We're here today to ban peregrine falcons.

For 10 years the falcons have been nesting here. uh Nona and squawker have raised many babies in this year. They have four, so we get to bring them in find out if they're girls or boys put the bands on them and then name them.

My field work involves monitoring.

We're able to ban the chicks and those bands are unique to the individual, so we can study longevity.

And dispersal, I just love it that the animals are here that they used to be extinct, that a program like this can actually exist, and then they've made a really big difference. I think to the city of evanston and to the people here. There's many people who are very.

Feather when I walked around with the downy feather, how excited the kids were? It's wonderful.

Please keep visiting our webcam and while the babies learn how to fly, which is called fledging they'll, be with us for a few more weeks and then they will fly away. But we hope that mom and dad known as walker return next year.
