Description
Airport Advisory Board Meeting 051023
C
C
D
B
I
A
F
A
All
right
with
that
being
said,
the
minutes
are
already
submitted
a
motion,
approval
minutes
or
a
discussion
on
them.
A
Any
questions
comments,
discussion,
all
right,
all
in
favor,
say
aye
aye
aye,
any
up
position,
motion
passed
citizen
comments,
we're
doing
the
three
minutes
any.
Are
there
any
citizen
comments,
sir?.
A
F
Right,
Mr,
chairman,
we'll
start
off
with
the
passenger
report,
we're
having
a
a
so
far
a
good
year.
I
mean
we
had
a
little
drop
on
the
month
of
March
compared
to
last
year,
but
basically
the
numbers
are
still
the
same
with
23
000
passengers
in
flames
and
the
Deep
plane
number
is
just
basically
the
same.
So
last
year
was
our
best
year
so
far,
so
we're
we're
just
in
line
with
those
numbers.
Let
me
just
add
that
this
this
week
the
new
the
third
flight
from
United
started
back.
F
So
we
have
a
third
flight
now
starting
this
week
and
we
we've
seen
a
lot
of
more
people
in
the
terminal.
So
hopefully
those
numbers
will
start
to
pick
up
because
you
apply
midday
right,
yeah
midday,
so
we
have
one
in
the
morning
midday
and
afternoon,
and
these.
F
Seats,
yes,
passengers,
so
next
next
month
we'll
have
the
the
fourth
flight
from
American
Airlines,
so
I
mean.
Hopefully
things
keep
getting
better
here
on
the
numbers.
A
F
Emperor
175
I
believe
so,
which
has
more
first
class
seats
and
more
regular
passengers
too.
So.
F
United
United
also
is
going
to
upgrade
the
place
to
a
crj's
200s,
which
is
a
little
bit
better
than
what
they
currently
have,
though,
but
I
don't
think
they
do.
They
will
have
any
any
business
class
just
yet
on
United.
F
So
moving
on
on
the
report
by
by
Airline
here,
basically,
the
the
only
one
that
has
a
American
has
a
slightly
decrease
from
13
13
000
to
12.
000
United
has
an
increase
from
6
300
from
last
year
to
7
000
this
year.
7629.
F
Allegiant
has
the
biggest
increase
right
now
they
have
3221
passengers
last
year.
At
the
same
time
frame
they
had
2
600,
so
Allegiant
is
doing
pretty
good
on
the
meeting
I
had
with
them
in
in
Vegas.
They
were
very
happy
with
their
numbers,
they're
getting
more
planes.
So
hopefully
they
say
there
might
be
look
good
to
add
at
back
the
Orlando
frequency,
but
until
next
year,
everything's
committed
for
this
year
already,
but
they're
happy
with
the
numbers
they're
currently
having.
F
Obviously
you
can
tell
by
the
numbers
they're
doing
pretty
good
here
in
Laredo,
so
moving
on
on
cargo
reports.
Well,
we
keep
seeing
a
an
increase
on
the
cargo
overall
I
mean
we've
had
a
slightly
decrease
on
the
same
month,
but
we
still
six
percent
above
from
from
prior
year.
F
We
I
don't
know
if
you
saw
on
on
Facebook,
where
we
have
Amazon
Prime
now
flying
here
with
their
own
planes.
So
and
just
things
keep
getting
better
on
the
cargo
side.
So
we're
hoping
we
can
continue
that
Trend.
We
keep
marketing
and
we're
gonna
do
as
much
as
we
can
to
keep
that
train
alive.
What.
F
F
L
L
H
J
I
F
I
F
Is
the
one
opening
on
Monterrey
yeah
but
I
mean
we'll
still
get
the
benefits
of
people
crossing
here
for
all
the
custom
Brokers
here,
I,
don't
need
to
tell
them
they're,
probably
already
on
top
of
that,
taking
the
business
so
moving
on
on
the
FIS
inspections,
as
you
see,
the
numbers
are
pretty
steady,
as
we
mentioned
compared
to
last
year.
The
only
one
that's
with
the
same
issue
as
before
is
an
they
had:
zero
zero
zero
operations
for
the
May
for
the
month
of
April.
So
that's.
L
L
A
It
yet,
but
I
hear
that
it's
progressing
because
of
our
numbers,
and
the
second
thing
is
the
UPS
is
also
in
discussion
to
find
out.
What's
going
on,
but
I
know
it's
TSA
issue,
but
yeah
I
know.
One
of
the
concerns
is
because
there
won't
be
no
direct
flight,
so
U.S
is
trying
to
hold
on
because
they
want
to
go
to.
Ups
wants
to
go
to
Louisville
and
then
from
their
vacuum.
Mexico
saying
that's,
not
a
it's,
not
a.
F
Yeah,
that's
the
current
issue
that
we
have
right
now
that
they
want
to
fly
to
Laredo,
check
the
packages
and
then
go
flagged
back
to
their
Hub
and
in
their
Hub.
Tsa
might
open
the
the
package,
so
that
might
be
a
breach
of
the
of
the
logistical
chain
that
will
have
that
package
pretty
clear
from
Mexico,
because
the
the
seal
will
be
violated
so
as
much
as
well.
F
There's
there's
so
little
that
we
can
do
right
now,
because
it's
at
the
TSA
level
Washington
and
they
say
that
request-
needs
to
come
from
from
an
actual
carrier.
That's
that's
going
to
do
that.
I!
Don't
know
why
UPS
hasn't
done
it,
but
they
have
not
and
FedEx
or
DHL
they're,
not
they're,
not
on
board.
