So
we
have
a
form:
okay,
we
don't
have
any
minutes
from
last
time.
So
we'll
go
straight
to
the
discussion
and
this
pushes
on
possible
action
on
the
status
of
interviews
held
on
June,
17th
and
18th,
or
V
Connor
development,
director
position
and
providing
a
recommendation
to
city
management
and
any
matters
incidental
thereto,
I
believe
Human
Resources
has
a
tally
of.

F
G
You
know
in
respect
to
what
they're
charged
it
was.
That's
gonna
be
obviously
taken
into
consideration,
but
ultimately
to
we're
charged
with
hiring.
We
haven't
even
sat
across
the
table
from
it
again
it's
personally,
so
we
wouldn't
be
able
to
do
that.
Lightning,
but
again.
Rest
assured
that
we're
gonna
be
taking
square
sheets
and
all
the
work
that
you've
done,
I
mean
and
in
with
everything
else
too.
F
I,
don't
think
that's
the
case.
We're
at
a
point
I'm
trying
to
make.
Is
that
mm-hmm
it
would
it
just
would
if
I
was
an
applicant
and
then
I
I
met
again
with
individuals,
I
would
understand
regarding
okay.
Well,
this
is
a
position.
This
is
what
your
expectations
are
as
Matt,
but
if
we're
going
to
ask
again
all
these
questions
again,
will
you
know
what's
your
education?
What's
your
work
at
sparetime,
then
it's
like
I,
just
told
my
previous.
I
A
A
H
G
G
By
okay
right-
and
so
we
answer
to
the
council,
you
know
directly
and
then
will
answer
as
well,
and
so
yeah
they're
not
gonna,
be
asked
to
leave
you
the
same
questions
they're
going
to
be
tailored
more
to
us
and
how
they
see
themselves
working
within
our
team.
More
relative
stuff
like
that,
because
you
all
have
gone
over
the
experience
and
all
that,
and
we
trust
that
that's
already
been
checked
up,
because
that
was
a
charge
of
of
the
committee
and
its
really
serving
up
these.
These
top
two
top
three.
E
E
A
C
H
J
Me
I
have
two
will
make
myself
in
terms
of
comment
for
his
male
caller,
because
I
was
not
present
at
the
time
when
he
was
interviewed,
but
I
was
president
for
executive
se
and
again
I
think
that
his
understanding
of
a
border
town
needs
and
and
and
the
experience
he
has
the
diverse
experience
that
he's
bringing
is
definitely
something
that
I
do
educate
a
lot
cool.
We
do
need
a
lot
of
transferable
skills
from
our
perspectives.
J
It
comes
from
the
political,
another
political
but
understands
politics,
and
then
the
importance
of
building
those
relationships
understands
economic
development
understands
how
to
connect
beyond
the
transportation
means
is
were
Dallas.
Are
we
headed,
and
so
that's
what
he
was
telling
one
of
my
top.
H
But
after
those
interviews
you
know
I
go
into
more
of
information
about
each
of
them
individually.
I
think
the
difference
between
the
candidates
is,
we
have
that
flow,
which
seems
very
kind
of
like,
was
raised
in
a
comfortable
and
learning
on
the
job
and
has
gained
a
lot
of
experience
in
that,
and
at
least
my
head,
which
had
a
little
less
experience.
H
But
what
really
stood
out
to
me
on
these
mad
is
reading
this
professional
biography
and
seeing
what
he
focused
on,
which
is
endogenous
growth.
Theory
in
his
studies
and
he
kind
of
made
a
statement
during
the
interview
process.
That
I
think
grew
out
of
this,
and
you
made
a
statement
saying
economic
development.
Is
it
you
know
necessarily
bringing
companies
through
facility,
possibly,
but
it's
it's
creating
it
from
its
core,
and
so
this
theory
that
he
studied
has
to
do
with
basically
creating
economic
development
by
by
targeting
quality
of
life
and
education.
H
Everything
and
growing
it
out
of
the
community
which,
which
you
know
I,
constantly
see
that
statistic
that
we
have
a
lot
of
single
mothers
that
you
know
aren't
generating
enough
income
was
a
thirty.
