Description
Convention & Visitors Bureau Advisory Committee Meeting, 05/05/2022
A
I'd
like
to
call
to
order
the
laredo
convention
and
visitors
bureau
advisory
committee
meeting
today
is
thursday
may
5th
2022.
C
Amen
and
reminder
that
today
is
a
day
of
prayer
for
that
all
over
the
in
french.
E
C
A
I'm
going
to
go
through,
we
do
have
one
excused
absence.
One
of
our
members
is
asking
for
excused
absence,
so
I
guess
we'll
vote
on
them
at
the
end.
But
magalie
rodriguez
is
the
one
asking
for
next
year.
Who
was.
C
A
A
E
I
just
want
to
go
on
record
to
say
that
the
the
interview
that
aileen
did
on
tv
was
very
well
received
and
I
think
it
was
an
eye-opener
for
a
lot
of
people.
So
I
really
appreciate
that.
I
think
that
needs
to
be
noted
that
that
the
way
that
she's
going
and
that
this
department
is
going
with
that
is
very
important,
and
I
think
people
like
that
they
I
mean
I
had
a
lot
of
a
lot
of
people.
E
A
G
We
had
a
pause
for
two
years
for
the
panda.
G
G
Year,
but
we
didn't
do
what
we
did.
We
actually
have
this
effort
that
we've
done
for
our
national
travel
and
tourism
week.
We
where
it's
award
winning
so
a
few
years
ago
we
won
two
awards
statewide
for
our
efforts
during
national
travel.
H
G
C
A
D
E
I
E
A
A
A
G
Thank
you
ma'am
chair.
We
are
even
though
it
might
not
seem
like
we
are
in
technically
at
the
end
of
our
fiscal
year,
and
so
we
have
been
reviewing
numbers,
we're
making
sure
that
we
close
our.
J
G
Way
and
we're
preparing
for
our
new
fiscal
year.
Where
do
you
submit
your
budget
for
the
next
march
and
march?
So
we
already
submitted
our
budget
based
on
the
efforts
we
have
made
some
changes.
We
think
we
were
very
strong
in
in
the
marketing
part
in
terms
of
the
budget,
and
now
we
are
getting
into
this.
This
new
cycle
with
zimmerman
this
environment
agency,
we're
very
happy
with
what
they're
doing,
and
so
we
want
to
continue.
G
They
were
actually
here
yesterday
last
night
at
the
event,
and
so
we
feel
very
strong
about
marketing,
but
we
also
want
to
strengthen
our
sales
element,
and
so
we
are
one
of
our
one
of
our
admin,
assistants,
retired
recently
in
massoto,
and
so
that
position
we,
we
will
reclassify
as
a
sales
person
and
so
we're
putting
also
a
little
bit
more
money
on
that
sales
part
for
the
upcoming
fiscal
year,
and
so
we
want
to
make
sure
that
we
are
strengthening
that
portion,
because
we
believe
that
that
it's
another
element
it's
another
arm
in
that
that
effort
very.
G
She
retired
after
20
years
with
the
cd
10
of
those
with
city
hall
and
the
other
10
with
us
at
cbd,
good.
So.
G
We
currently
don't
have
a
sales
person.
Sales
is
done.
We
kind
of
divide
ourselves
a
lot
of
obviously
sales
that
is
for
mexico.
Obviously,
somewhere
is
our
sales
representative
in
mexico,
but
in
the
us
we
don't
have
a
sales
representative
and
so
hoel.
You
don't
see
here
today
because
he's
doing
sales
he's
he's
doing
sports
sales.
This
week
selena
we
brought
selena
in
she's
our
marketing
mentor,
but
also
awards
that
had
some
types
of
convention
and
association
sales.
I
do
the
same
thing
so.
G
Exactly
so,
we
we
want
to
make
sure
that
we
have
somebody
dedicated
to
science
that
can
basically
spend
their
whole
time
traveling
visiting
with
potential
clients,
especially
now
that
we're
going
to
have
the
sports
complex,
the
new
soccer
conflict,
the
natatorium
sports,
is
going
to
be
key
for
us
and
we
need
a
person
dedicated
to
that
sure.
B
G
It's
all
traveling,
it's
all
travel,
and
so
we
right
now
we're
doing
single
person.