On
this
program
yet
I
mean
I
mean
it's
open
to
anyone,
but
the
request
needs
to
come
from
corporate
UPS,
FedEx
or
DHL,
not
from
the
airport,
director
or
the
city
or
anyone
here
right.
K
F
Tsa
Mexico,
yes
yeah
so
I
mean
we
continue.
Water's
been
a
chain
of
emails
back
and
forth
with
the
Mexican
customs
and
TSA
the
embassy
representative
in
Mexico,
but
they
have
gotten
over
so
far.
A
But
well
is
there
anything
else
that
we
could
do
as
a
community
or
something
to
the
promoter,
because.
F
A
F
F
So
we're
nowhere
gonna
meet
with
your
Association
by
the
end
of
the
month,
so
we'll
try
we'll
promote
that.
Yes,.
J
So
we
started
on
that,
so
they'll
touch
more
on
that
later
on
today,.
F
But
yeah
I
mean
I
I
do
think,
there's
potential
there,
but
but
it's
not
being
utilized
so
far
thanks.
Okay,
so
moving
on
on
the
private
total
passengers
to
see
the
numbers
have
been
picking
up
at
a
thousand
144
versus
1089
last
year,
I
mean
a
slight
increase
from
last
year,
but
still
not
at
the
levels
of
20
of
2021
right
I
mean
we're
still.
F
So,
moving
on
on
the
grand
total
operation
is
what
we
just
mentioned
on
the
arrivals:
2
373
versus
birth,
no
3183
versus
3640
from
last
year
and
4582
from
prior
year,
so
the
activities
is
going
up,
but
still
not
reaching
the
levels
from
prior
years
on
the
fuel
flow
report,
as
we
have
more
more
activity
on
the
cargo
side,
as
you
can
see,
more
more
gallons
have
been
sold
at
5
million
gallons
and
around
55
55
000
more
in
revenue
generated.
As
far
as
this
this
year
concern.
F
F
Well,
we
get
the
same
amount
since
it's
a
fixed,
fixed,
Cent.
First.
J
B
F
E
I
see
some
familiar
faces
from
a
previous
board
meeting,
but
also
some
new
faces
we've
met,
but
some
new
faces.
Congratulations
to
all
the
new
members,
so
I'm
Patty
Kirby,
and
this
is
Jacob
and
we're
with
Madison
Avenue
marketing
agency,
we're
locally
based
here
in
Laredo
Texas,
and
we
help
local
organizations
and
businesses
with
marketing
materials
like
websites,
videos,
photography
and
things
like
that.
So
we've
been
lucky
to
partner
with
the
airport,
and
today
we
just
want
to
go
over
a
few
of
the
most
recent
projects.
E
I
won't
bore
you
guys,
like
last
time,
with
a
very
lengthy
presentation
about
all
the
ins
and
outs
of
what
we
do,
but
I'm
happy
to
answer
those
for
anyone,
in
particular
who's
still
in
the
dark
about
those
today,
we're
just
going
to
catch
up
with
some
of
the
recent
occurring
things
that
are
going
on
for
the
airport.
So
a
lot.
B
E
The
things
that
we've
been
doing
as
of
late
have
been
very
video
Centric,
so
I,
don't
know
how
much
time
you
guys
have
most
of
the
videos
range
like
from
30.
K
M
B
E
The
first
one
of
those
so
the
lrd
walkthrough
video,
this
one
you
may
have
seen
played
downstairs
where
the
can,
where
the
luggage
area
is.
B
E
We
have
a
shorter
version,
a
shorter
version,
that's
condensed
to
just
30
seconds
it's
made
for
like
broadcasting
social
media,
but
it's
essentially
this
just
smaller
that
one's
just
general.
Obviously,
it's
directed
more
towards
the
passenger
experience
and
you'll
see
that
one
on
all
social
media
platforms,
as
well
as
downstairs
on
the
big
screen.
E
So
that's
for
passengers,
that's
just
to
let
them
know
about
the
amenities
and
how
easy
it
is
to
get
around
the
Laredo
airport
and
if
they
scan
that
QR
code,
it
takes
them
directly
to
the
Airport
website
which
there
they
have
other
things
like
the
cost
calculator
that
they
can
use,
for
example,
and
more
in-depth
information
about
the
airport
that
they
can
read
through.
But
obviously
video
is
King
when
it
comes
to
marketing
right.
E
So
we
try
to
capture
those
things
with
like
local
content,
which
I
know
that
report
never
had
before
with
real
people
and
I.
Think
that
really
helps.
But,
like
I
said,
there
is
a
shorter
version
to
catch
people's
attention
better
on
social
media.
But
we
showed
you
guys
the
whole
thing.
So
that's
more
for
the
passenger.
A
E
Some
more
to
share
about
that.
The
next
video
is
about
the
ftz.
This
is
the
longer
video,
this
one's
about
five
minutes,
I
believe
yeah.
G
B
E
Unit
rate,
when
your
business
depends
on
Foreign
imports
to
manufacture
your
goods
or
regularly
exports
merchandise
to
foreign
Outlets,
you
need
every
Competitive
Edge.
That's
why
you
need
to
take
advantage
of
the
foreign
trade
zone
in
Laredo
Texas,
for
the
safe
keeping
of
your
cargo
and
for
considerable
savings
to
your
bottom
line.
So.
P
M
E
E
E
Pay,
instead,
these
costs
can
be
reduced,
delayed
or
even
eliminated,
based
on
approvals
and
special
procedures.
