You
honorable
mayor
Thank,
You,
council
members
and
all
of
the
distinguished
guests
here
on
today,
my
name
is
dr.:
Wynonna,
Norwood,
CEO
of
the
Jonestown
memorial
services
and
cherishing
the
innocent
children
memorial
wall.
Forty
years
ago,
November
the
18th
1978
Jim
Jones,
ordered
to
have
three
hundred
and
five
innocent
children
poisoned
those
who
would
not
do
it.
He
pulled
the
babies
from
the
mother's
arm
at
gunpoint
had
his
henchmen
to
poison
the
children.
Over
the
years
mayor,
you
have
supported
us
in
erecting
a
wall
in
memory
of
the
innocent
children.

Next,
scheduled
matter
is
a
public
hearing
to
consider
an
ordinance
amending
the
Inglewood
Municipal
Code
to
amend
parking
permit
district
number
fourteen
by
adding
the
following
streets
to
the
district,
long
street
between
66th
Street
and
68th
and
67th
Street
between
Gay
Street
and
West
Boulevard.
As.
E
Regarding
the
amendment,
the
lack
of
adequate
on
Street
residential
parking
along
Street
between
66th
and
68th
Street,
and
on
67th
Street
between
Gay
Street
and
West
Boulevard
is
primarily
attributed
to
overspill
parking
from
a
church
near
the
corner
of
Redondo
Boulevard
and
Long
Street,
and
a
vehicle
storage
and
vehicle
storage
from
an
auto
repair
shop
on
Long
Street,
just
north
of
Redondo
Boulevard,
due
to
the
impact
of
parking
staff,
recommends
that
the
parking
permit
district
number
14
be
a
be
amended.
This
concludes
my
report.
Any.
F
G
G
I
really
am
opposed
to
it.
We
don't
have
a
parking
problem
other
than
what
has
been
created
by
the
residents
themselves.
Either
they
have
too
many
cars
which
can
be
accommodated
by
their
residences
or
they
choose
not
to
use
their
garages
now.
I,
don't
know
about
67
268th,
but
from
66
to
67.
There
are
only
three
houses
facing
Long
Street
all
have
garages,
they
choose
not
to
use
them.
We
are
not
near
a
commercial
area
or
heavy
retail
area.
I
don't
see
the
need
for
it.
Thank
you.
Thank.
H
H
That's
just
one
resident
and
now
because
you
know
other
construction
being
done
in
Redondo,
people
are
now
dumping
their
cars
and
friend
of
all
my
side
street
and
just
switching
cars.
They'll
come
drop
them
off
and
leave
I,
don't
even
know
where
these
people
live
and
anything
like
that
and
I
guess:
cuz
all
the
professional
Redondo
that
you
know
they're
starting
to
move
and
kick
people
out
of
there.
They're
just
dumping
their
cars.
H
B
C
C
C
Next,
scheduled
matter
is
a
hearing
to
consider
an
appeal
of
the
Planning
Commission
conditions
of
approval
for
design
review
number
2018,
zero,
zero.
Three
to
approve
an
electronic
sign
affixed
to
the
tower
element
on
an
existing
building
in
an
Art
Deco
overlay
zone
at
three
three
three:
zero
West
Manchester
Boulevard
is.
B
J
Good
afternoon
our
mayor
butts
and
the
council,
my
name
is
Caprice
Collins
I'm,
the
owner
of
the
building
they're
at
33
30
33,
30,
West,
Manchester,
Boulevard,
I've
owned
the
building.
Now
for
27
years,
I've
been
a
resident
of
Inglewood
for
35
years
continuously
and
I'm,
the
founder
of
the
Collins
Law
Group,
which
is
the
business
at
that
location,
purchased.
That
building
have
made
numerous
improvements
over
the
years
and
I
provide
free
informational
seminars
to
the
community
on
a
regular
basis
and
the
last
year
I
provided
over
50
free
seminars.
J
J
With
the
help
of
many
others
in
this
city
of
being
able
to
do
that
for
our
community
and
we'd
like
to
continue
that
and
like
to
increase
that,
because
we
have
a
lot
of
concerns
in
our
community
regarding
gentrification,
the
rising
cost
of
housing,
an
aging
population
requiring
caregiving
and
the
kinds
of
seminars
that
I
do
provide
free
of
charge
on
a
continuous
basis
are
ones
that
address
all
of
those
things
and
the
solutions
to
that.
