Description
CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU ADVISORY COMMITTEE 080521
A
A
B
Just
a
reminder
to
all
of
our
members
that
after
the
third
unexcused
absence
you
at
the
fourth,
you
forfeit
your
your
spot
and
we
don't
want
to
lose
anybody.
So
if
you
cannot
come
to
the
meetings,
even
if
you
text
us
right
before
the
meeting
that
has
just
let
us
know
that
we
can
attend
and
we'll
we'll
pass
it
on
to
the
chair,
that's
excused.
C
A
Thank
you,
mr
o'donnell.
Moving
on
to
the
approval
of
our
minutes
from
the
july
1st
meeting,
which
is
on
page
two,
I
know
that
we
approve
and
stay
in
here.
Second
promotion
carries
on
the
approval
of
the
minutes.
Do
we
have
any
public
or
citizen
comments
to
bring
to
our
meeting
today.
E
Video,
I
I
invite
you
all
to
come,
it
will
all
be
outdoors
and
we
do
encourage.
E
A
F
D
A
In
different
parts,
there's
reports
that
are
discussed
and
presented,
then,
if
there's
any
other
comments
throughout
this
whole
process,
you're
welcome
to
your
bringing
month,
and
so
you
know
it
will
be
the
first
one.
It's
pretty
much
the
same
process
every
meeting,
so
once
you
go
through
it
once
most
likely
should
be
good.
A
Okay,
thank
you
for
the
public
information,
margarita
we're
moving
on
to
the
reviewing
of
our
year-to-date
financial
statement,
which
is
on
page
five.
Thank
you.
B
B
We
wanted
to
make
sure
that
we
were
getting
the
the
hotel
occupancy
tax
to
balance
our
budget,
and
so
we
wanted
to
make
sure
we
were
not
going
over.
In
page
six,
you
can
see
our
collections
for
the
tax
collections
and
we
continue
to
be
on
the
positive
side.
If
you
see
we
have
the
three
last
columns,
which
is
the
projection,
our
updated
projection
and
then
the
actuals
to
date,
so
we
have
been
reviewing
the
numbers
to
make
sure
that
we're
also
we're
also
deposited,
and
this
this
is.
B
This
is
very
important
information
we're
basing
our
budget
for
next
year,
which
we're
right
now.
The
city
is
in
the
budget
presentation
and
during
the
budget
workshop,
and
so
I'm
ready
to
to
present
to
council
if
necessary,
but
we're
basing
our
budget
in
this
numbers
and
making
sure
that
we're
not
exceeding
the
collections
and
what
it
saved,
because
we've
been
very,
very
frugal
for
the
last
few
years.
So
we
have
money
in
the
bank.
F
Thank
you,
those
projections.
You
really
did,
because
that
was
such
a
you
know
unknown.
You
know
what
was
going
to
happen.
You
know
there
were
just
things
coming
out
that
those
big
unknowns
would
affect
your
your
budget.
You
know
the
the
taxes
you
know
for
the
hotel
motown.
That
was
so
you
know
they
did
an
excellent
job.
Thank.
B
You
and
definitely
I
have
to
give
photos
to
my
team,
because
whenever
I
yeah,
I
brought
it
up,
we
need
to
everybody
was
open
to
ideas
working
with
the
agencies
working
internally
to
make
sure
that
we
we
were
in
line.
B
To
the
council,
not
yet
we're
on
the
third
day,
and
they
usually
start
with
a
bigger
department.
There's
there's
times
where
I
haven't
had
to
present
today.
D
B
We're
ready
we're
prepared,
but
it's
to
cancel
two
requests.
If
they
want
to
see
a
presentation
or
not,
they
have
a
presentation.
They
have
the
fact
that
they
have
all
the
information,
but
the
time
might
not
be
right
or
they
might
not
have
any
questions
or
we
might
not
have
any
asks,
because
that
is
a
big,
a
big
element.
There's
various
departments
that
have
specific
asks
beyond
the
budget
like
personnel
or
like
capital.
B
Projects-
in
this
case,
we
don't
have
anything
beyond
our
budget,
so
we
we,
we
might
not
get
called
present,
but
I'll
be
happy
to
bring
the
presentation
that
I
prepare
for
council
to
the
advisory
committee
for
next
month.
How.
A
A
B
So
we
we
continue
to
monitor
the
situation
because,
as
you
know,
and
everything
goes
up
and
down-
and
things
like
I
was
reading
yesterday
about
the
decision
from
the
federal
government
to
only
allow
vaccinated
international
travelers
that
might
also
affect
us
business.
You
know
we're
promoting
vaccinations
in
in
laredo,
and
so
that
has
been
a
sort
of
influence
of
people,
so
we're
monitoring
everything
to
see
what
my
effect
is
positively
and
how
you're
doing
sure.