The
FTC
in
Laredo
currently
has
seven
sites
where
Goods
can
be
imported
and
processed
Within
These
zones,
imported
parts
and
materials
can
be
assembled
manufactured,
relabeled
repackaged
repaired
and
stored.
Only
when
the
finished
goods
leave
the
ftz
are
they
then
taxed,
and
by
deferring
these
Duty
costs
until
after
the
finished
product
is
shipped,
your
business
can
significantly
increase
its
cash
flow.
E
Other
immediate
benefits
to
your
business
include
potential
local
and
state
tax
savings,
lower
overhead,
larger
profit
margins
and
an
expedited
supply
chain
Additionally.
The
ftz
can
save
your
business
money
if
your
business
is
sourcing,
various
parts
and
materials
from
different
countries,
rather
than
paying
the
standard
higher
tax
rate
per
individual
part,
you
would
instead
only
be
subject
to
one
lower
rate
for
the
final
assembled
product
manufactured
through
the
FTC
Zone,
and
the
savings
don't
end
there.
E
If
you,
our
business,
has
a
weekly
entry
of
imported
goods,
you
can
also
take
advantage
of
merchandise,
processing,
fee
reductions
when
cargo
crosses
through
a
Port
of
Entry.
The
mpf
is
calculated
based
on
the
value
of
the
imported
goods,
with
a
maximum
value
of
528
dollars.
Now,
let's
say
you
get
10
weekly
shipments
and
you
have
a
maximum
mpf
of
528
dollars
per
shipment
if
mpf
is
applied
to
each
load,
you're
paying
5280,
weekly
or
274
560
over
12
months.
E
Q
E
Located
on
the
U.S
Mexico
border
Laredo
is
the
busiest
port
of
entry
in
North
America
and
the
third
busiest
overall
air,
sea
or
land
or
in
the
United
States
we're
experienced
in
customs
bonded
warehousing
and
Supply
Chain
management
solutions
for
international
trade
and
can
provide
you
with
expert
advice
for
navigating
Customs
regulations.
You'll
get
convenient
storage
for
up
to
five
years,
duty-free
protection
from
CBP
supervision
and
optimal
logistical
Solutions.
P
Q
E
Thank
you
for
your
patience.
That
was
the
lengthy
one,
but
it's
a
lot
of
information.
It's
very
dense,
so
that
one
has
also
been
on
the
social
media
channels.
We
don't
recommend
it
for
social
media
because
of
its
length,
but
I
know
for
internal
purposes.
You
guys
use
it
a
lot
and
it
does
well
like
on
platforms
like
LinkedIn,
not
so
much
Facebook
and
Instagram,
but
that
pretty
much.
Obviously
it's
a
different
audience
to
your
point.
All
of
these
messages
are
targeted.
E
Obviously,
that's
not
to
The
Traveler
like
myself,
right,
that's
more
specialized,
so
the
last
one
is
specifically
about
FIS
the
federal
inspection
station
and
this
one's
a
lot
shorter.
E
The
bi-national
federal
inspection
station
facility
or
FIS
is
a
3.2
million
dollar
investment
by
the
City
of
Laredo
for
U.S
and
Mexican
customs
operations.
Its
primary
focus
is
pre-screening.
Shipments
exported
by
companies
certified
by
Anon
through
us
have
dual
infection
program,
simplifies
the
inspection
procedures
for
various
Industries,
reducing
time
and
transaction
costs
at
airports
located
throughout
Mexico
collaboration
between
the
U.S
and
Mexico
is
truly
historic
and
the
Laredo
International
Airport
in
collaboration
with
anonymous.
E
So
that
one's
really
great
too
so
these
are
used
across
platforms.
Obviously
you
guys
have
a
lot
of
use
for
them
like
internally
and
I
know
these
are
used
in
your
presentations
and
when
you
travel
and
conferences
and
things
but
for
the
Layman
or
lay
woman
at
home,
watching
I
think
it
does
help
to
simplify
a
lot
of
dense
information
that
when
we
see
like
reports
and
agendas
that
we
don't
have
like
your
same
level
of
knowledge
and
familiarity
with
this,
it
really
does
help
put
it
in
lame
insurance.
E
So,
when
you're
doing
any
type
of
presentations
like
I
said
conferences,
it
really
helps
to
break
it
down
for
just
the
general
viewer.
Like
me
to
get
a
little
bit
of
insight,
what
does
FIS
really
mean
right?
What
is
a
nom?
You
know
how
does
Laredo
play
a
part
in
in
travel
and
Industry,
and
obviously
these
are
very
shareable
educational
tools
that
you
could
use,
not
just
among
your
board
members,
but
also
any
key
figures
that
need
to
know
this
information
when
you're
applying
for
Grants,
perhaps
and
things
like
that
that
benefit
the
airport.
E
N
E
B
E
At
five
in
the
morning,
so
you
have
to
be
here
by
like
4
30
waiting
for
the
plane
to
arrive
to
get
that
Landing
shot
right
and
then
for
the
departure.
So
we
were
here
with
the
night
crew
to
capture
these
images.
If
you
look
on
the
airport's
Instagram
today,
you'll
see
a
little
video
recap
of
that.
Of
course,
it's
night
time,
so
we
can't
change
the
fact
that
it's
dark,
no
matter
how
many
lights
we
put
right,
but
but
it's
cool,
it's
authentic
content.
E
You
see
the
work
of
the
cruise,
the
you
know,
graveyard
shift
Crews
that
work
really
hard
on
the
grounds
of
the
airport,
and
this
is
great
Evergreen
content
that
can
be
used
on
social
media
throughout
the
year
right
because
it
doesn't
expire
as
long
as
Atlas
Air
is
still
bringing
in
Amazon.
