As
a
city
manager,
it's
been
a
real
pleasure
and
and
just
sad
to
see
you
leave.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
D
Put
this
next
to
my
mother's
cobwin,
she
had
a
lot
of
plaques,
my
mother,
a
whole
wall
full
of
very
distinguished
blacks.
I'm
proud
to
get
this
one.
May
I
speak
marriages
for
a
few
minutes.
Go.
D
My
last
time
that
I
won't
be
on
the
three-minute
clock,
okay,
I
said:
well,
it's
official,
I'm
not
a
public,
I'm
not
a
public,
I'm
not
politician
material.
I
can
handle
your
business
that
I
could
not
handle
the
politics.
Many
many
thanks
to
all
the
city,
employees.
Your
support
is
very
much
appreciated.
D
I
think
we
supported
one
another
making
us
good
partners
for
the
betterment
of
hollister.
One
special
thanks
goes
to
mike
chambliss
on
behalf
of
this
city,
and
me
personally,
I
just
want
to
say
thank
you
very
much
for
all
your
great
ideas
and
knowledge
and
work
ethics.
Wherever
you
go,
I
will
always
wish
the
best
for
you
as
well.
Thank
you,
mr
kevin
henderson.
For
being
my
planning,
commissioner,
you
did
a
good
job
on
the
planning
commission.
You
were
very
knowledgeable
in
the
municipal
code
and
the
general
plan
and
that's
invaluable
as
a
planning.
D
Commissioner,
thank
you
for
your
service,
of
course,
posthumously.
I
thank
marty
richman
for
his
vast
knowledge
and
high
ethics.
My
lights
dimmed
a
little
when
he
passed,
but
still
I
try
and
remember
the
laughs.
We
had
good
guy
till
the
end
and
that's
where
we
want
to
be
at
the
end,
rest
in
peace.
I
want
to
thank
my
friend
bill
avera
for
being
such
a
health
for
me
on
the
council.
I
could
trust
him
to
give
it
to
me
straight
as
well.
I
give
thanks
to
brett
and
wish
him
many
successes.
D
Of
course
I
thank
the
folks
for
appointing
me
they
being
carson,
clower,
mickey
luna
and
mr
jim
gillio.
Thank
you
for
having
confidence
in
me
to
give
me
such
an
important
job.
I
tried
to
live
up
to
my
obligation
with
a
fair
hand.
Honor,
it's
been
a
pleasure
meeting
you
and
working
with
you
on
the
council.
I
want
folks
to
know
how
hard
you
work
at
representing
them.
I
sense
you
have
a
connection
with
the
employees.
D
As
I
see
you
are
consistently
concerned
for
their
welfare,
I
feel
like
you'll,
take
care
of
that
valuable
asset
for
hollister.
I
could
speak
about
our
troubles,
but
I've
had
enough
of
that.
Let's
just
say
I
didn't
anticipate
all
of
that
live
and
learn,
but
for
your
information
I
did
not
like
the
rift
in
the
organization.
D
Some
of
the
good
things
the
400
block-
I'm
not
going
to
get
started
on
that,
but
I'm
proud
of
it.
Two
new
sign
ordinance,
one
that
downtown
likes,
approved
cannabis,
retail.
From
a
business
perspective.
It
looks
to
be
very
successful
marty
and
I
negotiate
a
residential
property
tax
sharing
agreement
with
the
county.
D
D
D
I
cannot
take
credit
for
the
current
parklets,
but
I
can
say
the
planning
commission
that
I
sat
on
discussed
this
about
four
years
ago,
even
though
they
came
about
as
alternative
dining
areas.
I
think
that
it
will
enhance
downtown
as
as
we
get
back
to
normal.
I
love
this
synergy.
It
created
new
ordinance,
prohibiting
carts
and
tarps
in
parks.
I
stayed
on
this
issue
from
the
very
beginning,
I
hope
dunn
park
and
park
hill
residents
have
gotten
some
relief.
It
was,
on
my
mind,
a
lot
okay.
Second,
nine
hollister
farms,
subsidy.
D
D
I
also
served
on
the
water
resource
association.
Thank
you,
judy
johnson,
sunny,
flores
and
leslie
jordan.
Special
thanks
to
sean
novak
and
barbara
mora.
Barbara

thank
you,
mori
moritumi,
anna
flores
and
heather
adamson
and
all
the
directors
of
vamp

D
D
D
D
D
D
D
C
G
Carol
you
have
made
my
two
years
on
this
council.
You
and
marty
both
made
it
amazing.
You
were
my
mentors.
G
G
But
this
is
not
goodbye.
That's.
D
D
G
And
everybody
does
carol,
I'm
going
to
miss
you
and
I.
B
B
All
right,
okay,
so,
needless
to
say,
what
I'm
getting
at
is
that
you
have
dedicated
your
life
to
public
service
and
to
the
city
of
hollister.
I
think
that
we
owe
you
a
debt
of
gratitude.
The
constituents
do
and
so
does
so
does
the
staff
here,
my
mom,
I
don't
know
if
you
know
this.
I've
ever
told
you
this.
My
mom
had
the
pleasure
of
serving
on
the
grand
jury
with
your
mother.
B
I've
heard
you
speak
so
highly
of
your
mom.
My
mom's
had
nothing
but
great
things
to
say
about
her
and
everything
that
she's
done
to
serve
the
public
as
well.
