If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
All
right
welcome
everybody
to
the
january
27th
meeting
of
the
minneapolis
bicycle
advisory
committee
notice.
Members
of
this
meeting
may
participate
remotely
by
telephone
or
other
electronic
means
due
to
the
local
public
health
emergency
novel
coronavirus
pandemic.
Pursuant
to
the
provisions
of
minnesota
statute,
section
13d
point:
zero:
two
one:
hey.
A
Welcome,
I'm
very
excited
to
see
some
of
your
familiar
faces
and
also
welcome
some
new
folks.
I've
seen
some
of
you
at
the
five
e's
and
meeting,
and
I
know
some
of
you
have
been
to
the
engineering
meeting,
but
I'm
excited
to
get
to
know
you
all
better.
Today
we
will
take
a
roll
before
we
jump
into
meeting
business
millicent.
Will
you
call
the
roll.
D
C
G
H
F
D
A
Roll
call
done
thanks,
melissa
and
then
next
we
have
the
adoption
of
the
agenda
in
minutes.
So
looking
for
a
motion
to
adopt
the
agenda
and
approve
our
december
meeting
minute,.
A
G
N
No
okay,
so
good
good
question.
I
was
gonna,
bring
this
up
for
for
the
resolutions
and
things,
but
I
suppose
this
is
a
vote
right
now.
I
think
the
only
folks
that
can
vote
and
milson
if
you
have
this
email
up,
would
be
phil
music,
marty,
deanna,
aaron,
alyssa,
maya,
bri,
sam
and
then
the
agency
reps.
N
So
if
you're
an
appointed
member-
and
you
haven't
gotten
your
oaths
in
yet
please
just
we'll
just
not
have
you
vote
this
time
and
then
want
to
encourage
you
to
get
your
oats
completed
as
soon
as
possible.
There
is
an
email
in
your
inbox
from
milson
on
how
to
do
that.
So
does
that
make
sense
agency.
G
Members
matthew
shouldn't
we
tell
is
isn't
millicent
planning
to
be
able
to
be
a
a
remote
notary
by
the
next
meeting.
So
those
of
us
who
have
not
signed
the
oath
can
just
do
it
at
the
next
meeting.
Is
that
going
to
be
true?
That's
true,
but
you
can't
vote
today.
We.
D
N
Well
hold
on,
I
guess
we're
not
we're
not
100
sure
that
milson
is
going
to
like
milson
has
applied
to
the
state
to
be
a
remote
notary
and
we're
just
not
sure
how
soon
that's
gonna
happen.
So,
if
you're
able
you
know,
we
talked
to
the
clerk's
office
today,
they're
they're
doing
a
bunch
of
them.
It
takes
less
than
you
know
a
minute
or
two.
If
you
can
get
downtown,
if
not,
you
can
get
your
own
notary,
which
again
I
don't
know
how
easy
or
comfortable
it
is
for
folks.
C
Yeah,
a
lot
of
people,
I
think,
have
gone
to
their
own
notaries.
You
know
it's
more
convenient
to
them.
They
haven't.
Everyone
hasn't
gone
down
to
city
hall.
As
long
as
you
have
the
document,
you
can
sign
it
in
front
of
a
notary
and
take
the
oath
in
front
of
them.
It's
fine.
You
can
go
to
the
bank
or
wherever.
O
Quick
question
was
that
I
could
vote
or
I
can't
vote.
This
is.
N
Already
drawings,
the
folks
that
I
have
and
then
milson
correct
me
from
wrong
philip
marty,
deanna
aaron,
alyssa,
maya
brie
and
sam
can
vote
today
base
that
that's
the
current
information
that
we
have.
C
Plus
plus
heather
dan
booty
and
steve
elmer,
jesse
thornson
john
barabs,
jamie
neldner,
they're,
all
current
and
kyle
larson.
N
K
A
Okay,
so
this
is
the
kind
of
fun
procedural
stuff
that
we
get
to
deal
with
with
online
meetings.
Thank
you,
janice
for
stewarding
us
in
your
role
as
secretary
and
making
sure
we
cross
all
the
t's
and
dot
all
the
eyes
yeah,
and
so
let's
do
our
best
to
do
the
vote.
If
you've
taken
your
oath
of
office,
you
can
vote.
If
you
have
not,
you
cannot
it's.
N
Right,
just
just
yeah,
let
me
let
me
do
this
just
give
me
a
second
to
talk
to
wilson.
Nelson,
are
you
prepared
to
just
call
the
folks
that
have
their
oath.
C
D
L
C
Q
I
should
abstain
since
I
was
not
not
at
the
december
meeting.
Okay.
C
Totally
confused
the
minutes
and
the
minutes
from
the
two
subcommittees
and
then
the
minutes
from
the
last
full
committee
meeting
in
december,
plus
other
things
in
the
email
that
you
got
from
gov
delivery
that
included
the
agenda
for
this
meeting.
Okay,
gotcha,
yes,.
G
R
N
I
I
may
wanna,
maybe
we'll
bring
this
up
in
the
in
the
agenda,
but
I
don't
think
attendance
at
the
previous
meeting
is
is
required.
You
know.
R
N
C
C
B
C
H
S
That
would
be
me,
samuel.
P
P
T
Got
it?
Yes,
okay,
I
apologize
for
the
the
late
arrival.
T
U
This
is
bree
witchcraft,
okay,
I
abstain
and
also
I
didn't
receive
an
email
with
that
information.
C
K
N
On
that,
I
want
to
note
on
that
topic.
First
couple
things:
we
have
a
really:
we
have
a
really
brand
new
subcommittee
or
a
bicycle
advisory
committee
and
remote.
So
I
think
a
lot
of
these
changes
are
expected
and
okay,
one
thing
I'll
say
with
that.
I
think
for
folks
that
may
not
have
gotten
it.
If
you
search
city
of
minneapolis
bicycle
advisory,
full
committee
meeting
agenda,
that's
where
it
will.
So
the
sender
is
the
city
of
minneapolis.
