Description
Blue Ribbon Committee Meeting 031721
A
Today
is
march
17th
2021,
I'd
like
to
open
already
to
the
new
ribbon
committee
for
people
with
disabilities
and
first
item
on
the
agenda
is
to
review
the
in
october
minutes
february:
24th
2021,
so
you
all
please
do
that
at
this
time.
If
you've
not
had
the
opportunity
to
do
so.
Please
look
at
those
now
and
let
me
know
if
there
are
any
changes,
reviews
edits
any
changes,
any
corrections
that
you
feel
that
are
necessary
to
three
minutes.

A
A
A
F
I
wanted
to
report,
I
made
my
agenda
a
bit
smaller
and
what
I'll
do
is,
at
the
end
of
the
day,
I'll
forward
the
agenda
of
what
I
of
the
topics
that
I
discussed
today
to
everyone
in
our
group.
Email.
F
I
wanted
to
hit
on
specific
updates
and
topics
for
our
program
this
month.
Our
program
connected
with
the
down
syndrome,
community
support
group
on
march
21st.
It
is
down
syndrome
day
awareness
and
we've
collaborated
to
propose
a
virtual
event
for
the
families
we've
also
requested,
as
as
per
the
family's
request,
they
wanted
to
learn
more
about
educational
transitional
workshops,
so
our
program
is
going
to
be
able
to
collaborate
with
the
colleges
and
universities
to
offer
that
information
on
the
special
services
for
students
and
the
registration
process.
F
F
On
an
upcoming
event,
we've
connected
with
deputy
sheriff
rodney
rangel
from
bexar
county
to
conduct
a
training
for
responders
and
pd
on
responding
to
individuals
with
idd
the
course
will
be
instructed
by
rodney
rangel,
who's
a
certified
idd
pd.
I
believe
law
enforcement
trainer.
His
courses
that
he
will
bring
down
to
the
police
department
will
be
accredited
to
tico.
F
This
training
outlook
date
will
be
for
the
month
of
april
I'll
make
sure
to
keep
the
committee
updated
on
the
event.
We
did
invite
deputy
rodney
rangel
to
laredo
and
he
also
shared
with
us
a
virtual
event
that
was
hosted
by
the
autism
treatment
center,
which
is
parent
talk
in
san
antonio.
It
was
really
informative.
Great
you.
We
had
groups
of
families,
moms
caregivers,
express
you
know
the
concerns
of
the
autism,
the
autism
community
and
the
safety
they
have
in
their
community.
F
Deputy
ranghan
was
a
presenter
whenever
they
do
decide
to
go
into
more
more
presentations,
I'll
forward
that
to
our
group
to
see
if
anyone
would
like
to
tune
in
and
get
a
little
bit
more
information,
but
I'm
really
excited
that
mr
angel
has
decided
to
partner
up
with
us
on
this
and
help
our
community
learn
more
on
responding
to
individuals
with
idd.
F
F
F
It
was
a
webinar
that
was
presented
the
practices
to
promote
the
inclusion
for
individuals
that
have
disabilities
in
our
community
and
how
to
make
public
recreation
spaceship
spaces
and
other
participating
daily
activities
evolve
into
community
living,
the
inver
the
information
we
received
on
that
was
insightful,
and
I
was
really
happy
to
attend
that
I'm
hoping
to
continue
attending
other
webinars
that
pertain
to
these
topics
to
bring
more
inclusive
activities
for
our
disability
community,
and
I
will
also
keep
everyone
posted
on
that
and
share
that
information.
F
Yes,
thank
you.
Those
emergency
funds
are
going
to
focus
on.
It
could
be
in
transportation,
utilities,
clothing
daily
living
supplies.
Anything,
that's
it
needed.
Essentially,
it's
like
what
we
did
this
last
coming
year
for
year
2021
this
year.
