circulation
there,

people
are
putting
holds

were
grabbing
two
or
three
items
and
that's
great

it's
kids
definitely,
even
though
we're
offering
curbside,
where
we're
seeing
a
lot
of
traffic
on
that
at
this
point
in
fact,
start
at
you

it's
really
really
picked
up,
but
we're
not
we're,
probably
not
going
to
see
anything
or
even
close
to
the
kind
of
circulation
of
physical
materials
that
we
saw
before
you
know
men
under
normal
circumstances,
so
the
one
that
I
think
is
really
interesting.
There
is
the
digital
materials.

last
time
we
talked
you
all
were
interested
in
what
was
going
on
with
the
you
know,
streaming
and
downloads
the
circulation
of
that
stuff
during
the
code
closure,
because
you
would
expect
it,
you
know
people
aren't
able
to
leave

house.
They
would
probably
be
you
know,
especially
with
before
we
were
even
offering
curbside
when
there's
no
other
way
to
access
library.
Materials
seems
like.
Naturally
your
intuition
would
be
that
people
would,
you
know,
be
seeking
out
these
digital
materials
more,
but
the
statistics
didn't
seem
to
indicate
that
was
what
was
going
on.

we
broke
it
out
to
explain
what
we're
seeing
here.
You
don't
you
see
who
blog,
which
is
one
of
our
downloads,
the
movie
apps,
that
offers
you
know
audiobooks
and
able
access
or
a
thing,
almost
doubled
circulation,
canopy,
the
streaming
movies,
documentaries
and
independent
films
platform
had
a
pretty
decent.
You
know
a
decent
increase
year-over-year
in
plays
same
thing
with
zinnia,
which
is
magazines
and
tumble
books
is
really
our
anomaly
here.
So
the
way
yeah.
Sorry,
let

you
can
see
the
numbers.

Application
it's
web-based
and
there
are,
there
are
apps
as
well,
and
what
this
is
is
something
that
the
library
pays
for
alongside
Anglet
public
schools,
and
so
the
schools
use
this
really
heavily
in
the
classroom.
I
think
it's
about
it.
I
want
to
say
it's
two
thousand
dollars
a
year
and
the
library
pays
five
hundred
dollars
of
that,
and
so
because
we're
paying
for
a
quarter
of
the
total
cost.

take
we
statistically
kind
of
give
ourselves
credit
for
a
quarter
of
the
total
circulation
because
it's
available
to
library
patrons,
as
well
as
the
students
in
schools.
But
of
course
most
of
the
the
usage
is,
is
coming
from
what

kids
are
in
the
classrooms,
so
that
made
2019
number
there
that
1700.

was
actually
four
times
that
it
was
actually
between
six
and
seven
thousand
circulations,
and
so
really,
with
the
schools
closed
tumbleBooks,
you

circulation
completely,
disappears
and
drags
everything
and
drags
out
the
overall

so,
at
the
end
of
the
day
you
end
up
with
these
numbers,
the
you
know

streaming:
that's

between

the

range
and
it
seems
like
there's,
hardly
been
any
movement.

lots

libraries

seeing
at
beat

hear

experience

We've
been
trying,

community
updates

Facebook

our
website,
into
the
newsletter
to
really
keep
hammering
home
the
idea.
We
have
these
instantly
available
with
resources.

think
this
stuff's
really
important,
and
it's
where
a
lot
of
library
circulation
is
gonna,
go
in
the
coming
years
and
I
want
to
make
sure
that
our
service
offerings
are
as
strong
as
they
can
be,
and
also,
as
it's
just
easy
to
navigate.

think
this.
You
know,
there's
so
many
different
applications
and
it's
all
just
a
little
less
user
friendly
than
you
know.
The
commercial
products
are
but
I
think
anything
we
could
do
to
just
help.
Keep
that
stuff
simple
for
people.

was
really
great.

we're

statistics

library

the

At

year

programs,

few
children's
programs.
These
are
virtual
programs,
we're
estimating
a
lot
of
the
attendance
based
on
the
video
streams,
so
as
people
are
tuning
in
to
watch
the
virtual
programs
and
also
we're
estimating
it
partly
based
on
the
make
intakes.