The
restrictions
the
the
signage
was
originally
approved,
but
with
restrictions
and
those
restrictions
are
what
I
like
to
address.
J
One
of
the
restrictions
was
that
the
sign
only
displays
static
images.
What
I'm
proposing
is
a
state-of-the-art
LED
sign,
and
the
reason
for
the
need
for
motion
is
because
it
will
draw
interest
to
it.
It
will
provide
that
information
for
our
community
and
to
me
if
we
are
obtained
moving
forward
in
addressing
being
business
friendly,
we
do
want
to
have
the
most
up-to-date
technology
that
is
employed
by
our
business
owners.
So
I
would
like
that
to
not
be
required
to
be
just
static.
J
Images
and
I
would
like
to
have
a
minimum
refresh
rate
of
8
seconds
on
my
sign.
The
second,
the
second
objection
I
have
to
the
approval
had
to
do
with
the
fact
that
we
were
not
allowed
to
can
to
display
any
graphic
photos
or
other
images
and
would
only
be
limited
to
a
logo
and
text
and
I
think
that's.
You
know
completely
contrary
to
the
technology
we're
attempting
to
use,
as,
of
course,
our
own
community
is
using
similar
technology
to
attract
interest
and
various
things
in
the
community.
J
Our
firm
identity
is
based
on
my
physical
image
and
the
welcoming
team
that
is
employed
by
me,
and
so
all
we
would
like
to
do
is
to
show
our
faces
and
involvement
of
the
community.
We
did
provide
the
city
with
some
signage
proposals
that
would
give
the
impression
as
to
what
would
be
on
that
sign.
We
would
not
be
advertising
anything
other
than
these
services
that
our
particular
firm
provides.
The
last
part
of
that
approval.
That
I
would
like
to
request
through
the
council
to.
J
B
J
You
would
that
we
were
only
granted
a
sign
at
the
dimensions
of
behind
by
2
feet,
and
that
would
be
a
total.
What
we
requested
was
assigned
by
nine
by
four
and
a
half
feet
for
a
total
signage
area
of
only
43
square
feet.
Our
site
is
allowed
432
square
feet
based
on
the
code.
We
are
only
asking
for
10%
of
that
total
square
footage
to
allow
this
sign
to
be
displayed.
We
have
provided
the
city
with
examples
of
what
exactly
where
the
sign
will
be.
J
I
do
have
the
president
of
mega
signs,
who
is
a
gentleman
and
an
affirm
that
would
be
providing
us
the
services
in
regards
of
that
sign,
so
that
there
were
any
questions
specifically
regarding
the
technology.
I
would
have
him
I
just
want
to
say
that
our
signage
is
very
small
in
comparison
to
the
other
signs
in
our
community
parks.
Meat
market
down
the
street
has
a
total
of
108
square
feet
of
signage
payday
advance
checks,
cash,
ohhow,
total
110
square
feet
of
signage
buda.
J
B
K
The
first
was
the
requirement
that
only
static
images
be
displayed
and
the
premise
behind
that
from
the
Planning
Commission
is
that
the
signage,
the
primary
purpose
of
the
signage,
is
for
business
identification
purposes
and
that
full
motion
signage
was
not
necessary
to
provide
business
identification
for
the
second
condition
being
appeals
that
there
be
only
text
and
the
business
logo
displayed
no
graphics
again
there,
and
the
premise
was
that
the
signage
is
for
business
identification
purposes
as
well
as
business
service
identification
purposes,
and
that
graphics
were
not
necessary
to
convey
that
and
then,
in
terms
of
this
sign,
sighs
the
size
that
the
Planning
Commission
approved
was
similar
in
size
to
other
electronic
signs
of
in
the
city
in
recent
years
and
afford
specifically
the
Planning
Commission
was
looking
at
in
this
case
for
the
Art
Deco.
K
B
I
Building
by
the
way,
I
think
you
know
the
thought
of
the
Planning
Commission
thought
is
well
well
well
said:
well
stated,
you
know
we
can't
put
ourselves
in
a
position
to
consistently
address
these
things
for
different
businesses
and
the
I
believe.
The
eight
second
turnaround
was:
what
is
it
currently
for
the
other.
I
Guess
my
question
is:
where
did
we
get
the
eight
seconds
from
because
I
get
it?