C
F
There's
always
a
you
know
being
brought
up,
you
know,
I
guess
more
often
now
than
before,
but
from
mexico
to
for
us
to
open
to
them
to
mexico.
What
is
the
deadline
or
what
is
the
timeline.
B
There
is,
unfortunately,
there
is
no
timeline.
I
can
tell
you
that
this
last
time,
every
month
the
21st
is
when
they
announced,
if
they're,
going
to
continue
their
restrictions
or
not,
and
I
can
tell
you
this
time
we
thought
we
we
were
gonna
have
restrictions
lifted
because
it
was
six
hours
before
the
deadline
and
we
hadn't
heard
anything
so
clearly.
Elena
and
the
agency
work
with
the
finger
on
on
the
click
to
say,
yeah,
we're
open
and
then
like
four
hours
before
the
deadline
they
set
up.
B
F
A
Know
I
talked
to
my
housekeeper:
who's
had
to
stay
in
a
little
room
and
she
has
several
businesses
over
there,
but
she's
been
with
our
family
since
she
was
18.
So
she
comes
anyway
to
my
house
every
now
and
then
anyway,
I
spoke
to
her
and
she
says
that
in
her
neighborhood,
which
is
which
is
just
saturated
with
young
people
she's,
you
know
she
her
family
is
the
only
one
who's
vaccinated,
because
the
other
people
just
think
it's
nuts.
B
The
other,
the
other
element
is
if
it's
all
young
people
in
mexico,
they
haven't
vaccinated
anybody
below
30.,
no,
so,
and
not
because
of
that
people
don't
want
to
because
their
their
program
goes
by
ages,
and
so
they
started
60
and
over
back
in
probably
march
april,
and
then
they
moved
50
and
over
and
then
40
and
over
and
they're
barely
getting
to
the
30th
over.
So
we've
had
a
lot
of
people
under
30
come
to
get
vaccinated.
F
B
And
hoping
that
that
things
to
see
how
how
that
is
going
to
affect
and
how
we
need
to
that's
the
that's
the
energy.
B
We
have
sport
experiments
and
we
have
one.
We
have
conferences
and
we
have
one
for
the
following
months,
and
so
we
are
we're
very
we're,
very
vigilant
of
what's
going
on
too,
to
make
the
necessary
updates
and
changes.
E
I
was
wondering
eileen
if
you
keep
tabs,
or
are
you
current
with
the
hotel
hotel
funds
as
far
as
the
third
party
funding
committee
for
the
coming
year,
because
just
from
watching
their
meetings,
it
seems
as
if
people
came
in
at
the
very
end
that
have
not
applied
for
funding
and
they
were
now
being
considered,
and
it
seems
that
things
like
that
happen
all
the
time
well
annually,
where
you
know,
there's
a
whole
set
of
contract
rules
for
for
applicants
for
nonprofits
that
are
playing
and
deadlines
and
requirements
about
trainings
and
this
and
that
that
you
have
to
do
and
then
and
then
you
know
the
deadline
has
it.
E
F
E
That
was
that,
and
now
it's
interesting
I
don't
know
if
anybody's
really
pushing
them,
making
them
aware
of
that
fact,
there's
also
the
stipulation
in
the
contract
that
says:
nonprofits
cannot
approach
any
city
official
about
funding
during
the
blackout
period,
and
this
is
clearly
the
blackout
theory.
So
I'm
not
saying
this.
As
a
representative,
I've
heard
his
foundation
of
saying
it
as
a
non-profit
journal.
Yes,.
B
I
will,
I
will
definitely
bring
it
to
the
director
of
community
development.
I
had
an
opportunity
to
chat
with
her
and
with
the
program
director
for
third
party
funding
this
week,
and
so
I
will
definitely
bring
it
to
them.
They
requested
a
training
with
phla
which
we've
had
in
the
past.
Obviously
this
this
time
it
would
be
virtual
just
to
bring
everybody
up
to
speeding
and
the
use
of
fair,
great
money,
which
I
would
love
for.
You
follow
me
to
to
also
join
the
training.
A
In
their
defense,
sometimes
people
just
approach
them
and
you
know
they
don't
wanna.
They
don't
want
to
get
into
it
or
say
anything
and
they
say
well
come
and
make
a
presentation.
And
then
that's
all
because
I
mean
you
know
they're
elected
officials.
They
don't
want
to
say
no,
it's
too
late
go
away.
You
know
kind
things
like
that,
because
I
you
know
I
just
from
experience.
I
know
that
has
happened
in
the
past,
so
just
in
their
defense.
A
That
might
be
what
be
happening
and
hopefully
the
rules
will
apply
and
someone
will
say
sorry
you're
late.
You
know
we
love
your
application,
but
come
back
next
year
now,
if
they
get
funded,
then
that's
just
really
a
breach
of
the
contract
and
and
an
insult
to
all
those
non-profits
that
works
so
hard
to
put
all
those
things
together
that
are
demanded
of
them
really.