I
just
want
to
tell
you
congratulations
if
anybody
deserves
to
go,
kick
your
feet
up
and
enjoy
your
time
off.
It's
you-
and
I
don't
know
your
mother
personally,
but
I
know
that
she's
looking
down
on
you
and
she's,
very
proud
of
the
accomplishments
that
you
made
so
kudos
to
you,
go
enjoy
your
retirement.
You
deserve
it!
Thank
you
for
your
service.
We
appreciate
you.
C
D
D
D
B
C
C
C
C
C
G
Oh,
I
look
forward
to
working
with
both
of
you,
mr
prez.
I
only
have
one
question,
for
you
is
little
ricky
going
to
be
in
the
audience
a
lot.
G
Love
to
see
him,
I
miss
that
kid.
Mr
burns.
I
look
forward
to
working
with
you
rick.
I
look
forward
to
working
with
you.
I
think
we
can
be
one
great
council
welcome
aboard.
Congratulations.
B
Yes,
mr
mayor,
thank
you
council,
remember
burns.
I
haven't
had
the
pleasure
of
meeting
in
person
other
than
a
couple
of
times.
I've
seen
you
at
the
council
at
the
podium,
but
I
do
know
that
you
are
a
retired
police
officer.
B
I
think
you
were
the
first
code
enforcement
officer
for
the
city
hollister
if
that's
correct
and
you
have
an
extensive
history
in
working
code
enforcement.
So
I
look
forward
to
working
not
only
working
alongside
you,
but
using
your
knowledge
on
some
of
the
issues
that
we
have
in
the
city
of
hollister,
and
you
know
working
together
for
mr
council
member
perez,
I
met
councilmember
perez.
B
I
think
that
it's
a
great
honor
to
get
to
serve
you
and
your
family
should
be
so
very
proud
of
of
the
campaigns
that
you
ran
and
of
sitting
up
there
on
that
diocese,
and
I
just
wanted
to
take
the
time
to
welcome
you
both
to
the
city
of
hollister,
and
I
look
forward
to
sitting
up
there
alongside
both
of
you
guys,
congratulations
and
thank
you
for
your
service
to
the
city
of
hollister.
B
If
I
can,
mr
mayor
I'd
like
to
congratulate
you
on
your
reelection
and
getting
sworn
in
again,
I
had
the
pleasure
of
working
with
you
even
before
I
was
a
council
member
when
I
was
a
community
organizer,
and
that
was
a
lot
of
fun.
I've
had
so
much
fun,
working
or
sitting
alongside
you
the
last
couple
of
years,
so
I
look
forward
to
sitting
with
you
the
next
couple
of
years
and
congratulations
on
your
election.
Mr
mayor.
Thank
you.
Thank
you
very
much.
C
Mr
ascendant,
I
do
appreciate
that
to
the
new
council
members,
mr
burns.
Mr
perez
welcome
on
board.
You
have
chosen
a
time
in
our
city
in
our
state
in
our
country.
That
is
unique.
C
It's
can
be
stressful
at
times
as
we
go
through
trying
to
find
a
way
out
of
this
pandemic,
but
we're
going
to
work
together
as
a
community
as
a
team
to
really
get
ready
and
build
basically
the
building
blocks.
We
need
to
do
this
right
in
our
community.
I
know
both
of
you
have
the
dedication
for
our
community
and
I'm
really
looking
forward
to
that
someday.
We're
all
gonna
sit
in
that
chamber
together
and
have
these
meetings
in
the
meantime.
I
ask
everyone:
always
please
be
safe.
C
We'll
do
this
we'll
do
this
the
right
way
so
with
that
I'm
going
to
go
ahead
and
allow
each
of
you
to
introduce
yourselves
and
give
a
few
words
to
the
public.
So
they
get
to
know
you,
mr
burns.
F
Thank
you
mayor.
I
appreciate
it
tim
burns,
a
newly
elected
council
district,
4
council
member,
look
forward
to
working
with
the
mayor
with
the
city
council
with
the
city
administration
and,
most
importantly,
with
the
community
to
continue
doing
good
work
in
the
community.
I
know
these
are
difficult
times
and
I
look
forward
to
being
part
of
the
solution.
I
also
want
to
thank
everybody
that
was
helpful
and
especially
again,
those
in
district
four
that
were
kind
enough
to
vote
for
me.
F
H
H
We're
going
to
bring
peace,
we're
going
to
bring
unity,
we're
going
to
we're
going
to
get
through
this
pandemic
together
and
hollister
is
a
beautiful,
caring,
loving
community,
and
I
want
to
help
us
give
back
to
a
better,
not
give
back
to
continue
to
be
better
as
a
whole
as
a
community
and
as
families.
H
C
You,
mr
perez,
so
we're
gonna
have
a
lot
of
fun
together,
guys
we're
gonna
be
meeting
soon
to
talk
about
some
of
the
things
that
happened
in
our
city
and
some
of
the
assignments
and
the
committees
will
be
coming
up
at
the
next
meeting
in
was,
I
think,
the
next
meeting,
or
in
early
january
or
late
january,
so
a
lot
of
work
to
do
soon,
guys
we'll
get
all
the
information
you
need
to
have.
So
I'm
going
to
allow
you
guys
to
make
your
first
motions
as
new
council
members.