Two
percent
of
our
population
is
in
poverty
and
I.
Think
a
lot
of
that
falls
on
the
fact
that
you
know,
and
and
in
other
cities
too,
that
economic
development
hasn't
really
been
focusing
on.
H
So
so
to
me
he
was
the
one
that
that
just
eats
out
slightly
more
and
that's
and
I
feel
like,
especially
since
we
are
a
very
strong
trade
community
and
one
of
the
things
that
I
think
is
really
needed
is
a
diversification
of
our
economy.
Our
local
economy,
right
and
I
feel
that
that
he
may
have
the
tools
to
end
and
have
that
perspective
to
provide
that
that
change.
That
I.
E
E
A
A
It's
sort
of
warm
it
Valley,
so
there's
a
location
they
are,
of
course
it
could
have
gone
far
could
have
got
another
Alamo
cleared
on
Weslaco
further
down,
but
he
also
didn't
expand
on
any
other
in
the
other
econ
of
development
successes
that
he
had
I
think
mr.
Garcia
that
go
out
see
he
did
expand.
He's
been
in
several
economic
development.
A
He's
worked
in
several
different
areas
too
different
different
entities
and
I
just
believe
you
can
hit
the
ground
running
he's
a
little
bit
older
I.
Think
that's
a
good
feel
for
the
master
plan
has
a
very
good
feel
for
for
for
how
we
work
here
on
the
border,
so
I
would
go
with
him.
I
think
the
third
one
mr.
David
month
meant
I
think
was
also
good.
I
think
he
could
you.
A
I
F
F
F
I'm
with
the
top
three
I
think
I
think
mr.
David
Mullen
was
very
impressive.
He
seemed
to
be
very,
very
well
rounded,
regarding
international
affairs,
international
business,
very
articulate
I
believe
that
he
would
be
a
great
presentation
for
burrito.
Mr.
el
Gotham,
you
know
very
educated
in
the
field
of
business.
F
I
believe
that
at
times,
I
just
think
that
the
educational
perspective
may
not
be
s/he,
may
not
have
the
economic
development
perspective
as
best
as
he
has
his
educational
knowings
of
economic
development
and
business,
but
he
really
had
that
great
accomplishment
we're
inside
upon
and
I
think
that
that's
come
at
the
boardwalk,
but
at
the
end
of
the
day
you
know
mr.
dick
Boak,
our
CEO
to
me
is
the
individual
for
this
position.
I
feel
that
he
has
a
vast
background
in
economic
development
in
business
in
Community
Relations
public
affairs.
F
C
C
G
J
Some
of
it,
some
of
the
concepts
and
theory
behind
having
a
staff
member
who
excels
and
understands
cross-training
multi-divisional
dimensionals
needs
is
someone
who
has
been
exposed
to
multiple
professions,
and
so,
if
you
want
to
think
about
economic
development-
and
that's
all
you've
done,
but
you
haven't
really
been
in
the
practice
and
they've
all
you've
done.
That's
a
higher
end.
I
know:
hi
right,
I,
know
real
estate,
I,
know,
taxation,
I,
know
section
8,
housing.
J
Have
those
transferable
skill
sets
that
now
you
sit
in
front
of
a
student
and
think,
and
you
sue
a
professor
and
understand
the
concept
of
bringing
all
these
leads
and
resources
together,
and
this
is
where
we
continue
to
talk
about
Community
Development,
which
now
is
more
and
more
guaranteed
community
engagement.
You
need
all
these
different
skill
sets
because
of
who
you're
dealing
with
in
the
future
and
what
you're
going
to
be
exposed
to
us.
J
A
H
I
H
That
there's
an
individual,
that's
taught
and
in
multiple
areas
we
need
more
fresh
out
of
university
versus
someone.
That's
kind
of
learned
on
the
job
is:
what
were
the
tools
that
the
person
that
learned
on
the
job
had
because
compared
to
other
cities,
I'm,
not
sure
where
that
quote?
