of

We
have
always
done
a
event

spring

egg
hunt
holiday

lot

has
just
been
at
the
park

I
work
very
closely
with
lindsey
peterson
who
has
done
traditionally
done
that
event.
We
talked
about
because
we
spend
not
much
time
setting
up
for
it
and
then
the
tear
down
to
maybe
combine

two
events.

we
can
have
the
festivities
in
the
morning
and
then
people
can
stay
if
they
like
and
enjoy
the
market.
The
markets
are
brand
new
from
last
year,
so
it's
kind
of
a
new
event.
So
what
you
can
expect
is,
if
you
want
to
be
part
of
the
egg
hunt
it's
going
to
be
in
the
morning
and
then
during
that
time
and
then
for
out
for
a
few
hours
after
that
event
has
concluded,
is
going
to
be
a
market
where
it's
going
to,
hopefully
be
local
vendors
that
may
be
doing
selling
baked
goods.

might
be
talking
about
planting,
they
might
be
selling
seeds
or
treating
pot
holders,
you
name
it,
and
then
there
might
be
some
business
vendors
there.
Also
that
are
talking
about
different
things.
I
know
craig
hospital
is
the
large
sponsor
of
ours,
and
I'm
hoping
that
many
of
the
boards
and
commissions
and
special
groups
in
inglewood
will
be
also
at
the
events
and
then,
of
course,
it's
always
a
good
opportunity.

spring
event

then
in
may
is
celebrate
englewood,
and
that
is
this
will
be
the
second
year
for
celebrate
inglewood.

takes
place
over
at
the
inglewood
police
department
on
elatti
street
and
we
use
the
denny
miller
field
parking
lot,
and
that
is
a
touch,
a
truck
type
of
activity.
It's
super
fun.
It's
exactly
what
it
says
celebrate
inglewood.
We
invite
all
of
the
different
departments-
boards
commissions
special
groups,
service
clubs,
anyone
that
does
anything
in
inglewood
to
be
a
part
of
that
event,
and
then
we
have.
The
streets.

can
definitely

meet

and
it

coming

events

introduce

the
boards
and
commissions

departments

sustainability

planted

those
nice

all

knew

it.

regular
citizen,
I

need
to
get
your
name
out
there
and
I
agree
with
joe
the
the
block
party
for
sure
in
the
celebrate
englewood,
which
I'm
not
did
she
say,
that's
new.

started
last
year
and
it
was,

was
pretty
heavily
attended.
There
were
a
lot
of
people
there
and
there
and
that's
the
purpose
of
it
is-
is
to
have
booths
of
city
commissions
and
departments.
That's

them

people
to
what
inglewood
has
going
on
yeah

so
even
more
so
than
the
block
party.
Perhaps
it's
that's
where,
where
you
really
get
some
good
advertising
done
for
absolutely
what
the
commission

up

within
the
last
four
five

transitioned
to
the
sustainability
commission

We
presence

key

I
think

mike's
point

the
course

next

should
really
bring
in
our
priorities
because
within
the
city's
plan,
it's
a
it's
an
exhaustive
list.
So

think
it's
really
putting
our
heads
together
and
identifying
some
actionable
items
here
in
the
near
future,
really
to
really
drill.

a
really
quick
introduction
to
the
process
and
then
try
it
over
to
mel
to
kind
of
walk
through
it,

so
so,
basically
in
june
of
20th
well
before

june,

june

2020
council,
I
think
held
a
few
different
or
at
least
one
major
kind
of
event,
a
retreat
to
basically
start
the
development
of
a
strategic
plan.
So
in
the
summer
of
2020
that
strategic
plan
was
created,
it
had
seven
of
what
we're
referring
to
as
outcome
areas
or
themes.

