Well, good afternoon everybody, my name is Jocelyn Alex Padilla, here from the city of Englewood district number, two and you're at our fourth annual district to picnic and chili cook-off.

This year we had an overwhelming response from chefs who wanted to into our chili cook-off. We had a know it down to just 12 chefs, but they did an outstanding job.

This is actually my second year of judging out here for the chili cook-off. It has been a great time. We've had a great time, great chili, those that participated. They did an outstanding job, but I must say that back-to-back chili as far as the winter and wonderful.

My first time making shitty so I, really don't know how it's gonna turn out, but pots almost empty. So it must be pretty good. This.

Year I decided to get involved, so he didn't want me to volunteer and do the chili cook-off. He wanted me to be more interested in the chili. So me and my daughter, we just basically focused on that only.

Last year, so I knew it's gonna, be a fabulous event. So I just wanted to be a part of it on behalf of Assemblywoman Adi Birkin myself just to come out and just meet. Everyone just have a little fun today,.

Community and it's nice to see diversity and change and to get rid of all the stigmas that had plagued our community for years. Hi.

I commend Councilman padilla for the 4th annual chili, cook-off and picnic here at the park and it's a great turnout again and it grows every year and it shows a great resurgence and community pride that you're in Inglewood right now.

We're excited to be a part of working with the city to make better schools better Park, better environments for all of our students and we're here to support alikum idea and what it is doing is helping with that process.

Neighbor, we're just really excited to be here and it's a really fun family community event and just a lot of neighbors out here and the kids can all see their friends from school.

This year, we've got fourth year of leading the community event together, and it was a huge success right because of our community support.

The whole family and their 12 brothers, we are so proud of her brother Alex for all his accomplishment. We both lived here for over thirty years each and he is so dedicated and so embedded into the community. I am so proud of him. I see the progress that we made in Inglewood and knowing my brother I know that he has this great person, along with the rest of the City Council, and our mayor. I am so excited to be here in Inglewood, California.
