living

colorado
since
2016.,

moved

eaglewood
about
a
year
ago
we
bought

house

so
yep

englewood

wanted

find

way
to
give
back
and
get
involved,

choice

I'm
an
occupational
therapist.

work
with
kids
with
special
needs
and
use
the
library
frequently
all
over
the
city,
the
denver
metro
area,
lots
of
different
libraries.

different

editing

interesting
start

many

up

libraries

have
a
real
passion
for
this
sort
of
thing,
slowly

tolerate
being
around
books.

like
you
know,
I'm
shocking
over
that

I

born
in
england,
but
I
was
raised
here
and
so
I've
been
in

englewood
library
at
its
current
location
and
prior
one.
For
many
years
I've
been
the
liaison
for,
I
think,
close
to
a
year
now
and
it's
a
great
bunch.

usually
how
it
goes

do
december
real
quick.
So
this
was
our
let's
see
december.
You
know
obviously
a
strange
month
with
a
lot
of
holidays,
but
more
strange
this
year,
because
we
reverted
to
curbside
toward
the
end
of
november
in
response
to
the
kobe
dial
moving
to
red
for
arapahoe
county,
as
well
as
just
about
everywhere
else
in
the
state.
So
we
were
continuing
to
do
a
pretty
pretty
pretty
decent
business
in
the
curbside.
I
We
were,
you
know,
seeing
about
30
to
40
people
a
day
coming
and
picking
up
items.
So
that's
represented
here
the
number
of
physical
visitors,
virtual
visitors,
kind
of
on
trend
with
what
we've
seen
this
year,
mostly
other
numbers
they're
roughly
similar.
Let's
go
down
to
circulation,
so
we
actually
saw.
I
thought
this
was
interesting
in
terms
of
the
physical
material
circulation,
we're
running
around
about
a
third
of
what
we
normally
would
and
that's
been
steadily
going
up
in
recent
months.
I
So
over
the
summer,
when
we
first
started
doing
curbside,
we
were
running
about
20
ish
of
what
we
would
normally
do
in
terms
of
physical
material
circulation
and
that's
been
steadily
increasing.
We
were
october
november,
I
think
we're
around
30
percent
and
then
this
one
we
kind
of
hit
that
33
point,
which
is
you
know
something
it's
partly
because
december
is
usually
a
slow
month,
so
9
600
physical
circuits
is
lower
than
you
would
have
seen
in
like
if
we
look
we're
looking
at
november
2019.
I
We've
talked
about
a
few
times
now,
every
time
now
so
still
looking
at
a
50
roughly
of
our
normal
circulation
and
a
greater
number
of
holds,
because
everything
that
cirquing
is
doing
so
via
hold
so
questions
answered.
We
were
tracking
this,
so
you
know
we've
been
trying
to
really
make
sure
we're
tracking
this
accurately.
We
set
up
clickers
at
all
the
staff
stations,
so
those
numbers
are,
you
know,
accurate
and
for
not
stellar
no
internet
computer
usage
this
month,
because
you
know
we
weren't
open
for
it.

Volunteer
hours
represents
mostly
our
english
language
or
english.
Second,
language
volunteer
tutors.
So
that's
the
31
volunteer
hours
that
you
see
there.
They
they
were
still
coming
into
the
library.
In
some
cases.
In
some
cases
they
were
doing
they
were
connecting
with
people
remotely,
but
we
were
counting
the
hours
where
they
actually
were
taking
using
our
meeting
rooms.

And
so
even
though
we
were
close
to
the
general
public,
we
were
still
allowing
meeting
room
access
for
that
programs,
not
our
busiest
month
for
children's
programming,
but
we
still
did
do
some
some
story
time
some
take
and
makes-
and
that's
what
you
see
there-
that
the
total
attendance
represents
virtual
attendees
as
well
as
taking
makes
given
out
for
our
young
adult
programs
something's.
You
know
pretty
similar
and
then
scroll
down
to
the
adult,
great
yeah
and
then
you'll
see
yeah.
I
Those
adult
programs
largely
were
a
couple
virtuals
and
then
a
lot
of
takeaways
makes
and
the
holiday
taken
makes
were
a
huge
hit.
They,
the
staff,
put
together
a
different
one
for
four
different
weeks.
One
was
we
had
hanukkah
christmas
kwanzaa
and
a
winter
solstice
one
and
those
did
really
well.
We
had
you
know
hundreds
of
people
sign
up
for
those.
I
Not
hundreds
of
people
are
not
about,
maybe
half
to
two-thirds
actually
showed
up
and
got
the
take
and
make
which
was
fun
because
they
take
a
long
time
to
put
together.
So
we
ended
up
after
we
sent
out
the
email
newsletter.
Last
month
we
had
tons
and
tons
of
people
sign
up
way
more
than
we
anticipated,
and
so
we
had
to
like
scale
up
staffing
resources
to
be
able
to.
Actually,
you
know
make
all
these
things,
and
then
it
was
january.

yeah,
no,
no
real
revenue
to
report
we
might
have
had
like
a
100.
I
think
it
was
100
donation
we
received
at
some
point
during
the
month,
but
yeah
I
should.

we
didn't
pause
it
until
january.

incredible
comment
from
a
patron
who
wrote
to
us
to
say
that
she
remember
playing
the
game
as
a
child
with
her
grandmother
but
never
knew
what
it
was
and
then,
as
an
adult
did,
you
know,
got
this
library
taken
make
and
then
was
like
it's.

