blanca
for
the
34th
year
it
has
been
a
very
prestigious
and
so
after
hunting
contest.
So
we
are
glad
to
you
know,
have
it
on
a
real
current
basis.
We
do
have
a
lot
of
reach.

So
the
mission
is
to
attract
tourism
by
promoting
the
city
of
laredo.
As
the
premier
south
texas
hunting
destination,
we
were
awarded
twenty
thousand
dollars.
However,
we
tally
up
all
of
the
expenses
we
tally
up.
You
know
the
manpower
that
goes
into
it,
overhead
costs
and
all
of
that
it
all
sums
up
to
75
000.

We
do
attract
the
heads
and
beds
promote
the
city
of
laredo.
As
I
said,
throughout
the
nation
and
in
mexico
as
well,
and
that
we
serve
as
hunters-
and
we
close
the
annual
hunters
geek
of
banquet,
so
what
I
like
about
cola,
blanca
and
the
way
we
attract
tourism
is
that
it's
not
only
for
the
hunting
season,
but
it's
year-round.
So
the
hunters
come
back
to
laredo
stay
in
radio
hotels
when
they
come
and
do
the
scoring.

We
do
have
a
very
good
person
here
in
town
that
does
the
scoring,
so
they
come
back
off
season
for
all
other
administrative
purposes
and
also
the
banquets
and
with
that
we
do
have
the
registration
slide.

Usually,
our
average
is
about
400
registrations
a
year.
Last
year
we
did
355
colgate
and
all
that
for
pft
is
kind
of
our
standard,
but
the
vast
majority
is
from
out
of
town
it's
people
from
all
over
texas.
We
get
some
few
out
of
state
but
all
over
texas,
and
these
are
a
lot
of
people
that
would
go
to
their
ranch
and
not
come
into
the
city.
But
now
they
have
a
purpose
to
come
into
the
city
to
register
to
get
their
their
trophy
score.

have
been
here
otherwise,
and
we
also
have
our
annual
awards
banquet
and
anywhere
from
three
to
five
hundred
people.
Last
year
we
had
almost
400
and
again
their
vast
majority
are
from
out
of
town
and
they
wouldn't
have
really
come
here.
Otherwise,
personally,
I
I'm
a
hunter
with
my
people
from
the
ranch
that
come
in
and
they
registered.
They
don't
come
to
laredo,
but
for
this
they're
here
every
year-
and
you
know
that's

rooms
right
there
and
that's
a
big
thing
for
us
that
all
these
guys
are
out
of
town.

add,
the
contest
has
several
youth
categories
and
those
particular
categories
as
well,
and
the
committee
and
oscar
is
the
chairman
of
our
kuala,
been
you
know,
helping
put
all
of
this
program
together,
but
those
youth
categories,
what
it
does
it
helps
us
also,
you
know,
attract
the
entire
family
to
come
to
the
event,
because
when
you
have,
you
know
more
than
30
kids
that
are
receiving
one
of
our
trophies.
You
know
the
entire
family
wants
to
be
at
the
ceremony
and
they
come
and
they
make
it
a
shopping.

the
next

we
see
the
breakdown
of
the
funding.
As
you
can
see,
we're
making
the
most
out
of
the
investment
advertisement
is
at
four
thousand:
the
contract
labor.
It's
a
three
thousand
website
development,
fifteen
hundred
social
media
management,
three
thousand
equipment,
fifteen
hundred
promotional
materials,
30
000
and
the
price
is
4
000..
I
know
the
bronzes
there's
something
that
you

Every
hunter
is
really
looking
after
I'm
not
a
hunter
myself,
but
I
know
that
throughout
you
know
the
hunter
world
and
the
ranges
and
all
of
that
they
know
that
the
color
of
black
price-
it's
it's
a
good
one.
So
we're
proud
of
saying
that
austin
will
go
into
all
of
the
social
media,
outreach
and
numbers,
but
for
the
for
the
dollar
amount
that
we're
putting
in
we're
maximizing
the
return
on
investment.

we

have,
we
have
a
third
party
social
media
manager,
that
is,
she
is
dedicated
to
the
hunting
industry.
She
knows
a
lot
of
people,
so
we've
been
pushing
on
billboards,
we've
been
pushing
like
lone
star
outdoor
news.
They
send
out
weekly
email
blasts
to
over
100
000
people
and
we're
featured
the
very
front.
You
know
our
website
and
and
our
social
media
has,
on
average
50
000
visits
per
month
between
facebook
and
instagram.

Would
not
do
that.
We
were
able
to
forecast
a
potential
outreach
for
the
facebook
page
and
it's
currently
at
240
234
million
to
275
million.
So
that's
the
potential
that
the
cola
blanca,
facebook
page
could
grow
into.
Should
we
invest
much
more
into
it,
but
yeah
overall,
those
are
the
numbers
right
now.
The
potential
to
grow
is
tremendous,
as
you
can
see,
and
social
media.
You
know
it's,
it's
almost
like
a
miracle
right.
You
just
push
a
button
and
you
know
you
can
go
viral
within
a
second.

certainly
been
a
plus
for
us
getting
out
there
and
everything
is
branded
with
something
with
our
logo
that
says
laredo
on
the
bottom,
laura
texas,
so
we've
grown
a
lot.
Our
event
has
grown
a
lot
and
those
dollars
have
gone
a
long
way
to
help
us
get
there.
You
know
it
was
just
in
the
world,
it's
all
digital
now,
and
we're
able
to
still
get
people
physically
here
that
wouldn't
have
come
otherwise.

over

years

motto
grant.

it
has
been
supporting
this
particular
program
for
many
many
years

really
that's
what
helps
not
only
cola

promote

city

bring
pets.

just
the

economic
impact

this
type

programs
