re-bid
from
the
previous
demolition
bids
where
they
came
in
over
our
Consultants
estimates.
We
changed
some
scope
and
received
bids
today
on
that
new
scope,
a
green
demolition,
a
base
bid
289
800,
with
an
alternate
of
fifty
five
thousand
two
hundred
O'rourke
327
000,
with
an
alternate
bid
of
20
000.
Innovative
demolition,

583.88.

The
alternate
was
7947.45
sense,
650
thousand
dollars
with
an
alternate
of
forty
seven
thousand
dollars,
Omni
Demolition,
238-435
and
25
cents,
and
the
alternate
was
5160
and
Saddam
was

500.
The
alternate
sixteen
thousand
four
hundred
I
would
ask
that
the
board
of
Works
give
a
motion
to
approve
the
apparent
low
bidder,
Omni
subject
to
review
by
consultants
and
our
legal
team
and
authorize
the
mayor
to
sign
the
agreement
for
the
project
per
the
consultant's
final
recommendations.

that
we
will
be
having
a
groundbreaking
this
afternoon
of
the
new
Oak
Hill
Park,
we're
very
excited
about
the
Renovations
Restorations
and
essentially
the
transformation
that's
happening
at
Oak
Hill.
So
I
invite
all
the
board
here,
as
well
as
the
community
to
join
us,
a
Community
Foundation,
the
parks,
department
and
city
of
Madison
and
all
of
our
other
contributors
who
are
making
Oak
Hill
a
success
and
particularly
shining
a
light
on
the
need
for
upgrading
the
Park
neighborhood
park
facility.

know,
in
addition
to
not
only
doing
the
the
paving
and
the
gutters
and
the
gutter
pans
and
sidewalks
and
Ada
accessibility
and
creating
new
parking
and
as
well
as
a
new
park,
but
we've
been
very
active
with
regards
to
our
nuisance
enforcement
and
there's
a
couple
of
neighborhoods,
including
Oak
Hill
on
the
hilltop.
That's
benefited
from
a
very
robust
code.
Enforcement
on
on
nuisances
and
I
will
say
that
a
lot
of
the
nuisance
complaints
have
been
property
owner
abated,
so
I
think
in
the
future.

be

involved

the

the
financing

the
improvements

fantastic

see
the
community
pull
together,
particularly
our
industry
here,
and
our
Community
Foundation.
Knowing
that
and
understanding
what
the
need
is
and
how
important
neighborhood
parks
are
to
the
Vitality
of
our
community.

drive
through
the

Oak
Hill
once
a
week
just
to
keep
up
with
the
with
the
project
and
I
mean
he's
just
so
enlightening
to
to
see
all
the
work.
That's
been
done
and
the
improvements-
and
you
know
just
can't,
wait
for
the
the
paving
to
start
and
and
then
the
park
is
going
to
be.
The
icing
on
the
cake
so
really
good
for
that.
For
that
neighborhood
and
all
the
citizens
that
live
in
that
neighborhood.
