
think
she's
in
portland
got
a
lot
of
press
for
a
free
gallery
and
in
her
free
gallery
she
would
make
work
and
ask
people
to
take
it
and
share
it
and
make
other
works.
It's
been
a
very
well-off
community,
so
she
obviously
doesn't
have
to
worry
about
tagging
or
theft,
and
things
like
that.

So
what
I'm
proposing
is
the
construction
of
eight
units,
one
for
each
school
of
tiny
gallery
spaces,
because,
as
a
parent
with
a
kid
in
school,
we
have
not
been
invited
into
that.
Public
shared
communal
space
and
art
is
a
really
great
way
to
do
it,
and
we've
had
a
lot
of
success
with
both
the
city
supporting
us
and
the
museum
of
outdoor
art.

So
what
we're
looking
at
is
a
three
gallery
unit
which
is
enclosed,
a
plexiglass,
an
outdoor
sculpture,
garden,
covered
garden,
space,
exterior
walls
that,
as
we
saw
with
the
students
before
those
exterior
walls,
could
even
be
opportunities
for
students
to
create
onto
and
and
the
opportunity
to
have,
a
partnership
with
the
public
schools,
museum
of
outdoor
art,
the
city
of
englewood.
These
are
people,
I've
already
made
connections
with,
and
my
hope
is
to
now
add
to
this
list,
the
art
commission,
so
being
an
art
person
myself
with
a
hot
glue,
gun
and
zip
ties.

There's
no
back
at
it
on
it,
there's
no
clear
story
window,
but
it
gives
you
a
sense
of
scale
and
it's
tiny,
but
it
would
be
three
separate
spaces.
Those
internal
walls
would
slide
out.
So
if
somebody
wanted
a
big
gallery,
they
could
have
a
big
gallery
or
there's
more
hanging
spaces,
we're
probably
going
to
add
a
couple
more
inches
to
height.
So
in
the
salon
format
of
the
french,
you
could
do
layers
of
artwork
hanging,
and
so
that
gives
you
a
sense
of
the
space.

The
goals
of
this
project
is
to
connect
with
a
civic.
You
know.
Basically,
civic
engagement
create
a
covet
friendly
space,
that's
also
creative
and
unexpected.
It
also
lends
itself
to
multi-disciplinary
outlet
outreaches.
It
doesn't
have
to
be
painting
or
drawing.
It
could
also
be
something
from
a
3d
printer
and
a
3d
scanner.
It
could
also
be
found
objects.

So
in
terms
of
civic
engagement.
I've
mentioned
the
englewood
public
schools.
I
am
well
kimberly
who
just
got
off
was
the
only
one
who
said,
but
I'm
not
going
to
be
here
yesterday
next
year,
but
if
I
was,
I
would
support
it.
I
have
had
100
success
with
all
the
art
teachers
in
the
district,
the
steam
teachers,
into
the
district
and
today
to
my
excitement.

The
gentleman
who
runs
the
steam
fabrication
lab
has
said.
Yes,
him
and
his
students
would
love
to
take
on
this
project
and
build
one
for
every
school.
In
the
district
museum
of
outdoor
arts.
I
am
working
with
tim
he's
presenting
to
his
boss,
so
hopefully
they
will
jump
on
board
with
this
as
well
and
local
businesses.

They're
asked
a
lot
for
donating,
so
my
goal
is
to
if
I
can
give
them
cash
and
have
them
give
me
something
at
cost,
but
but
sort
of
share
that
possession
we've
just
seen
artwork
and
student
artwork.
I've
worked
a
lot
with
students.
Sometimes
it
gets
kind
of
awkward
when
it's
big,
but
when
you
shrink
it
down
all
that
angsty
teen
pencil
art
becomes
really
lovely
and
intimate
and
but
also
becomes
an
opportunity
for
anything,
that's
being
done
in
those
gallery
spaces
or
in
the
classroom.

It
can
then
be
put
into
these
tiny
spaces.
For
those
of
us
on
the
outside.
To
go
see.
They're
inexpensive,
to
create
artwork
for
the
dollar
store
has
one
inch
by
two
inch
things
for
a
dollar.
You
can
get
three
of
them,
so
this
becomes
in
terms
of
given
that
65
70
of
our
families
in
engle
would
live
at
or
below
poverty.
According
to
the
free
and
reduced
lunch
rate.
This
really
becomes
more
accessible
for
even
artists.

