I'll
call
to
order
our
regular
meeting
in
the
zoning
and
planning
committee
today
is
made
fifth
2016
I'm
Lisa
bender
I
chair
the
committee.
We
have
a
quorum
with
council
members,
Reich
Goodman,
Johnson
and
Council
President
Johnson.
We
have
three
items
on
today's
agenda.
All
are
on
the
consent
agenda
item
number
one
is
vacation
of
part
of
an
ally
for
church
of
cl
albert
the
great
at
28
36
33rd
avenue.
South
item
number
two
is
a
rezoning
at
622
fifteenth,
Street
East.
A
That
would
be
to
allow
a
six-story
building
as
part
of
the
1400
Park
Avenue
apartment
project.
An
item
number
three
is
passage
of
an
ordinance
amending
our
zoning
code
to
allow
for
new
regulations
for
establishments
that
provide
free
flu,
food
clothing
and
services,
and
this
has
created
a
new
zoning
classification
called
community
service
facility,
which
has
a
much
more
constrained
definition
than
what
we
currently
allow
for,
which
is
a
mission
so
I'll
see.

pull
any
of

just
since
we
have
nothing
else
to
do
and
we're
just
sitting
here.
I
just
wanted
to
point
out
an
item
number
two
and
the
developers
here
today:
Mr
Hunt,
who
I've
had
the
opportunity
to
work
with
many
years
ago,
he's
doing
an
amazing
project
in
Elliot
Park,
where
there's
no
controversy,
where
they're
up
zoning
the
property
building
a
six-story
building
of
market
rate
rentals
in
a
neighborhood
that
is
predominantly
largely
social
service
and
affordable
on
the
old
map,
site
and
I.

Just
think
it's
great,
and
you
know
you
ended
up
on
a
day
when
there
was
not
anything
else
going
on,
but
everybody
is
not
against
development
in
the
city.
Every
neighborhood
is
not
against
it.
Every
council
number
is
not
against
it
and
we
thank
you
for
adding
these
units
in
this
neighborhood
and
I
know
the
neighborhood's
really
happy
about
the
fact
that
you're
building
market
rate
rentals,
even
though
you're
doing
it
for
someone
else
you're
still
doing
it.
It's
all
good.