Prime
I
will
say
that
that
was
very
well
received
on
social
media.
E
E
E
But
more
than
anything,
the
messaging
that
accompanies
it,
you
know
it
talks
about
how
Amazon
Prime,
having
faith
here
at
Laredo,
International
Airport
On.
The
Border,
really
is
a
testament
to
what
this
area
offers
and
it
really
makes
people
realize
like
wow.
You
know
if
Amazon
has
their
eyes
on
this,
you
know.
Does
that
mean
we're
getting
that
facility
everyone's
been
mumbling
about
you
know.
E
Is
this
a
good
sign
towards
that
I
think
it's
a
testament
that
big
corporations
like
that
have
a
lot
of
faith
in
our
community,
so
I
think
that's
very
positive
messaging,
not
just
you
know,
on
the
business
and
corporate
side,
but
also
for
just
like
the
lay
men
and
women
watching
at
home.
So
we've
captured
a
lot
of
content
on
that
recently,
as
well
as
Auto
phone
Manny.
Do
you
want
to
explain
about
the
auto
phone
building.
C
Construction
yeah,
it's
it
is
a
building
that
is
currently
going
under
basically
improvements
as
per
the
airport.
C
F
That's
basically
a
remodel
that
we
have
a
concept
of
of
a
master
plan
of
development
here
at
the
airport.
That's
not
been
approved
yet,
but
we
have
a
an
idea
of
what
we
want
the
area
to
look
like.
So
that's
our
first
step
in
the
right
direction
that
they're,
gonna
renovate
and
the
building
is
going
to
look
nicer
and
hopefully
we'll
make
an
impact
to
the
whole
area.
F
Basically,
on
that,
I
also
talked
to
planning
about
doing
a
study
about
an
overlay
here
with
the
with
the
people
in
the
in
this
area
that
live
up
or
previously
well
known
up
the
base
to
see
if
the
weekend
reinvest
some
money
of
that
with
the
overlay,
but
I
mean
we're
in
the
initial
talks
with
planning
is.
B
B
C
E
Yeah
because
that's
going
to
be
a
transfer
several
months,
so
we're
getting
the
progress
pictures
once
a
month
and
then
at
the
ribbon
Penny
be
able
to
show
the
community
sort
of
like
the
investment
that's
been.
You
know,
put
in
there
to
see
this
beautiful
transformation
of
something
that's
going
to
come
back
to
help
our
community.
So
that's.
H
B
E
Taken
terminal
and
the
different
ftz
will
probably
not
be
seen
publicly
so
much
well.
These
will,
but
the
ftz
ones
are
mostly
for
I,
know
your
presentations
and
things
that
you
do
with
when
you
travel
and
meet
with
people.
So
we
like
to
help
on
that
end
too,
with
all
the
marketing
materials
that
are
necessary
just
to
convey
and
give
people.
You
know
a
visual
image
of
what
it
is
you're
talking
about
a
lot
of
that
stuff.
On
your
all's
agendas,
is
it's
pretty
dense
right?
It's
it's
very
interesting,
but
very
dense.
L
L
E
Happened
like
around
the
time
of
Amazon
Prime
more
early
hours,
but
I'm
glad
you
said
that
Jake,
because
speaking
of
that
and
Mr
Lovell
I
know
the
LinkedIn
is
a
brand
new
account
for
the
Laredo
international
airport.
So
if
you're
on
LinkedIn
you're
encouraged
to
follow
it
into
track
a
lot
of
these
longer
format,
videos
are
better
suited
to
that
platform.
Obviously
we
know
best
practices
on
Instagram
and
Facebook.
Those
videos
just
don't
make
sense
on
those
platforms
right.
Currently
we
have
the
attention
span
of
1.7
seconds
on
social
media,
video
yeah.
Q
B
E
L
G
That
can
be
updated
on
the
LinkedIn
account
I
would
say,
would
be
internal
employees
or
anybody
that
has
a
LinkedIn
account
to
attribute
their
place
of
work
to
go
and
say
they
work
here,
because
before
there
wasn't
a
later
International
Airport
LinkedIn
account,
so
they
would
need
to
go
in
there
update
it
himself,
so
it
can
attribute
all
the
employees
into
that
account.
It's
not
giving
them
any
admin
or
editor
permissions.
It's
just
letting
them
know
that
they
work
here
and
they're
part
of
the
company.
Okay,
so.
E
Other
priority
items
that
are
just
on
the
public
side
for
social
media
pushes
continue
to
be
Amazon
Prime,
the
cargo
24
7,
the
cost
calculator
which,
like
I
said,
is
on
fly
Laredo
texas.com,
where
people
can
go
in
there
and
calculate
how
much
it
would
cost
them
if
they
were
to
drive
out
of
town
versus
if
they
would
just
fly
out
from
here
and
also
the
direct
flights.
The
three
direct
flights
that
come
out
here,
so
those
are
just
ongoing,
Evergreen.
G
E
Promoted
and
to
your
points
are
about
the
trajectory
on
social
media.
So
does
everyone
here
know
the
difference
between
marketing
and
advertising,
or
should
I
cover
a
little
bit
so
marketing,
which
is
our
specialty?
It's
making
beautiful
materials,
making
everything
look
pretty,
make
everything,
educational,
correct,
information
and
value.
We
make
the
videos
the
websites,
but
a
website
by
itself,
no
matter
how
beautiful
it
is,
doesn't
mean
anyone's
going
to
click
on
it,
social
media,
no
matter
how
professional
the
pictures
are,
it
doesn't
mean
anyone's
going
to
follow
it.