N
It's
not
middleson
anymore,
so
that's
where
you'll
see
it
and
then
there'll
be
an
opportunity
to
click
within
the
body
of
the
email
to
see
the
agenda.
So
I
I
got
mine
on
monday
at
11
17
a.m.
So
I
imagine
others
got
it
around
that
same
time.
C
K
N
Right
so
just
final
thought
on
that
for
folks
who,
who
said
they
didn't
get
it
if,
if
the
search
that
I
mentioned
for
city
minneapolis,
bicycle
advisory
doesn't
work,
then
then,
let's
talk
further
after
this.
A
Thanks
everybody,
hopefully
we
got
all
of
the
kinks
worked
out
in
the
in
the
first
10
minutes.
The
meeting
15
minutes
of
the
meeting
here
and
things
will
go
more
smoothly,
moving
forward
so
yeah
there
are
a
couple
emails
referenced
in
that
section,
both
the
emails
about
oath
of
office
and
then
the
email
with
the
agenda
attachments.
If
you're
struggling
to
find
that
stuff,
where
it's
not
showing
up
in
your
inbox,
please
reach
out
to
staff
or
to
me.
A
I
will
briefly
introduce
myself
before
we
do
launch
into
formal
introductions.
My
name
is
alyssa
schuffman.
I
usually
her
hers,
pronouns,
I'm
the
ward
9
rep.
I
am
also
the
outgoing
vice
chair.
The
outgoing
chair,
nick
mason,
is
no
longer
on
the
committee,
which
is
why
I
brought
today's
meeting
to
order
so
welcome
everybody.
Before
we
jump
into
introductions
and
onboarding,
I
am
gonna
turn
it
over
just
for
a
minute
to
tyler
our
parks
board
rep.
Who
has
some
news
for
us.
W
Thanks
alyssa,
so
I'm
gonna
be
stepping
down
from
the
bac
here,
starting
basically
now
and
my
colleague,
jamie
neldner
from
the
park
board
will
be
taking
over.
I
just
wanted
to
kind
of
let
you
all
know
that
and
if
you
do
have
staff
questions
for
the
park
board,
please
you
know,
shoot
jamie,
an
email
or
a
message
or
something,
and
he
can
he
can
approach
the
appropriate
staff
member
here
for
for
more
info
for
you.
W
So
if
you're
gonna
do
introductions
for
the
whole
group,
maybe
jamie
can
just
kind
of
jump
in
at
that
time.
If
that's
all
right
just
so,
we
don't
have
to
take
up
too
much
time,
but
I
just
wanted
to
say
I
won't
be
around
anymore,
but
I
will
still
stay
in
touch.
I
A
Thanks
tyler
yeah
doing
introductions
at
that
time
sounds
great.
I
see
matthew's
got
a
hand
raised.
I
since
I
have
the
mic,
I
will
say
it's
been
great
working
with
you,
we're
gonna
miss
you.
I
hope
that
we
get
to
see
you
at
a
bike,
ride
sometime
and
also
it's
it's
a
great
time
for
somebody
new
to
come
on
board
because
we're
doing
a
lot
of
transition
planning
right
now.
So
sad,
we
don't
get
to
say
goodbye
in
person.
W
Well,
thank
you.
No
it's
totally
good
and
and
jamie
is
a
great,
a
great
person
to
work
with
and
will
offer
some
some
nice
new
perspectives.
I
think.
N
Yeah,
I
just
wanted
to
offer
a
similar
sentiment
to
alyssa
tyler
thoroughly
enjoyed
your
presence
on
the
bac
and
all
you've
contributed
sad
to
see
you
go
also.
It's
always
exciting
to
meet
new
folks
so
happy
to
hear
more
from
jamie
in
a.
A
Minute
that
sounds
good,
millicent
typica.
Sorry,
I'm
gonna
before
we
jump
into
business.
Typically,
when
you
start
recording,
I
get
a
notification
at
the
top
and
there's
a
little
red
recording
button
and
I'm
not
seeing
it.
I
just
want
to
confirm
that
you
did
get
the
recording
up
and
running
before
we
entered.
C
A
Great!
That's
disconcerting
that
it's
not
notifying
us
that
it's
recording
anymore,
though
so,
can
anyone.
G
A
I
will
do
some
troubleshooting
later
we
can
move
on
with
agenda.
I
just
wanted
to
confirm
for
millicent,
so
cool
well,
welcome
everybody.
We
got
through
some
technical
hiccups,
so
that's
a
great
start
to
the
meeting
matthew
deardahl
has
prepared,
I
think,
a
really
great
onboarding
presentation
for
all
of
us
today.
I'm
excited
folks
to
get
to
see
some
of
that
information.
Some
of
you
for
the
first
time
as
new
members
for
the
committee
for
some
of
us,
it's
refreshed,
but
I
think
it's
really
great
to
get
grounded
in.
A
You
know
the
purpose
of
this
committee,
what
it's
for,
what
our
responsibilities
are
and
I'm
really
excited
to
work
with
you
all
this
year.
You
know
this
committee
is
really
effective
because
of
the
people
who
show
up
who
are
really
passionate
and
dedicated,
and
you
know,
come
to
the
meetings
and
and
read
the
materials
and
and
bring
your
perspective.
So
I
think
it's
very
very
exciting
and
I
am
yeah
looking
forward
to
the
presentation
and
working
with
all
of
you
this
year.
A
Yeah,
I
will
turn
it
over
to
matthew
to
to
get
us
started
a
little
bit
and
then
maybe
have
some
closing
comments.
Afterward
as
who
brought
the
meeting
to
order.
N
That
sounds
good,
so
I
just
want
to
cover
what
I'm
going
to
cover
so
we'll
spend
a
decent
amount
of
time,
a
large
portion,
hopefully
with
introductions
and
just
answering
some
questions
which
I'll
share
in
a
second
and
then
I
kind
of
want
to
just
cover
some
basic
information
about
the
structure
in
committee
and-
and
I
think
this
onboarding
will
will
continue
with
the
subcommittees,
particularly
the
the
5e
subcommittee.
