Description
Councilman George Dotson hosts a community meeting at the District 1 Community Center.
B
B
I
want
to
apologize
because
we
haven't
been
able
to
have
this
meeting
because
of
covet,
so
we're
gonna
pray
that
it
keeps
on
going
away
so
that
we
can
do
this
again.
First
thing
I
want
to
do
is
I
want
to
introduce
the
man
who
leads
the
city?
B
He
is
the
one
guy
that
I
have
to
say
is
the
hardest
working
guy
in
the
city.
Maybe
chris
jackson
might
be,
but
the
mayor's
mayor
beats
him
out.
So
without
further
ado,
mayor
butts.
C
A
You
know
some
great
times
have
occurred
and
more
to
come.
I
wanted
to
tell
you
that
over
on
that
little
table
there's
this
magazine.
It's
called
the
ingwood
renaissance
and
you
should
take
one
before
you
leave
and
if
you're
watching
this
live
streaming,
you
can
google
la
times
inward
renaissance
and
it'll
give
you
okay.
Can
you
hear
me
now
if
you,
if
you
are
watching
us,
live
streaming,
you
can
google
la
times
slash
renaissance
and
we'll
give
you
a
link
to
this
magazine.
It
basically
talks
about.
A
What's
happened
in
the
city
in
the
last
11
years,
we're
working
on
a
1.4
billion
dollar
people
mover
project
to
connect
the
crenshaw
line
from
market
in
florence
over
market
over
manchester,
over
prairie
to
the
venues
and
to
the
homes
that
will
be
there.
The
sofi
development
has
been
joined
by
youtube.
They
run
a
6000
c
performing
arts
theater,
there's
going
to
be
a
300
key
hotel,
a
dine
in
movie
theater
about
1.1
million
square
feet
of
dining
and
retail,
about
eight
hundred
thousand
square
feet
of
grady
office
and
about
two
thousand
residential
units.
A
We
are
looking
at
some
proposals
from
market
street
ones
for
the
fox
theater
to
turn
it
to
a
combination
of
a
restaurant,
hopefully
turn
into
something
like
the
apollo
theater
west,
and
one
of
the
proposals
has
a
dining
area
on
the
roof
that
lets.
You
see,
sofi
the
forum
and
the
intuit
dome.
So
you
know
we
still
still
got
a
lot
of
things
coming.
A
A
And
working
on
two
things:
one,
the
county
administrator
and
I
are
going
to
co-author
a
letter
to
the
governor's
office
asking
that
the
government,
the
the
state
out
of
the
400
billion
400
million
dollars
billion
dollar
surplus,
that
they
buy
back
the
loan
from
the
finance
company,
the
25
million
that
was
offloaded.
A
A
We're
looking
for
verizon
but
and
and
the
forum,
the
property
values
have
gone
up
immensely,
and
so
we
want
to
make
a
request
that
they
consider
giving
a
additional
stipend
to
english
schools
for
x
amount
of
time,
because
the
city
of
england
is
bringing
more
property
taxes
into
the
state,
and
so
I
want
to
tell
you
that's
the
plan
for
myself,
george
dodson
and
to
assist
erica
torres
now.
Everybody
knows
this.
The
city
does
not
run
the
school
district,
but
that
doesn't
mean
we
don't
try
to
help.
We
got
in.
A
I
think
that's
it
so
anyway,
it's
good
to
see
everybody,
I'm
glad
that
we're
back
in
person
and
you
guys
have
a
good
night.
It's
going
to
be
a
very
informative
night
with
all
the
departments
we
have
here.
So
thank
you
very
much.
I
appreciate
you.
Thank
you.
B
D
D
The
overall
community
liaison
for
the
city
of
inglewood
also
happens
to
be
present,
and
that
is
cinderella,
so
she
will
she's
sitting
in
the
corner
so
we'll
just
it
would
be
nice
to
send
her
if
you
would
just
walk
over
and
we'll
give
them
a
view.
D
D
D
If
we
do
it
this
way,
so
we
have
some
sandwiches
in
the
room
so
for
those
of
you
that
are
present,
if
you
would
be
so
kind
as
to
avail
yourselves
of
that
refreshment,
the
restrooms
are
are
in
the
back,
we're
going
to
follow
the
the
agenda
as
it's
printed.
You
would
have
received
that
when
you
entered
the
room.
D
Ok,
correct:
we
are
going
to
make
one
exception
and
the
chief
will
will
actually
follow
me
when
I'm
done
making
providing
these
few
logistics
to
continue
today
as
smoothly
as
possible.
The
councilman's
intent
for
tonight
was
to
bring
you
an
opportunity
to
come
together,
as
community
face
to
face
to
be
able
to
see
each
other.
D
So
that's
the
the
the
ideal.
The
best
of
all
worlds
is
that
we're
able
to
do
a
hybrid
meeting
with
some
of
us
live
and
some
of
us,
and
so
it's
an
opportunity
also.
The
councilman's
intent
was
for
a
high-level
view,
overview
of
all
the
things
that
are
going
on
in
our
city
that
have
come
in
as
inquiry
over
these
last
two
years.
So
our
presenters
have
been
given
the
questions
that
you
have
provided
to
us
to
be
able
to
speak
to
tonight.
D
Now
we
obviously
will
not
get
to
answer
every
question.
These
meetings
will
be
continuing
on
a
monthly
basis,
so
it
is
not
your
last
time
to
hear
and
come
together
over
specifics
tonight.
We
won't
be
addressing
the
tree
that
is
pushing
up
roots
on
my
street
or
on
yours,
but
we'll
be
talking
about
the
process
globally,
how
anyone's
tree
that
is
pushed
up.
D
If
you
will
that's
just
an
example,
what
is
the
process
for
how
you
would
handle
that
if
you
have
need
to
have
your
trees,
trimmed
or
if
there's
something
that
is
happening
in
your
neighborhood?
That
concerns
you?
Who
do
you
call,
and
what
number
would
you
use?
So
it's
going
to
be
the
global
30
000
foot
view
of
how
we
get
things
done
in
our
community
and
each
of
the
presenters
will
be
bringing
those
answers
from
their
perspective.
D
Based
on
the
questions
that
you
have
presented
that
have
been
given
to
them,
the
itc
project
will
be
coming
up,
and
I
know
there
are
lots
of
you
in
the
room
that
are
concerned
about
that
and
have
specific
questions,
and
there
is
an
expert
in
the
room
that
will
be
providing
you
information
again
globally
this
evening
and
each
presenter
will
do
the
same.
So
without
further
ado,
we
will
bring
up
our
chief
of
police
for
the
city
of
inglewood.
Thank
you.
E
Good
evening,
everyone
can
everybody
hear
me.
Okay,
and
I
see
I-
I
have
some
officers
in
the
back
there.
I
see
captain
hurt
back
there.
I
want
to
acknowledge
him
he's
in
charge
of
our
patrol
bureau,
our
largest
bureau.
I
see
sergeant
hackett
a
long
time
resident
and
traffic
officer
and
now
a
sergeant
with
the
city
and
officer
mosley
back
there,
one
of
our
newer
officers
but
well
established
in
the
community.
E
I
know
gwendolyn
also
mentioned
mentioned:
miss
eller
she's,
a
very
important
part
of
this,
of
our
our
officers
and
what
we
do
out
there,
specifically
with
homeland
homelessness,
which
we
all
know
is
a
major
issue
and
a
concern
for
all
of
us
and
her
along
with
a
specialized
unit
that
we
have
where
we
have
embedded
with
us,
a
department
of
mental
health,
clinician
who
goes
up
our
officer
and
and
cinder
also
tags
along
many
times
and
will
help
out
with
the
homeless
individual.
E
The
only
caveat
being
it's
a
very
tricky
situation,
because
if
the
individual
refuses
assistance,
there
isn't
really
much,
we
can
do
unless
there's
a
violation
of
the
law
and
that's
not
really
where
we
want
those
folks
anyways.
E
So
it's
a
very
difficult
and
it's
a
national
problem,
as
everyone
knows,
hopefully,
our
elected
officials
in
the
future
on
a
national
level
on
a
statewide
level
will
will
provide
us
some
of
the
legislative
help
to
work
in
that
that
difficult
situation.
But
I
see
a
lot
of
familiar
faces
here.
