Description
Minneapolis Transportation & Public Works Committee Meeting
A
A
Will
call
this
regularly
scheduled
meeting
the
transportation
public
works
committee
to
order
this
day,
November
7,
2016,
I'm,
councilman,
righty
I'll
be
cheering
today's
committee
and
joined
by
my
colleagues
on
the
committee,
including
Kozma,
yang,
Lydon,
Palmisano,
vendor
and
Gordon.
We
are
full
committee
and
we'll
proceed
with
today's
agenda,
of
which
we
have
13
items.
I
will
go
through
the
consent
items
any
committee
member
can
pull
them
for
further
consideration.
Item
three:
is
the
Anderson
School
pedestrian
crossing
bikeway
project
layout
approval
and
grant
acceptance
a
series
of
actions
to
move
forward
with
that
I?
A
In
conjunction
with
that
project
item
6
of
the
49th
avenue
north
and
queen
avenue
north
bridges
over
shingle
creek
project,
it's
a
contract
amendment
with
pci
roads,
item,
seven,
northern
lights,
express
joint
powers,
agreement
amendment
and
it's
to
continue
to
be
a
part
of
that
group.
Adam
eight
of
the
sanitary
sewer
cleaning
contract
amendment
with
sewer
services
incorporated
item
nine-
is
the
2016
levy
of
various
public
works
department,
special
assessments
item
10
is
a
uniform
assessment
rates.
Establishing
2017
rates
and
11
is
the
2016
traffic
zones,
restrictions
and
controls
item.
A
12
is
the
bid
for
parking
intercom
assistance
project?
That's
accepting
a
little
bit
for
that
work,
and
I
will
just
committee
member
wish
to
pull
any
items.
Not
I
will
move
all
items
as
submitted
all
in
favor,
say
aye.
I
am
sendi
name.
Those
items
carry
I'm
actually
going
to
go
to
the
item
13,
which
is
a
discussion
item,
and
I
will
make
a
motion
to
postpone
that
item.
One
cycle
for
the
conversation
call
tomorrow
yang.
C
Thank
You
mr.
chair
for
making
that
motion
I
am
going
to
speak
in
favor
of
that
and
there
was
just
a
lot
of
activity
over.
Let's
say
last
few
days
with
regard
to
that
issue,
and
you
know,
I'm
pimping
gonna
actually
came
into
my
office.
To
give
me
a
briefing,
and
you
know
it
wasn't
necessarily
a
full
briefing
on
the
whole
I
guess
from
10th
Aldridge.
You
know
the
briefing
actually
was
from
pretty
much
all
bridge.
C
All
the
way
down
to
Xerxes
were
at
to
the
end
of
the
border,
and
you
know
that
wasn't
the
only
consideration
but
I
the
other
consideration,
which
is
that
staff
had
recommended
that
we
just
postpone
it
for
one
cycle
until
I
support
that
and
it's
were
I'm
sneaking
around.
So
thank
you.
Mrs.
here
comes.
D
You
mr.
chair
I'll,
just
note
I
think
it's
great
to
postpone
this
a
cycle.
If
there's
a
lot
going
on
in
this
one
particular
corridor
with
plan
transit
as
well
as
a
bike
way
and
some
questions
about
what
kind
of
like
way.
That
is
so
just
note
that
it's
really
great
that
we're
talking
about
what
kind
of
bike
way
here
and
look
forward
to
the
discussions,
and
thanks
to
councilmember
yang
for
kind
of
leading
on
postponing
that
in
this
area.
For.

the
middle
value
and
eighty
five
dollars
a
year
for
the
average
