Description
Minneapolis Zoning & Planning Committee Meeting
A
Good
morning
welcome
everyone,
I
am
council,
member,
andrew
johnson
and
I'm
calling
to
order
our
regularly
scheduled
zoning.
A
planning
committee
meeting
on
june
fifth
2014,
I'm
joined
today
by
council
members,
Lisa
Goodman,
barb,
Johnson,
Kevin,
Reich
and
Abdi
Warsaw
me
today
on
our
agenda.
We
have
two
items.
One
item
is
consent
that
is
for
an
outdoor
sales
and
displays
zoning
code
text
amendment.
This
is
amending
title
20
of
the
Code
of
Ordinances
related
zoning
to
allow
additional
sale
and
display
of
goods
outside
of
business
establishments.
Chapter
5
25
is
relating
to
administration
and
enforcement.
A
B
You
mr.
chair
I
just
wanted
to
note
that
we
did
take
up
in
the
community
development
committee
the
licensing
portion
of
the
outdoor
sales
and
display
and
that
passed
unanimously.
And
this
is
the
follow
up
on
the
zoning
piece
of
it.
And,
as
I
said,
the
committee
unanimously
voted
in
favor
of
it
great.
A
Thank
you.
We
also
have
discussion
on
80
broadway
street
northeast
that
was
referred
by
the
city
council,
so
I
will
move
that
we
approve
the
consent
item
and
then
move
on
to
our
discussion.
All
those
in
favor,
please
say:
aye
aye,
all
right!
That
mu
is
passed,
so
we
will
move
on
to
our
discussion
of
80
broadway
street
north
east.
So
this
item
comes
back
to
us
from
the
city
council
after
we
had
talked
at
our
last
meeting
about
this,
and
we
have
an
appeal
on
this
as
well.
So
with
that
any
discussion,
councilmember
Reich.
C
Thank
You
mr.
chair
on
behalf
of
the
area,
counselor
counselor

met
with
the

furthermore,
looked
at
substance
issues,
particularly
around
traffic
flow,
with
staff,
technical
staff,
and
he
requests
that
we
her
that
process
requests
that
we,
in
addition
to
the
conditions
that
have
been
discussed
at
the
previous
meeting,
add
to
it
that
the