So
I
just
you
know,
want
to
say
that.
F
Well,
it's
true,
though,
that
you
know
that
those
nonprofits
that
miss
the
deadline
should
not
even
be
considered,
and
there
has
to
be
a
way
to
tell
them.
You
know
why
you
missed
a
deadline
and
we
can't
do
anything
about
it.
You
know
there
there's
there's,
there's
fairness
in
all
of
this
and
it's
simply
not
there
for
the
non-profits.
That
do
I
mean,
and
they
you
know
they
do
this
and
they
do
it
timely
and
to
the
rest
of
the
non-profits
and
do
it.
These
applicants
are
there's
non-profits
that
want
to
come
in
afterwards.
A
G
With
a
pandemic,
I
could
tell
you
all:
don't
get
ready
because
you're
going
to
see
more
organizations
right
now
already
I've
heard
several
that
did
not
apply
at
all,
but
they
want
money
because
they
didn't
get
their
pdp
laws
for
giving
and
they
didn't
supply
that
on
time
either.
So
now
they
want
to
come
back
and
some
of
them
from
what
I
hear
are
you
know,
do
provide
a
community
service,
but
they
didn't
do
what
they're
supposed
to
that's
the
bottom
line.
G
You
know
your
management,
we
have
to
look
beyond
and
let
us
their
targets
look
beyond
what
they're
doing,
but
they
have
to
look
at
the
management
of
the
organization
and
many
times
the
organization
is
language
negligent
in
their
job.
As
managing
all
the
paperwork,
like
you
say,
some
people
do
all
their
due
diligence
into
all
their
work,
but
there's
already
these
that,
don't
because
they
know
they
can
skip
10
steps.
G
B
So
would
that
committee
with
the
community
to
for
us
to
bring
community
developments
and
the
program
director,
maybe
to
do
a
presentation
of
what
they're
doing
the
process
that
they
and
we
can?
We
can.
E
They
eliminated
that
somewhere
along
the
way
and
just
gave
them
the
applications
to
read,
and
then
they
based
it
on
that,
and
I
think
that
was
a
mistake
because
a
lot
of
them,
I
think,
don't
read
the
applications
thoroughly
or
just
sort
of
skip
over
to
who
they
like
or
who
they
don't
like.
And
it's
a
very
different
story.
When
you're
asked
to
make
transportation,
and
now
you
have
to
make
a
case
for
your
funding.
B
F
B
Yeah,
because
that's
why
I
want
to
make
sure
that
any
any
questions
and
come
directly
to
them
and
the
answers
come
from
them
that
that
way,
I
think
it's
going
to
be
a
valuable
conversation.
A
A
B
On
my
report,
I
mentioned
a
lot
that
has
to
do
with
sister
cities.
We've
been
working
with
the
new
project
on
the
shop
trying
to
bring
our
sister
keith
and,
through
that
presence
and
grow
the
attractions
in
downtown,
so
that
more
people
can
come,
and
this
in
turn
benefit
other
attractions
in
our
community,
especially
in
this
area.
B
I
was
also
very
focused,
as
I
mentioned,
on
the
numbers
and
the
budget
for
our
fiscal
year,
especially
we've
been
really
focused
on
our
new
u.s
agency
of
record,
and
so
we
are
changing
agencies
for
the
u.s
we
had
relic
for
a
couple
of
years,
but
it
was
very,
very
good,
basically
helped
us
create
our
new
brand,
our
new
campaign.
It
is
due
to
some
some
issues
in
terms
of
of
management
on
their
card.
B
They
were
not
able
to
be
considered
for
this
bid
for
for
the
bid
this
time,
but
we're
going
with
a
very,
very
reputable,
very,
very
recognized
agency
called
the
zimmerman
agency
out
of
florida.
They
work
with
the
likes
of
police
mexico.
B
Several
communities
in
florida-
and
I
didn't
have
it
here
because
it
hadn't
been
approved
by
council
by
the
time
we
did
the
the
agenda,
but
I
wanted
to
mention
it
to
y'all.
You
want
to
cancel
on
monday,
and
so
now
we
can
go
ahead
and
start
the
process
of
the
po
and
the
requisition
and
the
contract,
and
all
that
so
we
haven't
signed
the
country
yet,
but
we're
in
the
works.
I
have
been
approved
by
council
and
I
wanted
to
bring
it
to
you.
B
I
would
like
for
them
to
also
do
a
quick
presentation
next
time,
just
to
introduce
themselves
to
you
all
and
where
we're
gonna
go
from
here.
I
think
it's
it's
the
next
level.
We
continue
to
look
at
our
marketing
for
the
us
to
grow
as
much
as
we
have
from
the
marketing
in
mexico.
That's.
