Trying
to
remember
if
there

statistical
anomalies
this
month,
I
don't
think
I
don't
think
there
was
anything
that
really
jumped
out
at
me.
As
I
was
looking
through
it.
I
think
we're
still
seeing
just
that
steadily
increasing
physical
items
circulation.
It's
been
nice
we're
getting
more
and
more
traffic
in
the
doors.
The
physical
visitors,
though
we're
not.
We
have
to
track
that.
Yet
you
know.
As
I
mentioned,
we
have
the
new
traffic
counter
system.

So
that's
true
overdrive,
hoopla,
canopy
axis
360,
of
course,
we've
kind
of
decided
to
move
away
from,
and
so
those,
but
those
other
three
are
kind
of
our
big
drivers
there
and
to
me
that's
great,
because
2020
was
you
probably
heard
me
say
this
before
it's
gangbusters
year
for
digital,
that
was
big
expansion,
and
not
only
have
we
retained
that
usage,
but
we're
continuing
to
grow
on
it.
So
that's
really
cool.
Definitely
for
us
an
indicator
that
we
want
to
keep
investing
in
that
sort
of
thing
and
keep
promoting
it.

internet
computer
usage
continues
to
just
get
busier
and
busier.
So
I
think
when
we
get
those
foot
traffic
numbers
we'll
see
that
they're
really
really
getting
strong,
again
kind
of
putting
us
back
in
the
pre-pandemic
range
and
then
the
programming
numbers
were
down
a
little
bit
this
month
compared
to
last
for
children's,
because
it
was
only
half
the
month
of
summer
reading
programs,
we
kind
of
wrapped
up
some
reading
mid-august.

the
top

my
head,
I'm
gonna
start,
I'm
just
gonna
start
talking.
While
I
do
this,
it
was.
You

we're
doing
book.
Clubs,
of
course,
we're
doing
a
lot
of
stuff
like

look
back

august
what
those
would
have
covered.
So
this
would
have
been
creative
writing
group,
the
creative
we
actually
have
one
creative
writing
group.
That's
doing
really
well
and
starting
to
see
about.

You
know
eight
to
ten
people
per
session,
which
is
about
where
you
want
one
of
those
groups
to
be,
and
that's
successful
enough
that
we're
that
that
one's
in
on
wednesday
evenings
they're
doing
well
enough,
but
we're
thinking
about
adding
a
daytime
one
as
well
see
if
we
can
hit
a
different
number
different
demographic
with
that
we've
got
the
memory
cafe.
We've
got
the
french
conversation
circles
that
happen
twice
a
month.
We've
got
classic
movie
series
the
various
book
clubs
and
we've
got
the
trivia
nights.

have
not
been
doing
well,
and
so
I
actually
talked
to
our
programming
librarian
about
ending
those
and
rethinking
the
way
we
approach
those
in
the
future.
The
non-violent
communication
series.
Let
me
see
if
there's
anything
I
missed
about
this,
so
that
that's
what
we
had
in
a
cut
in
another
classic
movie
series.
Some
of
those
are
repeating.
We
had
also
the
sit
in
it
group
so
that
that's
what
was
represented
in
the
august
numbers
there.

really

make
it
work
and
just
but
we're
never
able
to
find
an
audience
for
it.

really
recommend
it
with
the
trivia
one
that
we

and

lot
of
that,

think,
is
the
venue
it's
just
kind
of
a
fun.

great
way
for
us
to

turning
people
up

starting
an
instagram
and
she's
she's
done
some
social
media
marketing
in
the
past.
For
the
the
like
university,
like
student
support
level,
so
she's
got
some
interest
in
that,
so
she's
gonna
be
helping
us
out.

I
guess
she
had
just
thought
like.
Oh
well,
you
know
she
wasn't
allowed
to
do
that
over
the
phone,
and
I
happened
to
have
my
laptop
with
me,
so
I
was
able
to
just
pull
it
out.

hot
spot

my
phone
and
get
her
signed
up
for
a
permanent
library
card
right
there.
So
we're
worth
going
to
that
event.
Just
just
and
she's
like
oh,
this
makes
my
week.