E
I
see
one
of
my
volunteers
in
the
back
there.
She
can.
She
is
raise
your
hand
back
there
and
we
appreciate
you.
We
love
you
for
that,
and
I
know
with
the
taste
of
inglewood.
We
had
a
great
time:
oh
alicia's
alicia's
back
there,
so
hi
alicia.
So
it's
all
good.
E
So,
first
of
all
I
I
want
that
the
mayor
and
and
councilman
are
quite
modest.
They've
done
an
incredible
job.
I've
been
with
yorda
police
department
now
well
over
a
little
over
40
years
now,
and
I've
been
your
chief
almost
almost
10
years
now,
and
so
I
appreciate
that.
E
The
trust
that
you
have
in
me
and
was
bestowed
upon
me
by
the
elected
officials
and
certainly
the
citizens
in
this
community,
and
they
have
done
an
incredible
job,
and
I
I
mean
that
and,
and
you
know
the
growth
and
everything
that's
going
on
here,
world
champion
rams.
Everything
else
we
have
going
has
really
been
amazing,
so
kudos
to
them
my
hat's
off
to
them,
and
I
thank
you
for
the
confidence
they
put
in
me.
E
The
men
and
women
of
the
inglewood
police
department
is
your
your
department.
I've
always
said
that
from
day
one
when
I
became
your
complete
police
chief
and
we're
here
to
help
and
bring
fair
and
equitable
service
to
everybody,
it
was
what
I
promised
on
day
one,
and
I
continue
to
promise
that
as
long
as
I'm
your
chief
and
what
does
that
mean?
That
means
we
have
officers
that
are
polite.
Professional
are
attentive
and
competent
in
what
they
have
to
do,
and
I
can
assure
you,
the
men
and
women
here.
E
E
But
with
that
said
some
of
the
issues
I
know
I
know
there
was
some
questions
out
there
and
I'm
not
going
to
be
able
to.
I
I
got
I
got
tapped
inside
I
came
from
another
meeting.
Actually
I
was
with
the
school
district
in
a
meeting
with
a
parent's
pta
meeting
tonight,
and
so
I
wasn't
thinking
I
was
going
to
be
able
to
make
this
and
the
councilman
called
me,
and
I
was
able
to
run
over
here
from
the
last
meeting
I
just
came
from
so
with
that
said.
E
I
know,
there's
some
questions
out
there.
I
don't
know
that
I'll
be
able
to
get
answer
all
those
tonight,
but
I
assure
you,
through
each
district
we
have
a
lieutenant
or
the
captain.
We
will
get
those
responses
back
to
you,
but
the
few
that
I
know
off
the
top
of
my
head
I
wanted
to
cover.
I
know
there
was
some
concerns
with
traffic
or
blocking
of
driveways
and
things
of
that
nature.
E
As
you
know,
I
know
we
have
who's
a
retired
lieutenant
by
the
way
bill
thompson
here,
who's
responsible
for
our
parking
enforcement
bureau
and
they
do
a
great
job
as
well,
but
any
of
those
parking
concerns
like
that.
You
can
call
a
number
and
I'll
we'll
provide
you
with
these
numbers,
so
you
don't
have
to
jot
them
down
right
now
and
then
you
can
call
dispatch
to
have
someone
respond
to
either
side
or
tow
that
vehicle
that
may
may
be
blocking
your
driveway
or
whatever
the
case
may
be.
E
E
That
is
a
not
only
a
problem
here,
but
it's
really
a
county,
statewide
and
national
problem.
These
these
groups
get
together,
as
you
know,
and
they
go
into
these
intersections.
They
take
them
over
and
that's.
Hence
that's
why
they're
called
street
takeovers
and
they
go
in
there
and
do
their
thing.
They
use
what
are
called
blockers,
so
we
can't
get
in
there,
so
they
they
box
us
out.
You
have
spectators
many
times
those
spectators
are
literally
hit
by
the
vehicles,
doing
the
donuts
and
all
that
sort
of
thing.
E
So
what
we
have
to
do,
if
you
see
a
delay,
don't
think
that
we're
not
responding,
we
will
respond
and
we
will
sight
in
tow
when
we
can,
but
we
have
to
coordinate
our
resources
and
we,
we
network
with
our
neighboring
agencies
in
the
california
highway
patrol
and
again
the
council
and
their
infamous
wisdom,
and
my
recommendation
passed
some
municipal
code
violation
sections
where
we
can
tow
vehicles
and
things
of
that
nature
for
these
violators.
E
Don't
let
anybody
kid
you
these
these
things
are
very
unsafe,
in
addition
to
being
very
troubling-
and
you
know
you're
sitting
in
your
home,
watching
tv
and
you're
hearing
all
the
screeching
of
tires
and
everything
else
going
on
out
there.
E
If
you
have
a
route
out-
and
it's
open
at
that
moment
in
time,
then
by
all
means
take
it,
but
if
you're
really
stuck
or
trapped
in
the
middle
of
one
of
these
things,
just
just
lock
your
vehicle
and
stand
by
we
are
coming,
but
we're
going
to
do
it
in
a
coordinated
response.
Like
I
explained
a
few
minutes
ago,
and
so
again
we
will
continue
to
monitor
these.
They
are
going
on
all
across
the
county,
not
just
in
inglewood,
and
it's
really
a
national
problem.
E
E
So
we
may,
we
may
end
up,
go
we
call
it
forensically,
looking
back
at
the
scene
and
then
capturing
that
information
and
then
at
a
later
time,
going
to
pick
up
that
vehicle
and
pound
it
or
whatever
the
case
may
be,
because
that's
these
individuals,
that's
all
they
really
care
about,
is
if
they
lose
their
vehicle,
because
that's
everything
to
them.
E
So
I
just
wanted
to
bring
that
out
and
it
seems,
like
everybody
shook
their
head
when
I
mentioned
street
takeovers,
and
I
know
that
traffic
is
always
a
big
concern
and
you
know
officers
again
based
on
some
of
the
questions
that
you
had.
We
will
respond
to
some
of
those
via
email
or
text,
or
we
will
respond
back
to
those
through
the
lieutenant
nicole
loudermilk,
I'm
sure
you're
familiar
with
nicole.
E
She
is
the
lieutenant
that
I
have
assigned
to
this
district.
Each
district
has
a
lieutenant
that
is
assigned
to
it
so,
but
as
far
as
traffic
enforcement,
we're
always
out
here,
you
know
enforcing
traffic.
If
we
see
people
committing
traffic
violations,
we're
gonna,
pull
them
over,
give
them
a
citation
and
so
forth.
E
What
I
always
say
about
this-
and
I
just
went
through
this
with
the
school
district
in
a
meeting
I
was
before
I
came
here-
they
asked
us
to
increase
our
presence
in
a
at
a
particular
school
and
sure.
Lo
and
behold,
which
always
happens,
some
of
the
parents
dropping
off,
some
kids
ended
up
getting
stopped
and
getting
a
ticket
because
they
ran
the
you
know
they
rolled
through
the
stop
sign
or
whatever
the
case
may
be.
E
That's
the
only
caveat
when
we
come,
we
we
we
don't
distinguish
between
who
lives
next
door
or
whatever
we
just
enforce
the
rules
assume
you
know,
obviously
assuming
that
there's
a
violation.
So
I
wanted
to
point
that
out
to
you
so
we'll
be
there,
but
just
remember
we're
there,
because
we
have
to
cite
any
residents,
but
you
know,
hopefully
everybody.
F
Four
seasons
where
fans
would
get
accustomed
going
to
the
coliseum
and
they
would
get
accustomed
going
to
the
coliseum
by
transit
that
there's
a
stop
along
the
x
line,
both
at
figueroa
and
another
stop
at
vermont
and
I
went
to
the
mayor.
We
had
actually
kind
of
queued
this
up
the
week
before
and
said
you
know.
F
We
didn't
know
if
it's
going
to
be
the
charges
of
the
raiders,
but
not
just
so
the
fans
could
get
in
and
out,
but
so
folks
could
continue
to
move
around
the
city
16
consecutive
weeks
in
the
fall
the
very
next
day
after
that
announcement
is
made
the
man
the
mayor
reaches
out
to
phil
washington,
who
is
then
the
ceo
of
metro
and
the
mayor
says
phil.
