A
Thanks:
everyone
welcome
to
the
august
25th
meeting
of
the
minneapolis
bicycle
advisory
committee
notice.
This
meeting
may
involve
the
participation
by
members
either
by
telephone
or
other
electronic
needs
due
to
the
local
public
health
emergency
novel
coronavirus
pandemic.
Pursuant
to
the
provisions
of
minnesota
statute,
section
13
d,
.021
millisecond,
if
you
would
call
the
roll
all
right,
aaron.

C
Yes
and
I'll
note
cadence
is
here
also.
B
B
Do
you
want
to
vote
for
the
on
the
agenda
in
a
minute.
E
A
I
will
also
vote
to
approve
the
minutes
in
the
agenda.
Thanks
melissa,
as
everybody
knows,
from
my
email,
we
are
not
really
going
to
do
detailed
subcommittee
reports
today.
That
is
what
the
minutes
are
for
we're
gonna
try
to
keep
keep
the
meeting
moving
relatively
quickly.
So
there's
one
motion
from
the
5e
subcommittee
that
bri
can
bring
forward
and
then
there's
three
motions
from
engineering
that
we're
hoping
to
pass
as
a
slate
so
that
we
can
minimize
the
amount
of
roll
calls
today.
G
Yeah
so
I'll
just
read
this
aloud:
micro
mobility
and
bike
share
screw
scooter
share
resolution
from
the
bac.
The
bicycle
advisory
committee
supports
the
rfp
process
for
the
next
micro
mobility
and
bike
share
scooter
share
contracts
for
the
city
of
minneapolis.
G
G
G
Second,
there
must
be
coordination
with
the
city
of
st
paul
to
streamline
shared
micro
mobility
access
between
our
two
cities.
Thirdly,
equity
and
accessibility
must
be
prioritized.
Oppressed,
neighborhoods
residents
need
the
means
to
utilize
these
modes
along
with
and
including
people
with
disabilities
having
micro,
mobility
options.
A
Thanks
janice:
does
anyone
have
any
proposed
changes
to
the
book
yeah?
I
had.
F
G
F
C
What
about
the?
What
about
adding,
historically
oppressed
versus
just
the
press.
B
G
C
I'm
going
to
be
honest,
I
was
dealing
with
some
technical
issues
and
I
apologize.

Okay
marty
here
here,
matthew,
hendricks.
C
B
C
C
A
Thank
you
millicent.
I
will
abstain.
Thank
you
everybody
for
moving
that
along
pretty
quickly
and
with
that
I'd
like
to
turn
over
to
marty
and
dan
for
the
motions
of
the
engineering
subcommittee.
H
Okay,
everybody,
we
actually
have
three,
but
let's
talk
about
the
first
one
is
upper
harbor,
harbor
terminal
and
the
resolution
was
the
minneapolis
bicycle
advisory
committee
supports
most
of
the
project
as
presented.
Special
acknowledgement
includes
the
safety,
aesthetic
and
shared
path,
improvements
planned
for
upper
and
lower
doweling,
the
94,
overpass
and
2nd
street
shared
pass.
H
We
recommend
more
than
a
10-foot
shared
path
with
indicating
the
lower
dowling
and
33rd
avenues
and
believe
different
combinations
of
path.
Striping,
stencils
and
wayfinding
techniques
are
essential
to
help
navigate
the
array
of
shared
and
separate
paths.
We
would
like
to
see
a
future
presentation
of
a
marking
and
a
wayfinding
plan,
including
where
they
would
be
located
on
the
design
layout.
H
Thank
you.
The
second
one
is
minnehaha
and
50th,
and
this
one
the
resolution
is
the
minneapolis
bicycle
advisory
committee
supports
the
mprb's,
minnehaha
parkway
regional
trail,
information,
implementation,
safety,
improvement
proposal
for
minnehaha,
parkway
and
50th
street
intersection,
and
ask
that
the
mprb
explore
the
following
additional
changes:
number
one
widening
the
bike
trail
on
the
west
side
of
minnehaha
parkway
to
12
feet
to
accommodate
occasional
pedestrian
use.
H
All
right
number
three
is
the
stone
arch
bridge.
The
minneapolis
bicycle
advisory
committee
is
concerned
about
the
two-year
closure
of
the
stone
arch
bridge.
We
would
like
to
see
a
detailed
detour
map,
including
layout,
and
way
finding
a
how
used
to
and
from
third
avenue
we
recommend,
exploring
and
signing
an
additional
route
south
of
the
stone
arch
bridge.
We
ask
that
mndot
further
explore
opening
the
stone
arch
bridge
during
the
non-construction
season.
A
Thanks
marty:
do
we
have
a
second
for
the
slate
of
motion.
A
Thanks
aaron
is
anyone
interested
in
pulling
any
of
these
out
for
additional
changes.
A
Okay
hearing
none
holy
smokes
folks,
nelson,
if
you
could
call
the
roll.
B
Okay
for
all
three
aaron.

C
B
Thank
you
and
we've
got
18
yeses
for
upper
upper
harbor
with
two
abstentions,
and
we've
got
one
abstention
for
think.
Scooter
share
no
stone
arch
bridge.
Sorry,
I'm
gonna
have
to
look
at
this
again
because
it's
my
compute,
my
it's
not
working
very
well,
but
you've
got
18
yeses
for
all
three
two
abstentions
for
upper
harbor
and
I'll
have
to
get
back
to
you
for
the
other
two.
A
Thank
you
millicent.
I
will
also
abstain
thanks
everybody
for
the
speediest
meeting
we
have
had
since
going
to
online
meetings.
I'm
very
impressed
with
you
all
for
the
announcement
section
of
the
agenda.
We
are
doing
the
vac
annual
bike
ride,
starting
right
now
in
the
government
center
plaza.
I
hope
you
all
be
there
any
other
announcements,
yeah
I've.
D
Fun
this
is
wes.
I've
got
a
quick
announcement
next
month
will
sadly
be
my
last
month
with
the
bac
I
moved
to
a
new
team
within
our
department,
and
so
that
responsibility
is
going
to
stay
with
my
old
team.
I
can
talk
about
it
more
at
the
next
meeting
and
that
kind
of
thing,
and
my
successor,
adrian
bockheim,
will
be
present
next
month
as
well.
A
E
I
tried
to
do
both.
This
is
cadence.
I
just
wanted
to.
Let
folks
know
that
the
lowry
avenue
reconstruction
project
stakeholder
advisory
committee
has
applications
that
are
open
until
sunday.
The
project
deadline
for
that
was
extended
from
last
sunday
to
this
sunday.
So
if
you
know
anyone
in
northeast
who
has
an
interest
in
that
project,
I
can
send
them
a
link
to
the
application
cool
thanks.
A
Thanks
cadence
with
that,
I
will
call
us
adjourned.
Thank
you.
Everybody,
looking
forward
to
riding
with
you
and
we'll
we'll
be
back
online
again
next
month,
thanks.