We
did
get
awarded
this
for
the
application
and
we're
excited
so
we're
hoping
to
hear
a
little
bit
more
from
the
families
and
and
getting
more
feedback
on
what
is
truly
needed,
so
that
we
can
make
sure
these
funds
are
put
into
good
use
for
the
families
on
an
emergency
fund
level.
F
Our
therapeutic
garden
project
is
rolling
and
I'm
so
excited
to
say
that
we
have
sprouting
veggies.
We
have
tomatoes,
we
have
carrots
and
you
name
it.
It's
really
exciting.
I've
been
out
there
every
day.
It's
been
two
weeks
and
the
ideas
of
a
sensory
garden
and
projects
for
families
are
going
to
be
introduced.
F
Our
our
volunteer
veteran
has
brought
ideas
to
my
attention
that
are
going
to
that
we're
going
to
incorporate
with
the
families
and
children
that
visit
the
visit
the
wic
department
on
their
appointment
dates.
I
really
enjoy
the
help
and
efforts
that
they're
really
putting
in
it
was
not
too
long
ago.
I
was
contacted
by
several
veteran
programs
here
in
laredo
I
connected
with
mr
victor
salazar.
F
I'm
sorry
I
connected
with
mr
victor
salazar
who's,
the
veterans
program
coordinator
for
the
texas
veterans,
network
and
veterans
affairs
services
in
regards
to
referring
and
collaborating
on
the
therapeutic
project.
Our
program
was
sent
a
volunteer
provider
contact
application
to
have
veterans
refer
to
our
project,
so
I'm
glad
that
we're
able
to
collaborate
on
projects
such
as
these
and
help
everyone
in
the
process.
F
Our
staff
also
again
connected
with
the
university
of
texas.
In
austin
disability
study
center
we've
decided
to
start
marketing
the
march
31st
event.
I
believe
I
sent
that
a
flyer
to
our
group.
If
anyone
is
needing
an
additional
flyer
or
email,
please
let
me
know
I'm
happy
to
send
that
over
the
event
is
on
march
31st
it'll
be
about
45
to
an
hour.
F
I
believe
mr
jeff
cakes
will
be
helping
us
understand
and
educating
us
on
the
tool
for
the
one
page
profile.
It
is
a
training
webinar.
F
I
invited
community
support
groups,
hospitals
and
other
agencies
to
the
event
again,
please
let
me
know
if
you
have
any
questions
regarding
this
event
for
march
31st,
our
our
staff
is
also
we're
continuously
trying
to
collaborate
and
connect
with
other
agencies
this
this
past
month
we
connected
with
the
south
texas
developmental
council.
F
F
We've
also
worked
this
past
week
on
a
conference
with
texas
workforce
commission.
Our
goal
is
to
provide
a
a
a
transitional
health,
fair
it
being
virtual,
but
in
the
means
to
provide
transitional
information
and
services
which
include
adult
health
care,
secondary
education
transition
and
job
vocational
training.
That's
still
we're
still
in
the
process
of
meetings.
F
Trying
to
you
know,
of
course,
iron
out
the
the
wrinkles
of
what
what
how
the
event
is
going
to
be
hosted
when
it's
going
to
be
posted,
but
our
our
goal
is
to
have
this
transitional
health
fair
all
in
one.
Not
too
long
ago,
when
I
was
conducting
surveys
with
families,
I've
noticed
that
you
know
they
were
invited
to
several
different
events.
It
became
overwhelming
for
them,
especially
when
their
young
adult
is
transitioning
into
adulthood.
F
They
ask
themselves
what
is
the
next
step,
so
my
goal
was
to
put
it
all
in
a
one-stop
shop
where
we're
able
to
have
you
know,
of
course
the
ideas
are
still
being
thrown
out
there,
whether
it
be
a
week,
a
conference
of
specific
services
and
information
that
are
being
provided
to
the
families,
but
I'm
really
looking
forward
to
these
collaborations
with
agencies
and
organizations
to
help
me
with
this,
because
I
believe
it's
gonna
benefit,
of
course,
the
families,
but
the
young
adult
that's
transitioning
into
adulthood
other
than
that.