E
All
of
that
can
happen
organically,
but
that's
where
advertising
comes
in
advertising
is
different
from
marketing.
Advertising
is
paid.
Marketing
is
what
you
own.
You
own
your
website,
you
on
your
social
media.
You
own
your
graphics,
your
photos,
your
videos,
you
own!
All
these
things,
advertising,
you
don't
own!
The
billboard
company
right,
you
don't
own
the
TV
station,
you
don't
own!
The
newspaper
you
have
to
pay
to
advertise
on
those
platforms,
so
marketing
materials
alone
can't
get
the
word
out
unless
it's
organic
and
I
know.
E
For
the
longest
time
we
have
been
doing
everything
here,
organically
So,
based
on
that
fact.
It
has
been
a
steady
growth
considering
that
it's
organic
there
are
still
opportunities
for
more
organic
growth
on
social
media,
with
the
help
of
certain
city
entities
that
maybe,
if
they
could
be
receptive,
you
know
collaborations
and
tagging.
If
you
know
how
Facebook
and
Instagram
work
are
very
important,
I
know
the
City
of
Laredo
would
be
a
great
partner
if
they
would
share
and
tag
the
CVV
visit.
E
Laredo
TX
would
be
a
great
one
as
well,
and
also
we
identified
the
Laredo
Police
Department
as
another
one,
and
they
have
shown
willingness
to
collaborate
and
tag.
So
we
actually
have
a
campaign
to
tell
you
about
with
them.
That's
happening
next
week,
but
as
far
as
paid
advertising,
the
airport
currently
is
doing
a
paid
advertising
campaign
to
help
push
their
digital
presence.
So
through
spectrum
they
have
invested
some
dollars
to
run
and
some
paid
ads.
So
now
stuff
isn't
just
sitting
here
now
we're
saying
hey
guys.
We
have
a
website,
come
click
on
it.
E
Now
we're
saying
hey
guys,
look,
we
have
social
media,
come
click
on
it
before
it
existed
and
it
was
beautiful,
but
now
we're
actually
screaming
it
out
to
the
public
with
paid
ads,
so
that
just
recently
started
at
the
tail
end
of
last
month,
so
the
analytics
are
still
baby
analytics
because
it's
only
been
a
couple
of
weeks,
but
we
do
see
upward
trajectory
and
and
I
mean
it
makes
all
the
difference
right
when
you
put
a
little
bit
of
money
behind
it.
So
that's
going
to
do
great
for
you
guys.
E
E
These
are
to
travel
and
tenders,
so
people
who
do
searches
like
going
on
vacation.
You
know
flight
information
if
they
Google
things
like
Mexico
vacation.
Anybody,
that's
travel
and
tenders.
L
B
I
R
E
H
E
B
E
Well,
we
didn't
make
the
website,
but
it
is
a
valuable
tool
that
I
know
it's
important
for
the
airport
to
promote
on
there.
It
does
tell
you
about
airport
security
parking
features.
It
has
the
cloud
calculator
and
it
tells
you
about
the
three
Airlines.
Unfortunately,
hands
are
tight
as
far
as
being
able
to
book
tickets
on
there,
because
you
do
have
to
book
tickets
through
American,
Airlines
or
United.
You
can't
you
can't
do
that.
N
E
I
L
The
web
I'm
sorry,
the
website
John,
sometimes
is
used
to
provide
information
like
the
master
plan,
also
include
the
Airport
layout
plan
and
things
like
that
when
people
are
looking
to
get
information
for
the
international
airport,
that
also
is
included
on
that
I.
A
E
E
B
E
E
If
you
walk
into
any
area
with
a
cell
phone,
probably
have
your
Maps
open
or
you
probably
have
your
weather
app
open.
Most
of
us
do
so
that
means
your
IP
address
is
discoverable.
So
when
you
walk
into
said
areas,
your
phone
automatically
gets
pinged
and
we
take
that
IP
address
and
later
within
the
next
30
days.
You're
delivered
an
ad
get
away
from
them.
I
know
I
know,
but
that's
the
world
we
live
in
and
since
most
people
right
now
currently.
I
I
E
N
L
N
A
That
we
had
in
our
meeting
right
now
is
we
talked
a
lot
more
about
commercial
operations,
and
you
said
you're
not
really
targeting
any
of
that
audience.
I
can
only
go
ahead
and
refill
because,
like
you
said
if
or
like
we
saw,
FIS
numbers
are
really
low
and
we're
the
only
equation:
United
States
that
offer
them.
How
can
we
promote
that
and
include
that
as
part
of
the
package
yeah.
E
So
that
is
definitely
up
to
you
guys,
but
I'm
glad
you
asked,
like
I,
said,
remember:
marketing
and
advertising.
So
on
the
marketing
end,
which
is
our
purview
right.
We
create
all
the
marketing
materials
for
FIS
for
FTC,
the
beautiful
videos,
photography
messaging,
that
you
saw
we've
created
that,
but
now
it's
up
to
you
guys
if
you
want
to
invest
dollars
that
are
not
paid
to
us
by
the
way
this
money
does
not
go
to
us.
I
want
to
make
that
distinction
very
clear.
E
These
monies
are
paid
to
vendors
like
Billboards
live
TV
like
digital
vendors,
where
you
can
promote
that
now.
For
this
one
that's
already
ongoing.
It
would
be
a
shame
to
interrupt
it
after
two
weeks
to
change
path.
But
if
you
all
see
that
you
like
this
campaign
and
how
it
works-
and
it's
at
the
end
of
three
months,
you
see
a
value
in
it.