B
As
you
know,
in
mexico
we've
been
very
strong
in
what
we
do,
and
so
we
want
to
make
sure
we're
replicating
that
in
the
us
and
so
we're
very
happy.
We
are
still
keeping
the
podcast
with
relic
because
that's
a
product
that
they
started
the
product
that
they're
very
strong
in
and
so
but
we're
really
excited
about
the
zimmerman
group,
the
zimmerman
agency
and
and
starting
to
work
with
them.
Obviously,
the
brand
is
going
to
stay
the
same,
we're
not,
but
that's
something
that
we
told
them.
B
We
want
their
input,
but
the
brand
is
young,
and
so
it
would
not
be
okay
to
change
it
right
away.
So
they're,
coming
in
with
ideas
for
ads
they're
coming
in
with
a
lot
of
different
products,
new
products
that
we
haven't
had
in
the
past,
so
we're
really
excited
and
what
goals
does
the
sport
play
in
that.
B
We
usually
have
operational
meetings
if
you
want
to
be
intuitive,
we'll
be
more
happy
to
to
invite
you
in
any
they're
going
to
actually
come
to
loretta
for
initial
consultation
and
getting
to
know
so
we
would
definitely
love
for
them
to
meet
with
all
of
you.
I
think
that
is
key
and
any
other
community
stakeholders.
We
were
very.
It
was
very
successful
when
we
had
relic
that
they
met
with
the
board
and
with
the
community
stakeholders
with
management.
B
So
they
got
to
know
how
everybody
works
and
they
got
to
hear
from
the
community
stakeholders
firsthand
what
everybody
their
view
of
the
right
of
their
perspective
on
direct.
So
we
want
to
make
sure
they
have
the
same
opportunity.
So,
yes,
we.
B
B
We
also
we
have
a
lot
of
communication
in
the
tourism
industry
in
texas,
but
also
with
other
states,
and
so
we
had
a
chance
to
go
to
tourism
college
and
I
asked
around
other
cities
if
they
had
and
other
vendors
if
they
have
heard
if
they
had
worked
with
them.
So
I
found
really
good
comments
from
other
tourism
industry
partners.
B
B
Right
now,
what
we
want
to
cancel
is
not
to
exceed
481
000
for
15
months,
15
months.
What
that
means
is
we
still
don't
have
the
the
specific
of
the
add-ons.
We
know
what
the
general
contract
is
going
to
be,
but
we're
adding.
They
have
some
products
that
we
want
to
see.
There
have
been
some
new
products
that
we
would
like
to
to
bring
in
and
so
we're
working
with
them.
We
haven't
finalized
a
contract
with
them,
yet
we're
working
on
the
numbers
to
see
what
what's
going
to
work
best.
B
B
Just
in
april,
we
did
a
a
presentation
together
to
the
national,
the
by
national
group.
So
yes,
we,
we
have
good
communication.
G
B
So
this
is
a
new
event
that
was
brought
by
councilmember
of
management.
She's
she's
very
excited
about
the
event
that
now
she
brought
it
to
the
wrestling
council
and
professor
approved.
This
is
an
event
because
we
have
gotten
so
many
companies
that
are
coming
to
laredo
through
economic
development.
Our
economic
development
department
they're
coming
to
the
right
of
bringing
avocados
to
the
region.
D
B
The
idea
is
to
highlight
that
new
business
and
so
there's
two
components
to
that
event.
One
is
going
to
be
on
friday
and
it's
going
to
be
more
of
a
networking
business
portion
of
the
event
in
front
of
that
one,
and
so
the
idea
is
that
companies
are
always
here
in
the
rail
in
the
international
trade,
with
avocado
meet
with
other
companies
that
might
have
similar
services
or
that
might
provide
services
to
them
so
sort
of
then
working
for
the
industry
and
the
other
part
is
going
to
be
a
family
festival.
B
And
so
we're
excited
we're
working
with
other
departments
and
putting
this
together,
there's
also
an
art
component,
we're
working
with
an
artist
on
a
potentially
a
giant
avocado,
that's
going
to
be
at
the
airport.
So
it's
it's
all
about
and
featuring
the
avocados
as
part
of
our
new
line
of
business.
H
B
Coming
and
we
had
the
following
week,
we
had
the
mayor-elect
of
san
mateo
coming
and
then
we
had
independent
footwear,
yeah
companies
coming
also.
I
Morning,
madam
chair
reporters
in
page
nine
this
this
week
and
last
week
we
hosted
the
pony
world
series.
I
We
had
a
total
of
12
teams,
six
for
the
for
the
bronco
and
and
another
six
teams
for
the
finale,
and
they
they
had
their
events
there
at
the
unitary
stadium
and
at
the
freddie,
benonitas
complex
and
then
starting
this
week.
Today
they
start
the
us,
the
usa,
boxing
texas
championship
boxing
tournament
will
be
this
week
as
well.