K
D
K
G
G
Yeah,
so
we
have,
we
have
to
our
two
main
markets
and-
and
we
believe
that
where
we
need
the
most
is
sports,
and
so
that
person
would
usually
focus
on
sports,
tournaments
directors,
okay,
athletic
directors,
starting
with
our
own
local
athletic
directors.
Mr.
G
G
And
so
you
have
them
and
you
can
meet
with
them
and
show
them
everything
that
loreto
has
to
offer.
Now,
we've
done
this
in
the
past.
What
we're
lacking
is
that
person
that
that
goes
and
follows
up
with.
G
G
Yeah
so
potentially
this
person
so
in.
If,
if
I
can
share
my
vision
for
the
future,
we
need
at
least
three
people
for
sales.
We
need
at
least
one
person
dedicated
for
convention
sales,
which
right
now
celina
and
I
were
kind
of
sharing.
G
We
need
one
person
at
least,
and
at
least
a
couple
of
people
dedicated
to
sports
and
smurf,
which
is
the
others
religious,
familiar
all
the
others.
And
so
yes,
in
my
mind,
in
a
few
years.
Hopefully
we
could
grow
this
into
and
we
build
the
office
for
them.
B
E
Know
and
the
thing
that
laredo
has
to
offer
the
the
artifacts.
You
know
that
we
get
from
mexico
that
you
can.
You
can
buy
here.
That
is
very
important
because
everybody
in
houston
in
austin
and
san
antonio,
in
a
lot
of
places
dallas
I
was
just
in
dallas
and
I'm
telling
you
they
are
the
old
laredo.
Oh,
do
you
all
have
quincy
cake?
It's
like
you
know,
so
I
refer.
E
G
We
have
a
lot
to
offer
and
so
again
having
the
sports
complex,
coming
up
having
the
natatorium
having
the
new
soccer
complex
coming
up,
we
need
somebody
that
can
take
that
that
information
and
put
it
in
front
of
every
sports
tournament
director
and
every
convention.
F
G
The
the
the
seat,
the
code
enforcement
association
of
texas,
we
hosted
them
recently
and.
D
Here,
that's
what
I
was
thinking,
because
I
know
I've
been
invited
to
the
forum
to
the
south,
texas,
county
judges
and
commissioners
conference.
It's
going
to
be
in
court
with
this
in
june
and
I'm
past
president.
So
we
have
a
past
president's
luncheon.
B
D
There's
they're
already
preparing
for
that
not
next
year
for
the
following
year
for
the
state
con
for
their
stake.
Well:
the
regional
convention,
because
it's
south
texas,
which
encompasses
about
75
counties.
So
if
you
multiply
that
by
five,
that's
how
many
you
know,
plus
the
other
departments
that
they
bring
so
yeah,
I
mean.
F
E
When
I,
I
asked
the
farm
credit
bank
of
texas
to
come
and
have
their
annual
meeting
here,
and
there
are
about
400
people
that
show
up,
but
I
was
thinking
and
and
then
the
the
ceo
asked
me
at
the
time
and
what
are
we
going
to
see
because
when
they
go
and
have
an
annual
meeting,
they
will
go
to
a
particular
farm
or
ranch
and
see
the
operations
there
of
how
they
pick
the
grapes
or
how
they
pick
whatever,
and
I
said
well,
what
you're
going
to
see
here
is
how
everything
passes.
G
Actually,
we
have
a
specific
offering
that
we
do
for
mexico
and
someone
selena
have
worked
on
that
they
offer
logistics
tours
for
companies.
G
G
K
E
E
In
fact
they
were
so
amazed
at
all
the
things
that
I
did
when
I
was
on
the
board,
because
I
retired
in
19
2019,
because
it
was
12
years
of
a
lot
of
traveling
anyway,
they
were
so
impressed
with
everything
I
did
because
I
in
I
I
I
really
worked
on
diversity
and
inclusion
and
we
had
every
time
I
went
to
a
meeting
when
I
first
started.
E
The
whole
area
was
all
men
and
me
so
I
started
working
on
it
and
now
I
walk
in
and
there's
a
lot
of
women
there's
a
lot
of
colored
people.
You
know
there's
all
kinds
so
anyway,
so
they
got
all
kinds
of
awards
so
because
of
that
and
they
knew
it
was
related
to
me-
I
got
what
they
call
an
honors
at
the
academy
of
honors
at
their
santa
fe
meeting,
because
they
represent
five
states
so
anyway.
E
E
I
know
I
was
very
excited
so
now.