You
want
to
advertise
your
business,
but
at
the
same
time
you
know
we
don't
want
to
create
kind
of
this
aside
where
it's
it's
more
advertisement
features
and
everything
else
I'm
trying
to
get
to
the
point
where,
where
did
we
get
the
eight
seconds
from?
Where
did
we
get
the
thirty
seconds
from?
Where
did
we
get
that
thirty.
J
B
We
find
I'll
tell
you
why
I
say
that
is
it:
it
seems
that
it
seems
that
were
being
arbitrary
and
the
city
itself
has
moved
to
full
motion
video
and
we
actually
advertise
and
our
refresh
rates
are
not
hindered.
She,
the
appellant,
is
asking
to
merely
advertise
services
in
her
building
and
so
eight
seconds,
depending
on
how
many
businesses
she
has
there.
Eight
seconds
is
reasonable
to
get
to
the
full
cycle
of
businesses
in
her
building.
She
doesn't
want
to
advertising
competition
with
the
city.
I
L
F
F
I
B
J
M
L
L
F
K
L
I
K
K
B
J
F
And
and
my
concern
I
raised
in
respect
to
the
residents
in
the
area
because
the
south
side
of
your
building
has
housing
and
so
I
didn't
want
to
impede
with
illumination
cuz
I
said
from
6:00
to
morning
to
midnight
that
she
was
gonna
have
that
that
illumination,
that
it
would
not
impede
with
the
residence
to
having
that
constant
changing
of
lighting.
That's
going
to
go
on
fact.
J
F
Drove
past
year
building
because
I,
when
you
gave
the
multitude
of
samples
the
one
that
really
caught
my
attention
was
animal
high
school
where
they
had
the
ticker
tape
going
down,
which
was
digital
but
other
than
that.
I
didn't
see
any
other
significant,
but
I
raised
a
concern.
If
it
was
two-sided
facing
east
and
facing
west
on
Manchester,
then
that
would
be
an
issue
I
have
to
raise
regarding
the
residential
property.
Otherwise
its
business-to-business.

The
Los
Angeles
County
Register
recorders
office
will
be
hosting
a
meeting
in
association
with
the
City
Clerk's
office
regarding
replacing
polling
places
for
voting
centers.
They
will
also
be
speaking
about
the
new
voting
equipment
that
they
have
and
much
more.
This
meeting
is
going
to
take
place
on
December
11th
from
6:00
p.m.
to
8:00
p.m.
right
here
at
City
Hall
in
community
room,
a
and
fliers
will
be
down
in
the
City
Clerk's
office.
To
remind
you
to
come,
please
come
out
and
share
your
thoughts.
This
is
really
important
appreciate
it.
Thank
you.
Thank.
O
Local
news
I'd
like
to
just
mention-
and
this
is
according
to
the
2018
accessor
's-
and
the
report
produced
by
the
LA
County
tax
assessor's
office,
the
city
of
Inglewood-
has
a
total
property,
assessed
valuation
of
nine
point,
four
to
two
billion
dollars
for
the
tax
year
for
this
year's
tax
year
bait.
Up
from
eight
point,
five
five
billion
a
year
ago
represented
and
ten
percent
increase
of
eight
hundred
and
sixty
five
point.
O
Seven
seven
million
dollars
and
the
percentage
increase-
represents
the
highest
rate
of
increase
in
assessed
valuation
among
other
South
Bay
cities
in
the
year
2018
and
just
a
little
time
in
just
googling
boy,
just
to
see
what
sort
of
things
come
up-
and
this
is
some
of
this
is
what
you
read
now
as
opposed
to
what
you
may
have
read
say
eight
nine
years
ago,
construction
of
NFL
stadium
in
Inglewood
is
forty
percent
finished.
Now,
maybe
more
than
that
now.
O
But
this
is
about
three
weeks
about
three
four
weeks
old
new
LA
Rams
stadium
in
here
were
to
be
the
world's
most
expensive
stadium.
I
know
they're
building
one
in
Oakland,
but
this
is
to
top
that
one
Inga
would
could
be
what
could
be
the
west
side
of
Los
Angeles
and
it
goes
on
to
see
other
positive
things
like.
O
Inglewood
home
that
are
soaring,
blamed
the
NFL
stadium,
and
then
it
goes
under
saying.
Inglewood
growth
is
more
than
just
a
stadium,
that's
just
part
of
the
picture,
and
then
it
goes
on
to
say:
Hilton
T
are
you
true
hotel
come
into
Inglewood
and
then
it
goes
on
to
some
other
things
that
pops
up
just
googling,
Inglewood
Inglewood,
California
growth
factors
in
a
given
number
of
different
factors.