Does
anyone
know
this
fact
do
they
have
like
a
for
a
for
B
tax
there?
H
F
H
You
know
it
would
be
great
to
have
worry
or
be
tax,
but
so
my
concern
is
is:
is
someone
nimble
enough
to
to
think
of
creative
ways
in
in
a
city
that
may
never
have
a
for
a
for
B
tax
and
to
the
the
state
of
Texas
recently
passed
the
state
tax
reform
bill?
I?
Don't
remember
the
exact
bill
number,
but
it's
gonna
limit
how
much
tax
revenue
cities
can
generate
from
real
estate
and
how
much
they
can
increment
it
year-over-year.
So
how
does
that
affect
the
budget
when
it
comes
to
development?
H
So
knowing
those
things
that
that
is
kind
of?
Why
that?
Well,
that's
the
predominant
reason
why
I
inch
the
other
direction,
because,
like
I
said
I,
do
think
that
goes
qualify.
My
concern
is:
are
the
rules
going
to
apply
in
the
city
if
you
used
to
have
in
other
cities?
Cities
worked,
so
so
that's
why
I'm
still
in
these
are
there's
no
question
about
qualifications
and
that
it's
just
kind
of
do.
We
need
someone
more
creative
that
can
work,
do
more
with
less
possibly
and
that's
why
I'm.
F
The
opposite
from
Belgium
engines
to
comment
on
that
is
that
this
individual
would
have
that
experience
also
coming
in
to
making
a
44b
work,
but
I
understand
what
you're
saying
like
how
is
that
gonna
fit
in
with
the
city
of
the
riddle?
You
know
that
would
that's
her
concern
right
pretty
much.
What
is
he
bringing
in
his
experience
in
working
with
4040?
Is
that
when
you
know.
A
A
C
A
I
J
I
I
E
E
H
J
H
E
J
Get
sick.
We
may
have
the
public
relations
that,
but
right
now,
I
need
some
of
the
economic
development
data
analysis
and
can
get
me
to
sell
this
part
because
I
have
the
relationships
that
I
need
all
I
need.
Is
this
other
component
that
I'm
lacking
in
my
team
and
that's
how
you
make
an
eighteen?
What.
J
F
I
A
A
C
J
K
A
K
I
A
I
G
I
E
I
J
F
F
D
D
D
For
me,
I
really
take
into
consideration,
jump,
fit
motivation.
What
motivates
someone
to
want
this
position,
and
so
I
can
tell
you
based
off
of
the
answers
and
what
I
heard
all
of
them
say.
Mr.
Garcia
is
more
about.
He
will
tell
you
exactly
what
you
want
to
know
and
what
he
believes
you
need
to
hear
in
that
moment.
So
he's
very
well-versed
he's
agile.
He
can
admire.
I
G
D
G
D
The
third
person
really
is
mr.
Bachmann,
because
I
mean
I
know.
We
discussed
him
for
him
that
the
idea
is
to
kind
of
progress
in
Excel,
and
so
he's
really
thinking
about
he's,
not
thinking
the
next
five
years.
He's
thinking
the
next
30
50
years
and
he
wants
to
be
a
part
of
what
happens
kind
of
be
the
foundation
of
what
happens
then.
So
those
are
the
really
the
three
candidates.
B
It's
the
same
aspect
of
my
thinking,
process
of
them
in
that
same
perspective,
and
it's
a
murder.
Actually
that
was
more
in
the
sense
of
hearing
what
you
want
to
individually,
but
Monsieur
that
was
more
analytical.
Research
does
his
homework
to
kind
of
look
at
it
in
a
bigger
picture
outside
the
box,
I.
G
Thank
you
again.
That
is
entirely
correct.
We'll
take
this.
You
know
we
will
glob
what
we
take
very
seriously,
because
we
expect
that
we
hold
that
this
person
becomes
a
part
of
part
of
the
fiber
fabric
of
not
just
a
city
but
city
employees,
but
of
the
community,
because
this
person,
I,
would
I
would
hope
would
become
you
know,
intertwined
with
with.