I
know
that
two
gardens
with
stem
programs
would
like
to
have
theirs
mounted
with
their
garden,
because
that's
a
place
that
people
naturally
gravitate
to
other
admin.
I've
talked
to
prefer
it
to
be
closer
to
the
front
entrance
of
their
schools
where
they
have
lights.
Those
can
all
be
worked
out.
It's
open
access,
24
hours
friendly
viewing.
We
as
parents
could
go
to
an
opening
when
it's
not
closed
up
and
it's
extremely
photogenic,
and
I
know
that
that
also
creates
a
lot
more
awareness
of
programs,
funding
and
other
opportunities.

They
also
have
the
ability
to
make
custom
objects
that
might
be
needed
in
their
particular
studio
steam.
Teachers
were
all
over
this
when
I
talked
to
them
and
then
the
fab
lab,
I'm
so
excited
dave.
Trujillo
just
gave
me
a
confirmation,
so
that
was
my
last
one.
My
last
like,
I
can't
present
this
without
that
last
person
in
there
on
the
pile
budget.
So
please
note:
construction
costs
are
changing
by
the
minute.
There's
a
lot
of
supply
chain
errors.

I
would
love
to
be
able
to
spend
some
money
back
for
all
the
people.
I've
talked
to
and
whatnot,
so
I
included
myself,
but
I'd
also
like
to
pay
the
person
who
is
creating
the
designs
and
the
schematics.
My
friend,
scott
is
giving
the
drawings
for
free
to
the
to
the
school
so
that
they
can
then
take
those
designs
and
he's
even
figured
out
all
the
different
elements
and
bits
and
pieces.
So
anyone
who's
interested
in
looking
more
detailed.

Scott
mcfarlane
is
building
two
units,
one
will
reside
in
my
front
yard
and
the
university
of
colorado
apartment
university
of
denver
students
will
be
housing
a
show
for
their
graduation
weekend.
So
the
first
show
we're
gonna
test.
What
works,
what
doesn't
work
and
then
make
those
suggestions
to
the
school.
The
second
proof
of
concept
will
go
to
the
museum
of
outdoor
art
for
them
to
either
consider
having
internal
space
for
them
to
play
with
as
well,
especially
if
they
participate
as
sponsors.

Well,
what
I'm
thinking?
Well,
I
I've
left
it
to
the
art
teachers
and
the
administration
on
site,
because
they
know
their
buildings
better
than
anybody.
They
also
know
their
code
better
than
anything.
Two
schools
have
gardens
and
they
already
have
working
gardens
and
so,
in
their
ideal
situation,
those
art
teachers
and
stem
teachers
would
like
that
gallery
to
reside
more
in
that
space
of
the
garden
and
the
gardens
are
open
24
hours
a
day,
they
have
a
security
camera.

Two
other
campuses
would
like
to
have
them
under
a
light
where
they
have
a
security,
camera
and
close
to
the
front
door.
Some
felt
more
comfortable
having
them
out.
It
really
depended
on
if
it
was
a
busy
street
what
neighborhood
it
was
in
and
rather
than
get
caught
up
in
that
type
of
conversation
with
them.
I
just
asked
them
to
tell
me
where
they
felt
it
had
the
best
visibility.

Exactly
my
job
really
is
to
be
this
project
manager,
art
director,
to
knit
together
all
the
funding
sources,
to
talk
to
the
teachers,
because
I
have
made
the
art
I've
been
in
the
ground.
I
know
those
questions
I
own
a
house,
so
I
know
about
waterproofing
and
roofing
materials
and
whatnot,
and
I'm
really
sorry
I
should
have
brought
that
out
in
the
budget.
I
have
raised
in
kind
on
this
project,
probably
close
to
well
yeah
well
over
almost
three
thousand
dollars,
because
I've
had
roofing
materials,
volunteered
building
design
plans.

Volunteered
city
of
englewood
has
volunteered
to
do
all
the
marketing
across
print
media
web.
They
gave
me
they
don't
have
money,
but
they
have
the
ability
to
do
all
that
and
they
gave
me
that
as
well
and
then
the
chamber
had
said
they
could
as
well
support
the
digital
advertising
and
marketing
of
the
project
like
this.
So
I
wanted
to
draw
out
that
some
people
have
already
ponied
up
with
some
significant
in-kind
donations.