N
So
we'll
have
some
different
agenda
items
to
just
get
people
up
to
speed
and
just
different
fun
items
there.
So
I
encourage
folks
to
check
out
the
next
5e
subcommittee.
N
Then
there
will
be
a
next
steps
portion
and
one
thing
I
want
to
note
because
of
the
oath
conversation
that
we
had
we're
going
to
hold
off
our
usual
election
process
until
next
month,
and
some
of
the
information
that
we'll
share
today
will
will
cover
who's
on
the
executive
committee.
What
the
roles
are
and
things
like
that
and
then
maybe
that'll
also
give
folks,
especially
because
we
have
so
many
new
folks,
an
opportunity
to
think
through.
N
If
you're
interested
in
you
know
throwing
your
hat
in
the
ring
and
and
being
on
the
executive
committee
and
in
one
of
those
positions,
so
that's
what
to
look
forward
to.
I
want
to
give
everyone
an
opportunity
to
take
a
look
at
these
questions
on
the
slide
and
maybe,
if
you
want,
write
them
down
or
or
put
them
in
a
different
screen.
If
you
have
one
because
in
a
in
a
minute,
I'm
going
to
get
this
slide
off,
so
we
can
see
each
other's
faces.
N
I
I
don't
know
if
that's,
if
you
have
one
screen,
you
might
not
be
able
to
so
with
with
introductions.
We
have
some
prompting
questions,
and
this
is
just
a
fun
opportunity
to
get
to
know
each
other
a
little
bit
so
for
the
new
members.
If
this
is
your
first
full
meeting
a
couple
questions
for
you
to
consider
answering
in
your
introduction
is
obviously
your
name
and
what
ward,
but
then
also
we're
interested
to
hear.
What
are
you
most
looking
forward
to
or
hope
to
achieve
on
the
committee?
N
What
brought
you
to
the
vac
and
then,
if
you
have
a
favorite
place,
you
like
to
ride
some
of
your
best
experiences
or
your
least
favorite
place
to
ride
in
minneapolis,
and
why
so?
Those
are
a
few
of
the
questions
and
you
know
we
don't
want
this
to
take
like
we
don't
want
like
five
minutes
for
everybody.
N
So
maybe,
like
you
know
a
minute
or
two,
each
person,
I
mean
I'll
kind
of
I'll
run
through
it
first,
just
to
show
how
fast
I
think
we
could
do
this
just
to
get
through
and
then
the
returning
members
legacy
members.
However,
you
want
to
say
that
what
has
been
your
favorite
part
of
being
on
the
committee
and
if
there's
something
that
you
are
proud
of,
that
the
bac
has
helped
accomplish
in
your
time.
Please
share
that.
N
We're
also
interested
in
what
originally
brought
you
to
the
bac
or
have
you
reapply
or
you
know
all
of
those
things
and
then
also,
if,
if
you're
interested
in
reaching
out
to
some
of
the
new
members
over
the
next
couple
months,
just
check
in
see
how
some
of
the
new
members
are
doing.
Please
please
vocalize
that,
and
let
people
know
that
you're
interested
in
that
we
thought
that
might
be
a
good
way
to
build
relationships
between
between
new
members
and
and
returning
members
and
then
also
where
do
you
like
to
ride?
N
I
manage
the
pac
and
bac
with
the
awesome
team
of
milson
and
chris
I'm
in
the
transportation,
planning
and
programming
division
of
public
works
and
I'm
going
to
share
our
all
the
different
divisions
we
have
in
public
works
in
a
little
bit.
I'm
also
the
voting
member.
You
know
from
public
works
as
an
agency
rep
I've
been
here
five
and
a
half
years.
N
I
love
my
job
and
this
is
one
of
my
favorite
parts
of
it
connecting
you
know
the
advisory
committees
and
the
advocates
and
kind
of
what
people
are
saying
and
wanting
for
walking
and
biking
connecting
all
that
to
folks
in
public
works
and
trying
to
help
get
cool
things
done
with
you,
and
you
know
for
you,
so
I
guess
real
quick.
What
am
I
I'm?
A
returning
member?
Okay,
something
that
the
bac
has
helped
accomplish.
N
I
I
joined
in
2015
and
have
been
really
proud
of
protected
bikeways
over
the
past
five
years,
or
so
I
think
that's
such
a
cool
part
of
where
we've
evolved
for
bikeways
in
minneapolis
and
then
my
favorite
place
to
ride,
I
would
say,
is
which
I
don't
do
as
much
because
I'm
working
from
home,
but
taking
different
routes
home
to
check
out
different
projects
that
are
either
being
built
or
we
might
build
soon.
So
that's
those
are
my
favorite
places
to
ride
in
minneapolis.
N
M
Hey
so
I
am
aaron
shafer.
I
wrote
out
some
of
these
answers
here
so
pull
these
over,
but
I
am
in
ward
8.
I
live
in
the
kingfield
neighborhood.
I
really.
D
M
Excited
to
to
be
part
of
the
bicycle
advisory
committee
I
applied
because
I
wanted
to
represent
ward
8
residents
and
specifically
to
help
give
a
voice.
I
work
at
a
nonprofit
that
helps
people
experiencing
homelessness
with
addiction,
etc,
etc,
and
I
really
wanted
to
help
give
those
folks
a
voice
in
the
areas
they
walk
or
bike
in
to
get
to
places.
M
Many
of
them
can't
afford
to
own
a
car,
so
biking,
walking
busing
are
their
options,
and
so,
but
one
of
the
things
then
that
I've
been
really
happy
to
to
have
done
is
having
just
being.
D
M
Of
this
committee
having
a
hand
in
helping
shape,
bicycle
and
even
pedestrian
safety
in
neighborhoods
through
minneapolis,
and
then,
if
I
had
to
pick
one
thing
that
came
to
mind
that
I'm
proud
of
what
we
did
and
what
public
works
staff
put
together
is
the
whittier
windale
bikeway
that's
coming
next
year,
and
so
what
I
said
for
my
favorite
place
to
bike
is
the
cedar
lake
trail
to
downtown
minneapolis
if
it
ever
opens
again
and
then,
but
I'm
also
really
looking
forward
to
trying
out
the
new
lindale
whittier
bikeway
and
just
how
seeing
how
it
works,
because
I
suspect
that
that's
going
to
be
the
model
we
base
a
lot
of
future
bikeways
on
my
least
favorite
place
to
bike
is
any
unprotected
bike
lane
in
winter.