The
next
thing
I
want
to
do
is
bring
that
that
whole
peep-
all
those
people
here,
because
they're
very
educated
farmers,
large
large-
I
mean
they
make
you
know
millions
of
dollars
every
year.
These
are
big
farmers.
D
B
D
Self-Sufficient
or
at
least
try
to
get
there
because
there's
a
lot
of
subsidies
that
are
going
to
a
lot
of
these
foreign
countries.
You
know
to
be
able
to
buy
the
grains
and
the
corn,
and
all
of
that,
so
I
think
that
we
need
to
be
able
to
you
know
to
encourage
people
that
have
land.
I
mean
there's
a
lot
of
you
know,
and
I
understand
the
issue
of
water
and
all
of
that
because
I
mean
they
go
hand
in
hand,
but
there's
got
to
be
some
way
somehow
to
to
do
it.
C
States
heb
does
a
hell
of
a
job,
oh
yeah,
a
hell
of
a
job.
With
that
I
mean
they're,
one
of
the.
What
are
the
best
yeah.
B
E
C
C
E
C
E
The
idea
behind
the
future
of
farming
and
ranching
is
to
produce
more
food
in
less
land
with
less
water,
so
technology
is
what
they're
looking
at.
We
are
the
number
one
food
producers
in
the
united
in
the
world,
but
next
to
us
is
a
tiny
little
country
of
netherlands,
oh
my
god,
because
they
have
very
little
land,
but
they
have
used
technology
and
they
do
rooftop
farming
and
ranching
and
all
kinds
of
things.
So.
D
E
Here
see
I
mean
we
have
large
ranches
with
a
lot
of
cattle.
There
were
some
instructors
that
went
to
our
little
ranch
that
we
have
and
from
tamiyu,
and
they
were
like
looking
like
this
at
the
cows.
Is
that
a
male
or
a
female
they
didn't
know
because
they
had
never
seen
a
real
cow
or
a
real
bull.
E
G
I'm
sorry
any
way
we
can
help
any
way
we
can
help.
Let
us
know
we
have
already
the
the
tour
set
up,
I'm
glad
it's
just
they're
one
phone
call
away
so
we're
happy
and
if
you
have
any
conference
that
you
participate,
that
you
might
be
interested
in
bringing
let
us
know
and
we
can
go
and
make
a
presentation.
D
D
A
great
idea,
a
lot
of
co-ops.
You
know
because
I
remember
when
I
was
on
the
commissioner's
court
and
there
were
there
were
a
lot
of
polonius
without
water,
so
you
know
they
had
land.
So
the
idea
to
bring
the
water
was
to
be
able
to
see
if
they
could
cultivate
and
be
able
to
get
it.
You
know
to
to
do
the
co-ops.
You
know
with
the
with
the
hebs
or
with
the
state,
and
the
state
would
take
care
of
the
marketing,
and
I
mean
that,
and
that
still
can
happen.
C
D
E
E
E
The
contract
with
with.
B
H
H
B
G
A
Okay,
okay,
so
everything
is
no
other
questions,
if
not
we're
going
to
move
on
to
the
april
activity
report
within
with
eileen's
reports,.
G
We
want
to
change
a
little
bit
the
way
that
we
present
our
reports,
starting
with
this
meeting,
and
so
you
have
the
regular
reports.
But
I
want
to
I
want
to
point
the
attention
to
our
strategic
plan
and.
J
G
This
document,
under
your
your
agenda,
and
so
we
we
want
to
talk
to
you
a
little
bit
more
about.
G
As
cbd,
what
what
we
think
are
our
objectives-
and
I
had
talked
about
this
a
little
bit
during
our
last
meeting-
but
this
is
this-
is
the
actual
document.
This
is
something
that
we
presented
to
our
city
management
recently
and
we
want
to
share
it
with
you,
and
so
it's
our
strategic
plan
for
2223.
G
This
is
something
this
is
a
document
that
will
be
a
working
document.
It
will
be
revised
throughout
the
years
to
make
sure
that
we're
still
on
the
right
track,
but
we
we,
we
included
some
of
our
key
objectives
and
so
everything
that
we
do
everything
that
we
present
from
now
on
to
you
is
going
to
be
related
to
these
subject,
objectives
to
make
sure
that
we're
going
in
the
right
direction
that
we're
not
getting
sidetracked
by
any
other
situation.