So
just
just
a
lot
of
positive
hits
that
you
get
if
you
just
simply
Google-
and
that
has
been
a
big
change
from
you
know.
O
What
did
me
have
been
10
years
ago
and
again
it's
more
than
just
a
stadium.
It's
all
the
other,
develop
the
commercial,
the
retail
that's
happening
here,
also,
the
home
buildings
and
and
and
all
of
that
and
the
restaurant
growth
and
all
of
the
growth
that's
happening
here.
That's
been
quite
positive.
You
know
over
these
last
few
years,
so
Inglewood
is
the
place
to
be
now
and
folks
that
are
selling
homes.
I
heard
one
name
is
that
they're
selling
their
home
they're
gonna
get
so
much
money
out
of
it.
O
Where
they're
moving
to
I
think
I
said
Apple
Valley,
they're
gonna
pay
cash
for
that
one
and
didn't
have
300,000
to
put
in
the
bank.
I
mean
that
is
really
something
to
be
happy
about,
and
also
those
that
are
on
fixed
income
are
now
utilizing
something
called
the
reverse
mortgage
in
order
to
utilize
the
equity
in
their
homes.
So
these
are
some
of
the
positive
things
that
are
that
are
going
on
in
our.
B
C
Q
B
R
R
It's
a
criminal
activity
and
at
the
level
that
we
face
today,
which
I'm
facing
and
not
you
people,
because
it
affects
you
a
basis
every
day,
and
that
is
this
is
not
ethical.
It's
not
treating
you
do
not
mess
with
federal
documents.
Read
you
constitute
it'll
tell
you.
We
have
a
lot
of
people
there
talking
about
coke
orders
on
the
south,
but
yet
and
still
build
that
thirty
thousand
Australians,
which
are
criminals.
They
were
criminal
colony,
they
let
thirty
thousand
a
men
to
be
judges
and
what-have-you
Tirpitz,
your
Constitution.
R

S
Even
and
counseling
for
more
great
years,
just
a
couple
of
little
things
several
months,
I
got
a
chance
to
my
wife
and
I
met
with
this
young
man
over
here,
and
we
talked
about
the
upcoming
MLK
and
he
made
some
suggestions
in
our
own
and
we
didn't
sit
back
on
our
lawyers.
I
think
to
our
great
director,
Sabrina
Barnes,
that
what's
going
on
in
2019
fifty
days
is
right.
Here
we
for
the
first
time
we
have
a
parade
consultant,
we've
got
a
new
parade
route,
the
festival.
S
Of
course
you
see
the
flyer
out,
then
the
lobbyists
it's
gonna
be
on
a
Saturday,
so
we
won't
be
in
any
competition
with
the
City
of
LA.
Special
needs
is
momentous
I'm
reaching
out
to
that
young
man
up
there.
We
need
some
classic
cars
so
that
you
can
sit
in
there
and
wave
to
your
constituency
more
community
groups.
S
Sorority,
of
course,
miss
Barnes
gonna
have
the
deltas
there
and
I've
got
my
buddy
back
there.
My
sorority
brother,
dr.
Jackson,
so
he's
gonna
make
sure
that
for
alpha,
sapphire
will
be
there
and,
of
course,
mobile
media
coverage.
We're
doing
things
and
I
need
10,000
people
on
Market,
Street
and
I'll,
be
leaving
here
soon
to
pass
out
flyers
on
Market
Street,
so
that
we
can
innovate
the
city
of
Inglewood
January
19
2019.
Thank
you.
Thank.
A
B
T
Is
Willie
Angie
and
I
live
in
the
beautiful
city
of
Inglewood,
California
I'm
so
happy
here
that
been
a
change
in
dr.
King's
birthday
on
Market
Street
feel
good
about
that
I.
Don't
know
sometime,
maybe
eight.
Ten
years
ago,
I
believe
this
Council
passed
an
ordinance
concerning
leaving
your
trash
cans
out
front.
T
B
T
T
I
Q
Hello,
my
name
is
Lee
Denman
and
I
also
live
in
the
beautiful
city
of
Inglewood,
okay.
But
my
comment
is
more
kind
of
a
question.
Okay,
many
of
you
don't
know
but
I.