F
That's
the
the
the
end
of
my
agenda
or
my
my
information
for
today.
If
there's
any
questions,
please
let
me
know
or
if
you,
if
you
want
any
more
information
on
the
upcoming
events,
please
let
me
know
right
now.
I
am
planning
two
months
ahead
because
again
the
awareness
is,
I
just
want
to
prepare
with
community
support
groups
to
make
sure
they
have
our
full
support
and
know
that
here,
as
a
city
we're
worse,
you
know
supporting
the
awareness,
not
only
that
how
we
can
help
as
a
program
for
the
families.
A
You're,
seeing
the
the
educational
transition
workshop
and
the
laredo
police
department,
sheriff's
idd
pro
training
that
you're
going
to
have.
Is
that
going
to
be
virtual
as
well?
Do
you
know
yet,
or
is
it
true
early
to.
F
Make
that
decision
the
the
help,
the
transitional
health
fair.
Our
goal
is
to
have
a
virtual.
The
pd
training
will
be
face
to
face.
Pd
is
currently
conducting
their
trainings
because
of
tko
accreditation
of
that
what
they
need
to
qualify
to
get
that
credit
for
their
police
department.
F
This
training,
as
far
as
with
mr
ranhel,
it
does
need
to
be
face
to
face
where
the
trainer
does
come
in
and
has
the
training
room.
Of
course
there.
They
are
following
cdc
guidelines
where,
let's
just
say
before
they
used
to
have
32
officers
in
one
one.
One
venue
now
they've
cut
it
into
making
sure
they
follow
through
on
cdc
guidelines,
and
they
still
have
you
know
their
safety
precautions.
F
But,
of
course,
in
the
month
of
april,
we'll
learn
a
little
bit
more
of
where
we're
at,
but
I
believe,
they're
still
going
to
be
following
cdc
guidelines
and
then
they're
also
going
to
be
coordinating
with
a
pd
training.
Supervisors
are
going
to
be
coordinating
with
mr
rodney
rangel
on
the
sessions
and
how
long
the
sessions
will
be
so
that
they
complete
those
hours
for
that
training.
A
F
For
from
this
last
fiscal
year,
we
had
received
the
funding
for
emergency
relief
funding
for
our
clients.
We
had
purchased
250
gift
cards
at
a
hundred
dollars.
A
F
This
last
year,
when
we
were
conducting
surveys
on
the
surveys,
we
do
ask
you
know
from
daily
living
equipment
to
things
they
might
need
at
home,
whether
it
be
utilities
you
know,
with
the
pandemic,
many
people
lost
their
jobs,
so
families
were
having
difficulty
paying
for
utilities
or
any
essential
needs
that
they
might
have
needed
at
that
time.
Our
goal
as
a
program
was
to
connect
them,
so
I
know,
for
instance,
webb
county
caa
has
a
program
for
utilities.
F
So,
since
we
didn't
have
funding
for
that,
we
were
referring
them
to
these
programs,
so
they
could
apply,
for
you
know,
help
with
paying
the
utilities
or
finding
other
resources
that
target
that
need
for
them
this
year.
What
I
would
like
to
do
is
have
a
little
bit
of
everything.
F
Of
course,
it's
just
learning
the
ropes
of
it
of
making
sure
that
if
we
have
a
little
bit
of
you
know,
funds
for
clothing
utilities,
essential
needs
daily
living
items,
we'll
be
able
to
help
the
families
in
many
different
ways.
I
know
the
gift
card
did
help
a
lot
of
families,
especially
with
the
groceries,
but
we
we
could
still
do
that.