That's
going
on.
G
We
want
to
make
sure
that
this
is
our
our
key
focus
and
so
on
the
first
page,
as
you
can
see
well
just
wanna.
Our
mission
statement
is
to
promote
loreto
as
a
travel
destination,
influencing
travel
decisions
at
a
state,
national
and
international
levels,
as
well
as
augmenting
awareness
to
enhance
loreto
image,
and
so
that's
that's
what
we
have
in
mind.
That's
what
we
want
to
do,
and
I
just
want
to
mention
the
quote
there.
G
Tourism
is
an
economic
activity
that
provides
local
destinations,
states,
provinces
and
countries
with
new
sources
of
income
and
currency
exchange.
So
we
see
tourism
as
an
economic
driver.
Also,
we
are
working
hand-in-hand
with
our
economic
development,
division
or
department
here
in
the
city,
and
so
that's
also
what
we
see
we
see
we
want
to
bring
people
to
laredo,
as
an
economic
driver
did.
G
And
so
some
of
our
key
well,
our
key
objectives
are
to
increase
visitor
demand.
We
want
to
strengthen
our
visitor
experience.
We
want
to
be
the
destination
leadership,
the
go-to
for
the
destination,
and
we
want
to
also
work
on
destination
development
which
we
have
done,
but
it
was
it's
it's
very
like
it's.
It's
an
after
almost
an
afterthought,
or
we
didn't
think
it
was
part
of
our
key
objective
objectives.
B
G
Also
help
develop
the
destination,
creating
attractions,
creating
events
like
sister
cities.
So
that's
that's
one
of
the
things
so
under
each
objective,
you're
gonna
see
our
strategies.
How
are
we
gonna
do
this?
How
are
we
gonna
implement
this
and
so,
for
example,
increasing
visitor
demand
by
destiny,
increasing
destination
awareness?
G
A
lot
of
people
ask
us
like:
why
do
you
bring
influencers?
Why
do
you
bring
and
this
destination
awareness
is
people
knowing
what
is
there
to
do?
How
can
I
experience
a
destination
if
I've
never
been
there?
Who
can
tell
me
other
than
us?
Who
can
tell
me-
and
it's
word
of
mouth
yeah
for
years,
we've
known
this
as
word
of
mouth
now,
word
of
mouth
has
it's
on
steroids.
G
G
D
E
So
how
did
how
did
management
receive
this?
They.
G
Were
very
receptive,
they
liked
it.
They
were,
they
were.
We
were
one
of
the
first
ones
to
to
go
in
and
sit
with
the
new
city
manager
and
present
this,
and
so
he
was
very.
B
D
Fantastic
because
you
know
I
always
I
always
look
at
strategic
plans
and
then
you
have
you
know
you.
You
have
all
of
these
wonderful
plans,
you
know
and,
and
you
know
whatever
destination
of
whatever
it
is,
that
you're
doing,
but
there
needs
to
be
follow-up.
I
always
say
give
me
the
follow-up.
I
mean
what
happened,
what
happened
yeah?
What
happened
to
this
because.
G
E
D
G
This
we're
gonna
have
one
I
like
it.
The
other
thing
that
I
want
is
sometimes
I
believe
this
and
this
might
be
on
me,
but
I
feel
like
we
give
you
a
report,
but
how
does
this
relate
to
our
children?
How
does
how
does
this
relate
to
to
our
objectives
to
our
to
our
goals,
and
so
we
want
to
make
sure
that
what
we
give
you
here
makes
sense
with
this
everything.
D
E
J
G
G
F
A
H
G
We
will
share
it
with
something
that
we
haven't
had
in
a
long
time
is
a
meeting
with
all
of
our
tourism
partners,
a
type
of
state
of
the
industry,
and
so
we
want
to.
We
want
to
do
that
pretty
soon,
but.
G
We
have
so
we
have
our
organizations
where
we
intersect
right.
So
we
have
organizations
like
main
street
and
chamber
of
commerce
and
ledc
those
organizations.
G
We
we
we
work
together
with
them
in
efforts,
for
example,
chamber
of
commerce
traveled
with
us
to
mexico
last
year
to
promote
businesses
and
the
efforts
that
they're
doing
to
bring
shopping
back,
and
so
we
do.