So
basically,
the
children's
team
is
putting
together,
take
and
make
packages
of
like
a
little
project
that
the
family
can
do.
The
kids
can
do
and
then
people
are
coming
up
and
picking
those
up
via
curbside
pickup,
and
it's
with.
We
can't
perfectly
capture
how
many
people
are
participating
in
the
virtual
programs.

young
adult
program
was
also
streaming.
Those
programs
were
also
virtual,
alexia
meetings,
that
sort
of
thing,
and
then
we
did
have
two
adult
programs,
including
our
first
return
to
normalcy
of
a
sort,
an
in-person
book
club
that
took
place
on
the
on
the
plaza
there,
where
the
grass
is
they
gathered,
lawn
chairs,
they
put
on
masks
and
they
socially
distanced,
and
they
talked
about
a
book.
So
that
was
kind
of
kind
of
fun
to
see.

still
kind

waiting,

one
of
the
upcoming
updates
will
be
about
like
what
the
state
guidance
has
been
for
libraries,
it's
been
remarkably
restrictive,
and
so
right
now
that
the
kids
age
programs

we're

enquiring
about
what
we
can
do,
though
safely.

we're
looking
at

been
trying
to
be

sure
you've

observed
we're

lot
more
active
on
Facebook
than
we
were
before.

feel
like
every
time,

open,
Facebook
now
Kimberly

there

it's
great
we're

strategic
about
not
overwhelming
the
community,
where
you
know
anyone
who's
following
us
on
Facebook
with
just
endless
you
know,
and
let's
children's
stuff
or
analysts
and
endless.
If
anything,
that's
too
much
the
same,
and
so
we
we
put
together
a
staff
team
to
kinda
have
come
up
with
some
of
the
strategies.

we
think
about
how
we
approach
Facebook,
how
I
approach
Goodreads
and
a
couple
other
platforms
that
may
be
a
value
and
then
our
website,
of
course,
is
central
to
all
this
right
now
the
library
has
since
I've,
been
aware
of
Englewood
library
always
used
angle.
A
marmot
org
is
its
primary
URL,
which
is
actually
the
library
catalog.
So
if
you
get
a
library
card,
what's
printed
on,
there
is

not
not
the
website
that
has
information
about
events,
not
the
website
that

information
about
like
where
the
library
is
and
what's
going
on
at
the
library
or
that
has
you
know,
information
about
how
to
use
the
downloadable
resources.
It's
just
the
catalog,
and
so
that's
something
we'd
like
to
rethink
at
some
point.
It
would
be
nice
to
have.
We
know

How
do
I
put

We
know
the
number
one
reason
that
most
people
visit
a
library's
website
is
to
use
the
catalog
search,
and
so
it
makes
sense
that
that's
your
that's
your
primary
activity.
That's
why
we've
always
advertised
that
URL.
But
of
course,
most
libraries
websites
wouldn't
have
what
you
do.
Is
you
go
and
you
visit
and
they
have
catalog
search
right
there.

It's
usually
just
a
search
widget
or
if
you
start
searching
for
something
it
bumps
you
away
from
the
actual
website
over
to
the
catalog
page,
but
while
make
the
visit
there
to
that
front
page,
what
you
see
is
what
sort
of
the
upcoming
events,
what
what
is
it
pieces
of
information?
The
library
wants
to
tell
you
about,
and
so
that's
a
real
opportunity.
Every
time
you
get
a
web
visitor
to
just
remind
them
about
the
things
going
on
the
library,
so
we'd
like
to
design
a
website
that
works
that
way.

the
problem
is
our
currently
we're
currently
limited.
We
can't
have
a
search
widget
on
our
website,
so
we're
a
couple
of
our
staff
and
I
have
joined
the
website
committee
for
the
city
as
they
look
at
doing
things
like
creating
an
events
microsite
and
doing
web
website
redesign
for
the
city,
which
is
going
to
be
discussed
in
the
future.