But
yes,
I
would
be
out
of
the
loop
once
I
got
the
first,
let's
say
three
exhibitions
of
each
school
up
and
running
and
worked
out
the
kinks
with
the
teachers.
In
my
ideal
world
museum
of
outdoor
art
would
take
their
tiny
studio
gallery
and
have
graduating
seniors.
Take
turns
exhibiting
work
in
their
gallery,
maybe
the
last
two
months
of
school,
so
each
graduating
senior
can
have
this
site
to
do
something
in
or
each
school
would
say.
Oh
our
graduating.
Sixth
graders
are
graduating
eighth
graders.

Sorry,
it's
working
out
this
way,
but
when
covet
hit,
I
thought
I
have
to
do
things
to
be
busy
and
to
create
projects
for
myself
and
the
city,
and
I
do
work
with
the
arts
and
students.
So
for
me
to
create
environments
where
kids
can
feel
good
about
showing
artwork,
which
led
me
to
this
next
project,
because
I
was
talking
to
a
couple
of
the
online
teachers
who
were
having
a
hard
time
connecting
with
students
and
dealing
with
their
the
depression
of
working
out
of
the
home
and
being
students
in
the
home.

It
really
is
a
team
makes
the
dream
kind
of
thing,
and
this
project
is
not
so
much
for
people
who
identify
as
artists
or
creatives,
but
people
who
identify
with
a
city
member
a
person
in
the
public,
a
person
wanting
to
be
outside
making
something
together.
So
it
opens
up
a
dialogue
to
a
you
know,
not
the
people
who
are
going
to
take
those
classes
for
whatnot,
but
the
people
who
just
happen
to
be
walking
off
the
street
like
yeah.

I
would
love
to
make
a
mark,
and
so
this
project
is
a
one-day
printmaking
experience
for
community
members
across
the
board.
It
is
in
partnership
with
the
city
of
englewood.
Once
again,
the
marketing
marketing
department
asked
me
to
pitch
this.
They
loved
it
and
then
tony
arnoldi
who's
on
this
and
take
it
away
after
me
is
giving
me
the
best
gift
of
all,
which
is
the
steamroller,
the
permits,
the
license,
the
location
and
the
event.

Because
to
me
those
were
the
things
of
all
the
print-making
people
I
talked
to.
I
couldn't
imagine
fathoming
so
went
to
tony
right
away,
knowing
that
she
does
special
events
and
luckily,
what
scares
the
pants
off
me,
which
is
dealing
with
the
public
and
vendors
and
whatnot
she's
fine
with-
and
I
love
this
part,
the
the
art
part,
because
I
have
a
lot
more
familiarity
with
this
world.

So
in
this
world
you
basically
use
a
city
maintenance
driver
who
can
be
the
hero
of
the
day
he
or
she
gets
to
at
the
end
of
the
day,
once
everyone's
made,
their
block
or
their
mark
gets
to
make
the
print-
and
this
gives
you
a
good
anatomy
of
how
the
project
would
look
in
terms
of
material
costs
and
whatnot.
The
goals
and
aspiration
of
a
project
like
this
once
again
is
community
celebration.

If
this
looks
like
art,
when
it's
done,
please
understand
that
it's
like
making
art
with
elementary
kids,
you
not
you
can't
guarantee
that
the
thing
is
going
to
be
a
desirable
thing,
that's
where
the
professional
artists
come
in
and
we
can
create
a
matrix
and
that
will
help
unify
everything.
But
please
understand
this
could
just
be
a
really
great,
publicly
shared
event
that
the
print
or
oh,
my
gosh,
let's
take
it
to
brian
at
frame
to
art
and
see
if
he'll
frame
it.

But
please
understand
that
because
this
is
the
public
and
it
has
less
controlling
variables
like
the
museum
of
outdoor
art
when
they
hire
artists.
This
is
the
more
about
people
coming
together
and
making
materials
and
the
materials
are
expensive.
We're
not
talking
wood
block
that
takes
forever
we're,
not
even
talking
linoleum,
where
we
have
to
worry
about
people
cutting
themselves,
we're
talking
about
things
like
rubber
bands,
we're
talking
about
things
that
you
get
from
the
dollar
store
that
can
be
sticky
and
in
terms
of
celebration,
let's
just
say,
family
friendly.