One
of
the
metrics
is
sort
of
conflated.
It's
both
website
visits
and
catalog
like
digital
catalog
visits
conflated,
I
think,
and
we
had
wondered
if
we

parse
them
out

now
I

a
question,

follow-up
question
about
that,
because
there
are
no
in-house
visitors.
Is
it
the
case
that
all
of
those
online
visits
are
website
visits.

So
because,
there's
so
to
answer
that
last
question
yeah
anybody
who
is
visiting
the
website
or
the
catalog
is
doing
so.
You
know
off
site.
I
mean,
I
guess,
there's
you
know
a
little
bit
of
traffic
from
the
staff
who
are
working
on
site
and
you
know
our.
I
think
some
of
our
staff
machines
might
default
to
the
catalog
page,
but
but
the
vast
vast
majority
there
would
be
remote
traffic.

the

total
number

virtual
visitors
is
a
combination

inglewoodco.gov

library's
website

englewood

the
catalog

the
catalog
site
is
usually
what
we
put.
What
we
have
in
the
past,
at
least
printed
on
the
library
card
and
listed
on
materials
that
we
distribute
like
flyers
and
that
sort
of
thing
and
we're
really.

would
prefer
to
not
take
that
strategy.

I'm
going
to
start
trying
to
have
more
of
the
materials
saying,
would
code
I'll

because
that's
where
we
can
make
announcements.
That
was
where
we
have
stuff
that
resources
that
aren't
specifically
included
in
the
catalog
and
then
that
is
a
you

significant
chunk
of
our
resources.

so

think,
what
I'm
looking

top
number
of
page
views
there,
the
what
I
noticed
was
in
december,
like
2019,
committed
to
december
20th,
because
after
we
talked
about
this,
I
went
and

thought
it
was
really
interesting.
So
december
2019
we
had
652
visits
to
the
angleycode.gov
library.
The
page
called
my
library
card,
which
is
a
page
that
has
description
about
like
some
of
our
circulation
policies,
getting
a
library
card
that
sort
of
thing.
I
I
only
saw
176
visitors
to
that
page
in
2020,
so
that
was
that
was
the
biggest
reduction.
You
know
we
lost
several
hundred
visitors
to
to
that
page
specifically,
and
I
looked
at
that
page
and
kind
of
realized
that
some
of
the
information
there
was
a
little
out
of
date,
and
so
this
got
me
rolling,
and
I
can't
remember
if
it
was
last
if
it
was
before
the
last
time
we
had
library
board
or
this
we
must
been
before.
I
You
know
between
last
time
at
this
time
that
we
did
some
update
on
the
website
and
they
tried
like
sort
of
hit
a
bunch
of
the
pages
on
the
website
to
update
the
information,
bring
them
more
current
and
kind
of
changed.
The
menu
bar
like
the
just
the
net,
just
the
general
navigation
of
the
site,
so
helene
would
be
really
curious.

one
thing
I
would
just
want
to
maybe
throw
out
there
is
that
maybe
we
can
separate
those
numbers
on
this
sheet
in
general,
just
the
catalog
versus
the
website
numbers,
and
my
main
reason
for
suggesting
that

changes

we
have
all
undergone
because
of
covid
some
of
those
are
going
to
stay.

think,
and

a
way,
we've

like
the
way
that

especially
people
use
things
like
libraries

interesting
to
see
those
numbers
separated,
because
you

there
might

a
lot
more
interaction
with
the
community
through
the
website
forever.

hugely
impacted.

looks
like
it's

pretty
consistent

couple

but

statistical
report,
is
that
something
we
can
do
this
starting
this,

given
that
we're
going
to
start
next
month
with
the
2021
numbers.

work

is
for

to
collect
the
metrics,
but
anything
you're
willing

think
I
described
what
happened
with
the
holiday
taking
makes
winter
reading
program
was
another
one.
We
just
we
promote
it
on
social
media
and
then

the
newsletter

people
in
some
cases
who
are
doing
curbside
pickup
that
had
over
100
people
registered
so
that
one
did
really
well.
That
was
an
adult
program.
The
library
newsletter
continues
to
be,
like,
I
said,
the
one
that
really
has
been
driving
engagement
with
facebook,
for
example.

that's
really
a
wonderful
thing,
because
you've
heard
me
say
before
teen
services
is
all
about
building
a
close
connection
with
a
core
group
and
then

building
from

and
I'm
so
proud

thought
it
was

with

determined

the

materials
proportionally
catching

forward

seeing

that
changes

we
reopen
the.