We
do
work
together
with
them
they're
part
of
the
stakeholders,
I
would
say,
but
yeah,
our
our
our
main,
the
ones
that
we
service
we
partner
with
those
but
the
ones
that
we
service
are
our
attractions.
Our
restaurants
are
hoteliers.
C
They
have
a
new
director
over
there.
We
should
bring
you
that
you,
I
don't
know
her.
J
G
Before
my
time
but
yeah
she
used
to
work
for
the
cbb,
so
we
we
know
her
well
she's
been
from
day
one.
I
think
we
were
one
of
her
first
meetings
when
she
started.
G
B
G
The
report
is
going
to
change
a
little
bit
based
on
this
and
we
are
open
to
any
feedback
if
at
any
point,
you
think
well
we're
missing
some
information
or
we
want
to
see
some
of
the
old
information
back
we're
open
to
that
we're
trying
to
change
the
report
in
a
way,
that's
friendlier,
that's
more
useful
and
that
it's
better.
E
Well
and
it's
more
meaningful,
like
all
the
effort
that
was
put,
because
I
would
read
this
and
I
I
know
because
I
know
uh-huh,
you
know
the
effort
to
get
to
this
page,
but
I
think,
having
a
plan
is
it
and
and-
and
you
know
coordinating
is-
is
more
telling
for
everybody.
Yes,
especially
if
you
don't
really
know
you
know.
E
A
Important
welcome
to
change
and
everybody's.
I
think
very
positive
on
that.
Thank
thank
you
any
other
questions.
If
not,
we
move
on
to
the
assistant
director's
report,
which
I
know
mr
vasquez
is
not
with
us
right
now,
but
it's
on
page
seven.
It's
on.
G
Page
of
it
and
I'll
point
you
to
to
the
rest
of
the
reports
what
I
would
like,
if
I
may,
I
would
like
to
move
to
the
the
other
report,
which
is
absolutely
semana
santa
press
conferences,
and
we
have
somewhere
here
reyna
that
were
all
three
of
them
instrumental
in
putting
together
this
effort.
B
G
B
G
H
H
From
the
media
coverage
for
the
press
conference,
the
press
conference
in
mexico
city
and
the
press
conference
moderate,
but
also
we
have
a
whole
campaign
for
semana
santa,
so
we
have
billboards,
we
have
ads,
so
we
have
another
digital.
We
have
tons
and
tons
of
materials,
but
this
is
the
first
part
and
the
semana
santa
campaign
just
finished
last
week.
So
we
have
more.
E
H
J
Too,
there
were
live
interviews
that
reina
and
hoel
were
able
to
do
on
site
while
they
were
over
there
on
radio
on
television,
so
it
just
gave
laredo
great
exposure
and
of
course
it
reinforces
the
presence
that
we
have
in
monterrey
with
having
a
satellite
office
there.
So
that's
also
just
a
wonderful
partnership
and
a
commitment
that
the
monterey
market
sees
with
laredo.
You
know
we
we've
never
left
them,
we've
always
been
there
and
you
know
in
turn.
J
They
always
just
support
us
really
well,
when
it
comes
to
making
sure
that
our
events
are
attended
by
media,
we
invite
influencers
that
have
done
business
with
us
before
and
potential
influencers
that
have
already.
You
know,
earmarked
radios
like
wait
a
minute
like
how
can
I
get
involved?
How
can
I
you
know,
jump
on
board
with
you
guys?
You
know
I've.
B
B
J
So
it's
just
a
wonderful
opportunity
and
it's
something
that
we
want
to
go
ahead
and
keep
on.
You
know
with
samana
santa
at
the
beginning
of
the
year
and
then
compress
navidenos
towards
the
end
of
the
year
as
well,
and
like
rina
mentioned,
this
is
only
the
report
that
shows
you
the
findings
from
the
the
press,
conferences
that
took
place
and
upcoming
on,
hopefully
by
our
next
meeting,
we
will
have
the
statistics
on
the
traditional
advertising
efforts
that
were
placed.
H
A
million
times
and
in
this
location
we
travel
to
mexico
city
with
the
airport
director
assist
interim
director
and
the
operation
director
manager,
so
we
travel
with
them
and
they
speak
in
spanish
too.
So
we
have
this
very
well
attended
conference
in
mexico
city.
That's
very
difficult
because
that's
a
big
market,
but
we
invite
all
this.
H
Yeah
and
the
name
this
campaign
is
live
laredo,
so
that's
the
reason
that
we
invite
our
previous
influencers
that
give
it
the
experience
that
they
have
in
laredo.
