Cochino Taco was created by owner Johnny Ballen because he saw a need for a fun taqueria in Englewood. Cochino Taco has remained open during the pandemic. Ballen's secret to remaining in business has been to adapt to change.

Hello inglewood, uh my name is johnny ballen, I'm the owner of cochino taco, here on the corner of south downing and old hampden uh we've been in business for four years. At the end of this. At the end of august, I've lived in englewood for 15 16 years now.

So that's why I kind of saw a little need to have fun little taqueria and we appreciate all your support. We've been open the entire time during the pandemic, and the takeout has been great and same with the chico. Margaritas they've been fantastic.

You know it's not the strongest nor the most intelligent that survive. It's the the ones that are most adaptable to change, and we made a lot of changes to make this work and keep our doors open and keep uh englewood fed and we've got the single wood um and also, I think, for thank you for all your support.

We are going to do seven hour, happy hours every day from 11 to 6, passing the savings on you for all your support that you've, given my staff and myself to keep this business running in a great little corridor here in.