My
son
was
killed
a
few
years
back
and
he
was
he
attended,
Morningside
high
school
and
then
after
graduating
from
college,
he
came
back
to
become
a
coach
at
Morningside,
High
School.
Q
There's
a
coach
at
Morningside
named
mr.
Campbell
I
think
they
did
too
Elden
Campbell
the
old
professional
basketball
player
and
what
he
did
two
weeks
ago
held
a
tournament,
and
he
named
the
tournament.
The
Leigh
Denman
Classic
asked
me
to
come
to
the
winner
of
the
tournament
which
I
did
and
I
was
just.
My
question
is
I
would
like
to
thank
him
I'm,
not
sure
if
the
thanks
I
should
go
to
Councilman
Dotson,
because
I
live
in
that
area
or
I
should
go
to
councilman
Franklin,
because
Morningside
is
in
that
area.
Q
T
U
Today,
Mayor
Council
and
staff
about
a
week
ago,
we
had
a
meeting
with
the
Upstate
on
the
stadium.
It's
a
beautiful,
update,
I'm
going
to
say
it
just
like
they
said
it.
It's
going
to
be
one
of
the
most
secure
stadiums
for
the
what
we
have
with
earthquake
problems
in
this
city
in
the
state,
so
it
will
be
very
sturdy.
I
was
just
wondering:
do
you
guys
have
a
plan
with
mr.
cranky
and
the
Spanos
for
emergency
preparedness
at
the
stadium?
U
Because
we
know
if
there's
an
earthquake,
people
will
gather
at
the
stadium
like
they
did
in
Louisiana?
And
if
you
do
do
you
have
provisions
and
maybe
need
some
things
that
we
can
discuss
as
a
virgin'
see
plan
for
the
city,
understanding
to
help
the
residents
the
things
that
I
just
would
like
to
know:
blankets,
food,
water,
all
these
things
that
you
know
that
that
are
needed
in
a
emergency.
U
U
T
B
To
shelter
in
place-
and
that
was
inadequate
for
this
reason-
that
if
you
don't
have
sufficient
police
officer
security
personnel,
if
you
don't
have
sufficient
sanitation
supplies,
if
you
don't
have
sufficient
food
for
all
the
people
that
you
put
together
in
a
place
like
that,
then
it
becomes
a
sanitation
disaster
and
it
becomes
a
public
safety
hazard
and
and
the
the
things
that
happened
to
women.
Children
were
legendary,
so
the
stadium
is
not
the
first
option
for
shelter
shelter
in
place
in
Englewood.
B
We
would
need
to
shelter
in
place
if
there
was
an
earthquake
that
did
some
sizable
seismological
damage,
but
our
Senior
Center
has
been
constructed
to
shell
place
about
400
people
as
an
industrial
kitchen.
That
would
be
the
refuge
of
first
resort
here
in
the
city
of
Englewood
and
if
you
think
back
in
all
the
earthquakes
we've
had,
we've
never
had
an
earthquake
that
displaced
thousands
of
people.
So
so
no,
the
stadium
is
not
the
refuge
of
first
resort.
Here.
U
P
P
A
major
disaster
is
be
prepared
yourself,
I
have
to
be
conflict
prepared,
and
that
doesn't
mean
just
have
an
emergency
kit
at
home,
but
you
need
to
have
one
in
your
car
and
you
need
to
have
one
in
your
office
but
contact
the
emergency
office
here
in
Englewood
and
they'll
put
you
in
with
a
cert
class.
Get
your
cert
training
be
prepared,
take
care
of
yourself
and
then
won't
worry
about
the
big
disasters.
Let
the
city
take
care
of
the
big
disaster
part
our
fire
department,
our
Police
Department,
an
emergency
operation
center.
Thank
you
thank.
A
B
M
First
of
all,
I'd
like
to
thank
principal
mayor
rules
of
st.
Mary's
Academy
for
inviting
me
to
their
appreciation
of
brunch
and
tour.
This
past
Sunday
I
want
to
remind
everybody
and
invite
you
to
my
annual
Christmas
tour
giveaway
on
Wednesday
December,
the
5th
from
6
p.m.
to
8
p.m.
at
the
new
Senior
Center.
M
L
L
A
lot
of
work
went
into
making
sure
that
it
was
run
smooth
as
it
should
be,
and
it
was
just
so
nice
to
see
how
many
of
our
residents
came
out
that
we
were
able
to
provide
through
donations
from
different
companies
and
organizations
here
and
around
the
city
of
Englewood,
coming
together
to
help
families
during
this
holiday
season.