E
We
could
definitely
look
into
renewing
it
and
totally
changing
the
course
as
far
as
changing
all
this
messaging
from
something
that
targets
public
and
travel
intenders
and
change
it
completely
to
more
of
the
corporate
and
business
passengers
and
Target
those
initiatives
instead.
So
the
materials
on
the
marketing
side
they're
ready
to
go.
You
have
your
FIS
FTC,
everything's
beautiful,
ready
to
launch.
Do
you
want
to
spend
money,
and
do
you
have
money
to
allocate
in
order
to
promote
that?
That's
up
to
you
guys.
A
E
A
But
one
thing
you
said
this
is
instilled
in
its
sympathy,
two
weeks
old,
take
into
consideration
that
time
frame
and
I
know
that
we're
looking
at
this
as
an
upward,
Trend
and
you're
going
to
look
at
that
three
months.
You
know
if
we
can
kind
of
digest
information.
Can
you
provide
it
for
report
each
month
to
effort.
E
To
our
sure,
I
actually
just
sent
one
last
week
so
they're
available
more
frequently
but
I
would
say
at
the
end
of
one
full
month
is
the
best
time
to
kind
of
give
it
a
fair
chance.
But
we
don't
recommend
anything
less
than
three
months.
Just
in
marketing
in
general,
I've
been
a
media
buyer
for
20
years
and
anything
less
than
three
months
is
kind
of
like
flushing.
Your
money
down.
I
E
B
E
E
And
also
did
you
know
that
we're
moving
into
being
able
to
track
people's
eyeballs,
it's
very
real.
So
now,
when
you
look
at
an
ad
right
now,
we
just
tell
you:
oh
you
had
this
many
Impressions.
This
is
how
many
people
got
it
on
their
phone.
Now
we're
going
to
be
able
to
tell
you
where
their
eyeballs
were.
E
E
I
E
How
many
people
click
it
and
go
to
the
website?
Click-Through
rates
are
usually
point
zero.
They
usually
all
start
with
point
zero.
So
the
fact
that
you
don't
start
with
point
zero
is
actually
extremely
healthy.
Now
remember
with
digital,
you
want
to
manage
expectations,
and
what
you
have
here
invested
is
a
very
healthy
amount,
but
nonetheless
we
live
in
a
city
of
what
350,
000
so
give
or
take.
So
obviously,
there's
no
way
to
blanket
that
right.
E
I
would
demon
successful,
is
Once
We,
compare
it
to
the
website
analytics
on
the
back
end
after
at
least
three
months,
and
that's
what
we
see,
what
it's
done,
what
people's
behaviors
are
because
it'll
also
give
us
information
as
to
what
pages
on
your
website
people
interact
with
the
most.
So
let's
say
we
find
out
at
the
end
of
three
months
that
most
people
that
land
on
your
web
page
tend
to
end
up
on
the
cost
calculator.
M
E
G
To
Apples,
yeah
and
also
I
mean
also
speaking
back
to
what
it
benefits.
People
then,
on
the
website,
people
land
on
the
website.
They
go
to
the
information,
but
they
also
the
vendors,
the
air
flights.
The
airlines
are
checking
that
information
and,
like
you
were
saying
they
may
add
some
more
flights.
They
compare
the
analytics
of
the
website
getting
people
information
going
from
the
fly,
Laredo
Texas
to
United
Airlines,
to
American
Airlines
so
to
El
region.
G
So
once
they
see
that
analytics
report,
they'll
start
thinking
of
adding
more
flights
and
adding
more
services
to
Laredo
International
Airport
yeah.
D
B
L
E
That's
pretty,
you
know
on
the
low
end,
usually
when
we
work
with
small
businesses
that
do
digital
digital
advertising.
They
come
in
at
about
twenty
five
hundred
dollars
a
month.
B
K
E
O
E
E
Yes,
so
by
going
to
the
airport,
like
Jacob,
said
the
page
that
has
the
airlines,
you
can
click
through
to
go
book
a
flight
through
there.
So
if
that's
where
the
clicks
are
coming
from,
as
opposed
to
just
allegiantair.com
the
ones
that
were
sent
through
there,
it's
something
that
we
can
measure
at
the
end
of
The
Campaign
and
tell
you
so
now
when
Manny
says
or
Gilbert
tells
us
in
this
agenda
that
allegiant's
doing
better
than
ever
before
and
they're
so
happy
and
they
want
to
add
an
additional
height.
E
B
E
Of
course
and
simmer,
but
but
this
is
the
first
time
that
we've
had
a
paid
campaign
like
this
so
remember
before
it
was
just
all
marketing
everything's,
pretty
everything's
here,
but.
E
Now
we're
saying
visit
us
follow
us
click
on
this
click
on
that,
and
so
that
makes
a
big
difference
right.
I
always
tell
people
compare
it
to
a
party.
If
you're
having
a
party
at
your
house,
the
marketing
is
you're
going
to
clean
your
house,
you're
going
to
buy
a
cake,
you're
gonna
get
some
beer.
You're
gonna
get
some
food.
That's
marketing.
Advertising
is
when
you
send
out
the
invitation
and
the
text
and
the
call
and
you're
like
come
to
my
party,
hey
I'm,
having
a
party
hey
I
got
some
cake.
E
Some
beer
come
on
over.
So
now
that's
what
we're
doing
with
advertising
prior.
We
just
have
all
the
marketing
materials.
