Hi brady we good to go.

I'm uh mayor james west of the city of englewood. It's about four o'clock. This is chief mark fronorata of the inward police department.

At this morning, at about 601, a male hispanic 45 years of age, unidentified entered the sofi stadium parking lot by trespassing at 603. Their security personnel called the ingwood police department at 6 13. He was last seen entering the lake going moving towards the middle of the man-made lake and at 6 13.

He was the last time he was seen above the water at 6, 21, seb and l.a county fire were called and the recovery was made at about 9 48. This morning.

We don't know why he was on the property and we do not have them identified as yet and we're ready to take any questions that you might have.

They have plenty of surveillance video. Basically, what they saw is the gentleman entering from the century side of the property and migrating his way towards the lake hopping, a fence to get in that area of the lake entering the lake moving out to the middle of it, and then he was last seen around 6 13.

I haven't, I haven't seen the video, and so we don't know why he got in the water.

He was, he was alone. He was a lone male uh male hispanic about 45 years of age.

We we can't, we can't even opine, there's going to be an autopsy, of course, and and any of those issues would be fared it out at the autopsy.

No, they did not that I know of hold on one sec.

Go ahead, no, the there are two security officers that came to the periphery of the lake after he was spotted on video, but by that time he was already in the water and by the time scb in the fire and the exchange seb came. He was not seen and hadn't been seen for quite some time.

The the lake is, when you say, routinely patrol it's inside the property. The property is locked, so no, it's not routinely patrolled, but there are security people that patrol the entirety of the property.

This first one I've heard of.

I don't, if you mean, did they get in the water? No, they didn't get in the water.

It probably wasn't the security officer, it was somebody in their security apparatus, you know they have radios, and so is somebody probably from their command post.

15 feet: 15 20 feet: it's a recirculate lake, it's man-made and it's also helps with storm water. Runoff.

I don't know you'd have to ask sofi, but I doubt it.

He hopped that fence he hopped an outer fence to get onto the property. He was apparently determined to get onto the property.

It kind of looks like he didn't know how to swim.

No, he did not.

We we have no information on him, his name socioeconomic status. Anything like that.

We don't, he has not been identified as yet, so we would be unable to contact the family like I said. We believe that when he gets to the corner's office- and they do dental work and prints that we'll probably have an id.

Not that I know of, I think I said he was 45.

I have no information about him getting out of the vehicle. The first notice that I have that they made of him was walking from the area of century around and getting into the lake.

I don't think it'll ch, I don't think it'll change anything. I honestly this is someone that made a conscious decision to trespass onto the property get into the lake and he ended up having some distress and difficulty. So I don't think there's anything that sofa could have done to prevent this.

Well, actually, we don't have the video and I doubt that they're going to release it.