So
we
have
a
little
bit
over
200
boxers
that
are
coming
in
from
pretty
much
austin
houston
san
antonio,
the
valley,
there's
a.
I
I
They
normally
have
a
big
one,
big
coaches
orientation
meeting,
that
we
normally
go
and
we
present
this
year,
they're
breaking
it
down
per
day,
so
boxers
and
coaches
were
only
going
to
be
coming
in
the
day
that
they're
gonna
they're
gonna
box.
So
instead
of
having
one
big
one,
they're
gonna,
have
it
three
three
orientations.
I
So
they
start
everything
tomorrow
on
the
the
lanes
this
morning,
but
the
clouds
and
everything
will
be
tomorrow,
so
we're
really
excited
and
so
they're
taking
a
lot
of
the
protocols
and
we're
hoping
you
know
it
doesn't
affect
anything.
But
those
are
the
two
things
that
that
I
wanted
to
highlight.
I'm
not
sure
if
anybody
else
has
anything
that
any
questions
require
money
for.
I
Yeah
yeah
yeah
they
could,
they
could
they're
sending
tickets,
so
you
can
purchase
a
ticket.
I
believe
it's
20
for
23
and
you'll
be
able
to
go
and
be
a
spectator
and
watch
the
the.
I
They
currently,
they
have
two
rings
so
they'll
they'll
have
simultaneous
bouts
at
the
same
time
going
on.
So
that's
going
to
help
a
lot
but
they're
really
taking
a
trying
to
minimize
the
the
vouchers
interacting
with
others
only
when
they're
in
about
just
because
of
the
the
whole
code
situation.
I
So
they
the
arena,
has
set
up
some
stations
where
they
warm
up
and
they're.
If
they're
about
about
they're
they're
in
that
area,
and
then
they
get
close
to
the
to
fight
and
then
from
there
they
go,
and
so
they
I
cannot
isolate
them
as
well.
Just
to
make
sure
that
you
know
they
don't
get
sick
and
they
get
tested,
they
have
to
get
tested,
they
have
to
bring
they.
They
have
to
do
all
the
protocols
that
the
usa
is.
B
Are
you
guys
thinking
that
the
proper
safety
precautions
were
actually
I
was
talking
to
upon
yesterday,
they're
gonna
provide
face
masks
to
anybody
that.
B
Have
one
I'm
just
willing
to
wear
one?
Obviously,
as
for
the
state,
we
cannot
mandate
people
to
use
them,
but
they're
gonna
be
available
for
people
to
to
wear
if
necessary
and
yeah,
as
as
for
management
and
the
arena
they're,
taking
all
the
necessary
depressions
because
yeah,
we
want
to
avoid
this
becoming
any
sort
of
issue.
C
C
I
Well,
this
one
may
have
metal
detectors,
they
have
police
officers
standing
by
so.
C
B
C
A
Just
to
add
another
flavor
to
that
comment,
because
now
people
can
make
guns
with
the
hd
machines
what
you
don't.
What
what
you
need
in
addition
to
a
metal
detector
is
an
actual
gun
detector
and
there
are
companies
that
are
selling
those
anything
that
looks
like
a
gun
is
detected
on
the
same
cameras,
same
kind
of
cameras
as
the
metal
detectors,
and
you
actually
see
the
person
and
whatever
plastic,
or
you
know
thing
they
have
on
them.
D
E
B
C
They
should
have
okay
beer
drinkers
here,
because
I
remember
my-
I
remember
my
daughter
taking
our
kids
to
when
we
used
to
have
circuses
in
in
the
arena
right
and
my
daughter
took
her
kids
and
they
were
drinking.
People
were
drinking
and
I
said
I
didn't
go
to
a
place
to
have.
D
D
A
A
Thank
you
all
any
other
comments.
I
So
this
one
is:
this
is
the
kind
of
like
the
new
nafta,
which
is
the
united
states,
mexico,
canada
association.
So
basically
they
have
and
there's
an
event
in
san
antonio,
and
so
we
register
the
the
city
I
support,
so
I'm
coordinating
with
the
whole
team
who's
going
to
be
going
to
booth
we're
going
to
have
an
island
this
year.
This
is
the
first
event
that
is
happening
here
in
the
u.s.
I
This
organizers
are
from
mexico
now,
which
is
a
big
publication
from
mexico
and
they've
done
other
events
that
we
participated
like
the
aerospace
event,
the
mexico,
auto
industry
summit
and
leon,
and
the
last
one
that
they
had
was
in
monterrey,
so
they're
the
same
organizers
now
they're
they're.
This
is
the
first
thing
that
they're
being
moved
to
the
u.s.
I
So
obviously
because
we're
the
number
one
online
port,
we
want
to
make
sure
we're
there.
So
we
hired
a
we
contracted
an
island,
so
we're
gonna
have
a
booth
there
by
where
the,
where
they're
going
to
have
their
conferences.