N
K
F
Hi,
so
I'm
dan
booty,
I
live
in
the
longfellow
neighborhood.
I
am
the
agency
rep
or
liaison
for
the
police
department.
F
F
So
I'm
back
it's
good
to
see
all
of
you,
my
favorite
part
of
being
on
the
committee
just
hearing
about
some
of
the
projects
actually
and
helping
or
hearing
about
nice
ride
and
that
sort
of
advocacy
and
yeah
getting
more
involved
with
some
of
the
projects
going
on,
because
otherwise
I
wouldn't
really
hear
about
a
lot
of
them.
F
What
brought
me
to
the
bac
my
neighbor,
emily
smoke
brought
me
a
bit
ago.
She
suggested
that
I
join
so.
That
was
why
I
came,
and
I
love
to
bike,
of
course,
and
like
everybody
here,
my
favorite
place
to
bike
in
minneapolis
or
best
experience.
F
I
really
like
going
across
the
number
nine
bridge
and
catching
the
sunset
there
and
early
in
the
pandemic,
going
for
bike
rides
with
a
buddy
down
across
the
number
nine
through
the.
U
up
to
the
state.
Fairgrounds
was
a
lot
of
fun
and
least
favorite
coming
down
the
marshall
hill.
I
really
don't
like
that.
There's
a
lot
of
traffic
I
don't
like
in
that
area
and
then
biking
around
seward
with
all
of
the
semis
parked
everywhere.
I
also
dislike
my
parents
live
over
there,
so
it's
tough
to
bring
the
kids
that
way.
N
K
Right,
I
love
that
dan
picked
a
st
paul
example
for
what
you
don't
like.
So
I
appreciate
that
brie.
X
Okay,
hi
I'm
brie
witcraft.
This
is
my
first
full
bac
meeting.
I
represent
ward
12
and
live
in
the
erickson
neighborhood.
X
X
He
and
I
all
live
like
two
blocks
away
from
each
other,
so
he
was
really
nice
and
we
socially
distanced
on
my
backyard
deck
and
talked
about
the
bac.
So
he
had
only
good
things
to
say
about
all
of
you
so
excited
to
work
with
everyone
favorite
place
to
bike.
I
would
say
I
really
love
west
river
parkway
and
anytime.
I
get
to
cross
the
mississippi
river.
It's
just
really
nice
to
get
in
those
views.
X
X
So
yeah,
like
my
brain,
wants
to
love
it,
and
my
body
is
alarm
alarm,
but
yeah,
looking
forward
to
working
with
everyone,
hi.
N
Thanks
bree,
we
excited
to
talk
about
our
evolving
thoughts
around
protected
intersections
with
bikeways
and
and
what
we've
learned
about
the
washington
example.
I.
K
I
hear
you're
gonna
agree
dan
miller.
Y
Hi
everyone.
This
is
kind
of
an
interesting
view.
I'm
I'm
looking
at
a
screen
with
a
bunch
of
theater
seats
and
geez,
that's
kind
of
scary.
I
represent
ward
one
northeast
minneapolis
and
I
live
in
the
windham
park.
Neighborhood
and
I've
been
on
the
bac
more
than
one
term.
Y
So
two
years
plus
I
took
over
for
someone
who
left
and
and
when
I,
the
last
term,
I
was
asked
if
I
would
become
the
vice
chair
for
the
engineering
committee,
and
I
was
kind
of
surprised
by
that
and
said.
Well,
if
you
believe
in
me
I'll
go
ahead
and
do
it.
So
that's
just
a
plug
there
for
you
all
to
think
about
being
on
the
executive
team
and
trying
to
do
something
there.
I
think
it's
been
a
an
interesting
experience.
Y
And
I
want
to
reach
out,
I
want
to
just
say
that
there's
a
lot
that
I'm
open
to
really
being
able
to
meet
with
anybody
phone
call
email.
You
know
you
name
it,
I'm
pretty
easy
to
get
a
hold
of
and
would
love
to
chat.
I
love
to
chat
bikes
and
I
love
to
support
people
to
get
comfortable
with
what's
going
on
here.
So
I'm
I'm
there.
If
you
you
want
to
talk,
let's
see
so
one
other
thing
is.
Y
I
think
that
in
my
two
plus
years
on
the
committee,
I
I
don't
think
I've
made
major
change,
but
I
can
tell
you
I've
done.
Y
My
voice
has
has
created
numerous
minor
changes
and-
and
that's
pretty
impressive
when
you
think
about
it.
So
you
you
do
have
a
role
here
and
you
do
have
a
voice
and
I
think
that
voice
does
get
heard.
So
when
you
see
things
in
your
neighborhood
or
projects
that
you're
familiar
with
it's
worth
speaking
up
and
being
able
to
offer
the
voice
that
you
have
for
me,
it's
being
a
civilian
and
a
bike
rider,
I
I
it's
just
my
raw
experience.
Y
So,
given
that
my
favorite
biking
experiences,
I
I
ride
a
lot
on
the
river.
I
ride
over
bridges,
I,
like
riding
over
bridges-
and
I
like
riding
down
the
you
know
the
different
protected
bikeways
that
we
have
in
the
city
park
and
portland
stand
out.
Y
In
my
mind,
is
just
streets
I
like
to
do
I
like
to
ride
greenways
I
like
to
ride
bike
boulevards
and
see
what
the
heck's
going
on
with
what's
getting
built,
my
least
favorite,
or
one
of
my
least
favorite
areas
that
I
am
primed
to
get
something
done
before
I
leave.
This
group
is
biking
up
central
avenue
between
the
third
avenue
bridge
and
lowry.