So
that's
very,
very
well
attended.
We
have
sunny.
We
have
at
this
influence
in
mexico
city
that
he
had
a
travel
agency
too.
So
he
said
that
you
need
to
come
to
naredo,
that's
a
beautiful
place.
You
have
that's
something
different
another
place
in
the.
J
B
H
A
H
Also,
I
don't
have
a
very
special
place
in
mexico,
so
you
don't
know
you
don't
need
to
wait
in
the
plane
to
get
out
the
facilities
in
mexico
city
because.
G
In
the
lounge
for
your
plane,
they
have
food
there.
My
husband's
like
can
I
take
like.
Can
I
any
drink?
I
was.
J
E
G
So
more
to
come
with
the
full
report
on
the
campaign
as
we
mentioned,
but
this
is
this
is
a
portion
of
it
with
the
the
press
conferences.
Thank.
A
G
H
J
B
J
K
E
G
One
thing
that
I
want
to
bring
up
is
something
that
we're
we're
very
sad,
we're
happy
for
her,
but
we're
very
sad
because
we're
well
losing
a
staff
member
ms
velo
is
moving
on
to
a
different
department
in
the
city
and
so
we're
we.
We
want
to
thank
her
for
her
service
to
her
our
cvb
for
10
years,
10
plus
years.
G
She's
done
a
great
job
in
preparing
everything
and
leaving
everything
ready
ready
for
for
the
event,
and
so
we
will
we
will
march
on
with,
with.
C
C
No
he's
just
like
a
good
fish
friend
of
mine.
He
says
oh
yeah,
father,
my
horse
just
died.
Can
you
come
and
give
him
the
last
rights
and
he
told
the
guy
the
horses
don't
have
soul.
Then
we
can't
give
him
less
rights
and
he
pulled
out
a
hundred
dollar
bill.
He
says,
oh
normally,
you
didn't
tell
me
that
the
horse
was
catholic.
L
A
I
G
Will
yes,
we
will
make
we,
we
barely
have
we're
processing
the
the
announcement,
but
yes
we
will.
We
will
replace
that
position
as
soon
as
possible.
L
I
think
I
mean
it's
it's
just
the
heart,
it
has
to
be
there
with
the
heart
and
I
I
will
miss
a
lot
of
my
projects.
Sister
city
is
one
that's
in
my
heart
and
but
I
know
that
everybody
and
anybody
at
the
staff
is
capable
of
doing
this.
The
experience
is
there
and
the
willingness
of
of
of
doing
the
hospitality
is
in
our
hearts.
So
I
know
that
we
would
do
great.
We
have
a
great
team.
G
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you
for
for
everything
that
you
have
done,
video
it's
it's.
It's
been
great
working
with
you
for,
for
almost
a
little
bit
more
than
a
decade,
yeah.
A
Okay,
well
moving
on
there's.
Basically,
our
next
meeting
is
scheduled
for
june
2nd,
and
do
we
need
to
bring
anything
else
in
the
announcements
to
our
meeting
today?
I'd
like.
A
K
B
K
K
E
K
K
And
are
really
eager
to
come
back
to
laredo,
to
do
shopping
and
to
come
back
to
you
know
the
the
the
activities
they
they
had
before
before
that
they
make
a
study,
so
we're
very
happy
excellent
and
myself
that
we
are
going
to
be
able
once
again
to
be.
In
this
event,
not
we
will
continue
to
do
our
facebook
live
streams,
as
you
can
see
on
page
16,
we
continue
with
that.
We
haven't
get
to
the
point
to
be
invited
by
cnn.
You
know.
K
Get
there
so,
I
think
we're
gonna
have
both
the
streams
with
virtually
to
promote
laredo,
but
we're
very
happy
to
once
again
be
able
to
be
in
in
physical
events.
B
E
E
The
people
are
vaccinated
right,
yeah
yeah,
because
you
know
I
was
on
different
planes
and
the
only
people
wearing
masks
were
people
from
mexico.
Okay,
because.
K
We're
trying
once
every
time
we
come
here
to
laredo,
we
try
to
visit
different
departments
meet
with
hotels.
K
F
K
E
K
E
E
H
Yes-
and
they
have
a
lot
of
fans
in
facebook,
yeah
they're
regular,
they
show
they
see
the
facebook
lives,
so
we
they
try
to
continue
with
the
facebook
guy
for
a
long
time.
