Okay, so I call this mean of the Inglewood environmental Foundation to order, um let's do a quick roll call, uh Christine Underhill.

There we go um yes, I'm Melinda goldlish, with public works and I'm; sorry, my camera isn't working but I believe we've got the mic in the volume working now. Thank you.

I I think Chris might have been having some trouble that he he couldn't hear um yeah. It looks like he's logged off, but he stepped in to see if I was able to hear and um and I needed, to make some adjustments. But I can hear now and I got my camera to come on um so, but he had said that he wasn't able to hear you if that helps.

Okay, thanks for letting me know all right, so we have one item of business today um and because I don't have it in front of me because I can't use my computer, um Christina or Michelle are able to read the agenda item.

Okay, here we go slowly.

um All right, so our uh new business item is the Twin City security po.

D

Great, thank you. um Melinda. Are you able to give maybe a one minute report about what this is before? We take a vote.

um Yes, we had a short-term security contract with Twin City security and they were to provide security from the time that we needed to terminate the previous security company for um breach of contract and to get the new security com company um in selected and uh be able to start the work we had initially anticipated about three months and possibly expanding till four, and just um in working with getting the new contractor selected and their transition and so forth.

It ended up taking more time than we had anticipated so that we're closer now to about five months and we had initially requested or the um purchase order, was I believe for 99 500 and with the additional time that Twin Cities has been putting into providing security. For us. um The um we're about twenty thousand dollars short to be able to pay for the remainder of their contract.

Okay, great Melinda, and so the motion before us then, is to make a approval of this of this arrangement of this twenty thousand dollars.

um From an eve perspective, it also will be reviewed as a council item by the city, manager's office and the finance director, um and, if it's approved by us today, as well as those two entities, um it will be on the council agenda for this coming Monday October 17th to approve the contract.

um Are there any questions from Melinda before entertain a motion.

I'll make a motion to approve the increase of twenty thousand dollars to the Twin City security po.

um We Melinda just provided a quick presentation of what we're doing today or what we're considering um Christina just made a motion to approve and I seconded it before we vote. Do you have any questions or comments? Jackie.