Digital
products,
new
digital
product,
this
month,
would
be
the
chilton's
library.
So
I
don't
know
if
you
you
probably
recall
from
here
in
the
library
we
had
these
giant
shelves
full
of
the
automotive
repair
manuals
going
back
decades
and
decades
really
a
great
resource,
but
they
occupied
a
large
footprint
in
the
library.

we
decided
to
phase
those
out
we've
added
the
chilton's
library
online
to
it
it
just
digitizes
all
that.
So
that's
something
that
we
we
don't.
You
know
it's
not
the
most
popular
thing
we'll
ever
offer,
but
for
the
people
who
need
it,
it's
it's
really
great.
If
you
ever
need
to
figure
out
how
to
fix
the
you
know,
carburetor
on
a
1984
chevy,
you
know,
that's
that's
the
place
to
turn
so.

We
met
with
all
copy,
which
is
a
printer
copier
vendor
we're
looking
at
is
replacing
and
upgrading
the
public
printers,
the
multi,
the
multi-function
printers
and
copier
scanners.
We
a
lot
of
requests
for
fax.
We
get
a
lot
of
requests
for
scan
to
email
and
then
we've
had
a
lot
of
in
the
last
year.
We've
had
a
lot
of
issues
with
the
reliability
of
the
public
printers,
and
this
is
something
that
is
really
just
one
of
the
most
popular
services
we
have.

we
really
want
to
make
sure
we
have
the
best
possible
product
in
place
for
this.
So
I
actually,
just
today,
got
set
up
the
appointment
for
next
week
to
review
their
their
recommendations.
They
they
demonstrated
sort
of
a
replacement
hardware
and
replacement
software,
so
we'll
make
a
decision
in
coordination
with
the
it
department
about
whether
that's
that's
the
right
direction
to
go,
but
we
really
want
to
make
sure
we're
providing
the
services
that
people
are
asking
for.

the
local
history
that
local
history
note
you've
heard
me
mentioned
before,
starting
to
come
together,
we've
got
the
we've
finished,
tearing
out
the
old
shelving
our
start.
The
old
countertops
kind
of
did
the
wall
repairs.
We've
got
the
new
shelving
mounted.
We've
got
the
colorado.
History
collection
moved
into
that
space.
Now
so
now,
there's
just
a
little
bit
left
of
sort
of
cleanup
to
do.

We've
had
last
week,
one
of
the
people
from
ehps
who
does
graphic
design
work
for
the
city,
come
out
and
kind
of
take
some
measurements
to
start
figuring
out
doing
some
graphic
design.
Some
decals
some
posters,
some
stuff
like
that
to
kind
of
create
the
sort
of
mini
museum
that
we're
going
for.
We've
got
the
blip
glass
display
cases
in
place.

The
the
video
that
traditionally,
the
problem
with
video
games
and
libraries
is
that
they
have
a
really
high
loss
rate.
People
will
steal
them.
If
they're,
you
know
accessible
to
be
stolen
or
they'll
check
them
out,
and
then
they
never
get
returned
and
a
lot
of
times
we
suspected
in
the
past,
when
this
would
happen
that
they
were
getting
resold
on
the
second-hand
market.
So
there's
you
know
gamestop.
Basically,
you
can
come
by
with
a
video
game.
They'll
give
you
cash
for
it.

That's,
that's
kind
of
you
know
universal
for
libraries
right
now
and
a
lot
of
that's
just
that
the
secondary
market
for
that
stuff
is
not
what
it
used
to
be,
and
so
we
suspect
the
same
is
going
to
be
true
for
video
games,
which
means
that
this
is
an
opportunity
to
actually
you
know,
invest
in
that
and
and
be
able
to
offer
those
materials.
So
we
we
have
about
a
dozen
nintendo
switch
games
about
a
dozen
playstation
4
games.
We're
going
to
probably
expand
to
xbox
as
well.

Feedback
from
the
people
registered
has
been
very
positive,
but
we're
really
soft
watching
this
we're
not
drawing
a
lot
of
attention
to
it,
because
we
wanted
to
see
what
happens
with
those
first
couple.
Circs
do
they
come
back
to
us
and
then
we've
got
to
set
up
so
that
the
games
themselves,
the
disc
the
valuable
part,
are
held
behind
the
counter
so
that
it's
not
like
somebody
could
just
walk
in
and
grab
them
and
walk
out
and
the
whole
collection
is
gone.
So
we
think
we're
you
know,
handling
this
in
a
smart
way,
they're.