So
it's
just
a
huge
thank
you
to
staff
and
everybody
that
participated
from
the
city
to
make
that
event.
A
success.
L
I
also
want
to
take
an
opportunity
to
welcome
or
or
invite
everybody
on,
December,
the
8th
to
my
district
to
toy
drive
it'll
be
held
at
the
community
center
I've
already
decorated.
The
community
center
had
paint
put
on
the
outside
buildings,
and
then
yesterday
we
we
put
up
a
brand
new
Christmas
tree,
so
we're
ready
for
the
holiday
season.
I
hope
you
can.
All
come
out
and
celebrate
with
us
on
Saturday
December,
the
8th,
the
following
Saturday
December
15th.
L
Some
of
the
toys
that
will
be
collecting
will
be
donated
to
one
for
all,
Oh
pho
with
mati
Morales,
and
that
toy
giveaway
will
be
on
Saturday
December
15th
at
st.
John's
Church.
So
if
you
know
take
a
look
at
my
newsletter,
all
that
information
on
be
in
there
I'm
also
doing
something
new
this
year,
I'm
doing
a
district,
a
home
holiday,
decorating
contest,
so
anybody
that
lives
in
district
2
and
you're
decorating
your
home
and
you'd
like
to
be
a
part
of
this
contest.
L
Please
reach
out
to
my
office,
so
we
can
get
your
name
and
address
and
we
can
come
out
and
take
a
look
at
your
home.
We're
gonna
give
prizes
to
the
first
three
folks,
1st,
2nd
and
3rd
prize
I
also
want
to
thank
Festa
Martine
for
inviting
me
on
Thanksgiving
morning
to
come
out.
They
host
an
annual
turkey
soccer
game
over
at
Vincent
Park,
and
there
was
a
really
a
lot
of
fun,
a
good
way
to
kick
off.
L
You
can
see
all
the
folks
that
were
there
to
kick
off
the
soccer
game
and
I
want
to
thank
I,
P
D,
because
just
over
a
week
or
so
ago
they
had
the
citizens
Academy
graduation,
which
charles
bragg,
jim
vaughn
and
a
few
others
were
there
to
graduated
from
the
citizens
police
academy.
So
again,
thank
you
to
I
p
d
for
all
you
do,
then.
The
other
day
I
happened
to
be
going
by
the
fire
station
171
here
and
I
saw
they
had
this
classic
1952
and
now
folks
know
I
love
classic
cars.
L
But
this
is
awesome.
You
know
it's
a
1950
to
actual
city
of
Englewood,
firetruck
and
LA
County,
Fire
Department
has
it
and
it's
going
to
the
museum,
and
so
it's
just
really
nice
to
be
able
to
stop
by
and
take
a
look
at
something
as
beautiful
as
that
and
then
just
a
reminder.
This
coming
Monday
I
believe
December.
The
6th
is
our
Christmas
tree
lighting
ceremony,
which
will
be
held
right
here
at
the
South
Lawn
of
City
Hall
at
6
o'clock.
L
Please
bring
all
your
family
all
your
friends,
everybody
come
out
and,
let's
celebrate
the
holiday
season,
I
know:
Santa
Claus
will
be
there
to
give
out
some
candy
canes
and
to
celebrate
this
special
day.
So
with
that
enjoy
the
rest
of
your
weekend.
Thank
you
for
coming
out
to
our
City
Council
meeting
council.
F
So
now
I
got
to
use
my
one
minute.
I
too,
just
want
to
thank
staff
repeatedly
for
your
compassion
and
concerns
for
the
needy,
not
the
greedy
on
the
turkey
giveaway.
Truly
the
event
we
had
on
Monday
November
19th
was
outstanding,
well
operated
and
my
hat's
go
off
to
the
ladies,
miss
McDade
and
Sabrina
Barnes,
and
their
team
on
making
it
run
smoothly
without
any
major
hitches.
I
also
want
to
acknowledge
staff
people
take
for
granted
Oh
someone
caught
me.
F
People
take
for
granted
that
staff
is
just
behind
the
scenes
and
they're
just
warm
and
fuzzy,
but
I
want
to
tell
you
that
I
reached
out
to
the
office
of
emergency
services
and
I
needed
detailed
information
and
Brian
Walker
and
his
team
was
outstanding
and
providing
me
the
information,
I
needed
and
timely,
to
which
I
just
want
to
personally
give
you
expression
of
publicly
of
a
thank
you.