You
know
if
the
rams
move
blah
blah
blah
they're
going
to
have
a
stop
at
the
expo
line,
and
I
need
to
start
today.
F
So
this
is
the
tuesday
after
the
rams
have
announced.
He
says
I
need
to
start
today
to
figure
out
how
we
bring
a
transit
system
that
serves
this
stadium
and
the
70
000
fans
who
will
be
coming
in
and
out
of
the
stadium
and
that
day,
phil
washington.
You
know,
phil
wasn't
necessarily
from
los
angeles.
Phil
said:
we've
got
to
start
an
initial
study
and
it's
that
initial
study,
which
we
then
called
like.
F
We
named
it
the
goal
line
task
force,
but
it
allowed
us
to
begin
the
funding
process
and
these
things
are
a
process
and
it
allowed
us
to
begin
the
process
that
has
now
secured
close
to
400
million
dollars
in
state
and
local
funds
towards
the
goal
of
having
a
fully
funded
project,
which
is
going
to
be
a
little
bit
north
of
1
billion
billion.
Here,
a
billion
there,
we're
used
to
it
now
in
englewood
that
started
the
process
to
secure
this
project
that
I'm
going
to
talk
about
right
now.
F
That's
going
to
be
the
lax
screenshot
line
is
going
to
be
at
market
in
florence
and
it
is
going
to
come
down
market
street
hard
left
on
manchester
hard
on
prairie
to
serve
the
downtown
inglewood
area
service,
the
kia
forum,
a
couple
of
things
going
on
in
the
middle
and
hopefully
to
get
down
to
what
will
be
to
a
dome
where
the
basket
where
the
clippers
will
play
so
part
of
what
this
itc
also
does
is
it's
a
destination
connector
and
because
it
would
be
it
would
link
to
crenshaw.
F
You
would
be
able
to
take
one
trip
from
the
hollywood
area.
You'll
also
be
connecting
at
the
exposition
line,
which
takes
you
to
santa
monica,
takes
you
downtown
and
eventually
connects
to.
What
will
another
project
in
the
making
is
a
light
rail
extension
into
torrance?
But
this
lake
would
connect
all
those
aspects
of
the
region
and
includes
some
of
the
most
notable
destinations,
entertainment
destinations
in
los
angeles
county
next
slide.
F
F
F
I
I
I
for
those
of
you
at
home.
I
have
a.
I
have
an
attentive
audience
in
front
of
me
and,
like
I
said,
it's
so
good
to
see
people
in
person,
and
I
also
have
got
glance
over
my
shoulder
to
to
just
look
at
the
slides,
but
the
key
being
that
much
of
the
chagrin
of
our
our
friends,
our
neighbors
in
downtown
los
angeles,
who.
F
F
My
guess
is
it'll
be
very
much
like
the
automated
people
mover
that
they're
building
now
at
the
airport,
but
intended
to
be
light
rail
and
again
it's
about
1.6
miles
and
for
those
of
you
who
can't
see,
I
I
called
out
what
the
what
the
route
was,
but
again
manchester
down
to
service
the
prairie
corridor.
Perhaps
one
of
the
most
valuable
one-mile
stretches
in
the
country
right
now,
with
roughly
eight
billion
dollars
of
investment
in
the
last
10
years.
F
That's
pretty
phenomenal
next
slide,
so
you
know
we
one
of
the
things
that
we
think
about,
always
when
we,
when
we
talk
about
these
kind
of
structures
and
construction
coming
in
is,
what's
that
mean
to
the
the
environment
that
we
already
have
on
market
street?
What's
that
mean
to
manchester,
so
do
know
that
we
look
to
do
this
with
minimal
impacts,
that
one
of
the
reasons
why
we
will
go,
we
will
likely
be
elevated
very
mindful
that
we
want
to
be
sure
that
this
project
improves
our
community.
F
We
hear
a
lot
about
what
are
the
construction
impacts
are
going
to
be.
We
are
already
working
with
metro.
Metro
has
a
business
what's
called
a
business
assistance
program
for
small
businesses
that
might
be
impacted,
that's
a
model!
That's
already
in
place.
We
look
to
bring
that
here.
We
look
to
start
really
getting
out
there
and
meeting
with
folks
to
be
sure
again
that
this
project
is
a
benefit
to
everyone
in
the
community,
business
and
residential
and
last
slide,
so
there's
some
design
standards.
F
These
are
some
images
of
other
places
where
we
have
automated
people.
Movers,
where
we're
very
mindful
of
what
our
ground
environment
is
we're
very
mindful,
as
they
were
designed
what
the
retail
area
looked
like
out
again
towards
the
goal
to
be
sure
that
this
is
not
an
edifice
that
that
looms
over
us,
but
instead
state-of-the-art
technology
that
facilitates
economic
development
and
transportation
and
one
more
it's
our
construction
commitment
program.
I
mentioned.
I
mentioned
the
business
assistance
program
that
will
be
modeled
after
metro.
F
We
also
will
have
a
traffic
management
plan,
aggressive
air
quality
and
monitoring
construction
monitoring
again,
to
be
sure
that
we
are
a
good
neighbor
throughout
our
construction
process
and
our
business
and
community
support
program
next
slide.
F
So
I
mentioned
the
business
assistance
fund
right
now,
there's
targeted
it's
probably
a
five
million
dollar
program
to
help
with
everything
from
facade
improvement,
upgrades
to
facilities,
but
potential
relocation,
business
investment-
and
I
will
tell
you
this
team-
is
looking
very
aggressively,
particularly
at
state
and
federal
programs,
to
be
sure
that
that
that
we
are
helping
businesses
that
are
going
to
be
impacted
to
continue
to
do
business
and
expand
their
businesses
and
grow
their
businesses
to
to
the
extent
possible-
and
this
will
be
the
last
one
and
that's
the
last
one.
F
So
that's
the
overview
of
the
inglewood
transit
connector.
There
is
lots
going
on
there.
We
are,
as
I
said,
very
mindful,
that
we
are
moving
at
a
fast
pace
but
again
towards
the
goal
of
having
it
done
for
2028.
F
We
are
very
much
interested
in
coming
out
and
speaking
to
any
homeowners
groups,
any
organization
that
you
have
where
you
want
to
be
briefed
on
this
and
in
the
interest
of
knowing
that
there's
a
couple
of
other
things
going
on
tonight.
I
just
want
to
let
you
know
that
that
we
will
come
out
and
give
this
presentation
and
dive
a
bit
deeper
into
any
questions
that
you
have
as
it
relates
to
business.
Relocation
as
it
relates
to
construction
integration
programs.
F
We
are
wanting
to
do
that,
so
I
also
have
the
honor
of
working
on
two
projects
this
year
in
inglewood
and
the
other
project
we're
working
on
is
a
some
of
you
might
remember.
25
years
faa
had
some
vacant
land
down
on
the
corner,
prairie
and
century.
Wasn't
a
lot
going
on.
G
F
And
you
know
all
of
a
sudden
they're
like
well,
what
could
we
possibly
do?
There
steve
bomber
comes
in
he's
tired
of
playing
at
staples
center
and
lo
and
behold,
where
is
there's
possible
acreage
to
build
an
arena
in
l.a
county
that
fits
all
this
vision
that
steve
bomber
has
and
it
is
at
the
corner
of
so
now
I'm
I'm
wondering
when
I
was
go.
I
was
going
into
a
dome,
but
am
I
supposed
to
be
taking
bye?
F
F
F
F
For
over
25
years,
the
federal
aviation
administration
controlled
about
22
acres
at
the
corner
of
century
and
prairie.
Once
again,
the
city
got
ahead
of
this
and
realized.
We
want
to
control
that
property
for
next,
let's
just
say
the
the
next,
and
that
leads
to
steve
ballmer,
identifying
that
property
two
miles
from
the
airport.
You
know
along
the
prairie
corridor
online
for
light
rail
wants
to
build
an
arena.
F
That
arena
is
next
about
1.8
billion
dollars,
18
000
seats,
mr
bomber
went,
I
understand
over
80
arenas
in
the
country
to
see
what
worked,
what
he
liked
about
arenas
and
he
sat
in
various
seats
in
all
these
arenas.
It's
an
amazing
story,
and
so
what
you're
going
to
find
when
that
arena
opens?