couple
of
new
staff
members
with
some
archival
experience
and
so
they've
kind
of
taken
lead
on
that
project
and
they
were
able
to
get
underway
in
december.
The
reclassification
is
related
to
our
local
history
materials,
which
is
like
sort
of
items
in
our
general
nonfiction
collection
that
have
a
local
history
component.
We
a
couple
years
ago
separated
those
out
physically,
but
they
were
never
re-categorized.
They
were
never
set
up
so
that
you
could.
I
They
were
searchable
by
that
category
in
the
catalog
and
that
there
is
a
sticker
that
will
be
dedicated
so
that
when
it's
very
you
know
they
they
always
end
up
back
in
the
same
spot.
Right
now
we
have
to
kind
of
notice
as
staff
members
that
they're
a
local
history
item
and
remember
to
put
in
the
right
spot.
It's
you
know
not
we're
not
always
perfect
about
that.

that's

2021,

couple

focus

things

important

one

restoring
library
services.

described
here

basically
public
health
guidelines.
The
library
store
will
restore
services,
including
checkout,
internet
access,
meeting
and
study
rooms
and
in-person
programming.

Introducing
new
services.
We
want
to
introduce
the
dedicated
team
space,
the
av
recording
studio,
we've
discussed
public,
a
publicly
accessible,
anglewood
history
archive
to
me,
those
materials
that
we
have
should
be
something
where
we
have
a.
We
have
them
cataloged
in
such
a
way
that
the
public
knows
what
we
have
and
that
we
have
way
of
a
way
of
providing
access
to
it.
You
know
some
some
of
that
stuff
will
be
more.
That
would
be
better
suited
to
being
put
on
display.
I
You
know
just
just
old
objects,
but
some
of
it
is
you
know,
photos
and
and
and
text,
and
things
that
somebody
who's
doing.
Some
research
might
want
to
be
able
to
dig
through,
and
it's
not
doing
anyone
any
good,
just
in
boxes
in
a
back
room
relatively
accessible,
so
improving
service
to
our
homebound
patrons
is
something
that's
really
important
to
us.

Previously,
delivery
services
relied
on
a
very
informal
system
and
and
volunteers
to
do
all
the
delivering
and,
and
it
was
kind
of
just
if
we
had
a
delivery
to
make,
we
would
try
to
find
a
volunteer
who
could
do
it
and
it
was
rather
ad
hoc
in
every
instance.
So
we
we
have
staff
who've
been
coming
up
with
a
much
more
formal
process.
I
We
just
got
some
like
bright
green
bags
to
make
it
very
obvious
if
it's
angled
library
materials,
the
thought
being
to
just
try
to
make
that
as
as
like
no
contact
as
possible,
certainly
for
the
next
few
months.
We
were
you
know
for,
however
long
into
the
year.
It
is
that
that
remains
a
top
priority,
and
we
also
want
to
expand
on
not
just
doing
library,
materials,
delivery,
but
doing
crafts
take
and
makes
things
that
are
like
some
sort
of
sort
of
cognitive
engagement
activities.
I
That
sort
of
thing,
so
that's
a
real
priority
for
a
subset
of
the
team
and
and
everything
I'm

really

promising
improving

homeschooling

we've
talked

that
a
lot,

I
know
that
after
that
conversation
started,
we
really
found
that
one
of
our
children's
associates
suzanne
felt
very
passionate
about
it
and
was
really
enthusiastic
about
supporting
it.
She
and
kimberly
attended
some
trainings
on
it.

We
did
put
together
the
materials
resource
that's
listed
on
the
website
now,
but
they
want
to
go
further,
so
outreach
community
groups
continuing
to
create
materials,
listed
online
resources
and
then
offering
dedicated
programming
around
that.
We
don't
know
what
the
long-term
trends
will
be
with.
You
know
everyone
having
tried
out
remote
learning
and
probably
a
lot
of
people.

know
we
know
a
lot
of
families
have
tried
homeschooling
for
the
first
time
under
present
circumstances,
and
you
know
we
would
really
want
to
if
that
continues
to
be
something
that
people
in
the
community
are
interested
in,
exploring
that
we
continue
to
that,
we
do.
We
find
ways
to
support
it,
better,
improving
our
online
services.
You
know,
obviously,
we
we're
gonna
be
launching
a
new
website.

know
we
want,
for
example,
it's
possible
to
set
it
up
so
that
the
system
we
use
to
reserve,
study
and
meeting
rooms
would
be
visible,
would
be
sort
of
open
to
the
public
early
on,
in
kerb
said,
when
we
were
asking
people
to
make
appointments,
we
were
actually
using
the
same
software
that
you
would
use
just
to
book,
study
rooms
or
meeting
rooms
in
the
library,
but
it's
just
something
we
never
had
opened
that
up
to
the
public.

by
choice,
but

think
we
it's

a
much
more
self-service
economy
right
now
and

think
we
can.
We
can
explore
messing
with

that
stuff
and
then
making
sure
that
program
registration

user-friendly

summer,
reading,

sort

thing
and
then
finally
promoting
the
library
once
we
are
back
open
and
in
particular
we
want
to
be
promoting
our
services.

connects

promotions,
print

finding
ways

actually
connect
with
the
community
that
we
serve
and
really
target
local.