A
A
A
A
F
F
I
I
I
myself,
I
probably
have
undiagnosed
adhd,
but
I
I
do
try
to
put
my
energy
in
making
sure
that
when
there's
an
idea
out
there
and
I'm
sure,
there's
where
there's
a
will
there's
a
way
and
we
can
we
can
find
that
way.
So,
of
course,
I
always
recommend
towards
the
end
of
the
meeting
or
even
during
the
meeting.
If
there's
any
recommendations
or
ideas,
please
feel
free
to,
let
me
know
and
we
can
see
how
it
can
work
and
for
our
population.
E
You
and
if
I
may,
just
just
real
quick,
mr
castillo,
so
mr
net
christine
and
I
met
last
week,
it
may
have
been
regarding
this
transition
health,
fair.
So
we
brainstorm.
We've
got
a
bunch
of
really
great
ideas.
We
have
the
platform
to
do
it
on
the
easy
virtual,
fair
and,
of
course,
we
invite
the
partners,
like
jackie
uisd
lisd,
to
to
be
available
to
partner
with
us.
E
I
think
we're
looking
at
sometime
in
august,
if
my
memory
serves
me
correctly,
so
that
we
could
count
on
the
partners
to
be
there,
because
we
want
those
resources
of
course
available
to
those
folks
in
the
community,
but
I
just
want
to
throw
that
out
there.
Thank
you.
B
B
On
us
diana
hi,
I
do
want
to
say
that
at
the
last
meeting
last
month,
when
we
were
here,
I
was
very
interested
in
many
things
that
miss
reyes,
christine
was
talking
about.
So
I
invited
her
to
the
to
our
center
and
she
accepted,
and
I
gave
her
a
tour
of
the
center
and
explained
a
little
bit
about
what
we
do
and
how
we
specialize
in
and
assisting
special
needs
people
and
and
children,
and
we
sat
there.
B
How
we
can
collaborate
and
have
help
the
community
that
you
know
we
assist
you
at
the
center
and
and
how
we
could
also
help
in
collaborating
any
programs.
The
center
is
really
the
community's
center,
so
anything
that
we
can
help
for
and
cooperate.
B
I
did
show
her
our
kid
zone,
that
is,
for
the
children,
and
if
there
was
any
way
we
could
cooperate
on
that
we
are
working
on
expanding
our
sensory
room
and
that's
what
I
was
interested
in
also
because
I
heard
her
mention
something
about
sensory,
and
so
we
talked
a
little
bit
about
that
and
made.
B
Pleasure
to
have
met
her
in
person
and
to
just
absorb
all
the
energy
that
she
has.
I
really
congratulate
you,
christine
for
all
that
you
do
you're
an
amazing
person
and
helping
this
population,
and
also
being
a
mother
of
special
needs
children.
It's
just
amazing
how
you
have
the
time
to
do
it
so
kudos
to
you.
Thank
you
so
much
another
thing
erica.
I
love
your
haircut
looks
really
good.
A
Okay,
can
we
move
to?
I
guess
we're
in
the
second
item
of
better
that
element.
That
agenda
item
is
review
and
update
on
any
other
services
that
are
being
provided
to
people
within
disabilities
or
other
services
that
have
been
developed
as
a
result
of
the
poet
19
pandemic.
Do
we
have
anything
new,
that's
been.
D
Mr
castillo,
I
can
give
a
general
update
when
it
comes
to
vaccination
efforts
with
the
city
of
laredo.
As
many
of
you
may
already
know,
we
are
transitioning
to
a
partnership
with
curative,
which
are
is
the
agency
that
conducted
and
partnered
with
us
with
covic
testing.
D
D
Take
on
you
know,
kind
of
the
mass
population
of
of
those
that
currently
qualify
under
the
criteria
provided
by
the
department
of
state
health
services,
which
was
currently
revised.
Of
course,
you
know.
Health
workers
still
take
priority,
and
now
anyone
50
and
over
will
be
eligible
for
the
vaccine
and
then
anyone
under
that
with
chronic
conditions,
so
the
intent
is
for
them
to
to
reach
out
be
able
to
register
through
their
portal
online.
