A
A
Next
order
of
business
is
the
approval
of
claims.
Claims
have
been
passed
around,
yes,
everybody
and
the
amount
of
fifty
thousand
fifty
thousand
nine
hundred
sixty
seven
dollars.
Fifty
cents
everybody's
had
a
chance
to
review
those
any
questions
or
comments.
Can
I
get
a
motion
to
approve
the
claims.
B
Mr
president,
we
are
the
mayor
and
myself
are
continuing
in
conjunction
with
reedy
financial
group
to
to
fine-tune
this
update
this
for
the
for
the
commission.
I
believe
you
got
a
good
look
last
month
what
we
would
propose,
we're
going
to
make
a
couple
more
small
tweaks
to
that
as
well,
and
then
also
you
guys
have
an
act.
You
have
access
to
this
as
well
in
your
packet
would
appreciate
any
feedback
on
that
from
you
guys
moving
forward.
B
We
feel
it's
fiscally
proven
to
have
a
a
minimum
three-year
plan
for
you,
but
probably
a
five-year
plan
at
some
point
and
we're
continuing
to
develop
that
with
with
parker
and
reed.
So.
C
C
We
have
several
options,
which
is
good,
but
once
we
once
we
get
all
that
formalized
and
exactly
know
which
which
investments
we're
making
we'll
come
together
with
the
financing
plan,
because
not
all
of
the
investments
we
want
to
make
can
be
supported
by
just
the
annual
a
tip
revenue
after
you
take
out
the
commitments
that's
already
made.
B
I
provided
that
to
you
at
last
month's
meeting
for
your
review
and
comment,
so
I
didn't
get
a
lot
of
comment.
We
answered
some
questions
at
the
meeting.
B
If
there
are
no
further
questions
I'll,
be
glad
to
try
and
entertain
questions
so
again,
just
by
saying
that
they've
they've
been
extremely
beneficial
in
cooperating
with
us
on
what
we're
trying
to
achieve
for
this
redevelopment,
commission
and
as
you've
heard
and
we'll
continue
to
hear,
we
are
extremely
busy
and
I
think,
have
a
lot
of
great
projects
in
front
of
us.
B
Fortunately
or
unfortunately,
they
all
take
capital
investment,
so
we've
got
to
figure
out
how
to
pay
for
them
and
reid's
been
very
helpful.
Not
only
to
us,
I
think,
as
a
recommendation
and
an
advisor,
so
I
would
recommend
approving
their
contract
and
I've
got
the
amount
here
that
helps.
B
B
By
way
of
explanation,
I
was
contacted
by
by
jeff
kernan,
except
a
couple
months
back
and
asking
about
our
property.
The.
B
Commission
owns
up
similar,
we
were
discussing
earlier
today,
our
our
parcels,
our
two
acre
parcels
that
we've
got
and
they
have
miss
madison,
actually
has
an
interest,
or
at
least
a
question
on
if
those
are
for
sale
and
if
the
redevelopment
commission
would
consider
ever
partying
with
those
for
a
for
a
a
new
endeavor.
B
So
I
believe
mr
grooms
is
going
to
be
the
spokesperson
spokesperson
today
for
for
miss
madison,
and
I
asked
them
to
explain
a
little
bit
more
about
their
project,
their
investment,
what
they're
thinking
of
of
doing
with
that
property?
So
with
that
charlie
I'll,
go
ahead
and
turn
it
over
to
you.
If.
A
D
We
live
now,
okay,
good!
Well,
thanks
for
having
us,
I
brought
some
of
our
board
members
to
help
answer
any
questions
you
may
have,
but
as
as
you
mentioned,
jeff
had
mentioned
to
us
that
there
may
be
some
property
available,
that
we
could
try
and
work
with
you
guys
or
with
somebody
on
the.
D
This
is
the
60th
year
of
miss
madison
and
we
want
to
kind
of
move
home
move
back
home.
A
lot's
happened
in
our
in
our
world
over
the
60
years,
but
we've
seriously
outgrown
what
we
have
down
on
milton
street.
I'm
sure
you
have
heard
the
the
talk
amongst
a
lot
of
people
about
us
living
and
working
and
doing
our
business
in
seattle.
D
D
D
We
believe
we
believe
that
the
drawings
that
we
have-
and
I
don't
know
if
it's
you
know
when
at
what
point
in
time
you
guys
want
to
see
those
or
ask
questions
about
them,
but
we
have
a
60
by
100
initial
building
in
our
plan
and
then
a
100
by
50
edition,
on
top
of
that
in
the
very
near
future.