So
this
is
a
really
cool
step
to
see
we're
sort
of
in
the
guinea
pig
stage
right
now,
right,
like
I,
said
it's
two
weeks
in
but
depending
on
the
results
from
this
it'll
be
very
telling
and
it'll
provide
some
guidance
to
you
guys
as
far
as
like.
What
do
you
want
to
do?
Next.
K
E
Continue
with
this
or
do
we
want
to
switch
gears
so,
but
up
and
coming
I
wanted
to
end
on
the
note
of
actually
today
later
today,
we're
beginning
our
next
project
and
speaking
to
the
social
media,
growth
and
things
Laredo,
Police
Department,
which,
as
you
know,
has
a
very
healthy
social
media
presence
has
been
in
talks
with
your
airport
Administration
about
their
willingness
to
sort
of
be
on
collaborations
and
tags.
Since
the
PD
has
a
presence
here
at
the
airport,
I.
E
L
E
M
E
Little
bit
about
a
day
in
the
life
of
a
police
officer
here
at
the
airport
kind
of
give
it
like
a
docu
Vibe
like
like
a
documentary
Vibe
like
something
netflixy,
if
you
will
and
but
the
point
of
doing
those
is
that
by
collaborating
and
tagging
the
police
department
that
that
should
hopefully
bring
some
follow
doors
to
the
airport's
age,
since
they
already
have
heavy
traffic
on
their
social
media
pages.
So
it's
a
good
collaboration,
not
just
because
it's
police
week
and
it's
feel
good.
B
E
Know
for
the
morale
of
the
police
department
because
they
do
so
much
here,
but
also
it's
beneficial
to
the
airport.
You
know
being
a
fellow
City
Department
being
able
to
increase
their
their
views
to
the
public.
So
that's
what's
happening
later
this
afternoon,
but
that's
all
for
us
I'm!
Sorry,
we
took
so
long.
Does
anybody
have
any
questions?
Could.
E
A
E
Money
on
we
have
not
been
invited
to
council.
I
E
R
D
I
have
a
couple
of
observations.
One
of
them
is
in
regards
to
your
concerns
about
the
business.
So,
if
I
ask
FTC
and
all
that
we
do
have
a
grant
of
money
that
we
could,
we
don't
have
to
wait
three
months
to
do
advertising
on
that.
We
do
have
money
for
that,
so
we
can
have
both
campaigns
at
the
same
time,
we
don't
need
to
wait
for
this
one
to
start
with
the
other
one.
D
That's
one
thing,
the
other
thing
that
I
was
that
I
wanted
to
mention
you
all
I'm
sure
some
of
you
saw
the
video
of
that
the
Wall
Street
Journal
made
about
Laredo
yeah.
It
went
viral
I,
don't
know
how
many
people
saw
it
on
WhatsApp,
but
well.
First
of
all,
congratulations.
The
presentation
was
great.
A
A
D
D
But
I
just
went
and
checked
on
the
video
that
The
Wall
Street
Journal
made
and
they
have
273
000..
So
out
of
those
43
people
that
have
been
there.
Maybe
half
of
them
are
here.
They'll
have
is
the
people
that
were
interviewed
and
I
mean
it's
like.
What
can
we
do
to
make
that
video?
Because
it's
great
to
make
that
video
viral?
You
know
to
make
it,
but.
D
I
A
A
It
gets
down
into
the
weeds
a
little
bit
more,
but
I
think
it's
kind
of
helpful
in
one
aspect
and
I
know
that
you
guys
have
been
like.
We
just
had
an
Association
conference
with
over
800
people
that
deal
with
ftz
and
I
mean
I
was
surprised
that
I
should
have
been
more
vocal
with
you
guys
here
today.
It's
the
original
position,
but
we
could
have
you
know,
marketed
that
a
little
bit
more
yeah
but
I
know
there's
naftz
National
Association
of
foreign
trade
zones.
F
That's
a
big
target
audience
yeah.
It
is,
and
we
we're
keeping
an
eye
on
that
and
that
conference
and
I'm
also
looking
into
getting
a
an
ft
an
FTE,
a
position
for
for
just
foreign
trade
zone.
I.
Think
that's
a
low
hanging
fruit
here
in
Laredo
that
we
I'm
not
I,
mean
we
have
not
take
advantage
of
it.
We
have
47
47
people
sign
up
to
that
program
and
I
think
it
should
be
a
lot
more
than.
A
That
and
just
to
share
I
mean
just
me
myself:
I
use
an
ftz
and
it's
the
guys
I
use
they're.
Actually
the
owners
of
the
Astros
they
weren't
even
included
on
there.
So
crane
operations,
oh
yeah
and
they're
they're,
huge
I'm,
taking
a
big
portion
of
the
warehouse
out
right
now,
but
I
know
there's
a
huge
opportunity,
especially
dealing
with
some
of
the
opportunities
that
we're
missing
out.
Like
you
said,
learning
the
fruit
I
want
to
sit.
A
F
That's
why
I
think
we
need
somebody
dedicated
to
foreign
trade.
I
D
A
I
And
the
Wall
Street
Journal
video
on
the
website.
A
L
I
A
I
know
we're
short
on
time.
We're
already
exceeded
our
time
there,
but
can
we
do
Cliff
Notes
version
and
see
how
we
can
get
along,
so
we
can
move
along
with
it.
Yeah
get
up
to
our
agenda
items.
L
Chairman
they
will
continue
working
on
the
construction
on
the
our
Airfield,
the
taxiways
Gulf
one
and
golf
two
they're
almost
done
we're
about
87
89.
We
finished
with
the
concrete
and
we're
just
doing
all
the
markings
and
painting
and
cleaning
and
the
joints
for
the
next
meeting.
