On Sunday July 30th the City Of Inglewood in collaboration with the Taste of Inglewood Experience hosted the 2nd Annual Family Day In The Park Event at Edward Vincent Jr. Park.

The event was a great reflection of the great food and culture the City of Inglewood offers the Los Angeles and South Bay regions.

Year after year, it gets better and better. You know we, we started with just the basics, you know improving the roadways, the sidewalks trimming, the trees, improving Public Safety. Then we moved on to getting the form back open, tracking, the NFL working on the Clippers. But you know, what's most important, look behind us.

We have a concert in the park, there's been a concert or any major event in this park and well over a decade, and we are proud of the pace of Englewood combined with family day in the park, and we hope this will be an annual event. Looking at the response of everybody, this is a winner.

Today, we're celebrating all good things Inglewood, we have so many positive things happening in English. We want to bring it out to our community to the residents and the business owners to celebrate the excitement that we have in this beautiful city.

It's important for the city Inglewood to have these type of events to bring the community together. It's all different types of people. You have music, you have things for the kids and it's just important, because it's no drama, just everybody having fun I was.

Going to raise in the woods so it is always lovely to see things going up and events like this going down, especially with the whole thing.

Definitely think at times like these, we need unity within our communities inside for like this is a really good way to get people out, get small businesses out there so that we can all support each other. It's been a beautiful day, a wonderful event and everything turned out fantastic.

This goes one step further to everything. That's been happening here in the city of Inglewood. You see everybody all different cultures here enjoy our great weather. We have our resources, which are just getting improved. Every year, they've been close to two million dollars of improvement to our Parks and Rec over the last 12 months and I. Think it's great that everybody comes out and enjoys.

Live in Inglewood and I love to be a part of stuff like this food.

Always brings people, so you know bringing people together brings love, so you know I, believe in all that everybody brought out a bunch of people who normally probably wouldn't even be out here. But you know it is just a melting pot right now and it's beautiful I love it a lot.

Of great food vendors lines wrapped around the corner, so it's a lot of fun, a lot of good food and, of course, there's banana pudding. I.

Think the event is great: I think it's nice to have something like this for the community, where you can have collectively all the different organizations and food companies and different boutiques be stuff out here that can actually showcase what they have to offer it's great, to bring the community together to get everybody in a vibe to be supportive, I think it's really awesome and I love to see our people come together and have fun and be kind to one another and encourage and empower each other I think is great.