Sustainability
is
one
of
them,
but
of
course,
there's
six
others.
So
everything
from
governance
to
safety
is
also
included
in
it
for
the
past
two
years
or
so
we
track
progress
on
the
plan.
Most
of
the
items
that
were
in
the
plan
currently
or
past,
I
should
say,
were
projects
they
were
one-time
projects.
We
didn't
really
have
a
lot
of
performance
metrics
and
there
were
many
many
goals
so
this
year
in
the
winter
I
would
say
in
the
fall,
we
started
kind
of
a
rethink
or
reimagining
of
the
entire
strategic
plan.

should
back
up
a
bit
and
say
the
sustainability
section
was
a
bit
light,
and
so,
when
we
started
developing
the
platform
for
a
sustainability
program,
we
walked.
We
met
with
council
multiple
times
in
the
fall
of
2020
and
winter
of
2021
and
from
those
discussions
developed
a
sustainability
plan
which.

What
I
call
a
plug-in
plan,
meaning
that
it's
a
standalone
sustainability
plan,
but
it's
also
the
sustainability
section
of
the
strategic
plan.
So
when
we
started
the
rewrite,
one
of
the
things
that
we
were
looking
to
do
was
create
a
little
bit
of
different
of
a
structure
that
had
more
performance
metrics
to
measure
how
well
the
efficiency
and
effectiveness
of
things
that
we
were
currently
doing,
as
well
as
some
outcome
metrics
and
almost
pause
there
and
say
the
outcome
metrics
that
are
in
the
plan.
Right
now,
for
sustainability
really
are
in
draft
form.

one
of
the
visions
I
think
we
had
for
this
commission
and
for
mel's
job
is
that
you
would
work
together
to
really
develop
some
really
good.

don't
know
if
I'd
say
cutting
edge,
but
in
line
at
least
with
other
cities
in

area
and
what
they're
measuring,
but
for
right
now,
they're
pretty.

guess
I
would
say
standard
or
very
beginning
metrics,
but
we
did
really
do
we
tried
to
look
at
programs
that
were
already
running.

feedback

didn't

climate
change

much
more
than
just
air
quality
and
to
maybe
address
it
in
different

needs

the

best

through

suggestions,

have

think
that
it
would
be
fine
to
remove
it

quality,

it's
peppered
throughout
other

there

there

slew

ways,
one
there's
an
asthma
comp
program
that
currently
serves
englewood
schools
and
they
help
with
doing

asthma
mitigation
and

helped
schools
reduce
80
percent

their
emergency
asthma
risk
stuff,
so
kind
of
similar
programs
to
that.
But
I
just
don't
have
the
pinpoint
right
now.
What
exactly
that
metric
would
be.

carbon
emission
tracking,
hopefully

the

this

cover

program
basically

governments

have
this
program
called
clearpath.

really
awesome,

tracking,

they

you
upgrade
your
building
codes
to
have
more
efficiency,
they
can
kind
of
put
that
in
there
and
see
your
carbon
emissions
in
the
future
going
forward
very
intuitive
to
all.

that's
an
important
tool
is
to
identify
where
we

non-functional
turf,

work

replacement

many

cities

colorado

help
homeowners
reduce
their
bills.
Basically
that

create
resilience
that
way

50
to
55
percent
of
residential
water
use
goes
to
landscapes,

replacement,
incentive
programs
everything's
optional,
but
helping
with
education
and
some
financial
incentives
would
help
people
save
a
lot
of
money
and
there's
a
state
state
bill,
and
that
would
help
fund
local
turf
replacement.

structure
is
that

on
her

projects,

part
of

program
is

basically
support
initiatives

departments

bigger,
staffs

structure

have
the
bandwidth
to
take
these
on.

the
denver
green
roof
task
force
when
they
evaluated
that
policy
and
the
conclusion
from
all
the
data
is
that
it
is
great
for
air
quality
and
storm
water,
runoff
and
pollen
and
pollinators
not
for
energy

like
squat

energy
use,
because
there's
so
much.
The
new
code
requires
so
much
insulation
in
the
roof
that
that
heat,
isn't
getting
through
dirt
was
a
really
good
insulator
in
like
pilgrim
days.

important
things
to
consider
the
city's
involvement,
not
just
to
spend
money,
but
we
landlords
don't
have
incentive
when
they
charge
their
tenants
to
pay
for
the
energy.
They
don't
have
any
incentive
to
improve

efficiencies

metrics
to
encourage
the
landlord
who's
mostly
concerned
about
cost.