E
G
You
and-
and
we
we
really
appreciate-
and
this
this
week
is
the
week
that
we
it's
the
excuse,
but
we
want
to
thank
you
all
for
everything
that
you
do
for
the
support
that
you
give
us
is
really
we
really
appreciate
it.
As
ms
judy
mentioned,
we
always
have
quorum
and
that's
not
something
that
every
community.
G
Appreciative
of
that,
thank
you
for
for
showing
that
interest
in
in
our
in
our
department
and
as
I
mentioned
during
this
week,
we
want
to
thank
all
of
our
partners
and
we
consider
you
our
stakeholders,
our
partners,
and
so
we
want
to
thank
you,
and
we
want
to
highlight
also
the
work
that
everybody
in
our
industry
does,
because,
especially
after
these
last
two
years,
it's
been
it's
been
hard,
and
so
we
want
to
thank
everybody,
our
hotels,
our
attractions,
all
the
stakeholders
for
everything
that
you've
done
during
this
last
two
years.
G
E
G
B
G
And
that
that
was
an
event
that
was
it's
a
our
little.
Thank
you
to
the
industry.
It's
an
event,
as
I
mentioned
it,
wasn't
anything
formal
it
wasn't,
it
doesn't
have
an
agenda.
We
just
want
the
industry
and
our
partners
to
have
a
good
time.
G
G
Everybody
to
have
those
few
hours
of
relaxation
and
just
have
a
good
time,
and
so
thank
you.
We
appreciate
it.
E
G
If
you
don't
know
the
rest
of
the
week,
we
have
extended
hours
at
our
shop,
and
so
we
open
until
seven
today
and
tomorrow
and
saturday
we'll
we're
going
to
be
open
11
to
4.
wow.
G
A
couple
of
live
remotes
from
the
shop.
L
B
E
That's
great
and
when,
where
do
you
buy
your
products.
C
G
The
relationship
we
have
some
products,
so
we
have
mexican
ceramics.
We
have
all
the
way
from
the
state
of
mexico,
so
we
have
plates
and
bowls
with
the
locals
and.
G
They're
made
in
in
mexico,
we
do
have
other
products
that
are
mass-produced,
so
we
have
a
little
bit
of.
I
F
G
Yeah,
so
we
do
have
some
products
that
are
sourced
from
from.
J
G
Have
desk
sets
and
and
plates
and
bowls
and
that
come
directly
from
from
our
mexican
vendors
well.
I
G
Yes,
yes,
and
we
had,
we
had
some
especially
this
week.
We
had
a
lot
of
people
calling
to
ask
about
the
shop,
and
so
that's
a
really
good
idea.
Yeah,
that's
something
you
can
do.
C
And
again,
I
think
I've
mentioned
it
before
put
together
a
gift
basket
and
give
it
to
the
the
parishes
are
now
going
back
to
having
hamikas.
So
they
can
give
that
ham.
Give
that
basket
at
the
hamaika
donated
by
the
convention
and
visitors
bureau.
Another
good
way
to
promote
convention
and
visitors,
bureau
and.
B
C
And
we
need
more
to
talk
to
the
taco
lotus
and
pull
their
ear,
get
the
taco
for
what
do
you
call
it
jerseys
and
and
stuff
like
that,
and
also
I.
G
Every
time
they
go
anywhere
to
play,
they
have
the
lorena
texas
logo.
That's.
E
C
C
G
But
yeah,
no,
we
we
we're,
really
excited
and
we're
open
to
partnerships
with
with
the
laredo
heat
partnership
is
something
new
that
we
we
started
talking
to
them
about
it
and
we're
like
hey.
You
go
out
there
and
you
you
promote
the.
G
G
C
You
know
I
haven't
been
downtown
in
a
while,
because
you
know
you're
meeting
and
those
crazy
sidewalks
they're
all
uneven
and-
and
you
get
a
guy
like
me,
with
a
with
a
stroller
check
out
your
camp
and
clean
the
downtown
area.
C
C
They
should
try
to
keep
up.
I
know
it,
but
that's
the
key,
that's
the
key.
I
know
it
but
but
sometimes
I
think
they
don't
do
enough
enough
every
every
you
know
I
mean
you
know
be
like
the
restaurants
or
some
of
the
every
hour.
You
go
check.
