A
B
Okay,
do
we
have
a
motion
to
adopt
the
agenda
moved
in
Sangin
and
all
in
favor,
say
aye
aye
opposed
same
sign
all
right.
We
have
our
new
business
before
us.
There
are
three
parts.
The
first
is
the
adoption
of
our
budget,
which
is
two
hundred
and
twenty
thousand
dollars,
two
hundred
and
twenty
thousand
five
hundred
dollars.
But
here
somebody
want
to
want
to
move
this.
B
And
seconded
and
I'll
just
read
it
quickly:
biet
hereby
resolved
by
the
board
of
estimate
and
taxation
of
the
city
of
minneapolis.
The
budget
for
2018,
effective
January,
1st
2018,
including
attendance
of
the
government,
finance
Officers,
Conference
six
through
nine
of
May
in
st.
Louis
Missouri,
healthcare
changes
consistent
with
the
city
and
wage
adjustment

B
A
A
number
of
members
today
this
is
their
last
meeting
of
the
mighty
mighty
board
of
estimate
and
Taxation
and
I
would
like
to
thank
each
of
you
for
your
service,
mr.
Quincy
Johnson,
mr.
tab.
Thank
you
so
much,
it's
been
an
exciting
four
years
of
finance
and
for
some
of
us
are
even
more
than
that.
Thank
you.
So
much
for
your
time
on
the
board.
The
city
is
a
better
place
for
each
and
every
one
of
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you
and.
B
We're
not
there.
Just
graduating
is
what's
happening.
We
have
been
so
fortunate
in
the
city
to
have
people
that
take
the
issue
of
finance
so
seriously
crafting
good
budgets.
We've
got
tremendous
staff
who
have
helped
us.
We've
made
long-term
commitments
for
the
parks
and
and
for
the
streets,
there's
a
real
responsibility
that
that
all
of
these
people
have
have
shown
to
us
and
for
this
for
the
citizens
of
Minneapolis
I,
you
know,
barb
barb
has
been
around
what
only
20
years,
I
guess
and
has
done
incredible
work.
B
It's
been
such
an
honor
to
get
to
know
her
and
to
work
closely
with
her.
It
really
really
has
been
barb.
It's
been
I
need.
A
tab
has
been
absolutely
fantastic.
She
has
done
such
a
good
job
on
the
park
board.
It
works
so
very,
very
hard
to
help
put
together
this.
This
a
long-range
plan,
along
with
Jayne
and
lots
of
staff
I
eight
years
ago,
John
and
I
did
a
Monday
night
madness,
as
we
were
both
running
for
office
for
the
first
time
in
Minneapolis,
and
we
both
were
elected.
B
My
City
Council
member,
when
I
lived
in
the
13th,
Ward
and
I've
known
her
for
a
long
time
and
she's
put
together
some
very
responsible
budgets
that
have
made
a
huge
difference
for
the
citizens
of
Minneapolis
and,
of
course,
I
have
to
say
we're
gonna
be
serving
together
the
next
four
years,
but
my
colleague
Carol
Becker,
has
done
outstanding
work
too.
This
is
this
is
a
great
board
and
Jack.
B
Our
staff
person
has
has
looked
at
things
in
ways
that
that
a
lot
of
people
don't
and
he's
helped
us
discover
what
to
do
better
in
terms
of
our
bonding
and
in
terms
of
use
of
finances
and
he's
been
a
very,
very
good
steward.
This
city
of
Minneapolis
is
really
blessed
to
have
had
the
leadership
of
those
people
over
the
last
four
years,
and
we
look
forward
to
welcoming
Carol.
We
got
to
break
them
in
I
know
it's
gonna
be
brutal,
we'll.
