everyone
welcome
to
the
regularly
scheduled
meeting
of
ways
and
means
John
Quincy
the
chair
join
joined
by
council
vice
president
Glidden
council
members,
johnson,
Palmisano
and
yang,
and
so
we
are
a
quorum.
So
we
can
begin.
Of
course
we
have
27
items
on
the
agenda,
all
seem
pretty
straightforward
and
I'll
read
through
them.
If
anybody
had
any
questions
who
would
like
to
pull
them
off
for
discussion,
we
can
certainly
do
that.
The
first
five
items
are
a
series
of
legal
settlements.
A
Police
department
has
a
contract
with
Hennepin
Technical
College
for
summer
skills
classes
and
a
grant
from
Minnesota
Department
of
Commerce
for
Minnesota,
auto
theft,
prevention
program,
community
development,
regulatory
Services,
Committee
brings
forward
several
items,
including
the
2017
consolidated
plan.
We
also
have
a
modification
of
number
three
to
the
consolidated
redevelopment
tax
increment
financing
district.

also
have
item
number
13.
It's
a
contract
meant
with
Minnesota
home
ownership
center
health
environment,
Community
Engagement
committee
brings
forward
the
grant
from
new
venture
fund
for
healthy
babies.
Bright
Futures
program,
as
well
as
the
contract
meant
with
Val
Venis
owns
for
lead
remediation
services,
and
we
also
have
a
data
use
agreement
for
Healthy
Start
program
transportation
and
public
works
committee
has
a
series
of
actions
that
we
have
a
8th,
Street
southeast
resurfacing
project,
the
South
hay
area
residential
street
resurfacing
project
lyndale
school
crossings,
project.

is
a
safe
routes
to
school,
grant
agreement,
42nd,
Avenue,
North,
Street
reconstruction
project
and
that's
a
assessment
reduction
for
parcel
of
3810
Avenue,
north
35
W
and
Lake
Street
transit
access
project.
It's
a
supplemental
agreement
with
MnDOT
on
related
to
the
sanitary
sewer
design,
35w
Lake
Street
same
access
project,
with
supplemental
agreement
for
a
cooperative
agreement
with
MnDOT
on
water
main
design.