Is
that
it's
a
lot
steeper
in
terms
of
where
the
seats
are
so
you're?
A
lot
closer
to
the
floor?
There's
an
incredible
plaza!
That's
going
to
be
open
to
the
public
365
days
a
year.
F
It's
going
to
include
outdoor
monitors
to
be
able
to
watch
games.
There
are
going
to
be
basketball
courts.
In
addition
to
that,
part
of
this
program
includes
a
75
million
dollar
community
benefits
program,
and
it
you
can
see
it
I
mean
if
you
drive
down
prairie
and
century,
you
see
it.
It
is
coming
out
of
the
ground.
There's
you
know
parking
lots
across
on
the
east
side
of
prairie
the
the
pieces
that
are
going
on
right
now
that
are
of
impact
to
all
of
us.
F
I
will
tell
you:
is
prairie
avenue,
you'll
notice,
increasingly
prairie
is
being
reduced
to
one
lane
that
is
going
to
continue
for
a
while.
Some
of
that
work
will
move
down
towards
imperial.
It
has
an
awful
lot
to
do
with
utility
relocation
sewer
line
relocation
that
type
of
construction
that
has
to
take
has
to
happen
underneath
the
arena
to
accommodate
18
000
fans
and
some
of
whom
may
be
having
beer
so
sewer
relocation,
and
all
of
that
is
important.
F
That
work
is
ongoing.
Now
it
is
coming
that
project
will
be
completed
in
time
for
the
2024
season
and
at
that
time
the
clippers
will
no
longer
be
sharing
a
home
with
you
know
our
other
favorite
basketball
team
in
town,
and
I
and
and
in
fact
that
is
that
that
is
the
commitment
that
mr
bomber
and
the
clippers
organization
have
brought
to
inglewood.
There's
a
35
local
hiring
goal.
There
is
a
local
business,
hiring
goal.
F
H
H
There
we
go
all
right,
so
I'm
here
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
sofi
stadium
in
hollywood
park.
I
know
to
date,
you've
probably
heard
a
lot
about
sofi
stadium
as
a
whole.
I've
been
asked
to
focus
a
little
bit
more
on
the
retail
district
as
that's
going
to
come
online
here
pretty
soon,
but
I'll
give
a
brief
overview.
Sofi
stadium
hollywood
park
in
the
grounds
a
little
bit
so
sofi
stadium,
sits
on
60
acres
of
land.
H
It
has
essentially
three
structures:
the
bowl,
the
roof
and
a
mechanically
stabilized
earth
wall
main
features
of
the
stadium.
You
got
70
200
seats,
roughly
3
million
square
feet
of
usable
space
inside
we've
hosted
a
number
of
football
games
as
you've.
Seen
as
we
said,
you
know
the
super
bowl
champion
la
rams
just
played
there,
so
lots
of
games
lots
of
football
that
happens
there
outside
of
that.
H
Oh,
I
didn't
even
skip.
Well,
I
guess
I
kind
of
did
an
introduction.
My
name
is
jason
witt,
I'm
the
senior
director
for
community
affairs
and
engagement
for
sofi
stadium
in
hollywood
park.
What
that
encompasses
is
our
philanthropy
strategy,
local
hiring
outreach
and
initiatives,
as
well
as
local
business
initiatives
and
minority
disadvantaged
veteran
owned
women
owned
lgbtq,
plus
all
the
alphabet
soup
of
businesses.
You
know
how
do
we
get
them
involved
in
what
we're
doing
at
hollywood
park?
H
So
that's
what
my
department
oversees,
as
we
said,
so
that's
a
kind
of
a
brief
overview
of
the
stadium.
You
have
our
infinity
screen,
presented
by
samsung,
just
lots
of
extremely
fun
things
that
are
happening
at
the
stadium
and
I'll
point.
A
few
of
those
out
just
for
your
own.
Your
own
awareness,
as
we
move
along
there's,
also
youtube
theater
youtube.
H
Theater
is
a
six
thousand
seat
performance
venue,
as
the
mayor
stated
earlier,
that
gets
used
quite
frequently
on
weekends,
so
you'll
probably
have
noticed
if
you
sign
up
for
any
of
the
the
traffic
alerts,
you'll
be
getting
you
get,
those
from
youtube,
theater
and
probably
a
lot
from
the
forum
as
well.
So
so
you
can
get
traffic
updates
on
anything.
That's
happening
at
sofi
youtube,
theater,
fantastic
place
like
I
said,
six
thousand
seats,
lots
of
events
that
take
place
at
that
arena.
H
If
and
we're
gonna
have
a
link
to
our
website,
you
know
through
the
presentations
as
you'll,
see
the
rest
of
the
ground.
So
we'll
talk
a
little
bit
about
retail,
but
I'll
talk
about
some
upcoming
events
right
now,
so
we
can
go
to
the
next
slides.
H
So
the
first
thing
I'll
talk
about
is
the
kinsey
collection,
so
the
kinsey
collection
at
sofi
stadium
in
hollywood
park
is
current.
It's
currently
being
featured
at
sofi
stadium
down
on
the
google
cloud
club
and
suites
level.
Two,
it
is
one
of
the
most
robust
art
art
history
collections
in
the
world
started
by
bernard
and
shirley
kinsey.
They
are
have
been
a
fantastic
family
to
work
with
and
we've
had
the
collection
there
since
february
late
february
of
this
year,
going
through
june
19th.
H
So
if
anybody
is
still
interested
in
coming
to
see
it
tickets
start
at
15,
but
for
inglewood
residents
12
dollars
a
ticket,
we
are
open,
tuesday
or
thursday
and
friday.
Excuse
me,
thursday
and
friday
from
12
to
5
and
then
on
the
weekends.
It's
open
from
10
a.m,
to
6
p.m,
main
events
that
are
coming
to
sophie
stadium.
H
Just
for
your
awareness,
so
you
have
paul
mccartney
that'll
be
their
may
13th,
that's
roughly
a
45,
000
seat
show
so
just
being
prepared
for
that
and
then
grupo
ferme
who's
going
to
be
towards
the
end
of
the
month
of
may.
That's
may
28th
and
29th.
H
And
then
we'll
talk
a
little
bit
about
retail.
I
know
I'm
moving
kind
of
quickly
apologize
for
my
my
the
person
that
has
to
move
the
slides
along.
H
H
So
we
have
some
renderings
and
how
quickly
that's
going
to
be
coming
online
here
for
the
city
of
inglewood,
so
opening
the
grand
opening
is
slated
for
spring
of
2023.,
some
of
the
tenants
that
you'll
see
moving
in
there
that
we
have
confirmed
and
announced
garden
by
three
weavers,
so
lynn
weaver,
who
has
an
inglewood
business
right
now,
is
going
to
be
opening
up
another
location
at
the
retail
district
at
hollywood
park
called
garden.
H
H
Red
bay,
coffee
you'll
have
cenopolis,
which
is
a
luxury
movie
theater,
so
that'll
be
one
of
the
first
things
that
comes
online
is
sinopolis,
that
luxury
movie
chain
iconics
fitness
center,
so
there'll
be
a
gym.
Long,
beach
based
gym,
that's
gonna,
be
opening
up
a
second
location
at
hollywood
park,
grilled
fresh,
we'll,
be
opening
up
a
location
here
as
well
residency
art
gallery,
so
they're
gonna
be
opening
up.
H
Another
location,
in
addition
to
their
downtown
englewood
location,
they'll,
be
opening
up
another
one
at
the
at
the
the
retail
district
at
hollywood
park,
rvcc
intersect,
which
is
going
to
be
kind
of
a
multi-use.
It's
it's
kind
of
a
collection
of
companies
and
you'll
see
a
number
of
the
different
things
that
they
do.
But
touching
you
know,
multiple
different
industries
and
they'll
have
a
space
there
and
then
grocery
store
to
be
determined
or
to
be
announced.
H
I
should
say
so:
there's
there
is
going
to
be
a
grocery
store
that
gets
slated
right
here
in
the
retail
district,
so
really
trying
to
make
it
something
where
anybody
and
everyone
can
get
everything
that
they
need
at
hollywood
park
right.
We
want
to
try
to
provide
new
niche
experiences
if
you
will
things
that
you
can't
get
anywhere
else,
except
for
in
inglewood.