But
we
do
understand
that
our
community
also
has
a
demographic
that
might
not
have
access
to
internet.
D
So
we
continue
to
look
for
ways
here
at
the
health
department
to
target
that
demographic
to
ensure
that
they
will
be
vaccinated
as
well,
because,
of
course,
those
also
reflect
you
know
very
vulnerable
populations.
So
we
are
looking
to
target
efforts
throughout
all
of
our
zip
codes.
D
But
again
to
to
other
to
whatever
organization
is
willing
to
partner
with
us
to
ensure
that
their
patients
or
clients
obtain
the
vaccine
again
if
they
meet
the
eligible
criteria.
So
that's
where
we
are
now
city
of
loreto
continues
to
try
to
disseminate
the
the
correct
and
you
know
the
appropriate
system
and
the
information.
A
Yeah,
I
think
that
the
the
the
vaccine,
the
distribution
of
the
vaccines,
are
very
important
in
the
sense
of
know
that
I
tried
to
like
sign
on
to
the
website.
I
couldn't
do
it.
It
never
worked
for
me,
so
I
figured
if
I'm
having
difficulties
other
people
probably
find
it
quite
challenging
too,
and
it's
not
necessarily
because
the
services
are
not
being
provided.
It's
just
that
the
influx
of
number
of
calls
going
into
your
the
opportunity
that
window
opportunity
that
you
get
people
to
sign
up
is
challenging.
When
you
have
some.
D
List-
and
we
transitioned
to
the
software
that
we
we
were
promised
could
withhold
the
the
surge
of
of
of
traffic
within
that
website.
I
mean
it's
still.
D
D
Those
hits
were
from
mexico,
so
we're
able
to
kind
of
monitor
that
we
understand
that's
the
reality
of
living
in
a
border
community,
but
at
this
time
like
we
said,
I
mean
we're
not
and
and
really
if
they
are,
even
if
they
are
only
here
for
work
or
or
you
know,
kind
of
a
temporary
you
know
visit
to
to
our
community
there's
still
that
exposure
or
potential
exposure.
D
A
Yeah,
my
question
was
just
based
on
the
idea
that
that,
in
addition
to
the
regular
citizens
of
the
city,
you've
got
an
influx
of
of
the
population
that
also
travels
to
the
radar
daily
or
weekly
basis
for
work,
because
they're
from
other
smaller
communities
or
they're
from
across
norway.
So
that's
the
time
I
was
asking.
D
That's
out
to
our
residents
here
in
laredo,
we
are
working
again
to
partner
with
other
agencies
and
so
that
they
can
provide
information
on
their
particular
clients.
We
know
that
you
know
some
agencies
do,
require
some
sort
of
residency,
confirmation
or
or
have
certain
stipulations
to
be
enrolled
in
their
program.
So
we
know
that
the
need
is
there.
So
what
is
in
the
works?
D
Is
we
are
going
to
do
a
an
organization,
enrollment
type
of
of
procedure,
where,
let's
say
ruth
because
will
provide
a
point
of
contact
and
when
vaccine
is
is
allocated
then
we'll
reach
out
to
that
point
of
contact
and
say
you
know,
there's
20
vaccines,
how
many?
How
many
of
your
clients
are
in
need
and
then
we
would
take
from
from
those
populations.
So
again,
that's
an
effort
to
to
reach
those
those
that
difficult
demographic
that
might
not
have
immediate
access
or
or
needs
that
those
special
accommodations.
D
So
that
really
is
what
the
health
department's
purpose
is
is
to
serve
those
that
might
be
uninsured
or
not
have
access
immediate
access.
So
we
are
gearing
towards
that.
But
information
on
that
program
is
forthcoming.
Like
I
said.