The
mayor
is
going
to
be
speaking
as
well.
It's
going
to
do
a
welcome
as
well
part
of
the
the
package
that
we
got
and
it's
just
a
great
promotion
for
us
to
promote
ourselves.
G
I
You
so
we
have.
We
have
the
bridge
the
bridge
department's
going
to
be
there,
the
airport,
the
economic
development
I
know
the
ledc
will
have.
I
think
they
have
their
own
space
as
well,
so
mvc
will
be
there
as
well
and
so
we'll
have
the
main
departments,
which
is
the
airport
rich
and
economic
development
from
the
city
side.
I'm
not
sure
if
management
is
going
to
be
going
if.
B
D
B
Right
now
we
are
like
a
marketing
farm
for
that
group.
Right
now,
as
of
yesterday,
there
was
well
not
so
yesterday,
but
there's
a
person
being
hired
by
the
bridge,
that's
kind
of
the
marketing
manager
for
the
fourth,
so
our
our
involvement
is
gonna
decrease
a
little
bit,
but
the
idea
is
to
promote
the
board
as
the
number
one
unimportant
in
the
us.
G
B
I
So
the
I
think
the
registration
we
got
it
for
5500
for
that
and
we
actually
got
a
discount
because
we've
done
other
events,
but
the
actual
I
think
the
actual
cost
was
like
7500
to
the
standard.
We
got
the
space,
but
since
we
do
other
ones
and
then
with
kovic,
they
kind
of
kind
of
negotiate
with
him
hey.
You
know
we
because
of
having
cancer.
We
have
registered
for
other
events
that
you
had
in
mexico.
B
D
D
G
B
We
provide
our,
we
have
our
visitor
guidance,
we
have
ours,
but
we
also
have
to
support
the
works
with
bridge
works
with
airport
and
with
economic
development
to
push
out.
So
just
as
an
example,
we
work
with
a
magazine
called
trade
members,
and
so
we
would
put
an
ad
for
a
cdb
we
which,
which
are
with
our
promotion
when
you're
coming
to
loretta
for
work,
stay
and
have
fun,
and
then
they
would
put
here's
a
bridge
and
there's
the
airport.
So
we
have
a
confirmation
throughout
the
world.
I
Yeah,
so
we
have
different
brochures
assigned
to
that
trade
numbers
the
brochures,
the
right
card
that
we
do.
We
have
promotional
items
that
say
puerto
rico
as
well.
We
used
to
have
where
bridge
had
one
and
then
we
had
to
be
another
one,
and
then
the
airport
had
another
one,
but
it
was
kind
of
weird,
and
so
we
all
put
everything
and
we
merged
very
well
together.
B
An
element
that
we
have
in
most
of
the
he
was
very
adamant
that
every
time
we
go,
we
need
to
have
more
of
a
presence
so
we'll
either
have
a
presentation
by
the
mayor
or
by
a
council
member
or
by
management
or
even
one
of
the
directors
of
the
either
the
airport
or
the
bridge,
so
that
the
the
the
brand
of
puerto
rico
is
well
represented.
But.
B
Anything
that
has
to
do
with
court
is
divided
yeah.
I
guess.
G
But
my
point
on
this
is
because
it's
the
summit
that's
been
happening,
and
I
know
that
right
now,
most
of
these
summits,
most
of
these
gatherings
want
money
yeah
to
make
money,
so
we
were
offered
who,
for
this
effect
also
we
took
it
and
then
from
there
you
know
I
thought
we
were
talking
about
it.
We
said
who
else
is
in
there
from
laredo?
G
You
know
wells
needs
a
space
different
and
then
because
there
are
people
coming
like
you
say
from
all
over
well,
we
want
to
promote
the
rail
every
opportunity
we
can
so
then
somebody
said
well,
you
have
do
you
have
stuff
from
like
the
city
that
you
can
put?
That's
it
might
god
that's
when
I
find
out
that's
when
I
found
out
the
city
had
a
booth,
and
I
did
but
now
you're
explaining
it,
and
it
makes
a
lot
more
sense
that
you're
covering
a
lot
of
ground,
not
just
cbd
or.
G
You
know
back
to
the
hotel,
you
know
it's
very
important
for
hotel,
hotels
and
restaurants.
I
know
we,
the
chamber
has
started
their
own
restaurant
association,
basically
because
of
that,
because
of
their
suffering
financially,
you
know
they
want
to
bring
anything
from
the
states.
We
obviously
have
to
put
it
on
mexico
right
now.
We
can't
so
we
have
to
think
outside
the
box,
and
I
guess
that's
where
this
comes
in
also
so
we
were
actually
offering.
You
know,
restaurants,
to
show
their
cars
or
brochures.