D
One
of
the
real
concerns
that
we
have
to
support
our
endeavor
and
what
we
want
to
try
and
accomplish
and
stay
at
the
level
of
competition
that
we
currently
are
is
we
need
to
be
in
an
area
where
we
can
make
some
noise.
If
you
will,
we
need
we
own
a
dyno,
a
test
cell
which
runs
the
engines
at
100,
full
power
and
the
turbine
engine
at
full
power
makes
a
lot
of
noise,
not.
D
Long
period
of
time
mind
you
sometimes
you
don't
run
it
for
a
minute
or
two,
but
it
does
make
a
lot
of
noise,
so
we
don't
feel
like
we
can
do
that
downtown,
at
least
without
really
rattling
the
walls
and
making
the
neighbors
upset.
So
we
would
like
something
a
little
bit
out
of
town,
but
we
do
currently
have
three
full-time
employees.
D
D
Road
we
have
two
years
left
on
our
contract
with
home
street
okay.
We
anticipate
that
they
will
renew
that,
but
irrespective
of
that,
we're
in
a
facility
in
seattle,
a
twenty
000
foot
facility-
that's
in
king
county
and
yes,
it
is
true.
D
Things
are
expensive
in
seattle
and
things
are
a
little
different
in
seattle
than
they
are
in
madison.
So
we
don't
need
to
elaborate
on
what
those
are,
but
we'd
really
like
to
get
back
to
indiana,
as
opposed
to
working
with
king
county
in
seattle.
So.
A
Okay,
you're:
are
you
looking
for
property
that
the
redevelopment
commission
already
owns.
D
We
believe
that
you
own
some
and
yes,
the
the
parcels
we've
been
have
been
brought
to
our
attention-
are
on
up
on
sean
pike
and
hutchinson,
laying
up
in
that
corner.
Okay
and
that's
an
area
that
we
would,
we
would
find
very
suitable,
okay.
B
Just
by
way
of
explanation,
I'm
in
the
process
of
I
will
say
preliminarily
developing
those
parcels
and
surveying
a
couple
of
those
and
doing
some
work
up
there
in
terms
of
laying
that
out.
So
just
by
way
of
explanation
being
a
city
city
run
property
owner.
This
is
not
a
speedy
process
and
will
take
take
some
time,
but
it
sounds
like
you
guys,
aren't
quite
ready
to
make
the
move
right
away
for.
Are
you.
D
We're
ready
to
start
building
something,
but
we're
not
in
a
position
to
move
into
it
or
do
those
things
I
I
really
think
we're
going
to
be
compelled
to
stay
where
we
are
for
at
least
the
duration
of
the
contract
with
home
stream,
which
is
two
years
okay.
So,
in
light
of
what
jeff
had
mentioned-
and
I
think
others
have
mentioned-
this
process
could
take
a
while
for
both
for
us
both
and
let's
get
started
now
and
answer
the
questions
and
do
the
preliminary
work.
We
have
the
drawings.
D
D
We've
looked
at
some
existing
stuff,
but
in
light
of
this
test
cell,
which
is
kind
of
the
key
component,
there's
really
not
much
locally,
I
mean
if
we
didn't
have
that,
there's
a
number
of
places
that
would
fit
the
need.
That's
a
unique
piece
like
I
said,
I'm
repeating
it.
D
It's
not
used
very
often,
but
when
it
does,
when
you
run
the
engine
full
power
under
a
full
load,
3000
horsepower
and
it
blows
up
it's
going
to
make
some
noise
and
hurt
something,
and
so
we
we
have
to
build
a
special
enclosure
for
it
and
those
things
so.
B
D
We
would
need
at
least
four
okay,
so
we
may
need
two
parcels.
We
currently
have
the
well.
We
just
had
to
shut
down
the
dyno.
It
was
located
in
the
city
of
lake
stevens,
washington.
It
is
not
something
I
don't
want
to.
I
don't
want
to
sound
alarm
bells
and
it's
something
wild
and
crazy.
That's
it
just
makes
a
lot
of
noise,
but
from
an
insurance
perspective
or
a
safety
perspective,
we
don't
have
issues
there.
B
A
B
A
D
That
would
be
the
ask
okay,
but
we
are
more
than
prepared
to
to
do
what
needs
to
get
done
to
to
secure
a
facility.
A
D
Miss
madison
needs
to
come
home
and,
and
we
have
significant
several
million
dollars
worth
of
equipment.
We
need
to
to
make
sure
it's
in
the
right
place
the
proper
place,
and
it
can
continue
on
at
the
level
that
it
currently
is,
which
is
a
very
high
level.