D
About
laredo
is
that
we
do
have
that
communication
when
it
comes
to
the
different
agencies
and
we're
able
to
mobilize
quickly.
That
was
very
apparent
to
me.
When
I
started
you
know
attending
conferences
either
in
austin
or
even
outside.
The
state
was
that
you
know
it
seemed
like
such
a
novel
topic
in
a
lot
of
presentations,
about
building
coalitions
and
building
networks
and
and
bridging
those
private
and
public
partnerships,
and
I
think
here
in
laredo-
it's
very.
It
comes
very
easy
to
us.
D
So
it's
just
maximizing
that
network
and
ensuring
that
you
know
we
have
that
that
information
now
specific.
A
And
thank
you
for
all
your
efforts
to
distribute
and
disseminate
the
information,
as
well
as
the
vaccines
and
collaborating
with
others.
So
thank
you
for
the
information.
There
are
no
other
discussions
for
that
item
because
you
move
on
to
the
agenda
item
on
announcements.
Are
there
any
announcements
that
anyone
you
like
to
make
someone
getting
married?
A
A
A
Okay,
so
even
there
are
no
other
announcements,
I
guess
we
can
move
on
and
the
last
item
is
adjournment.
It
says
we
can
adjourn
the
meeting,
we're
pretty
much
done.
Ceci
are
you
there?
C
C
Was
sitting
here
husband
by
the
way
I
I
wanted
to
ask
y'all's
prayers
for
my
husband,
my
husband
was
had
a
stroke
about
I'd,
say
well
the
week
the
storm
hit.
I
had
my
own
texas
storm.
Okay,
so
he's
undergoing
therapy
right
now
and
everything.
So
it's
been
a
trying
time
for
us,
but
a
great
opportunity
is
to
see
things
from
a
different
perspective.
I'm
always
engaged
in
helping
others
move
forward
when
they
they
acquire
or
are
born
with
disabilities.
C
In
my
case,
it's
been
a
little
bit
of
a
you
know,
taking
a
things
from
a
different
perspective,
so
we're
moving
a
different
direction
and
we're
planning
to
incorporate
other
services
that
we
had
not
done
before
into
what
we
do
right
now,
because
it's
it's
different
when
you're
on
the
on
the
other
side
as
much
as
we
do
for
people,
we
discover
things
that
we
didn't
know
existed,
barriers
that
we
encounter
that
are
you
know
that
we've
had
to
navigate,
but
we're
grateful
for
the
opportunity
for
growth
and
we're
believing
by
faith
that
god's
going
to
move
forward.
C
You
know
we've
got
to
meddle
things
out,
and
you
know
one
of
the
biggest
things
is
that
you
think
you
have
all
the
all
the
answers
to
where
people
need
to
be
serviced,
even
though
they're
your
family
members,
but
when
it
comes
to
family,
it's
it's
a
combination
of
people
that
and
it's
feeling,
like
you're,
being
pulled
from
one
side
to
another,
because
one
person
wants
this.
The
other
person
wants
this,
and
so
it's
been
a
growing
process.
So
we're
very
grateful.
C
C
C
That
no
his
stroke
had
already
occurred.
He
had
he
had
the
straw,
he
had
his.
I
call
his
texas
storm
the
tuesday
after
the
what
is
it
called
the
the
like
that
week,
instead
of
being
on
monday,
he
had
he
he
got
sick
on
on
tuesday.
He
had,
he
was
like
always.
He
was
fixing
someone's
piping
at
a
house.
You
know
he
was
doing
something
for
others,
and
I
got
a
call
I
was
in
north
lorado.
C
I
got
a
call
that
was
a
day
that
the
traffic
was
like
all
backed
up,
because
all
the
lights
were
out
and
stuff
like
that.
They
called
me
up
and
they
said
cesi,
they
think
pastor
fell
and
he
can't
walk,
and
I
tried
calling,
but
the
lady
who
he
was
working
with,
was
living
in
in
the
north
side,
in
the
south
side
of
laredo
and
so
on.