D
G
D
G
D
B
D
C
G
That's
the
point
here
is
that,
basically,
that
our
our
local
economy
is
based
on
a
lot
of
mom-and-pop
restaurants-
and
that
was
a
that
was
also
an
issue
where
it
came
to
other
ppp
loans,
because
a
lot
of
these
people-
don't
have
you
know,
accountants
that
just
turn
over
the
paperwork.
So
again
we
saw
the
difficulty
there.
G
We
saw
their
flight
and
a
lot
of
people
didn't
get
to
get
their
money
because
they
didn't
have
prepared
statements
and
things
that
they
were
required,
and
you
know
quite
frankly,
that's
an
article
that
we're
working
on
is
trying
to
help
people.
You
know
entrepreneurs
yeah.
You
know,
I
guess
the
the
the
mom-and-pop
entrepreneurs
with
that
type
of
work
because
they
don't
they.
They
don't
survive
these
type
of
things
like
the
vendetta.
You
know
they
don't
know
how
to
manage.
You
know
how
to
negotiate
over
and
just
something.
That's
people
negotiating
elites.
They
can't.
A
We,
actually,
you
know,
filled
out
the
forms
for
them
or
helped
them
fill
out
the
forms
and
get
the
yeah.
That
was
very
important
for
us
to
do
and
last
meeting
you
don't
know
this,
but
I
mentioned
that
the
the
the
food
company
loreno.
A
D
A
D
B
We
have
a
history
and
we
have
a
culinary
heritage
that
it's
amazing,
yes,
and
so
that
is
something
that
I
again.
Somebody
yesterday
told
me
like.
Oh
there's
nothing
to
do
here
and
I
just
have
different
colors,
but
it's
it's
it's
that
that
makes
us
unique
it's
that
culture.
That
heritage
is
that
history
is
that
food
culinary
offerings.
Our
attractions
are
big
here
in
our
community.
So
that's
that's
very
important.
Thank
you
and.
G
I
think
that
was
one
of
the
great
things
about
the
working
heritage
deal.
I
really
enjoyed
that
whole
campaign
because.
B
A
B
Safe
we're
coming
in
november
19th
to
the
21st,
hopefully
here
at
the
outlets,
this
is
a
smaller
version.
It's
going
to
be
like
a
christmas
mozzarella
type
of
thing
and
we're
going
to
have
75
to
100
vendors,
hopefully
for
working
really
hard
for
that,
and
so
we're
working
with
reality.
So
it's
going
to
be
smaller
event,
it's
gear,
even
we're
telling
the
vendors
that
it's
a
christmas
themed.
D
D
B
Veronica
has
been
working
with
with
the
outlets
on
our
game,
everything
ready.
We
already
have
some
vendors
that
have
preferred
paid
everything,
so
we
hope
more
can
come
in
we're
really
hoping,
of
course,
things
like,
like
international
visitors
not
being
able
to
come
in
if
they
don't
have
vaccinations
that
might
affect
us
too.
So
we're
really
really
monitoring
everything
and
if
things
hopefully
get
better,
we
hope.
C
B
Yes,
we're
really
any
preference
of
saying
or.
F
E
D
B
B
B
H
B
I
would
say
even
for
the
mexican
desert,
that
would
be
a
drop
yeah,
so
if
that
would
be
that
perfect
start
right,
so
we're
hoping
for
it-
and
it's
gonna-
be
here-
it's
gonna,
be
here.
On
the
other
side,
it's
not
gonna
be
outside.
B
It's
gonna,
be
in
the
the
shops
that
don't
have
a
tenant
right
now,
so
we're
going
to
be
able
to
use
those
spaces
which
will
allow
for
it
to
be
indoors,
not
exposed
to
the
elements
and
so
we're
working
with
the
outlets
with
fire,
with
building
with
all
the
necessary
departments,
so
that
we
make
sure
it's
safe
and
it's
enjoyable
for
everybody.
B
And
also
it's
people
might
not
be
as
willing
to
come
if
it's
outside
and.
A
B
So
yeah
no
they're
great
they're
a
great
partner,
so
we
really
appreciate
their
assistance.
A
B
So
there's
there's
here:
you
have
the
social
media
report.
B
Our
market
team
has
been
working
really
hard
on
the
also
on
the
contract,
with
with
the
new
agency
on
changing,
as
I
mentioned
before,
before
reyna
and
the
mexican
agency
have
been
like
going
back
and
forth
like
every
hour
when
we
get
close
to
to
the
dates
where
the
potential
announcement
of
the
restrictions
being
used
happens
and
so
they're
working
really
hard.
B
I
want
to
give
them
kudos
to
everything
that
they're
doing,
especially
in
mexico,
where
we
don't
have
our
our
montana
visitor,
but
we
still
have
presence
there,
but
a
lot
of
the
efforts
have
been
moved
to
mexico
city.
So
in
the
budget
presentation
that
I
have,
I,
we
did
request
a
little
bit
more
money
this
year
this
upcoming
year,
because
we
want
to
be
ready
one
if
the
bridges
they
lift
the
restrictions,
but
two
we
need
to
take
into
consideration
two
things.