So
thank
you.
N
Thanks
dan,
so
that
was
fantastic
and
I
appreciate
everyone-
that's
gone
so
far
and
I
I
counted
and
we
have
23
more
people
and
if
everyone
takes
two
minutes,
that's
that'll
bring
us
to
about
5
30..
So,
let's,
if
everyone
can,
can
we
try
to
do
it
in
about
a
minute
30,
something
like
that
I'll
kind
of
keep
track
and
see
if
we
need
to
adjust
as
we
go.
But
I
just
wanted
to
note
the
time
and
make
sure
we
get
through
everything.
R
Hi,
I'm
I'm
deanna,
I
represent
ward
7.,
I'm
I'm
not
a
mute.
Am
I
can.
K
V
I
am,
I
am
from
ward
5.,
north
minneapolis.
V
V
N
Thanks
georgiana
and
what
I
would
I
so
we
appreciate
that
that
was
quick.
That
was
about
a
minute
and
the
last
time.
The
last
time
I'm
gonna
talk
about
this.
What
I'll
do
is
I'll,
just
raise
my
hand
when
it's
about
a
minute,
thirty,
okay,
so
deanna.
Would
you
like
to
say:
hi,
hey.
R
R
For
me,
I
love
to
to
do
the
cedar
lake
trail,
taking
me
out
to
the
western
suburbs
or
or
gateway
taking
me
up
to
stillwater,
so
I'm
a
recumbent
rider,
I
am
a
long
wheelbase,
two-wheel,
recumbent,
writer
and
and
so
starting
from
home
is
always
better
for
me,
and
then
I
also
ride
often
with
the
hiawatha
bike
club
and
certainly
hope
to
share
all
the
exciting
things
that
are
going
on
and
even
in
this
by
third
meeting,
there's
a
lot
of
exciting
things
going
on
so
look
forward
to
my
next
few
years.
R
P
My
name
is
wes
durham,
he
him
pronouns.
I
have
been
on
the
bac
for
about
four
years,
starting
my
fifth,
I
am
a
planner
with
minneapolis
department
of
community
planning
and
economic
development,
our
long-range
planning
division
that
puts
together
our
2040
comprehensive
plan.
P
I
really
enjoy
being
on
the
bac
because
I
feel
like
it
really
adds
to
my
knowledge
of
the
way
that
all
of
the
land
use
and
transportation
systems
interact
with
the
city.
I
feel
like
I
get.
Maybe
I
get
a
lot
in
that
way.
A
Hey
everybody
alyssa.
I
already
said
she
her
hers,
I'm
the
ward
9
committee
rep.
I
joined
the
bac
in
2016.
A
and
I
did
that
after
being
hit
by
an
suv
while
bicycling
in
2015,
which
was
like
a
life-changing
event
for
me
personally
and
also
made
me
really
want
to
figure
out.
How
do
I
contribute
to
creating
creating
a
city
where
it's
you
know
people
aren't
getting
hit
by
cars
while
biking,
so
that
was
what
prompted
me
to
join
the
committee.
A
I
think
there's
a
couple
things
that
we've
done
as
a
group
that
are
very
exciting,
passing
the
transportation
action
plan
and
some
of
the
input
we
had
on
that
like
that,
basically
just
happened
and
has
been
really
exciting
for
me
to
see.
I
also
just
like
one
of
my
favorite
parts
about
the
committee
is:
is
the
5e
subcommittee
and
the
really
in-depth
discussions
that
we
have
there?
A
I
would
love
to
connect
with
new
members.
I
think
everybody
has
my
cell
phone
number.
It's
in
it's
in
the
signature
of
my
email,
so
feel
free
to
get
in
touch
anytime.
A
One
of
my
favorite
places
to
bike
is
26th
and
28th
here
in
ward
9,
because
I
got
to
be
part
of
the
like
community
feedback
process
when
those
used
to
be
three
lane
streets
all
the
way
front
to
end
and
then
now
they
are
now
there's
a
protected
bike
right
there.
So
that's
really
cool
and
I
have
a
love-hate
relationship
with
the
franklin
avenue
hill
that
leads
up
into
st
paul
back.
When
I
was
commuting
to
work,
I
had
to
ride
that
every
day.
Z
I'll
just
turn
on
my
video
here:
oh
I'll,
try
to
anyway
turn
camera
on
anyway.
Yeah
I'm
eating
into
my
minute
and
30
seconds
here
and
sorry
I
signed
on
late.
I
had
it
showed
up
as
canceled
today
for
some
reason
on
my
calendar,
not
sure
why,
but
so
I
guess
we're
introducing
ourselves
to
the
new
members
right,
yeah,
okay,
so
I
I
lead
bicycle
transportation
planning
at
the
med
council.
Z
I've
been
on
the
committee
since
around
216
or
so
and
at
that
time,
and
that
was
soon
after
matthew
joined
the
city.
I
was
developing,
what's
known
as
the
regional
bicycle
transportation
network,
with
the
help
of
a
consultant
study,
and
so
I
work
on
major
regional
bicycle
network
studies
and
plans
and
matthew's
helping
me
with
one.
You
know
we're
working
on
right
now
as
well,
so
I
enjoy
working
with
the
committee,
and
I
guess
I
don't
know
my
faith.
I
have
a
lot
of
favorite
places.
S
Hello,
my
name
is
samuel.
Ferg
representing
the
13th
ford
live
in
the
armitage
neighborhood.
S
I
joined
the
bac
because
I
just
want
to
see
a
more
access
and
and
safer
bikeways
for
from
minneapolis,
and
my
favorite
place
to
ride
is
right
here
in
the
southwest
I
like
to
ride
around
the
lakes,
but
specifically
lake
harriet
I'll,
do
a
couple
laps
and
then
and
head
back
home.
So.