It's
highly
visible.
It
would
be
public,
there's
sponsorship,
opportunities
vendor
booths
in
terms
of
tony
arnoldi.
She
is
really
looking
towards
this
as
being
a
touch
a
truck
event
where
this
becomes
one
event
on
it.
She
has
already
worked
through
her
supervisors
and
the
city
maintenance
people
who
said.
If
we
can
do
this
on
a
friday,
then
we
can
definitely
buy
into
this,
because
you
don't
have
to
pay
for
overtime,
you
don't
have
to
pay
for
time
and
a
half
and
and
other
things
like
that
it
could
be
covered
in
event.

So
tony
arnaldi
is
working
out
the
nuts
and
bolts
of
that
aspect,
but
it's
probably
going
to
be
at
the
rtd
light
rail
stop,
that's
just
north
of
the
civic
center,
so
you
can
tap
into
the
after
school
crowd.
Looking
at
late
august
after
school
crowd
people
on
the
light
rail
at
people
after
work,
I
leave
tony
to
deal
with
the
details
of
what
food
van
can
be
there,
but
you
definitely
have
an
opportunity
to
go.

You
have
an
opportunity
to
make
us
what's
the
spirit
of
the
time
like
we
saw
with
those
children's
that
pardon
me,
the
students
work,
there's
something
celebratory
fun:
it's
a
recovery
time,
it's
an
account
of
the
year.
The
theme
can
be
determined
and
would
be
determined,
but
this
gives
you
a
picture
of
what
a
matrix
could
look
like,
and
this
one
somebody
made
the
artwork
of
the
building
and
each
person
could
do
the
mark
inside
the
building.

So
it
requires
the
driver
who
we
have
it's
going
to
require
two
professional
printmakers
who
I
have
because,
though
working
with
prank
rolling
out
the
ink
and
laying
things
down
is
a
skill,
an
acquired
skill.
Unlike
what
you
see
here,
we
would
not
let
anybody,
but
a
city
driver
drive
the
roller.
The
steamroller
marketing
materials
are
expenses.
Project
coordination
is
an
expense
and
then
the
objects
that
you
would
use.
So
with
that
in
mind,
this
is
what
a
budget
looks
like,
and

the

on
the

year
in
the
denver
area

month

march,
they
focus
on
photography
one
year
and
then
on
the
biennial
year.
They
focus
on
printmaking,
so
these
people
are
very
involved
in
that
catherine
chauvin
was
the
chair
over
at
the
art
school
of
art,
art
history
at
du
now
she's
back
to
being
a
printmaker.

teaching
a
relief
print
class
and
she
is
willing
to
show
up
with
herself,
as
well
as
eight
to
twelve
students
who
are
all
print
making
students
who
can
help
with
some
of
the
logistics
the
day
of
the
event.

those
are
my
biggest
things
I
want
to
make
sure
I
showed
those
are
the
hurdles
I've
gotten
to

biggest
complaint
I
found
by
doing
this
event
is
everybody
wants
to
drive
a
steamroller
and
everybody

said

been

blast

printmakers

interested
in
because
it's

people
doing
it
not
other
artists
making
the
artwork.
They
love
the
idea
that
whether
what
normally
would
happen
is
somebody
would
pay.

difference
is
we're
we're
not
allowing
this
to
be
a
a
bigger
project,
we're
trying
to
be
in
the
moment
time
capsule
the
zeitgeist
to
sort
of
mono
print
type
of
experience.

have
just
connected
to
letterpress
that's
going
into
the
depot
the
letterpress
depot,
with
the
hope
that
maybe
they
could
have
a
booth,
and
maybe
they
could
do
mono
prints
of
people's
shoes
like
the
bottom
of
their
footprints
and
and
do
some
fun
simple,
non-expensive,
hands-on
projects
for
another
booth.

going
to
it's
really
hard
to
know
what
cart
to
put
forward
first
in
the
chicken
or
the
egg,
but
I'm
I'm
hoping
that
between
the
two
organizations
we
can
have
the
cash
we
need

make

safe
fun
deliverable
event,

did
about
three
months
worth
of
legwork
before
coming
to
you
to
make
sure
I
could
produce
this.