curbside
I
have
two
questions,
one
when
making
holds
on

it.
This
might
be
incorrect,
but
it
feels
like

available

our
library
and
then
it's
not
and
I'm.
Just
wondering

anything
happening

the
inner
library
thing,

streamline

just
getting
books
from
our
library
now,

shut
down
for

doing

ton
of
business
because
they
do
a
lot
of

delivery
used
to

medical,
centers
and
hospitals
and
places
like

the
same
courier
service
that
we
use,
but,
as
only
you

as
libraries
start
to
come
back
online
or
come
back.
You

Toto
reopening
in
various
phases,
whether
it's
curbside
or
in
some
places
the
kinds
of
receive
variances,
whether
it's
in
person
we're
able
to
make
a
request
through
click,
the
consortium
that
manages
the
courier
service
for
libraries
in
Colorado
and
say
we're
ready
to
go
we're
ready
to
receive
items
again,
we're
ready
to
have
courier
deliveries.

know
come
and
take
stuff
and
takes
up
off
our
hands,
but
then
click
is
making
the
decision
based
on
their
contract
with
Western
states,
because
what
from
western
states
perspective
they
want
to
get
paid
all
right.
So
they
want
to
make
sure
that
they're
not
just
like
talking.
You
know,
running
items
between
Englewood
and
then
drive
headed
all
the
way
out
to
the
western
slope.

they
need
to
be
able
to
hit
the
stops
along
the
way

that
to
make
sense
for
them,

so
it's
as
various
libraries
kind
of
just
volunteer
like
hey
we're
ready
to
go
again.

aware

we're

curbside
pickup
now
for
library
holds
we've
also
started
offering
pickup
for
print
jobs.
If
people
submit
as
a
remote
printing
website
that
you
could
log

you

home,
you

send
a
print
job
to
our
printers
at
the
library
and
we're
printing
out
25
pages
black
and
white
or
10
pages
of
color
per
user
for
free
during
this.

But
what
happened
was
the
state
on
about
mayanna,

but
to
put
out
an
order?
An
amendment
to
the
safer
at
home
executive
order
that
limited
libraries
to
curbside
pickup
drive-thru
services,
you

walk
up
Windows,
that
sort
of
thing.
Basically,
anything
you
can
circulate
physical
materials,
but
you
can't
allow
people
into
the
facility,
and
so
when
the
safer
at
home
order
was
extended
through
July
1st
called
a
state
library.

Let
us
slowly
let
all
the
library,
management,
managers
and
directors
know.
So
that
means
is,
unless
you
have
received
a
variance.
Your
county
has
received
a
variance
and
libraries
are
specifically
called
out
as
something
they
can
come
back
into.
You
know
normal
operations
to
that
we're
limited
to
curbside
or
to
walk
up
or
that
sort
of
thing,
and
so
right
now,
that's
where
we're
at,
where
we're
on
hold
until
July
1st,
we're
obviously
planning
for
what
the
next
phase
of
reopening
is
going
to
be
and
we're
certainly
thinking
about
these
sort
of
competing
needs.

know
we
know,
we
know
the
community
really
needs
the
library.
It's
certainly
weighing
on
me
pretty
heavily
right
now
that
there's
a
lot
of
people
out
there
who
need
access
to
computers
need
access.
The
internet
don't
have
it
at
home
and
it's
a
major
resource
in
their
lives
and
they're,
probably
people
who
are
being
hit
harder
by
the
current
state
of
the
economy
than
most
others,
and
but
we
also
know
that
when
we
reopen,
we
have
to
be
really
cautious
about
staff
safety
and
the
safety
of
our
users.

So
if
we
do-
and
we
would
like
to
we'll-
probably
need
to
do
things
like
put
a
cap
on
the
number
of
people
who
come
into
the
library
at
any
given
time,
because
otherwise,
if
we're
the
only
library,
that's
open
in

metro
area,
we
don't
know
what
the
volume
of
traffic
is.
Gonna
look
like
and
then
you
risk

then
that
would
probably
be
inconsistent
with
whatever
guidance
we
get
from
the
health
department.