H
We
wanted
people
to
be
able
to
fly
in
drive
in
and-
and
you
know
be
here
in
englewood
and
in
hollywood
park-
spending
their
money
and
providing
more
tax
dollars.
There
we
go
so
I
have
some
renderings
of
some
things
that
are
coming
up.
One
thing
that
will
be
really
cool,
so
there
will
be
a
basketball
court
that
also
features
some
pretty
incredible
outdoor
screens.
H
So
we
can
host
outdoor
movie
nights
for
the
community
as
well,
but
then
that
public
basketball
court-
you
know
that
was
one
of
the
things
that
was
mentioned
early
on-
is
having
safer
places
to
play
and
additional
spaces
to
play
so
being
able
to
provide
that
at
the
retail
district
right
in
the
mix
where
you
can
go
like
we
said,
go,
buy
your
groceries,
go
shopping,
go,
do
all
those
things
and
then
you'll
also
have
a
local
basketball
court
that
will
be
right
there
on
site
and
then
some
more
renderings
of
just
some
of
the
promenades
in
different
spaces.
H
So
really
trying
to
go,
for
I
I
say
the
an
advanced
grove
right
because
you
know
we're
inglewood,
so,
city
of
champions,
we
do
championship
level
things,
so
we
want
to
really
upgrade
and
elevate
everything
that
we
build
to
make
sure
that
it
is
a
reflection
of
our
community
and
you
know
more
places
to
sit
more
promenades,
more
community
activation
spaces.
H
You
know
one
of
the
things
is,
we
know
we
have
a
community
that
loves
to
get
out
and
walk
go
for
walks,
especially
around
lake
park,
once
that
is
opened
up
as
well
as
through
the
promenades
as
well,
so
finding
those
places
where
people
can
congregate
and
then
we'll
keep
it
on
going
just
more
renderings
of
some
of
the
different
shops
like
we
said,
really
trying
to
find
a
niche
here
in
inglewood
and
provide
things
that
people
can't
get
any
other
place
and
then
the
next
we'll
talk
a
little
bit
about
some
of
our
artwork.
H
That's
going
to
be
going
up
or
has
already
actually
been
installed
in
the
mural
program
here.
So
you
know,
as
we
talk
about
public
art,
we
want
to
make
sure
that
we're
impacting
the
culture
and
reflecting
the
culture
of
inglewood
and
enhancing
it
as
much
as
we
can.
So
you
have
a
jeff
mcfedrich,
who
has
a
a
very
large
scale,
installation
that
went
up.
You
have
kalitta
rawls,
who
you
may
see
she's
been
featured
on.
H
She
actually
did
the
cover
for
one
of
tanahasi
coates
books,
she's
been
doing
a
lot
of
traveling
recently
for
a
lot
of
her
work,
features
folks
or
african
americans
submerged
in
water
really
and
kind
of
the
the
elevation
of
african
americans
out
of
water.
But
that's
going
to
be
featured
inside
of
the
retail
district.
That's
up
now
as
well,
and
then
e
fowler,
who
has
this
this
kind
of
branding
put
up
the
difference
is
spreading
so
artwork
to
be
coming
online.
H
There's
going
to
be
a
number
of
other
things
that
we'll
talk
about
as
they
get
completed,
but
different
places,
different
ways
that
we're
going
to
impact
the
city
of
englewood
and
the
culture
here
and
then,
if
you
want
to
learn
more,
so
we
do
have
a
it's
a
business
to
business
type
website,
which
is
hollywoodparklife.com.
H
That
goes
into
a
lot
of
what
the
different
businesses
that
are
going
to
be
featured
there.
If
folks
are
interested
in
asking
about
retail
space
in
the
retail
district,
there's
there's
there's
information
that
you
can
find
on
the
website
also
with
residences.
I
know
there's
been
questions
about
that,
so
you
can
get.
You
can
put
your
inquiries
in
about
some
of
the
residential
that's
going
to
be
built
on
top
of
a
lot
of
this
retail
and
adjacent
to
the
retail.
H
H
H
Thank
you
next
slide.
So
how
are
we
impacting
the
community
right?
So
it's
been
a
roughly
two
years:
we've
been
trying
to
we've
been
doing
a
couple
of
pilot
programs
and,
as
we
know,
the
pandemic
has
affected
a
lot
of
things
that
are
happening
in
the
community.
H
You
know
how
do
you
go
out
and
do
community
work
when
you
can't
really
go
out
and
nobody
else
is
going
out,
so
we've
been
trying
to
find
different
ways,
but
now
that
we're
kind
of
coming
coming
around
the
corner
from
the
pandemic,
my
goal
and
my
team's
goal
as
well
as
the
company
is:
how
do
we
impact
you
know
the
the
residents
and
and
the
folks
that
are
here
coming
to
visit
as
well
as
live
in
englewood,
so
we've
been
doing
a
lot
of
work
with
the
schools,
so
we've
been
going
into
englewood,
unified
school
district
and
working
with
them,
so
we
did
read
across
america
day
this
past
march.
H
We
brought
roughly
200
kids
from
la
tijera
elementary
in
middle
school.
They
took
a
field
trip,
they
came
to
sofie
stadium
and
you
know
we
we
turned
on
the
video
board
and
you
know
we
read
them
books.
H
We
read
them
some
books
and
we
took
them
through
the
kinsey
collection
and
we
had
khalil
kinsey
who's,
the
general
manager
and
curator
talk
to
the
students
and
really
impart
upon
them.
How
important
it
is
that
they
know
their
history
and
know
the
history
of
african
americans
in
general,
because
it
is
u.s
history,
so
you
know
trying
to
find
these
different
ways
of
impacting
the
community,
especially
through
education
and
health
and
wellness.
H
Those
are
some
really
big,
really
big
key
initiatives
that
we
have
at
hollywood
park
so
really
happy
to
be
able
to
do
that,
and
one
of
the
ways
that
we
know
is
to
you
have
to
make
kids
understand
that
education
is
is
as
important
as
sport,
which
is
why
we
do
you
know
turn
on
the
video
board.
You
turn
on
the
sound
the
lights
flash
same
thing
that
they
saw
for
the
super
bowl.
We
want
them
to
see
when
it
comes
for
education,
so
that's
what
we
try
to
do.
H
The
other
thing
that
we
did.
We
worked
with
kelso.
We
rebuilt
their
community
garden
over
there
at
kelso
elementary
school,
and
we
want
to
continue
to
do
these
throughout
all
the
different
elementary
schools
here
in
inglewood,
folks
that
have
community
gardens
and
those
that
want
community
gardens.
It's
part
of
our
sustainability
pledge
that
we
have
so
we're
going
to
travel
to
a
number
of
different
campuses.
H
You
know
plant
flowers,
plant,
goo
plants
redoing
their
their
gardens
if
they
have
community
gardens
and
bring
in
our
partners
to
help
support
that
we
did
that
in
conjunction
with
the
nfl.
The
nfl
green
team
helped
us
support
this
initiative
and
just
really
want
to
continue
this
and
keep
going
to
show
kids
sustainability
and
education
working
hand
in
hand.
You
know
how
how
do
these
things?
How
can
they
grow
their
own
food?
H
You
can
grow
your
own
food,
you
can
eat
it
and
it's
important
for
you
to
see
where
it
comes
from
right
and
how
can
you
take
care
of
it
because
we
only
got
one
planet?
We
got
to
take
care
of
it.
The
other
thing
next
slide,
no
perfect.
So
every
saturday
we
host
in
conjunction
with
cedar
sinai
as
well
as
with
miss
claudine
cooper
hollywood
park,
moves
so
free
workout
class
saturdays
at
8
00
a.m.
She
does
some
hit
workouts
or
some
some
pretty
good.
H
I
mean
they're
a
little
intense.
I
they
just
did.
We
just
did
a
kids
day
this
past
saturday,
and
you
know
I
brought
my
kids
out
and
they
were
you
know,
learning
how
to
stretch
and
doing
all
the
and
seeing
seeing
a
large
group
of
people,
as
you
can
see
here.
You
know,
coming
out
and
working
out
together,
really
gives
you
energy
and
and
provides
a
sense
of
community
and
that's
what
we
wanted
to
do.
H
We
want
to
inspire
folks
to
want
to
come
out
and
want
to
get
healthy
as
a
group
and
as
a
unit,
so
it
is
free
to
come
out.