One
is
that
now
we
have
mexico
city
as
an
additional
market.
B
So
our
efforts,
we
cannot
lower
or
guard
anyone.
The
right
we
have
done
so
so
good,
so
well,
in
keeping
our
presence
in
that
market.
That
we
don't
want
to
lose
that
now
that
we
have
mexico
city,
we
don't
want
to
dilute
that,
and
so
what
we're
doing
is
asking
for
additional
funds
not
outside
of
our
budget.
This
is
just
we're
moving
our
budget
around
so
that
we
can
also
give
mexico
city
the
presence
that
they
need,
and
that's
such
a
big
market
that
that
can
bring
a
lot
of
people
to
us.
B
That's
one
thing
and
the
other
thing
is
in
the
us.
We
want
to
replicate
those
efforts
that
we've
been
doing
in
mexico
for
so
many
years.
We
want
to
replicate
because,
as
mr
castillo
said,
we
need
that
market.
We
cannot
depend
on
mexico
100
because
we
don't
know
currently
what's
going
to
happen,
so
we
want
to
make
sure
we
see
that
visitor
coming
in.
A
You
know
a
lot
of
people,
don't
understand
the
monorail,
but
they
don't
understand
it
and
they're
saying
why
is
the
city
losing
you
know
using
money
to
do
that
and
I
think
I
think
it's
just
part
of
they
don't
understand,
and
so
I
have
had.
D
D
B
We
can
we
can,
I
mean
we
can
do
a
presentation
on
what
we
we
do
with.
I
can
tell
you
budget
was,
we
haven't
increased
their
budget
in
probably
five
years,
yeah.
B
You're
doing
another
thing
and
I'm
gonna
kind
of
jump
to
the
report
on
page
16,
but
they
really
jumped
in
we
told
them
like
during
that
pandemic.
There's
not
a
lot
of
in-person
visits
that
you
can
do,
there's
not
a
lot
of
events
that
you
can
attend,
and
so
we
cast
them
with
creating
some
sort
of
activity,
something
that
keeps
their
connection
with
the
community
that
you
moved
away
and
all
of
mexico.
B
So
they
they
work
with
the
marketing
team
and
creating
the
zoom
that
facebook
live
so
every
other
week.
They
have
that
facebook
right
there
on
there
they're
answering
questions.
There.
They've
had
the
opportunity
to
come
to
a
couple
of
times
and
so
they've
gone
to
different
places.
They
get
footage
and
then
they
go
back
and
they
put
it
or
they
talk
about
those
topics
when
they
have
their
facebook
live,
so
they're
really
invested
in
that,
where
they
they're
doing
giveaways
and
all
that
with
the
support
of
our
marketing
team.
So.
B
That
they're
they
will
travel
to
mexico
city,
for
example.
One
thing
that
they
do
is
they
are,
and
it
saves
money
to
the
city
because
it's
more
expensive
for
us
to
go
to
every
event
in
mexico.
B
B
For
example,
anytime
we've
had
a
delegation
visit
mexico
somewhere
accompanies
us
because
he's
another
element
and
it's
less
expensive
for
us
to
take
him
than
to
take
anybody
else
because
they're
there
they
have,
they
have
their
finger
and
the
pulse
of
what's
going
on,
and
so
for
us,
it's
very
important
and
now
that
the
relationship
between
mongolian
and
the
right
is
getting
stronger,
it's
even
more
important
to
have
that
office.
There
that's.
B
And
the
process
doesn't
have
just
just
talking
about
branded
sculpture,
the
offices
for
other
communities
have
closed
and
that,
for
example,
we're
going
to
talk
about
our
our
closest
competitor,
which
is
mcdonald's.
We
have.
We
had
offices
in
front
of
each
other,
they
closed
their
office
and
they
went
virtual
and
then
they
even
closed
the
virtual
office
there,
and
so
that
came
up
in
the
paper.
Wow
the
the
editorials
came
up
and
said:
loretta
is
still
here.
Loreto
has
our
back.
Loretta's
is
still
has
an
abandoned
monterey
right.
B
A
Very
good
work
great
hard
work,
so
that
really
that
completes
all
of
our
activity.
Reports
for
our
meeting
today,
any
other
comments
before
we
go
into
our
discussion
and
announcements.
C
The
last
three
or
four
meetings
we
have
opened
with
a
prayer.
Now
they
tell
me
that,
because
it's
a
where
we
are
or
the
situation,
it's
a
moment
of
sadness
now
can
it
be
worked
out,
and
I
think
we
discussed
it
for
a
little
bit
before
the
meeting
to
check
with
the
city
secretary,
to
put
it
on
the
agenda,
to
put
it
on
the
agenda
after
call
to
order
and
even.
