live
over
close
to
bates
logan
park
and
it's
an
exciting
time
for
inglewood.
I
work
downtown
on
the
aurea
higher
education
center
campus.
I
work
for
the
state
agency
that
manages
all
the
the
shared
space.
I'm
not
one
of
those
specific
universities
working
event
services,
I'm
the
assistant
director
of
events
there
prior
to
moving
out
to
colorado.
I
worked
for
the
parks
and
recreation
department
for
the
city
of
oath
allen,
missouri
within
the
tourism
and
festivals
department.

been
the

I
don't
know
a
couple
years
now
and
I've
been
on
the
commission
for
probably
going

nine
years.
Maybe
I've
been
an
inglewood
resident
about
12
years
and
we
moved
to
colorado
in
2010
and
ended
up
in
inglewood
and
have
have
remained
in
town
outside
of
doing
this.

for
the
national
park
service
as
an
environmental
planner,
and
I've
been
doing
that
for
20
years
or
so
so
involved
peripherally
with
the
kinds
of
issues
that
we
deal
with
all
the
time
here.

know
for

an
urban
parks
and
rec
commission
so
nice
to
meet
you
and
welcome
aboard
who
wants
to
go
next.

been
on
the
commission,
I
guess
for
four
years
now

I
just
we
signed
up
for
another

I've

englewood

2013,
I
think,

I'm
also
near
bates
logan
park.
So
we're
probably
neighbors-
and
you
know
just
love
being
on
the
commission
and
helping
out
and
doing
things
for
the
community
off
each
dogs.

is
my
favorite
subject
of
all
time,
other
than
that
in
my
professional
life.

I
have
been
on
the
commission,
for
I
think
about
five
years
or
so
since
2015,
but
I
also
went
to
college
here
and
I
interned
with
the
city
manager
of
englewood,
so
it
was
time
to
move
back.
I
knew
that
this
is
where
it
was
going
to
be.
I
was
with
denver
parks
and
recreation
as
a
partnership
and
volunteer
manager
for
over
six
years
and
then
recently
the
denver
zoo
and
I'm
the
director
of
community
and
government
relations
so
yeah.

inglewood

gosh
34
years
now.
I've
been
on
the
parks
and
rec
commission.
For
the
last
18
years
I
got
on
when
I
was
elected.
I
served
on
the
board
of
education
for
inglewood
schools
for
two
terms.
So
eight
years
my
real
job
is
a
nurse.
I've
been
trying
to
retire
for
them
for
the
last
year,
but
with
a
nursing
shortage.
They
keep
guilting
me
to
come
back
in
and
pick
up
extra
shifts.
So.

inglewood
resident
since
1977
so
been
here

a
while.

have
been
on
parks
and
rec
commission,
since
the
late
90s
currently
serving
as
council
liaison,
so
I'm
also
on
city
council
to
make
a
living

in
commercial,
real
estate,
leasing,
office
space
and
managing
office
buildings.

explain
the
mali
center
trust
fund
is
what
that
stands
for
and
being
that
council
member
woodward
was
elected
to
council.
He
is
no
longer
the
official
serving
member
from
this
commission,
but
he
does
serve
on
the
maui
trust
fund.
Still
as
our
council
liaison
and
so
part
of
the
mali
center
trust
fund
is
to
have
a
liaison
from
the
parks
and
recreation
commission
serving
on
it.
Since
it's
one
of
our
centers,
so
the
commission
meets
you
know,
the
trust
fund
meets
the
first
monday.
It
is
a
quarterly
meeting.

trying
to

nursing
shortage

because

let's
face
facts:
I'm
the
only
person

the
board
that's
over

so.

can't
get
away

topic.

so
we
did
install
the
fence
over
at
duncan
park
and
we
have
signage
up.
We
have
been
doing
some
social
media
marketing
through
walter
wednesday's
our
little
dog
friend
who
likes
to
be
positive
about
our
off-leash
program
and
share
updates
and
so
duncan,
is
installed
and
jason
we're
waiting
to
get
the
quote
back
the
end
of
next
week
and
we
have
asked
the
contractors
that
are
quoting
to
only
quote
if
they
can
install
before
the
end
of
february.

So
it
may
extend
a
little
into
march
just
depending
on
if
they
can
get
the
fence
and
all
those
other
things.
But
it's
definitely
in
progress.
We
do
have
the
temporary
fences
up
and
they
will
remain
up
until
may
unless
we
have
a
warm
next
few
months
and
the
grass
and
turf
and
everything
recovers
nicely
and
greens
up
quickly.
So
as
soon
as
we're
out
of
snow
conditions
or
potential
snow,
we'll
start
working
on
the
turf
out
there.