It
is
saturdays
at
8..
So
if
you're
interested
please
come
on
out,
you
do
have
to
sign
a
waiver,
because
if
you
twist
your
ankle,
I
don't
want
you
to
call
me,
but
it
is
a
really
fun
thing
to
do
and
we
encourage
everyone
to
come
out.
You
know
we
we
can
get
healthy.
H
There's
modifications
to
all
of
the
exercises
that
she's
doing
so
you're,
not
too
young
you're.
Never
too
old,
you're,
never
too
in
the
middle
to
come
on
out
and
keep
pushing
keep
pushing
forward
with
the
healthy
stuff.
H
H
If
you
have
donation
requests,
donations
at
hollywoodparkca.com
send
them
all
to
that
email
address
hollywood
park
foundation
because
we
do
have
a
foundation
where
we
do
plan
on
starting
to
do
grants
for
nonprofit
organizations.
Scholarships
for
kids,
especially
as
it
works
in
conjunction
with
la
bowl,
which
is
an
event.
We
do
yearly
bowl
game
that
we
host
really
trying
to
impact
and
affect
teachers
and
students
as
well.
H
Just
this
past
year
we
gave
five
teachers,
five
englewood
teachers,
two
thousand
dollars
each
to
fund
their
programming-
that
they're
doing
at
a
number
of
different
middle
and
high
schools
here
in
englewood.
So
we
want
to
continue
those
programs
and
to
continue
to
add
folks
to
those
programs
so
always
happy
to
meet
and
learn
about
new
nonprofits
in
the
area.
H
And
then
a
lot
of
people
send
me
requests
for
private
events,
and
I
do
not
do
those
so
I'm
putting
the
information
here
where
you
can,
where
you
can
submit
your
request,
where
we
have
a
a
full
team.
Who
is
more
than
happy
to
talk
to
you
about
your
events
and
that's
sofistadium.com
private
dash
events.
H
D
I
Ceo,
so
I
was
asked
to
just
brief
you
guys
on
some
public
works
projects.
Again,
my
name
is
flynn.
Marine
I've
been
with
public
works
for
quite
a
while,
so
I'll
just
go
ahead
and
go
off.
My
notes
here
so
streets
are
gonna,
be
resurfaced.
I
I
I
So
with
that
said,
those
are
all
the
projects
we'll
be
doing.
If
you
guys
ever
have
pothole
requests
or
or
tree
trimming
request
street
repair.
Anything
like
that
the
numbers
are
310
412-534-0.
I
Okay
and
I'll
answer
any
questions
at
the
end
of
the
meeting.
If
you
guys
have
any,
and
thank
you
for
your
time.
D
G
G
We
have
a
contract
with
the
city
of
inglewood
to
provide
parking
and
traffic
enforcement
throughout
the
city,
and
I'm
going
to
leave
you
two
phone
numbers,
one
number,
because
it
often
comes
up
about
how
do
you?
How
do
you
reach
dispatch
to
have
a
parking
enforcement
come
out
and
deal
with
somebody
parking
in
your
driveway
or
other
illegal
type
parking?
G
The
second
thing
is,
as
you
know,
yeah:
okay,
it's
area
code,
310,
412-8731,.
G
Now,
secondly,
as
you
all
know,
the
city
has
a
city-wide
parking
permit
program
that
began
about
a
year
ago
and
not
really
new
to
the
city
back
in
1982
is
when
actually
the
program
began,
but
it
was
limited
to
areas
surrounding
hollywood
park
and
the
forum
at
that
time,
but
all
it's
done
is
really
expanded
throughout
the
rest
of
the
city
program
is
exactly
like
los
angeles,
culver
city,
manhattan,
beach,
west
hollywood,
very
similar
program.
G
I'm
going
to
give
you
the
phone
number
to
several
clerks
that
are.
Are
experts
in
that
permit
parking
program
and
can
answer
any
questions
that
you
have
can
help
you
log
on
and
get
the
permits
for
your
cars,
it's
a
virtual
system.
So
it's
not
like
there's
a
hang
tag.
That's
going
to
hang
on
your
rear
view,
mirror
everything
is
done.
G
Virtual,
the
enforcement
cars
have
cameras
on
board
and
computers
and,
as
they
drive
along
they'll,
know
which
cars
belong
and
which
cars
don't
now
most
of
it
is
to
relieve
the
neighborhoods
that
surround
the
entertainment
district
hollywood
park,
sofi
stadium,
the
forum
and
soon
to
be
intuit
dome,
so
that
these
cars,
these
enforcement
cars,
will
will
know
which
vehicles
are
fans
that
are
parking
in
your
neighborhood
and
walking
or
ubering
to
the
venue,
and
so
these
cars
will
be
cited
and
there
there
is
the
option
to
to
have
a
towed
if
necessary.
G
I
want
you
to
know
that
the
permit
parking
program
was
never
developed
to
hurt
the
residents
and
cause
problems
for
the
residents.
There's
a
lot
of
information
out
there.
That
is
just
not
correct,
and
so
our
clerks
can
help.
You
address
those
questions
on
entertainment,
nights
where
the
forum
or
sofi
is
active.
G
I
circulate
the
neighborhoods
and
make
sure
that
the
parking
enforcement
officers
are
getting
around
the
neighborhoods
to
make
sure
there's
not
issues.
So
there's
very
little,
I
don't
know
that's
what's
happening
out
there.
This
the
success
story
is-
and
I
recently
had
a
conversation
with
not
only
the
police
chief
but
the
mayor
as
well.
G
The
neighborhood
just
west
of
the
forum,
and
so
far,
usually
during
events
you'd
be
lucky
to
be
able
to
get
down
the
street
people
double
parking,
just
parking
in
the
middle
of
the
street,
but
believe
it
or
not.
You
can
drive
down
those
streets
now
during
a
forum
event
and
actually
find
parking
every
arena
and
major
stadium
throughout
the
country
that
the
police
department
and
the
police
chief
visited
everyone.
G
There
are
some
neighborhoods
that
we
don't
generally
enforce
on
a
routine
basis
because,
like
any
program,
the
city
is
finding
that
some
neighborhoods
that
were
expected
to
be
really
impacted
have
not
been
impacted
and
others
have
others
more
than
the
other.
So
a
lot
of
flexibility
here
and
I've
yet
to
have
a
situation
where,
when
I'm
talking
to
a
resident
that
we
haven't
been
able
to
solve
their
problem.
G
So
a
lot
of
flexibility
there's
been
a
lot
of
adjustments
made
by
your
your
city,
council
members
and
the
whole
thing
is
to
try
and
make
it
so
that
if
you,
whatever
street,
that
you
live
on
that
you're
able
to
park
your
cars
in
front
of
your
house,
I
had
a
call
with
a
businessman
not
too
long
ago,
and
he
called
me
and
he
said,
look
I
was
referred
to
your
number
and
I
was
told
that
you
can
help
me
get
permits,
and
I
said
how
many
are
you
looking
for
and
he
said
I
need
12.
G
and
I
said
you
drive
12
cars
and
he
says
no,
I
drive
six,
but
I've
got
my
work.
Trucks
and,
I
said,
tell
me
where
you
parked
those
trucks
and
he
says
well,
I
park
them
out
in
the
street
and
I
said
well,
how
do
your
neighbors
feel
and
he
says?
Oh,
they
don't
complain
and
I
said
well,
you
know
I
don't
know
I
mean
now
is
not
the
day
really
where
a
lot
of
people
go
to
their
neighbor
and
start
complaining
about
their
cars
without
maybe
getting
punched
in
the
nose.
G
So,
anyway,
we
had
a
long
talk
on
the
phone
and
he
finally
agreed.
He
says
yeah
you're
right.
He
says
to
be
honest
with
you.
I
have
been
getting
notes
on
the
trucks
about
can't
you
please
find
some
place
that
you
can
park
these
so
that
I
can
park
in
front
of
my
house
and
so
anyway.
So
a
lot
of
it's
just
we
talk
things
talk
things
through,
but
again,
there's
not
an
occasion
where
I
don't
think
we
can
help
you.