C
Santa
rita,
and
I
knew
I
happened
to
know
where
the
place
was
at
because
we
had
gone
in
on
sunday
night
to
take
some
blankets
and
some
food
over
to
her,
because
she
had
no
lighting,
and
you
know
she
was
just
not
doing
well
with
her
daughter.
She
has
a
daughter
with
a
disability,
so
when
I
arrived
he
was
slurping
with
his
left
hand,
he
was
trying
to
have
a
caldito,
the
lady
didn't
know
what
to
do
and
she
her
phone
wasn't
answering.
So
I
got
there.
C
I
look
at
him
and
I
recognize
the
symptom.
I
said,
don't
worry
about
it.
I
said
he's
out
driving.
I
said,
no
I'll
drive
you,
so
I
drove
as
fast
as
I
could
to
mercy
hospital,
and
that
was
the
last
time
I
saw
him.
It
is,
I
think
the
most
overwhelming
process
was
dropping
him
off
there
and
having
and
being
told,
if
you
don't
leave
the
premises,
we
will
arrest
you.
Okay,.
C
But
he's
fine,
so
it
is
it
is.
It
is
a
try
time,
but
we
are
grateful
for
god's
mercy
and
his
grace
and
he's
he
has
a
hitler
for
a
wife
who
has,
even
though
he
was
in
between
transition.
I
told
him
I
said
I
don't
know
exactly
what
to
do,
but
I
I
do
know.
One
thing
I
said
I
want
to
make
you
work
so
apart
from
time
is
hand
down.
I
made
him
work
as
much
as
I
could.
C
He
chose
to
sign
himself
out
of
the
hospital
because
he
figured
I'm
gonna
get
home,
god's
gonna.
Heal
me,
everything's
gonna,
be
fine,
god
makes
doctors
for
a
reason.
You
know,
and
sometimes
you
you
have
to
move
forward
and
hospitals
don't
have
things
in
place.
So
that's
one
of
my
next
projects,
I'm
actually
I've
already
spoken
to
the
state.
C
I'm
looking
for
ways
in
which
I
can
go
through
training
to
become
an
advocate
for
stroke
victims,
because
there's
got
to
be
a
process
in
place
like
everywhere
else
and
laredo
does
not
have
a
process
in
place.
They
dismiss
people
without
talking
to
the
next
of
kin,
and
that
becomes
very
difficult
because
the
next
difference
doesn't
know
doesn't
know
what
to
do.
I
happen
to
have
a
little
bit
more
knowledge,
but
people
take
chill
their
families
home
like
they
do.
C
We
either
burn
down
the
bridge
or
we
build
a
bridge,
so
I'm
choosing
to
build
a
bridge
for
this
one.
Okay,
so
we're
very,
very
appreciative.
A
Well
so,
sam,
I'm
sorry
to
hear
about
your
husband
always
difficult
when
you
have
an
individual
who
provides
so
many
other
services
for
other
individuals
with
needs
and
disabilities,
and
they
themselves
are
now
in
a
way
the
victims
of
that
very
same
those
very
same
issues,
but.
C
But
you
know
what
I
think:
one
of
the
great
things
is
that
while
he
has
paralysis
on
his
right
side,
god
was
merciful.
His
voice
was
almost
intact.
He
has
a
slight
slur
in
a
speech,
but
he
can
still
preach
if
he
needs
to
and
he's
a
fighter.
We
we
went
over
and
we
made
this
huge
poster
of
him
when
he
was
a
a
young
youth
and
he
added
I
I
made
fun
of
him
because
he
had
at
that
time.
C
He
didn't
have
a
shirt
on
and
he
had
an
eight
pack.
So
we
made
this
huge
poster
and
we
plugged
it
on
the
wall.
We
plugged
it
everywhere
where
he
goes,
and
it's
to
encourage
him
to
remind
him
that
he
was
a
fighter,
then
he's
a
fighter
now
and
well.
