Description

If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
This
is
the
Planning
and
Development
Committee
June
22nd,
and
the
first
item
on
our
agenda
is
the
minutes
of
our
last
meeting
and
I.
Have
a
motion
I'd
like
to
take
that
move
approval,
our
second
okay?
Thank
you.
Any
Corrections
hearing,
none
all
those
in
favor,
say
aye
aye,
any
opposed
right.
First
item
of
the.
C
A
B
D
A
E
E
So
this
is
not
limited
to
any
particular
neighborhood,
so
I
want
to
first
just
think,
Deena,
Robinson
and
shorefront
for
their
hard
work
on
providing
the
historical
content
identifying
the
locations
of
significance
working
with
our
staff
Carlos,
the
Preservation
Committee,
to
get
consensus
and
an
endorsement
from
the
Preservation
Committee
to
move
forward
with
honoring
locations
across
the
city
of
historical
significance
in
the
black
community.
It's
a
very
timely
and
appropriate
action
for
us
to
take
in
the
name
of
black
lives
our
commitment
as
a
community
to
black
lives.
E
So
with
that
I'm
going
to
say
thank
you
to
Dino
Robinson.
Thank
you
to
all
of
shorefront
and
your
commitment
to
Evanston
the
work
that
you
do
is
very,
very
important.
It's
valued
many
of
our
initiatives.
We
could
not
accelerate
in
the
way
that
we
do
without
your
support
and
I'm,
hoping
that
we
can
have
an
action
of
approval
for
this
in
committee.
F
E
I
want
to
add
that
Thank
You
Audrey,
when
for
stating
that
this
is
a
living
project
that
will
be
steward
it
by
shorefront
legacy
in
partnership
with
the
city
of
Evanston.
It
will
allow
us
to
collaborate
in
potential
grant
and
funding
opportunities
for
sure
front
to
grow
and
continue
to
do
their
good
work
and
if
the
community,
because
a
community
saw
this
initial
list-
and
they
said
what
about
this
place
or
that
place,
please
do
reach
out
to
Shore
front
with
any
recommendations
that
you
have.
E
You
can
contact
me
I'm,
going
to
pass
it
along
the
shore
front
and
we
will
continue
to
grow
this.
It's
very
special
because
it
checks
a
box
on
many
of
the
comments
and
feedback
on
the
reparation
work
that
we're
doing,
and
it
also
is
an
actionable
tangible,
visible
marker
of
what
we
are
saying.
We're
committed
to
in
the
name
of
black
lives,
I'm
here
in
Evanston,
so
please
do
pass
along
those
locations.
They
don't
have
to
be
in
the
fifth
Ward.
Many
people
assume
that
it's
a
fifth
Ward
thing.
E
E
Yes,
the
Evanston
history's
thinner
actually
sent
forward
a
email
today
to
Carlos
and
Dino,
and
maybe
a
few
others
to
be
in
complete
support
of
this,
and
they
are
certainly
invited
to
be
a
partner
and
Dino
is
on
the
call.
If
you
don't
mind,
I
know
that
we
didn't
have
a
formal
presentation
set
up,
but
Dino's
had
such
ownership.
Do
you
mind
if
I
just
give
Dino
a
couple
of
minutes
to
speak
about
the
path
forward.
D
You
everyone
for
having
me
tonight,
I'm,
just
a
video
on
ok,
Here
I
am
yes,
so
this
has
been
a
project.
Actually
that's
been
long
coming.
This
had
us
roots
at
the
beginning
with
the
pitch
initiative
in
the
late
1990s,
and
we
used
utilize
that
same
program
as
the
guidelines
and
actually
spoke
to
the
original
organizers
of
the
pitch
initiative
to
look
into
what
could
be
either
a
preservation
district,
a
cultural
district
or
what
we
have
proposed
for
tonight.
E
This
initiative
actually
started
with
Wiley,
giving
me
the
support
that
was
needed
and
him
sharing
other
initiatives
and
cities
across
the
nation
and
so
that
his
the
Heritage
Sites
is
what
was
consent
this
among
those
that
are
in
support
of
this,
and
we
do
hope
that
you
I'm
looking
to
the
sights
learn
more
about
it
and
while
I
have
everyone's
attention,
if
you
haven't
been
a
short
front,
legacy
now
would
be
a
time
to
make
yourself
familiar
with
their
online
presence.
There's
a
lot
of
very
rich
and
valuable
information,
highlighting
the
black
community.
A
A
A
Thank
you.
Next
item
is
p2
ordinance,
ordinance,
64,
o
20,
granting
a
special
use
for
a
child
residential
care
home
for
boys,
hope,
girls,
hope
of
Illinois
at
8:20,
Gaffey
lace.
This
is
a
special
use.
It's
an
hour
for
a
general
residential
district.
The
applicant
has
complied
with
all
the
zoning
requirements
and
meets
the
standards
for
a
special
use
in
this
district.
This
is
for
introduction.
Tonight
comments.
Yes,
my
second
ultimate
Simmons.
This
is
the
fifth
Ward.
Yes,
yes,.
E
It
is
Thank
You,
Audrey,
Rainey,
I'm,
hoping
we
can
be
in
support
of
the
special
use.
Girls
Hope
boys
hope
are,
they
have
been
providing
for
years
live
in
services
and
the
population
participants
are
mostly
African
American
boys
and
girls
that
are
coming
from
at
risk
environments.
They
are
going
through
high
school.
They
are
graduating
this
program,
100%,
pilots,
acceptance
and
in
this
last
academic
year
the
average
of
the
participants
were
accepted
into
ten
different
colleges.
E
They
graduate
and
they
have
a
$2,500
scholarship
directly
from
girls
or
boys,
hope
and
the
organization
helps
them
fund
their
college
career
and
graduate
undergraduate
studies
with
no
student
debt.
So
this
program
is
valued.
They
have
two
homes
in
the
ward
now
I
have
visited
both
homes
with
the
rebuilding
Foundation.
When
and
did
some
improvements
there
and
I'm
hoping
that
we
can
expand
their
services
on
here
in
a
distance,
hey.
F
A
F
A
I've
been
to
several
fundraisers,
where
they're
the
people
that
it's
hard
to
call
them
children,
child
flowers,
but
then
they
they
come
and
tell
of
where
they've
been
and
where
they're
going.
The
stories
are
amazing,
so
you
know
to
have
them
in
your
neighborhood
is
to
have
a
real
prize
real
success
stories,
so
I'm
supporting
this
also
any
more
comments
or
none.
May
we
take
Oh
was
there
a
second
can
I,
second,
that
okay.
C
A
All
right,
let's
take
the
roll
all.
B
A
Nice
to
hear
from
you
alright,
this
is
a
very
similar
ordinance
that
passed
this
ordinance
6500
20,
granting
a
special
use
for
a
child
residential
care
home
for
boys,
hope,
girls,
hope
of
Illinois
at
8:24
gas
field
place,
Zoning
Board
of
Appeals,
the
city
staff
recommended
option
of
ordinance
6520
granting
the
special
use
for
boys
hope,
girls,
hope
all
the
all
requirements
are
met.
It
is
for
introduction
and
I
think
this
is
the
one
where
they're
requesting
or
F
is
suggesting
an
extension
of
the
special
use
to
an
evident
date.