G
So
those
are
the
two
important
phone
numbers
and
again
all
the
events
that
happen,
whether
it's
sofi
or
the
forum
I'm
out
there
we've
got
a
crew
of
about
somewhere
in
the
neighborhood
of
about
30
enforcement
officers,
helping
direct
the
traffic
and
deal
with
the
parking
problems
we're
there
to
help.
You
give
us
a
call
if,
if
you
need
us,
thank
you.
D
Great
team-
thank
you
well,
certainly
that
was
the
heartbeat
of
a
number
of
us
wanting
to
have
some
of
those
answers
quickly.
So
with
on
the
tonight,
we
had
hoped
that
we
would
have
an
opportunity
to
hear
from
our
school
board
representative,
but
what
we
need
is
a
more
of
a
dedicated
time
to
that
topic.
I
did
hear
from
her
this
afternoon.
She
is
willing
to
come
out
and
engage
the
community
in
a
future
meeting.
D
She
has
also
indicated
in
her
response
to
me
that
she
will
reach
out
to
councilman
dotson
and
set
some
time
to
speak
with
him.
She
has
not
done
that
to
this
point,
but
her
intention
is
to
do
that.
They
will
connect
so
that
he
has
is
better
informed
as
to
how
she
voted
and
what
it
is
that
she
is
planning
for
those
of
us
that
have
great
concern
for
what's
happening
at
warren
lane.
D
So
that
certainly
is
a
topic
that
requires
much
engagement
from
us
that
have
concern
as
community
members
and
her
plan
is
to
get
with
our
councilmen
and
then
to
in
turn
get
with
us
so
that
we
can
explore
that
topic
in
more
detail.
There's
some
sheets
in
the
back.
We
will
have
a
few
minutes,
but
it
chris
planning.
J
Hello,
how
are
you
guys
doing
all
right?
I
I'm
supposed
to
move
over
this
way.
Okay,
because
they
are
so
I'm
gonna
grab
my
paperwork
with
me,
real,
quick.
There
you
go
good
evening,
everybody!
J
It
is
great
to
be
here,
it's
fantastic
to
be
in
this
environment
again,
where
we
have
an
opportunity
to
see
each
other.
Many
of
you
look
well
it's
good
to
see
a
lot
of
the
faces
that
I've
seen
over
the
years.
I
want
to
thank
first
of
all,
councilman
dotson
for
the
opportunity
to
be
able
to
come
before
you
and
talk
about
what's
going
on
in
my
department.
J
I
want
to
see
who's
paying
attention
who's
paying
attention.
Oh
there
you
go
some
of
y'all
thought
you
were
whittier
the
great
the
great
city
of
inglewood,
one
one
of
the
things
that
is
exciting
about
this
city.
I've
been
with
the
city
now
for
about
14
years
and
have
an
opportunity
to
be
able
to
see
the
city
from
where
it
was
14
years
ago,
where
it
is
right
now
is
absolutely
phenomenal.
J
Seeing
the
transformation
seeing
a
lot
of
the
issues
that
we
once
talked,
you
know
viciously
about,
if
you
will
now
being
solved
and
new
issues
coming
on
the
rising,
because
any
city
that
is
evolving
such
as
the
city
of
inkwood,
has
that
those
issues
that
come
up.
I
think
it's
all
important
that
we
we
embrace
those
issues
embrace
those
changes
and
those
dynamics
and
try
and
figure
out
a
way
to
be
able
to
move
forward
in
a
way
where
everyone
is
included
in
the
process.
J
So
I
want
to
thank
you
councilman
for
the
opportunity
to
come
here
and
really
your
great
team,
gwen
gwen's,
doing
a
fantastic
job.
Alicia
does
a
fantastic
job
to
make
sure
that
we're
serving
the
constituents
in
in
your
district
and
helping
solve
the
issues
that
come
up
and
and
really
celebrate
the
victories.
You
know
one
of
the
things
I
did
say.
J
I
was
talking
earlier
to
a
group
that
we
brought
out
the
uli,
which
is
a
urban
land
institute,
doing
a
study
along
central
boulevard,
and
I
said
you
know
we
want
to
celebrate
the
things
that
we've
done
and
how
far
we've
come,
and
you
have
to
acknowledge
that
and
that
allows
you
to
be
able
to
kind
of
step
back
recalibrate
and
then
be
able
to
move
forward.
J
What
I
did
was
I
put
together
a
major
projects
update
some
of
you
have
seen
it
before
it's
kind
of
a
cool
little
thing
about
three
pages,
long
talks
about
all
the
projects
where
they
are
some
of
them.
You've
heard
about
already,
and
so
let
me
let
me
back
up
real
quick,
because
my
title
doesn't
necessarily
give
you
in
the
case
of
what
I
actually
do.
I
oversee
I
oversee
yeah
everything
right
everything
yeah,
I
I
oversee
four
divisions
in
my
department.
J
One
is
planning
some
of
you
have
done
any
kind
of
work
on
your
homes
and
had
to
go
through
that
process.
I
see
a
few
heads
nodding.
Yes,
yes,
so
planning
gets
involved
with
that
in
the
land
use
entitlement
side,
then
there's
building
if
you've
ever
done
any
construction
on
your
home.
It
comes
to
one
of
my
divisions,
so
if
you've
done
anything
like
adus
or
adding
onto
your
house
or
doing
anything
major
remodel,
that's
come
through
my
department
as
well,
and
then
there
is
economic
development
which
is
really
about
business
attraction,
attention
and
expansion.
J
So
when
you
have
businesses,
you
may
have
seen
some
of
one
of
my
economic
development
managers
who
who
shared
information
about
how
to
grow
your
business.
That's
where
we
we
kind
of
partner
with
the
activities
going
on
in
the
city
kind
of
give
you
a
landscape
to
do
well
in
the
city
and
then
code
enforcement.
Those
two
wonderful,
looking
guys
back
there,
the
one
right
hand
right
now
is
our
is
our
code
enforcer
manager,
that's
jerry,
yeah
I'll!
J
Just
call
him
jerry
we're
going
by
one
name
tonight
jerry
and
then
this
is
one
of
our
newest
recruits.
We
stole
him
from
santa
monica
and
that's
that's
our
supervisor
lee.
So
those
two
gentlemen
kind
of
lead
up
the
effort
as
far
as
code
enforcement
is
concerned.
So
when
you
have
you
know,
some
of
y'all
got
neighbors
that
don't
want
to
act
right.
Anybody
got
any
neighbors
like
that.
Yeah
see.
E
J
I
I
J
They
won't
leave
that
trash.
They
will
see
that
they
want
that
car
sitting
out
in
front
of
the
front
area
for
ev
without
covering
or
watching
that's
what
code
to
be
able
to
address
those
particular
particular
issues.
So
the
major
project
projects
talk
about
all
the
things
that
are
going
on
in
the
city.
You
know
we
have
so
far.
Everybody
knows
about
that.
J
We
know
about
the
nfl
building
nfl
network
that
came
to
the
city
from
culver
city
and
they're
up
and
operational,
and
doing
partnership
programs
with
us
now
and
many
of
those
things
are
going
to
be
coming
forward
as
well.
How
about
yola?
Has
anybody
been
to
yola
building
yet?
Have
you
guys
been
to
yola?
Raise
your
hand
if
you've
been
a
yoda?
Shame
on
you,
inglewood?
J
We
thought
fought
to
get
the
youth
orchestra
of
los
angeles
to
come
here.
You
have
to
go
see
that
building
and
you
need
to
go.
Listen
to
some
of
the
performances
there's
some
exciting
events
that
are
coming
up
that
are
engaging
us
in
the
arts
and
music
arts
in
particular,
and
that
that
is
something
that
you
have
to
take
advantage
of
and
that
building
is
extreme.
It's
right
in
front
of
the
city
hall,
some
of
you
go
to
city
hall.
You
turn
right
by
it.
It's
okay!
J
Then
there
is
the
anybody
heard
about
this
thing
and
they
said
they
build
this
arena
for
basketball.
You
hear
anything
about
that.
Councilman,
a
little
bit
yeah
y'all
may
have
heard
about
that.
That's
the
intuit
dome
where
the
new
home
of
the
clippers
is
and
if
you've,
driven
by
there
you're,
probably
looking
at
it
look
kind
of
funny,
it's
a
big
hole
in
the
ground.