C
Hi
everybody,
I'm
millicent
flowers,
I
work
with
matthew
and
chris
at
public
works,
transportation,
planning
and
programming,
and
we
staff
the
bac
all
together
and
I
was
introduced
to
the
bac
when
I
started
working
for
this
division
and
it's
been
really
interesting
and
enlightening
to
see
how
how
much
influence
the
bac
has
on
all
the
projects
that
come
up
and
just
to
see
the
improvements
gone
on
in
the
city
in
the
last
30
years,
and
a
lot
of
it
is,
I
think,
credited
to
the
bac
and
the
work
they've
done
with
talking
about
things
and
going
to
the
community
and
trying
to
let
trying
to,
I
won't
say
force,
but
speaking
to
the
council
and
and
keeping
them
on
their
toes.
C
So
I
really
enjoy
this
group.
I've
learned
a
lot.
It's
real
interesting
and
my
favorite
place
to
bike
in
minneapolis.
Unfortunately,
I
don't
live
in
minneapolis
anymore,
but
I
still
really
love
the
midtown
greenway.
It's
just
a
straight
shot
from
the
lakes
to
the
river,
and
it's
great
and
awesome.
You
can
do
a
lot
of
stuff
between
one
end
and
the
other,
and
my
least
favorite
place
to
bike
is
probably
on
any
street
in
minneapolis
and
hopefully
we
can.
L
Hi
everybody
I'm
robin
garwood.
I
live
in
the
cooper
neighborhood
in
greater
longfellow.
I
use
he
him
pronouns
and
I
work
for
council
member
cam
gordon,
who
represents
word
two,
and
I
am
the
council's
rep
and
have
been
the
council's
rep
the
whole
time
this
iteration
of
the
bac
has
existed.
I
actually
predate
the
bac
as
it
currently
is
in
terms
of
the
stuff
that
we've
been
able
to
accomplish.
L
L
I
think
is
probably
you
know:
it's
there's
a
lot
of
competition,
but
I
think
maybe
the
dinky
town
greenway,
which
includes
bridge
nine,
that
dan
talked
about
partly
just
because,
like
I
kind
of
feel
like
I
did
it,
and
so
when
I'm
writing
it,
I
feel
like
oh
yeah,
we
did
so
great
least
favorite
place
to
ride,
probably
just
any
of
the
four
lane
roads
that
don't
have
any
protector
any
bike
facility
on
them,
so
lake
by
my
house
or
east
hennepin,
and
I
would
be
thrilled
to
chat
with
anybody.
L
B
Hello:
everyone
heather
gillick
here
with
the
minneapolis
health
department-
that's
how
I
ended
up
on
the
bac
a
little
over
a
year
ago,
I
used
the
the
she
suite
she
her
hers
and
I
live
in
war
10
here
in
minneapolis.
B
I
think
my
kind
of
favorite
part
of
being
on
this
bac
and
being
in
this
space,
really
is
being
able
to
explore
the
areas
where
the
bill's
environment
and
bicycling
impact
our
public
health
work
and
then
also
being
able
to
bring
that
public
health
approach
and
the
work
of
my
colleagues
and
my
team
into
this
space
as
well,
and
to
take
the
passion
and
the
perspectives
of
this
group
back
to
our
work
at
the
health
department
as
well
to
explore
that
intersection.
B
My
favorite
places
to
bike
road
wise.
I
am
a
big
fan
of
the
greenway
because
I
live
very
close
to
the
greenway
and
it's
also
a
delightful
place
where
I
can
put
my
small
dog
in
a
basket
and
take
him
for
an
adventure
ride,
I'm
also
partial
to
riding
toward
theo
worth,
as
I
also
like
to
kind
of
rip
a
mountain
bike
around
and
I've
taken
the
pandemic
times
to
become
much
better
at
bunny
hopping
over
things.
AA
Hi
everyone
I'm
matthew,
hendricks
and
I
use
he
him
pronouns
and
I
live
in
ward
6
in
the
seward
neighborhood
and
my
favorite
place
to
bike.
I
think
recently
was
the
west
river
parkway,
the
parkway
itself,
when
it
was
closed
over
the
summer
to
motor
vehicles
due
to
covet
was
it
was
amazing
and
really
nice
to
be
able
to
spread
out
a
little
least
favorite
place
would
be
probably
lake
as
it
goes
under
hiawatha,
and
that
kind
of
that
intersection
is
really
rough
to
try
to
navigate.
AA
I
would
definitely
be
available
as
a
resource
if
people
have
any
questions,
I've
been
on
one
iteration
or
other
of
the
bac
since
about
2008,
with
a
small
break
in
there
a
two
year
break,
and
I
started
to
get
involved
just
because
I
saw
so
much
potential
minneapolis
has
so
many
great
resources
in
terms
of
bike
infrastructure,
and
that
means
that
every
new
street
we
build
or
every
new
bike
lane
or
bike
trail.
AA
G
Okay,
mute
all
right,
my
name
is
janice
kepner.
I
guess
she
her
pronouns,
I'm
one
of
the
park
board.
Citizen
reps
and
I
joined
the
bac
almost
exactly
10
years
ago,
when
the
current
membership
was
established.
G
A
few
people
have
referred
to
the
fact
so
there
had
been,
I
believe,
a
bac
which
was
just
basically
a
staff
person
from
public
works
in
minneapolis
the
park
board
and
whatever
citizens
wanted
to
show
up
and
10
years
ago,
the
membership
was
tightened
up
to
be
what
it
is
now,
which
is
a
member
from
every
ward,
three
park
board,
citizen,
reps
and
then
about
a
dozen
staff
people
from
the
city.
G
At
that
time
I
had
so
10
years
ago
I
was
just
retiring
from
my
job
as
a
high
school
chemistry
teacher,
and
I
was
looking
for
other
things
to
do,
and
so
I
applied
for
a
park
board,
citizen
position
and-
and
that
was
so
that
was
when
I
started,
and
for
most
of
that
time
I've
been
the
secretary
I
should
say
to
the
new
members,
I'm
very
delighted.
G
If
somebody
else
wants
to
be
secretary,
I
would
do
everything
I
could
to
help
you,
but
if
no
one
else
wants
to
do
it,
I
feel
like
that's
my
contribution
to
the
bac,
so
I'm
happy
to
contribute
in
that
way,
and
actually
my
favorite
thing
about
the
bac
is
the
way
we
represent.