unless

the
call

high
school

did

unreal

I
just
bought

bunch
of
flooring,
and
I
noticed
that
the
pallets
that
they
had
the
flooring
packed

sheets

plywood

looked
like
lumber.
Liquidators
was
just
throwing
those
sheets
of
plywood
away.

saw
them
in
their
garbage
dumpster,
so
you
might
want
to
contact
the
places
that
sell
flooring
and

I
was
at
the
woodworker
at
scott's
studio
today
I
was
literally
picking
things
out
of
the
garbage
and
having
them
cut
down
to
two
inches
by
three
inches.
So
I

laminates

go
on
the
back
of
kitchen
cabinets
would
be
great
pallets
for
any
artist.
So
so
I
might
be
able
to
save
some
budget
there
and
not
go
to
the
dollar
store.

have
some
scrap
lumber
coming
from
the
woodworking,

is
an
idea
of
what
an
art
teacher
can
do
with
a
student,
and
then
that
becomes
a
sculpture
that
can
go
into
the
tiny
studio
and
basically
that
would
be
going
to
kindergartners
and
saying
match
things

color

match
things
that
are
all
the
same
shape
or
something
along
the
lines
of
this.
This
is
where
I
really
get
excited
is
coming
up
with
some
curricular
ideas
and
I
send
those
to
the
teachers
to
kind
of
give
them

cue

do.

of
things

then

children
to
think
about
that
or
any
artist
to
think
about

then

stem
teacher
has
the
3d
scanner

cut

learns
that
this
becomes
a
maquette,
that
you
can
pitch
to
the
art
commission
to
show
proof
of
concept,

there's
a
lot
of
opportunities
for
that
little
tiny

printmaking
event,
I'm
also
looking
at
that
studio.

another
option
so,
like

the

Thank

already

fairly
easy
submission
process,
but
for
some
of
these
more
complex
projects,
especially
the
ones
that
involve
multiple
departments
around

city

resources,

of
started
to
take
a
stab
at
you
know
creating
a
more
formalized
like
submission
process,
so
that
you
know
it
adds
a
little
bit
of
clarity,
guidance
both
to
the
community
members
and
to
us

everybody
else
on

call

who
would
be
involved.

do
in

can
bring
something
to

likely
a
lot

stucco
company
that
has
done

art,
restoration
and
these
again
were
built
in-house
many
years
ago,
they're
not
from
an
official
artist.

any
means
it
was
park,
staff
that
created
them,
and
so
the
park
staff
decided
we're
gonna
go
ahead
and
move
forward
with
getting
them
patched

They're
such
a
significant
piece
of
roman's
park,
and
so
ultimately
for
you
I
know
we
budgeted
some
funds.
There
really
is
no
rush
to
get
this
done
tomorrow.
We
have
to
get
them
stuccoed.
The
stucco
company
said
that
we'll
need
three
to
four
coats
of
paint
which
we
can
do
in-house
and
get
them
prepped.
I
I
think
the
goal
would
be
probably
just
to
do
some
art,
depending
on
the
cost,
on
a
couple
of
the
mushrooms
and
preserve
the
lovely
brown
mushrooms
for
the
the
rest
of
the
park.
Unless,
for
some
reason
we
get
an
artist,
that's
really
to
do
it
at
a
reasonable
price
too.
So
that's
just
a
quick
update,
I'll
keep
you
all
updated.

Probably
in
july
we
may
have
these
mushrooms
ready
to
go
as
far
as
the
timeline
is
concerned,
but
we
also
mentioned
having
a
school
project
do
this,
and
so
that
would
mean
this
fall
or
early
winter,
that
we
would
actually
do
the
art
piece.
So
anyways,
not
a
big
rush
on
these.
Just
an
update
that
they're
going
to
be
back
to
a
healthy
sense
of
growth
in
the
near
future.

they're
tall,

the
students
do
the
trunk
piece
of
the
mushroom
and
then
the
artist
or
they
stay
just
brown
on
top
or
you
just
paint
them
a
solid
anyways,

but
yeah.

agree
with
you.
I
think
this
would
be
a
fun
one
for
students
up
late.
The
new
playground
is
really
fun.