Yes,
he
is
a
victim,
I
believe
he's
the
victor,
because
he
stands
today
firm
on
the
belief
that,
through.
A
A
There's
a
stroke
last
year
and
he
had
a
second
one
which
he
did
not
survive.
A
It's
difficult
when
you
have
individuals
who
have
been,
though
individuals
and
have
spearheaded
so
many
projects
and
programs
and
stuff
like
that,
and
then
all
of
a
sudden
they
they
have
to
succumb
to
something
that
yeah
a
lot
of
their
choosing.
But
it's
just
a
physical
ailment
that
occurs
and
and
one
of
the
last
locations
that
he
sought.
Health
was
from
with
big
cow
and
he
was
very
happy
there.
A
C
He's
doing
a
lot
better,
a
lot
better,
and
I
said
we,
I
I
told
him
baby
steps.
I
said
we
we
have
we're
still
having
outside
services
in
our
church,
and
so
we
have
parking
lot
services
and
so
a
couple
of
yeah.
I
think
it
was
two
weeks
ago
he
got
out
of
the
truck,
and
he
says
you
know
he
says
mom.
C
He
says
he
calls
mom,
sometimes
because
we
got
used
to
that
and
he
says
I'm
gonna
walk
to
the
pulpit,
and
so
I
parked
the
truck
he
got
out
and
the
church
people
were
in
the
vehicles
and
it
felt,
like
I
said,
not
a
lot
of
women
and
a
lot
of
people
get
to
see
their
loved
ones.
Take
their
first
steps.
I
got
to
see
my
husband
take
his
first
steps,
all
the
way
to
the
pool,
but
I
heard
this
at
the
the
church,
clap
and
I'm
thinking
like
I've
got
a
two-year-old.
C
So
it's
been,
it's
been.
C
And
the
the
awareness
of
different
aspects
of
disabilities
is
enhanced
by
the
mere
fact
that
we
are
now
living
it.
So
we're
grateful
for
that
opportunity.
A
Well,
whenever
you
experienced
anything
like
that
for
me,
it
was.
I
had
a
new
grown
bond,
respect
for
stress,
okay,
because
you
hear
about
strokes
and
you
hear
about
strokes
and
it's
like
well,
it's
just
something
that
it's
objective:
it's
it's
it's
out
there,
okay,
but
when
it
affects
someone
close
to
you,
it's
a
very
different
ballgame,
yes,
okay
and
so,
and
I'm
assuming
that
happens
in
the
case
of
strokes
cancer.
Anything
like
that.
Okay,
it
becomes
very
different,
and
so
I
I
wish
him
well.
A
I
wish
him
a
speedy
recovery,
but
he
looks
good
because
I
told
you
I
couldn't
tell
anything
so.
E
There
are
no
words
right
to
express,
I'm
sorry
if
I
may,
but
yes,
you
are
a
wonderful
individual,
always
helping
everyone,
so
our
prayers
are
with
you.
Thank
you
and
you
know,
vr
is
here
too,
he
is
employed.
C
C
I
had
to
sit
back
and
say:
okay,
I
have
to
consider
the
fact
that
this
is
dad
calling
and
I
can't
I
can't
qualify
where
he
comes
from.
C
And-
and
I
really
want
to
thank
you
for
that-
that's
where
my
hiccup
becomes
evil,
trying
to
navigate
and
quit,
making
that
options
replaced
and
then
we
move
forward.
So
we
do
have
an
unemployment
pending
at
houston
on
the
31st
we're
in
the
world
forward,
and
I
think
that.
A
Good,
so
I
guess
we
can
try
to
adjourn
okay,
and
so,
if
anyone
else
has
anything
else
to
say
I
guess
we
can
conclude
the
meeting.
So
I
need
someone
to
motion
to
adjourn
and
I
need
someone
a
second
please.