Also
where
going
to
include.
We
also
started
a
new
project,
the
taxiways
alpha
and
H1
and
H2.
So
that's
another
project
that
we're
going
to
start
and
then
about
two
weeks.
L
F
German,
thank
you
General
stuff
comments.
You
know
on
the
last
meeting,
I
told
you
that
we
haven't
been
able
to
get
a
meeting
with
by
robus
and
thanks
to
board
member
Mr
benavidez.
We
got
an
email
from
by
Robo,
so
we're
coordinating
a
meeting
with
them
and
also
there's
another
airline,
a
small
airline
that
just
started
from
Mexico
there.
They
fly
basically
small,
nine,
nine,
theaters
or
I
believe
they
also
have
19
seaters.
F
They
fly
from
Monterey
to
several
Regional
places,
they're
interested
in
operating
from
Laredo,
so
they're
coming
this
Friday
to
meet
with
us
so
for
for
a
route
from
Laredo
Monterey
offer
offer
some
type
of
package
there
for
the
business
Travelers
for
a
month
already
so
they're
coming
this
Friday
and
by
brothers
were
still
coordinating
that
meeting
so
so
I
mean
we're
making
little
progress
there.
Machine.
A
F
I
I
don't
have
the
the
cereal
but
but
yeah.
It's
a
small
plane.
I
F
Are
some
requirements
like
American
and
United?
They
can.
They
do
have
some
cargo
they're
in
their
belly.
I.
A
But
I
know
it's
going
to
shake
your
time.
One
thing:
I'm
taking
a
sitter
taking
inspiration
or
comments
that
were
made
earlier.
I
want
you
to
also
get
a
monthly
report.
We
have
our
next
meeting
as
well
see
where
we're,
how
we're
training
to
see
how
you
know
what
we
got
to
do
to
tweak
it
out
of
the
film.
F
Okay,
so
moving
on
until
the
action
items,
this
is
just
I
won't
read
it
just
for
the
sake
of
time,
but
this
is
just
an
item
that
we
need
here.
I,
don't
know
if
there
is
an
item
for
cheap,
the
oils
is
basically
all
the
all
the
cameras,
all
the
access
control
and
everything
is
just
a
second
annual
annual
contract
that
we
have
for
maintenance.
Basically,
with
this
company,
it's
a
total
of
54
896
second
year
right.
That's.
R
A
preventive
maintenance
contract,
so
basically
it
the
convergent,
Technologies
company,
comes
around
and
touches
each
piece
of
equipment
around
the
entire
airport,
just
to
make
sure
that
it's
operating
that
they
they
it
kind
of
dust
the
panels,
especially
outside
all
the
cameras
that
are
outside
they
tend
to
get.
You
know,
spider,
webs
and
all
kinds
of
stuff.
So
they'll
come
out
here:
they'll
vacuum
them,
they'll,
clean
them,
don't
touch
them,
they'll
make
sure
they're
up.
R
They
do
it
this
first
time
they
did
it
twice
twice
in
a
year,
this
time
they're
going
to
do
it
once
because
they
just
they
just
showed
up
about
two
months
ago.
To
do
that.
I
A
D
No
besides
that
I
took
notice
that
I
don't
blow
it
up.
I,
don't
know
if
it's
something
a
service
that
the
airport
provides
or
if
it's
their
Airline,
but
on
the
last
flight
from
Las
Vegas.
Yesterday,
the
day
before
yesterday,
it
took
40
minutes
for
from
where
the
airplane
landed
to
where
they
delivered
the
luggage.
Oh
40
minutes
the
people
were
waiting
outside
for
40
minutes,
so
I
don't
know
if
it
has
something
to
do
with
the
airport.
It's.
L
D
O
F
They've
been
doing
good
lately,
not
as
bad
as
they
used
to
be
with
the
with
the
MDS.
O
Mean
we
need
to
change
that
around
because
and
of
course
you
can't
get
you
know
people
when
they
get
here,
they
want
to
get
their
luggage
and
get
out
yeah.
Don't
give
them
an
excuse
to
complain
because.
Q
F
Why
would
you
want
to
do
that?
You're
right
here,
yeah,
yeah,
they're,
doing
better
yeah
I
mean
I
know
that
was
a
very
bad
publicity
that
they
got
back
in
the
day,
but
I
think
that's
when
they
got
the
when
they
had
the
the
MDS
operating.
That
was
more
of
an
operational
thing
with
that
Legion.
O
G
F
O
A
O
L
L
R
As
you
might
know,
a
legion
is
not:
they
don't
have
staff
stationed
here
at
the
airport
right
so
they're,
coming
from
different
locations
wherever
they're
part-time
jobs
or
what
have
you
so
this
this
past
weekend,
this
past
flight
I,
remember
the
the
manager
saying
that
there
were
a
little
short
staffed,
the
people
that
they
thought
were
going
to
show
up
didn't
show
up.
So
not
only
do
you
have
the
Personnel
that
are
removing
the
bags
from
the
from
the
from.
F
L
B
A
Yeah
but
I
know
we
had
discussion
last
month
as
well
in
regarding
to
the
tower
any
information
on
I.
Don't
know
on
the
tower
yeah
because
we're.
F
Writing
time
frame,
yeah
no
I
mean
they're
still
operating
from
from
six
to.
A
F
Yeah
I
want
to
make
sure
yeah
yeah,
we'll
we'll
send
my
emails
out
there
and
try
to
lobby
for
more
money
for
the
towel.
Yeah,
that's
basically
or
with
all
we
can
do
since
it's
an
FAA.