Speculating
and
I'm
actually
this
kind
of
secondhand
speculation,
because
that
question
was
presented
to
some
of
the
commissioners
for
Colorado
State
Library,
and
they
felt
that
what
it
actually
reflects
is
that
this
is
good,

similar

guidance.
That's
been
received
for
educational
institutions
and
so,
like
I,
think
the
Carter
Department
of
Education
and
the
Carter
State
Library,
share,
building
and
I
think
from
the
state
government's
perspective
is
kind
of
like
okay.
What
are
we
doing
to
follow
the
educational
stuff?

something
I
know:
we've
talked
a
little
bit
about
before
in
the
past.
There's
a
lot
of
uncertainty
about
schools
next
year
and
I
thought
it
would
be
a
good
time
to
bring
it
up
more
formally
and
this
arctic

had
wanted
to
share
this
article,
mainly
because
it
shows
what
libraries
have
already
been
doing.
Unfortunately,
a
lot
of
libraries
in
the
Denver
area
are
not
targeting
home,
schoolers
and
I.

Think
there's
a
huge
opportunity
for
the
England
library
to
pick
up
some
of
that
slack
and
there's
a
huge
homeschool
population
and
the
Denver
metro
and
we're
so
centrally
located.
We
already
have
a
lot
of
the
resources
that
home
scores
are
looking
for,
I
think
it's
just
a
matter
of
reaching
out
to
them
and
starting
that
relationship,
because
I
think
we
could
have
a
lot
more
patrons
a
lot
more
programs,
the
teen
programs,
a
lot
of
the
kids
who
go
to
those
are
from
the
homeschool
community
and
it's
pretty
easy
to
network
within
that
community.

lot
of
people
are
on
Facebook,
so
sharing
things
on
the
library
Facebook
page
would
really
help
to
spread
the
word,
because
that
I
know
that
there's
a
lot
of
homeschoolers
in
who
live
in
Inglewood,

look

angle,
wood
library
website?
Who
would
share
that
with
their
groups
and
network?
That
way,
another
option
is
the
parks.
The
Recreation
Center
has
had
a
homeschool
swim
lesson.

That's
been
going
on
for
at
least
since
my
oldest
was
little
I
know
that
there
was
a
mom
in
it
who
went
to
it
when
she
was
a
kid.
So
it's
a
really
long
time
and
it's
very
popular
so
I
think
there's
opportunity
to
partner
with
the

think
it's
Kay
Wallace
at
the
Rec
Center,
who
runs
that
to
get
some
names
when
we
went
to
it
most
of
the
people
who
were
attending
lived
either
in
Inglewood
or
just
right
outside
of
Inglewood

know
that
we
have
a
lot
of
our
regular
attendees
of
story
times
and
programs,
and
that
sort
of
thing
our
families
at
home
school,
and
that
we
already
have
a
relationship
with
a
lot
of
these
families,
but
that
there's
probably
opportunity
to
do
more
to
provide
specific
services,
and
there
were
she
expressed
a
little
bit
of
ambivalence
around
the
balance
of.
Does
it
make
sense
to
offer
a
program,
that's
specific,
to
two
families
at
home
school,
or
does
it
make
more
sense
to
offer
a
program?

homeschooling,

families

already
making

significant
financial
sacrifices

homeschool

for

takes

that

burdensome

looking
for
free
things
to
do,
and

think.

homeschool
community
is
definitely
a
group
that

want
to
get
in
the
groove
of
using
the
library,
because
they'll
they'll
be
lifetime
users.

their
kids
learn
to
teach
themselves
and
the
library's
fabulous.
For
that.

don't
I
mean
what
I
know
about
Facebook
is
don't
talk,
politics
put
pictures
of
my
grandchildren
up
right,
but
if,
like
on
Facebook,
if
the
library
were
to
like
these
homeschool
group
pages
with
the
library's
post,
then
start
showing
up
for
those
groups,
would
they
be
more
likely
to
see
library
events

it's
a
lot

a
more

a
marketing
problem

anything

about
making
increasing
the
awareness

what
we
offer
rather

inventing

of
programs,
if
you
think
of
materials,
anything
like
that,
that
would
benefit
this
community

think
we'd
be
very
interested,
but

it's
what

hearing
is
that

really
should
be
focusing
on
promoting
this
stuff,

specifically

materials

first-come,
first-serve
and

to
pickleball
and
tennis
they're
open
for
drop-in
play

we're
starting
to
slowly
reopen

pirate's,
cove
and
farm

odd

library
doesn't