D
The
race
sites
are
all
very
strong.
The
owner
group
is
hit
and
miss.
If
you
will,
we've
seen
the
influx
of
a
couple
new
ones
here
recently,
but
that's
kind
of
the
way
it
goes
in
the
in
the
history
of
the
sport
it
kind
of
has
its
ebbs
and
flows,
but
right
now
it's
got
really
five
really
good
solid
race
sites,
including
madison.
D
We
believe
solid,
good
in
good
shape,
especially
the
ones
on
the
west
coast,
so
yeah
we,
I
wouldn't
call
it
extremely
bright
because
motorsports
in
general
is
challenged,
but
outdoor
sports
outdoor
entertainment,
most
of
the,
without
getting
into
a
whole
lot
of
detail.
Most
of
the
events
are
diversifying
to
the
extent
whether
like
in
the
case
of
madison,
they
have
a
festival
in
the
case
of
seattle.
D
C
Business
or
good
afternoon
earlier
today
we
talked
about
our
redevelopment
activities
here
across
the
community,
and
I
want
to
reiterate
those
for
the
community
and
and
also
just
reiterate,
our
plans,
for
you
know
continuing
to
work
on
long-term
investment
strategies
as
well.
As
the
you
know,
the
financing
that's
required
for
each
one
of
those
initiatives.
C
Over
the
course
of
the
past
few
months,
the
city
of
madness
has
embarked
on
several
efforts
to
revitalize
parts
of
madison.
We
have
a
blight
elimination
program
going
on
downtown.
That's
attracted
almost
2
million
dollars
of
capital
for
restoring
and
preserving
historic
structures
and
targeted
neighborhoods.
C
That
is
that
project
has
been
delayed
because
of
the
change
in
the
retail
environment
due
to
due
to
covet,
but
we
still
have
that
property
under
under
contract
and
we'll
be
bringing
with
you
to
you
in
the
near
future.
An
update
on
that
city
madison,
has
acquired
or
is
in
the
price
of
acquiring
of
assets
for
gateway
improvement
projects
on
the
east
end
that
will
be
complementary
to
the
east.
C
End
bridge
approach,
investment
that
the
indict
has
made
we're
working
on
a
significant
capital
plan
for
four
and
a
half
miles
of
formerly
state
highway
56,
which
goes
to
our
downtown
main
street
and
and
corridor,
as
well
as
the
top
of
hanover
hill.
C
C
Project
on
8th
street
between
craigmont
and
the
junior
and
senior
high
schools,
and
then
today
what
we
want
to
do
is
talk
with
you
about
approval
and
support
from
redevelopment
commission
to
expand
our
redevelopment
and
revitalization
efforts
through
the
acquisition
of
a
large
parcel
in
downtown
madison.
That
is
the
the
home
of
the
former
ruler
grocery
store.
C
C
We
backed
that
initiative
up
with
a
market
study
that
supports
a
retail
environment
for
a
grocery
store
operator,
and
we
feel
it's
important
for
us
to
be
able
to
market
what
we
own,
and
that
is
by
acquiring
this
property.
So
today
I
would
like
redevelopment
commission's
approval
to
authorize
me
to
enter
into
negotiations
and
purchase
agreement
to
acquire
the
property
at
120
122nd
street,
which
is
a
10
000
square
foot,
commercial
building,
plus
the
adjacent
parking
and
our
efforts.
C
C
As
you
know,
the
redevelopment
commission
has
already
agreed
to
support
the
super
overlook
project
that
the
front
development
committee
has
embarked
on,
and
we
think
that
by
acquiring
this
property
with
the
the
terms
that
we
believe
are
favorable
will
help
us
over
the
course
of
the
next
24
months.
Follow
through
on
this
key
initiative,
and
that
is
tracked.
An
operator
downtown
for
a
full-service
grocery
store.
E
E
E
And
it's
further
that
the
seller
would
understand
that
this
agreement
is
an
approval
for
the
mayor
to
negotiate
the
terms
here
and
perform
the
necessary
due
diligence
and
the
seller
further
understands
that
the
final
approval
of
the
purchase
of
the
property
will
only
be
following
confirming
resolution
and
final
approval
by
the
city.
Madison
redevelopment
commission,
and
it's
also
continued
upon
the
appraisals
that
we
will
be
receiving
so
there's
multiple
contingencies.
A
A
B
No,
as
I
said
I'll,
be
proceeding
with
moving
forward
with
our
our
survey
and
our
appraisals
out
there,
but
that
should
be
over
the
next,
like
I
said,
60
to
90
days.
So
on.