J
Well,
you're
doing
the
foundation
work,
for
it
is
coming
out
of
the
ground
very
soon
within
the
next
probably
six
months,
you'll
start
seeing
it
on
top,
just
like
stadium
coming
out
of
the
ground.
Very
similarly
you'll
see
the
intuit
dome
coming
out
as
well,
and
if
you
haven't
seen
that's
going
to
be
another
spectacle
that
we're
going
to
have
in
the
city.
We
have
the
form,
which
is
amazing.
We
have
sofi,
which
is
amazing.
J
We
have
the
new
office
complex,
that's
going
up
in
the
retail
that's
going
on,
that
is
amazing,
and
then
the
intuit
dome
is
just
going
to
be
icing
on
the
cape.
All
right.
We
have
some
hotels
that
are
being
planned
too.
So
a
bunch
of
new
hotels
for
those
of
you
going
to
be
trying
to
get
guests
to
come
in.
J
We
got
some
exciting
events
coming
up
over
the
next
several
years,
so
we
hope
to
have
a
number
of
hotels,
four
and
five-star
hotels
that
are
gonna,
be
here
for
your
your
some
of
you
to
even
go
hang
out
in,
like
I
do
every
now
and
then
just
go
hang
out
in
the
city.
You
know
some
that.
B
J
Actually
just
say
I
won't
leave
a
house,
let
me
just
go
to
a
hotel
and
we
have
some
really
really
wonderful
venues
that
are
planned
and
they're
going
to
be
coming
down
the
pipeline
and
then
finally
a
bunch
of
residential
projects.
I
mean
a
bunch,
so
we
have
about
1855
residential
units
in
the
queue
those
are
being
planned.
We
have
over
650
units
that
are
being
developed
right
now,
and
obviously
one
of
the
bigger
ones
is
our
inglewood.
G
J
Anybody
know
about
the
ingred
gateway
project
right
across
from
city
hall.
It's
that
building
that's
going
out
the
ground
off
a
market
like
what
is
it?
Well,
it's
it's
243
units
of
residential.
It's
about
50,
000
square
feet
of
commercial,
we're
going
to
have
a
neighborhood
target
there.
We
have
a
starbucks
there.
We
have
some
other
eateries
that
are
going
to
be
in
and
around
there
to
be
outdoor
real
cool
outdoor
area
with
the
little
fire
pit
and
all
that
kind
of
cool
stuff
so
know
you.
J
I
won't
have
to
go
to
playa
vista
anymore
to
get
that
you're
going
to
just
go
right,
downtown
inglewood
to
be
able
to
get
those
at
get
those
activities,
so
we're
excited
about
bringing
a
really
a
smorgasbord.
One
thing
I
heard
was
really
exciting.
I
talked
to
our
chairman
of
the
planning
commission.
J
I
J
Give
him
a
hand
there's
this
bit.
Y'all
have
been
a
food
for
less
than
a
century.
I've
been
a
food
for
less
than
a
century.
It's
pretty
bad.
Have
you
been
there
lately.
J
J
Lately,
it's
changed
so
if
you
haven't
a
lot
of
you,
I
know
you
think
in
the
past,
but
I
want
you
to
think
towards
the
future.
We
are
getting
these
businesses
to
start
turning
things
around
now.
There's
a
number
of
things.
I
think
that
we
cooperatively
need
to
do
and
strategize
and
talk
about
the
types
of
businesses
that
you'd
like
to
see
in
in
the
community
we're
going
to
work
through.
All
of
that
I
go
through
a
lot.
I
travel
a
lot
to
be
able
to
try
and
bring
those
businesses
here
to
the
city.
J
You
have
to
have
that
conversation,
so
I'm
excited
about
the
fact
that
all
of
the
city
council
folks,
are
actually
contributing
to
that
to
make
sure
that
we
get
the
types
of
businesses
and
services
that
you
guys
look
for
jerry's
in
the
back.
There
may
be
some
questions
that
are
going
to
be
asked.
J
I
think
I'm
it
swan
and
by
the
way
I
always
get
invited
here
when
I
ride
my
bike
to
city
hall,
so
I
got
in
my
little
skivvies
and
I
rode
my
bike
to
city
hall
and
now
my
bike's
sitting
there
all
lonely
because
of
tonight
and
I
got
a
ride
back
in
there.
So
anybody
driving
down
la
brea
do
not
hit
me.
So
I'm
telling
you
right
now
stay
clear
that'll.
Be
me
on
the
bike.
All
right.
D
I
love
it.
Thank
you
so
much
so
much,
I'm
gonna
ask
that
parking
and
come
back
up
and
let's
just
take
a
few
minutes.
Those
of
you
that
need
to
leave
you're
certainly
welcome
to
do
so.
We're
going
to
be
saying
goodbye
to
our
facebook
audience
in
just
a
few
minutes,
but
we
have
one
of
the
other.
Major
inquiries
was
around
speed
bumps
because
we've
had,
as
the
our
chief
of
police
talked
about
some
of
the
activity,
that's
going
on
with
people
driving
erratically,
and
so
there
have
been
those
questions.
D
So
we're
gonna
ask
that
that
particular
topic
get
addressed
tonight
from
a
30,
000
foot
view
and
then
in
future
meetings,
we'll
go
into
a
lot
more
detail,
but
you'll
get
a
chance
to
get
a
glimpse
of
what
what
to
do.
G
Yes,
just
very
briefly
on
the
traffic
measures
to
try
and
slow
cars
down
and,
and
I'm
sure,
you've
all
seen
directing
traffic
I've
seen
it
a
lot,
people
don't
stop
at
red
lights
anymore
and
the
speed
it's
just
unbelievable.
I
mean
I
I
oversee
you
know
like
I
said:
30
40,
50
traffic
officers
out
there,
and
sometimes
you
just
have
to
go
over
there
and
tell
them
to
get
out
of
the
street.
G
But
anyway
in
in
local
neighborhoods.
There
have
been
folks
that
have
called
in
residents
asking
about
speed
bumps.
There
is
a
process
for
that.
It's
managed
by
public
works,
but
the
numbers
that
I
gave
you
a
lot
of
times.
It
begins
at
our
level
with
parking
enforcement,
and
we
can
walk
you
through
that
process.
G
It's
not
an
overnight
thing
with
speed
bumps,
because
you
know
the
county
has
to
be
involved.
The
fire
department
because,
as
you
know,
streets
with
speed
bumps
the
fire
department
are
not
real
thrilled
about
it
because
they
have
to
slow
down
when
they
go
through
those
speed
bumps
and
so
there's
some
issues.
But
nonetheless
there
is
a
process.
It's
handled
by
public
works
and
we
we
can
help
you
get
through
that
process.
I
would
suggest,
because
they're
easier
to
get
the
city
city
council
members
recently
pushed
for
this
program.
G
Well,
I
know
they
go
through,
but
but
at
least
they're
you
know
they
got
to
look
twice,
but
anyway,
the
those
are
have
been
found
to
be
very
effective.
The
police
department
monitors
a
lot
of
times
the
traffic
there
and
the
accidents
have
been
going
down.
So
there's
the
the
flashing.
Stop
signs,
there's
also
some
flashing
lights
now
that
they
put
across
the
street
to
help
illuminate
that
you've
got
a
crosswalk
there.
G
They've
got
stop
signs
that
are
painted
in
different
colors
to
kind
of
help,
so
that
you
see
a
little
bit
more
and
anyway.
So
there's
a
lot
of
different
options
out
there
and
it's
all
handled
by
public
works
but
they're
quite
busy,
and
we
can
help
you
kind
of
navigate
through
that
process
and
address
those
things
if
they
do
come
up
in
your
neighborhood.
Give
us
a
call,
even
though
we're
not
public
works,
but
we
can
kind
of
do
a
lot
of
the
legwork
for
you
to
make
it
easy.
D
Okay,
thank
you.
So
we
were
all
about
tonight.
Getting
you
the
30,
000
foot
view
of
how
to
do
it
and
then
to
get
you
out
live
again
with
your
neighbors.
So
we
want
to
thank
you
for
that.
We're
going
to
bring
our
speakers
back
up
that
are
in
the
room,
but
before
we
do
that,
we're
going
to
say
good
night
to
our
live
streaming,
facebook
audience
and
for
that
I'm
going
to
bring
the
councilman
up.
B
Thank
you
look
before
I
do
anything.
Oh.