G
So
many
different
divisions
in
the
city
to
see
people
from
so
many
different
departments,
and
but
what
we
all
have
in
common
is
we
care
about
biking
working
together
is,
is
my
favorite
part,
so
I'd
say
my
well.
I
guess
I
used
up
my
time
right.
Is
that
what
you're
telling
me
matthew
and
just
to
say,
I'm
available
to
help
new
members
or
answer
questions
at
any
time?
Thanks.
K
Great
thanks,
janice
john.
T
I
use
he
him
pronouns
and
move
minneapolis
we're
a
non-profit
traffic
or
transportation
management
organization
who
work
with
downtown
employers,
employees
and
downtown
residents
on
sustainable
transportation,
so
obviously
biking
and
in
pedestrian
safety
is
a
key
concern,
and
one
of
my
favorite
things
about
the
bac
is
is
getting
this
wonderful,
wonderful
view
of
all
the
projects
that
are
taking
place
through
public
works,
the
city
through
the
county,
all
the
the
tremendous
initiatives,
the
vision,
zero,
tap,
complete
streets
and
being
able
to
capture
that
information
and
be
able
to
provide
that
for
the
people
that
are
using,
especially
bikes
and
pedestrians,
to
get
into
and
out
of
downtown
in
a
sustainable
way.
T
My
I
live
in
hopkins.
My
favorite
bike
trip
is
probably
the
cedar
lake
trail,
although
it's
a
little
bit
chopped
up
right
now.
I
do
like
to
take
other
routes
too,
especially
if
there's
a
brewery
involved,
and
there
are
several
so
that's
kind
of
a
nice
thing,
but
the
worst
part
about
the
the
worst
area
is
my
first
couple
of
blocks
from
downtown
in
getting
out,
and
so
that's
it's
improving.
That's
a
good
thing.
T
N
John
jordan.
AB
AB
AB
Oh
sure
yeah,
so
I
I
I
help
facilitate
our
county's
bike
advisory
committee
and
this
group
is
just
really
great.
I
get
a
little
a
lot
of
inspiration
both
from
the
staff
who
are
facilitating,
as
well
as
the
members
and
all
of
your
contributions,
so
it
helps
me
with
new
ideas
to
bring
back
to
our
county
bac.
So
thanks
for
that,
and
in
terms
of
my
favorite
place
to
bike
in
minneapolis
I'll,
say,
west
river
road
just
seems
like
a
classic
fun
bike.
AB
Ride
to
take
the
river
road
down
to
minnehaha
falls,
or
something
like
that.
I
live
in
northeast
minneapolis
and
similar
to
robin
my
least
favorite
would
be
four
lane
undivided
roadways,
particularly
central
avenue,
between
the
river
and
broadway.
It's
it
just
feels
so
stressful
being
on
that.
So
that's
me.
AC
Sure
my
name
is
cadence
hampton
and
or
novak.
I
changed
my
name,
don't
know
how
to
change
it.
In
teams.
I've
tried
I
apologize,
I
use
they
them
pronouns
and
I
presently
work
as
an
urban
planner,
primarily
focused
on
active
transportation.
I
was
really
excited
to
join
the
bac
to
both
be
able
to
look
at
projects
from
my
own
perspective,
but
also
to
learn
from
others,
so
that
I
can
better
able
engage
on
projects
when
I
work
professionally
and
understand
how
other
people
view
different
infrastructure
and
policies.
AC
My
favorite
place
to
bike
within
minneapolis
is
the
victoria
victory
memorial
drive
area,
especially
if
I
pair
that
with
the
owarth
and
my
least
favorite
places
to
bike
are
typically
intersections,
particularly
franklin
and
portland.
I've
had
more
near
misses
there
than
anywhere
else.
I've
biked
in
the
city
and
then
36th
in
the
day,
makaska
parkway,
if
I
am
headed
west.
So
those
are
my
issues
presently
that
I'd
like
to
point
out.
AD
Hi
I'm
chris
cartheizer
with
minneapolis
public
works.
I
help
staff.
The
committee
with
matthew
and
millicent
last
week
was
my
three-year
anniversary
with
the
city
and
I've
been
with
the
bac
for
as
long
in
terms
of
favorite
spot
to
ride.
AD
I've
just
been
enjoying
like
riding
through
neighborhoods,
like
the
space
between
the
arterials,
I
guess
and
just
kind
of
like
cutting
through
the
neighborhood
streets
and
seeing
different
houses,
and
things
like
that
and
one
other
thing
I
wanted
to
do
was
give
a
shout
out
to
philip
music,
who
my
first
job
out
of
undergrad
was
as
a
green
corps.
AD
Member
and
americorps
member
and
philip
was
like
our
cohort
leader,
so
we'd
meet
with
him
quarterly,
and
that
was
kind
of
my
first
one
of
the
first
people
in
transportation
in
the
twin
cities
who
I
got
to
work
with,
so
it's
kind
of
full
circle
glad
to
have
you
here,
phillip.
I
didn't
get
a
chance,
the
previous
meeting
too,
to
say
that.
Q
Oh
there
we
go
yeah.
Thank
you
chris
and
matthew.
Also
yeah,
I
was.
I
was
there
at
the
sort
of
creation
of
the
green
core
active
transportation.
Job
description.
You
two
were
you
two
were
stars,
so
it's
a
thrill.
K
I
Hi
I'm
kyle
larson,
I
use
he
him
pronouns.
I
am
one
of
the
park
board.
Citizen
reps,
I
think
of
the
third
one
to
go
so
far.
So
there's
three
of
us
and
I
got
involved
with
the
bicycle
advisory
committee.
I
think
I
started
in
june
of
this
past
year,
so
it's
been
about
six
or
seven
months
and
I
just
got
involved
because
I
wanted
to
help
promote
bicycling
in
the
city.
I
bike
commute.
I
I
work
out
at
general
mills
out
in
maple
grove,
so
I
well
under
normal
circumstances,
would
be
commuting
by
commuting
out
there.