I
also
want
to
reach
out
to
the
Parks
and
Rec
Sabrina
Barnes
team,
because
we
are,
we
only
have
one
small
park
and
that's
called
Center
Park.
F
That
is
a
public
use,
as
well
as
the
the
Lock
Haven
community
center,
on
which
her
team
respectfully
continues
to
maintain
both
locations
as
well
as
smugly
works
in
that
assistance.
I
just
want
to
thank
them
as
well,
and
staying
with
Public
Works
I
had
an
issue
with
guarding
a
streetlight
where
Southern
California
Edison
put
up
a
brand
new
pole
with
the
light,
but
never
put
the
wires
connected
to
it.
So,
through
the
efforts
of
Public
Works
assistance,
we
was
able
to
finally
get
that
connected
over
six
months.
F
It
took
to
get
that
done
and
then
finally,
I
want
to
reach
out
to
the
team.
That's
involved
in
code
enforcement,
there's
a
number
of
families
that
have
opted
to
modify
their
property.
That
is
not
up
to
England
misto
code,
and
it's
tough
love
that
you
got
to
go
to
those
homes
and
say
you
got
to
be
in
compliance
and
so
I
want
to
thank
them
as
well,
and
then
we
would.
F
It
would
not
be
remiss
if
I
didn't
say
thank
you
to
Cinderella,
because
there's
a
number
of
homeless
issues
in
which
I
just
helped
a
general
yesterday
that
was
living
in
his
vehicle,
because
him
and
his
friend
did
not
have
a
place
to
stay
and
being
able
to
embrace
them.
We're
going
into
these
winter
periods,
where
it's
getting
cold
and
now
the
and
the
new
laws
allowing
homeless
people
to
be
able
to
live
on
public
sidewalks.
It's
becoming
a
challenge,
and
everyone
says
we
need
to
do
something
about
it.
F
But
as
soon
as
we
raise
issue
about
doing
a
affordable
housing
or
low-income
housing
for
them
to
live
in.
The
first
thing
we
hear
is,
but
not
in
my
backyard,
so
we
all
have
identified.
This
is
a
state
federal
issue
that
homeless
is
here
and
we
need
to
work
together
as
a
team
to
make
it
to
provide
as
much
services
as
possible
and
on
that
note,
happy
holidays
to
everyone.
B
I
So
much
has
been
covered.
The
I
do
want
to
thank
staff,
of
course,
for
the
Thanksgiving
turkey
giveaway
I,
have
to
say
it
was
a
mess
for
a
few
years
and
they
really
made
it
something
that
runs
so
smooth.
We
always
finish
early
and
and
on
time,
and
it's
amazing.
Actually,
it's
a
great
event.
It
handles
itself
in
about
two
or
three
hours,
so
I
want
to
thank
them
for
that.
Welcome
everybody,
of
course,
to
the
tree
lighting,
which
will
be
in
a
couple
of
weeks,
but
I
want
to
say
something
about
that.
I
I
But
the
what
I
was
gonna
say
is
that
it
wasn't
too
long
ago
before
we
contemplated
not
having
a
tree
lighting
just
based
on
the
cost,
and
so
much
is
said
about
about
cities
that
can
handle
community
events.
We've
come
a
long
way.
The
fact
that
our
turkey
giveaway
we
can
we
can
have-
and
we
know
we
can
have
it
next
year.
That's
how
good
the
city's
doing.
We
know
we
can
have
our
tree
lighting
next
year.
It
wasn't
always
like
that
and
I
want
to
remind
everyone
that
this
is.
I
This
is
also
the
time
of
year
that
we're
we're
grateful
for
that
and-
and
a
lot
was
done
with
the
employees
here
in
the
city,
taking
a
brunt
of
that
for
so
many
years
before
we,
we
had
a
situation
that
we
have
now
so
I
just
wanted
to
mention
that
and
thank
staff
for
that.
That's
all
mayor
all
right.
B
All
right
in
the
interest
of
time,
I'll
save
my
comments
for
next
week.
I'll
just
I
just
wanted
to
you.
Thank
you
to
the
staff
for
the
turkey
giveaway.
Thank
you
to
the
staff
for
what
you
do
every
day.
Thank
you
to
the
residents
for
the
confidence
that
you've
shown
in
the
City
Council
and
we're
adjourned.