right
now
it's
funny
they're
limited
to
circulate
only
here
at
englewood.
You
have
to
be
an
england
patron
to
check
them
out.
They
won't
go
to
a
marmot
library.
They
won't
go
to
go
out
via
prospect
or
anything
like
that.
We
can
change
that,
but
right
now
we
want
to
keep
it
and
keep
it
in-house.
But
apparently
some
of
the
bibliographic
records
are
visible
to
patrons
from
other
libraries,
because
I
looked
and
saw
one
of
them
already
had
like
14
holds
from
other
library
patrons
I'm
just
like.

really
optimistic

and
they're
back
to
in-person
story
times
now
they
were
doing
a
lot
of
work
in
the
second
half
of
august.

a
half
it
was
the
video
production
studio
for
all
the
facebook
live
stuff
that
they
were
doing,
programs
and
story
times,
and
so
they
they
they
spent
a
long
time
getting

final
stats
for
some
reading

office
reached
out
to
me
with
these
suggested
changes
to
the
patron
code
of
conduct
and
those
are
what
you
see
in
red

then
you
all
provided
additional
input
and
what

What
I'm
going
to
send

to
city
attorney's
office
includes
where
it
says,
smoking
of
any
kind.

at

gonna
suggest
adding
smoking
or
vaping
of
any
kind,
a
little
down
below
where
it
says,
leaving
young
children
under
the
age
of

we've
determined
that
the
probably
the
age
we
think
of
as
cracked

12,
because

somebody
is
able
to
be
a
teen
volunteer.

us-

teen
volunteers
can
stay
in

library
unattended

little

improper

library

holding
a
cane
or

had

of
a
cane
visible,
that's
hard
to
explain,

maybe

better

attorney's
office.
He
was
going
to
do
some
research
about
weapons
and
libraries.

that

overnight

pushback

we

something

technically

legal

based
off
of

court
cases
and
things
that
have
happened.

is

would

be

cool.

the
sort

is

you
could

inside

each

our
collection
to
rfid
is
one
of

perpetually.

enable

cool

machine
in
the
valley
center.
For
those

could

in
your
materials
much
quicker.

savings

library
systems

operation

the
cost
of
implementation
on
something
like
this
traditionally
is
give
you

ballpark
about

dollar

item

your
whole

block
party

saturday

three
to
nine
pm

3400
block

be
an
excellent
event.
We've
got
a
huge
stage
and
a
big
led
tv
type
screen.
That's
going
to
mirror
what's
going
on
in
the
states,
so
you
won't
miss
anything
beer
garden
tons
of
booths.
Most
of
the
restaurants
are
going
to
be
open
on
broadway
serving
food.

of
the
sponsors
are
tri
county
health,
the
city
of
englewood,
of
course,
change
the
trend,
craig
hospital,
all
health
and
integrated
family
services.
There's
a
huge
list
of
partners
that
are
going
to
join
us
and
we've
been
doing
outreach.
The
library
is
helping
out
pass
out
these
little
little
bitty
flyers
that
talk
about
the
events
and
hopefully
we
can
get
some
of
the
individuals
experiencing
homeless
to
come
over.
I
believe,
there's
going
to
be
a
dentist
on
site
haircuts,
a
shower
trailer,
a
way
to
do
laundry
while
you're
there.

and
that
is
one
of
their
goals,
is
to
get
a
job
and
do
just
that
thing.
So
this
is
the
first
time
we're
doing
this.
We
are
anticipating,
we'll
continue
to
do
it.
It
might
be
a
bi-annual
event.

often,

are
in
talks
with
the
shower
trailer
and
also
the
laundry
to
do
more
often

was
one
request
that
one
of
the
librarians
had
back
when
I

with
the
city

It's
it's
all
the
partners,
so,

we've
literally
our
open
space
manager,
myself
mark
our
recreation
manager,
we've
been
going
around
and
passing
these
little
flyers
out.
You
know
I
walk
to
go,
get
coffee
or
lunch
or
something
and
see
somebody
and
just
say:
hey,
there's
a
flyer
for
something:
that's
coming
up
if
you're
interested
and
share
with
your
friends.
So
so
a
lot
is
just
face
to
face,
but
all
the
partnering
agencies
are
sharing
as
well.

just
wanted
to
say
that
we
went
to
the
little
neighborhood
food
truck
thing
two
weeks
ago
in
bellevue
park,
and
it
was
great.
I
know
that
the
last
one
for
the
year
is
on
thursday
and
it's
ice
cream.
Only
sweet
cow
is
coming
to
rotolo
park
and
we'll
be
there,
but
I
just
think
it's
a
really
cool
thing
that
the
city's
been
doing
so
hopefully
be
on
the
lookout
next
summer.