The
guys
were
ready
to
get
somebody
in
to
give
quotes
on
the
fence
at
jason,
but
I
went
back
and
did
a
review
and
we
had
a
design
done
which
only
came
to
90
construction
document
ready.
So
I
had
to
talk
to
the
company
this
week
the
design,
firm
and
they're
supposed
to
have
the
design
completed
and
to
me
by
tomorrow,
and
then
we'll
put
it
out
for
fence
companies
to
bid.
I
wanted
to
make
sure
that
it
was
built
to
our
specifications.

It's
that
time
everything
seems
to
be
going
slow
or
slower
than
you
would
like
it.
They
are
american
civil
is
to
be
putting
up
a
construction
fence
this
week.
I
don't
believe
it's
gone
in,
yet
we
hit
another
little
snag
there.
We
have
to
get
an
environmental
engineer
out
to
look
at
the
restroom
and
the
picnic
pavilion,
because
the
city
will
not
issue
a
permit
for
demolition
until
we
have
certification
that
there's
no
asbestos
out
there,
so
that's
kind
of
slowed
things
down.

are
working
on
getting
the
restroom
ordered,
which
is
really
critical,
because
that's
a
12
week
process
as
it
is
now
so
we've
been
back
and
forth
on
that.
The
big
issue
are
the
the
screens.
As
you
come
out
of
the
the
restrooms
themselves,
I
wanted
to
have
them
without
screens.
They
won't
make
them
that
way
anymore.
So
we've
been
back
and
forth
on
whether
to
put
in
a
full
screen
or
a
half
screen,
which
is
about
three
and
a
half
feet
tall.

cushing
baker
and
centennial
renovations
of
what
we're
talking
about
just
so
you
all
know
on
tuesday
next
tuesday,
the
15th
from
5
30
to
6
30
pm
we're
going
to
have
a
public
meeting
via
zoom
for
baker
park
renovations
to
get
feedback
from
the
baker
park.
Neighborhood
we
did
put
out
400
door
hangers
that
had
a
qr
code
as
well
as
a
website
posted
on
them.
So
those
residents
were
all
notified
about
the
meeting,
so
they
can
see.
What
updates
we
have.

give
some
feedback
baker
park
will
be
the
last
park
that
gets
renovated
and
again,
there's
some
supply
chain
issues
with
getting
parts,
and
so
baker
park
will
be
the
last
one.
So
we
have
some
time
to
make
some
adjustments
if
some
of
the
residents
have
comment
on
that
and
if,
if
you're
curious
and
seeing
the
designs
inglewood
engaged,
if
you
just
google
it
or
go
to
the
wayne
main
website,
you
can
find
it
through
that
as
well.

are
posting
our
park
updates
the
the
schematics
for
the
parks,
what
it
might
look
like
the
cartoon
drawings
for
the
design
and
where
things
are
going
to
be
located,
and
so
people
can
look
at
those
make
comment
if
they

we
are.

monitoring
that
as
well
and
then
dave
I'll.

part
of
the
elements
of
the
skate
park,
so
we're
hoping
the
skaters
like
it
and
like
the
elements
that
are
being
proposed
and
just
a
reminder:
cushing's
gonna
get
the
new
skate
park.

fitness
court.
We're
really
excited
about
our
recreation
staff
is
excited
to
start
doing
some
classes
out
there
once
that's
installed
a
new
picnic,
shelter,
a
new
restroom
and
in
this
park,
that's
just
part
of
the
renovations
we'll
have
plenty
more
to
do.

You
have
to
step
over
a
curb
to
actually
access
the
park,
and
so
the
walking
path
will
go
in
a
picnic,
shelter,
restroom,
a
brand
new
playground,
a
new
irrigation
system
which
we're
excited
about
probably
no
one
else,
but
that's
really
going
to
greatly
help.
We
are
preserving
all
the
trees
in
the
park
and
planting
some
new
ones
too.

So
we'll
green
up
that
park
quite
a
bit
here
in
the
next
year
and
then
centennial
park
is
down
on
the
southwest
side
of
the
park,
we'll
be
getting
a
new
restroom,
a
new
picnic,
shelter
and
a
really
cool
new
playground,
along
with
some
ada
parking
spots,
handicapped
parking
spots.
So
we're
excited
for
this.
It's
not
happening
like
dave,
said
it's
snail's
pace.
We
want
all
this
to
be
done
yesterday,
but
we're
being
patient
just
exciting
things
to
come.
So
just
a
quick
update
too.

In
addition
to
park
renovations,
we
are
looking
at
the
2023
potential
bond
pitch
for
parks
and
recreation
and
we
are
working
with
logan
simpson,
who
did
our
2017
master
plan
to
do
a
mid-plan
update
and
get
some
more
schematics
done
of
our
parks
that
need
to
be
renovated.
So
people
can
see
if
the
bond
passes
kind
of,
maybe
what
to
expect.

won't
be
the
final,
but
at
least
give
everyone
a
visual
of
what
could
be
of
of
some
of
our
parks
and
then
also
looking
at
pirates,
cove
updates
and
the
rec
center
right
now
we're
not
touching
mali
with
it,
but
the
rec
center.
We're
looking
at
the
aquatic
side
doing
something
fun
over
there,
where
it
may
have
some
more
annual
use
for
like
a
flow
rider,
which
is
a
wave
simulator
you
can
surf
on.

may
not
be
exactly
the
flowrider
there's
quite
a
other,
a
few
other
products
out
there
and
some
other
larger,
slides
and
a
hot
tub.
You
got
it.

love
it.
That's
perfect!
That's
what
we
need
to
hear,
though
you
know,
as
we
go
through
the
bond,
we
want
people
to
get
excited
and
we
may
not
be
able
to
do
everything
but
definitely
doing
upgrades
where
people
get
excited
to
go,
get
into
our
parks
and
visit
the
rec
center
and
pirates
cove
down
the
road.

the
most
exciting
thing
is
the
mass
mandate
has
been
lifted,
and
so
we
are
allowing
staff
to
use
personal
choice
if
they
want
to
wear
a
mask
or
not
when
they're
inside
facilities
or
working
some
are
still
choosing
to
wear
masks.
We
are
not
requiring
the
public
to
so.
If
you
go
to
the
rec
center
and
work
out,
it's
your
choice.
If
you
want
to
wear
one
or
not,
it
is
nice
to
see
the
numbers
dropping
but
still
out
there
so
be
careful.
So
that's

do
a
little
bit
of
an
update
to
add
on
to
what
christina
said.
I
met
this
morning
with
our
construction
contractor
eci
out
at
cushing
park,
and
we
are
not
able
to
enlarge
the
skate
park
like
we
would
have
liked
to.
It
will
stay
with
the
original
design
just
because
of
the
increased
cost
and
the
time
delay
in
enlargement.

We're
still
looking
at
putting
a
perimeter
band
of
concrete
on
the
north
and
the
east
side,
where
we
think
that
there
will
be
a
lot
of
wear
and
tear
in
that
turf
that
they
had
scheduled
to
go
in
there
and
then,
where
some
of
those
openings
in
the
skate
park
are
will
end
up
putting
some
railing
in
there
as
well.
But
the
concrete
will
be
sloped
down,
because
the
skate
part
will
actually
be
elevated
instead
of
going
into
the
ground
and
creating
a
lot
of
overburden
they're,
actually
building
it
up.

What
do
you
want
to
call
it?
The
the
money
in
2023
from
the
bond
we
decided
that
bates
logan
probably
was
the
next
part
that
was
worthy
of
some
major
redo
there.
So
we're
right
now
doing
a
whole
park
plan
for
a
renovation
and
with
this
year
we're
going
to
write
a
grant
somewhere
between
350
and
500
000
to
redo
the
picnic
shelter
in
the
restroom
and
some
of
the
concrete
paths.

So
that
will
be
phase
one
and
then,
as
we
move
forward
with
the,
if
we
can
keep
the
bond
money
and
keep
that
going,
then
we'll
renovate
the
rest
of
the
park,
but
for
right
now,
it'll
rely
on
a
grant
this
year,
which
we'll
know
in
august
whether
we're
successful
or
not.
The
grant
application
right
now
is
due
april
15th.
So
we're
diligently
working
on
that
and
I'd
be
happy
to
answer
any
questions.

that
one's
prefab,
the
one
that
going
in
at
jason
park,
is
two
it's
a
little
larger.
It's
two
holes
on
each
side,
rather
than
one
so
it'll,
be
a
little
bit
fancier
than
what
we
have
at
romans

same
kind
of
split
face
block
wall
skylights
in
it
all
the
other
amenities
that
you
saw
at
romans.

great
well,
there's

first
hand
account
there,
but
my
understanding
is
their
continues
to
be
an
increase
in
traffic
up
there.
I
know
that
our
park
ranger
talked
to
a
woman
who
had
her
dog
off
leash
and
wasn't
very
happy
that
jason
was
closed.
The
ranger
recommended
northwest
green
belt
and
then
happened
to
be
up
there
the
next
day
and
the
person
was
up
there
and
using
the
green
belt.
So
it
continues
to
be
popular.

The
nine
hole
senior
week
day,
increased
one
dollar
to
fifteen
dollars
and
then,
as
far
as
eighteen
hole
increases
a
weekday,
a
three
dollar
increase
to
33
dollars,
18
hole
weekend,
three
dollar
increase
to
42
and
an
18
hole.
Senior
weekday
increased
one
dollar
to
sixteen
dollars,
so
those
were
all
of
the
golf
course
increases
for
this
year's
this
year.
Everything
else
stayed
the
same.