Let's
see
my
favorite
place
to
ride
would
be
I
love
riding
in
theo
worth.
I
just
went
out
there
fat
biking
last
night,
so
I
took
the
plymouth
plymouth
avenue
all
the
way
out
on
that
nice
protected
bikeway,
which
is
great
and
then
rode
up
theo
for
a
while,
my
least
favorite
place
to
bike
is
washington
avenue
in
the
north
loop.
I
O
Marty,
sorry,
I
was
just
like
whoa
okay,
my
name
is
marty
grimes.
It
says
martha,
michael
by
marty.
I
joined
the
committee
because
jeff
strand
recommended
me:
I'm
also
on
the
shingle
creek
board
and
create
a
community.
O
I
wanted
to
come
to
the
group
because
I
believe
that
we
need
to
involve
our
think
about
our
youth
and
our
seniors.
Also,
so
I'm
trying
to
get
get
more
people
involved.
It
should
be
for
everybody
able-bodied
or
not,
and
my
favorite
place
to
bike
is
the
chain
of
lakes
and
the
worst
place.
O
I
like
the
bike
is
trying
to
bike
from
camden
because
I'm
from
shingoku
camden
ward
4
trying
to
get
down
to
lindell
at
36
and
grand
there
is
like
it's
like
a
cut
off
between
north
and
south
side,
and
I
hate
that.
So
that's
probably
my
and
I'm
also
a
teacher.
I
teach
youth,
oh
and
also
jim
borden
is
my
mentor.
AE
Well,
hi
everybody,
my
name
is
maya
shaikh.
I
live
and
represent
ward
11..
I'm
looking
forward
to
getting
to
learn
from
all
of
you,
and
I
also
have
nick
mason
to
thank
for
getting
me
on
the
vac
and
I
love
to
bike
on
minnehaha
a
lot.
J
My
first
meeting
nice
to
meet
you
guys,
you
all
excuse
me.
I
am
jamie
neldner,
I'm
with
the
minneapolis
park
board,
I'm
the
park
board
staff
rep.
So
I'm
taking
your
beloved
tyler's
position.
I've
heard
he
gave
me
a
kind
of
past
the
torch
on
friday
and
he
shared
how
much
he
loved
being
a
part
of
this
team
and
I'm
really
looking
forward
to
it.
I
use
he
him.
Pronouns
I've
been
in
the
recreation
department
about
26
years,
so
I
have
a
different
perspective
than
tyler.
J
Tyler
is
more,
you
know,
planner
and
developing
pathways
and
trails,
and
I'm
more
programming,
those
pathways
and
trails
and
so
I'll
be
bringing
a
different
park
and
rec
kind
of
experience
to
to
the
team
so
I'll
piggyback.
What
marty
just
kind
of
mentioned,
I'm
more
the
programming
side,
so
I
also
hope
to
make
relationships
and
and
build
that
programming
side
with
young
people
and
seniors
and
get
them
more
access
and
resources
to
use
bicycles
and
trails,
maybe
that
that
they've
never
never
used
before
that's
right
out
their
back
door.
J
So
I
am
not
a
super
confident
cyclist.
So
my
least
favorite
I'll
start
with
my
least
my
least
favorite
spot
to
ride.
My
bike
is
on
the
streets
and
my
favorite
place
to
bike
is
probably
the
channel
lakes
and
minnehaha
parkway.
I
live
in
the
powderhorn
park
neighborhood.
So
that's
the
closest
access
for
me
to
hop
on
out
up,
on
a
trail
being
a
very
entry-level
cyclist.
So
it's
a
pleasure
to
be.
Q
Thank
you,
matthew.
Well,
hello,
everyone,
philip
music.
I
represent
ward
two
and
I
have
the
the
good
fortune
to
be.
I've
left
my
full-time
work
with
cities
across
minnesota
in
in
may,
and
robin
and
cam
put
out
a
notice
that
there
was
an
opening
on
the
bac
and
I've
been
a
lifelong
bicyclist
started
bicycling
in
los
angeles,
which
is
a
kind
of
a
hellish
place
to
to
bicycle.
So
minneapolis
is
lovely.
Q
My
favorite
gosh,
my
favorite
biking
is
you
know,
probably
the
greenway
down
the
bryant
bryant
avenue
to
see
see
a
friend
down
by
by,
like
harriet,
gosh
least
favorite
yeah,
washington,
avenue,
yeah
dan,
I'm
here
near
the
in
st
paul,
the
the
lake
street,
the
marshall
avenue
hill.
You
know
coming
down,
yeah,
don't
don't
love
that
fat
biking,
fat,
biking
down
the
minnesota
river
has
been
great
and
I'd
say
I
look
forward.
Q
You
know
most
to
sort
of
finding
ways
and
promoting
and
pushing
how
bicycling
can
help
create
this
more.
You
know
complete
compact,
connected
city,
you
know
this.
We
so
bicycling
and
bike
design
is
part
of
you
know:
designing
our
urban
spaces
as
healthier
places
happier
places
connected
places.
So
that's
my
interest
in
being
here
great
great
to
be
here.
E
Hey
good
evening,
everyone,
my
name
is
arman
regie
and
I
am
the
metro,
transit
rep
temporarily,
but
indefinitely
taking
over
from
tony
drellinger's
position
and
I'm
a
planner
in
the
engineering
facilities
department
at
metro
transit.
My
favorite
place
to
bike
is
probably
kind
of
piggyback
off
of
jamie
the
channel
lakes.
AF
So
before
this
iteration
and
I'm
actually
quite
proud
of
the
work
that
those
of
us
who
were
here
before
put
in
to
change
this
to
more
of
a
citizens
community,
instead
of
staff,
pretty
much
telling
the
citizens
what
to
do-
and
I
will
I'm
a
resident
of
the
whittier
neighborhood,
and
so
my
favorite
place
to
bike,
would
be
that
dinky
town,
greenway
and
bridge
nine
and
my
least
favorite-
is
the
bryant
avenue
bike
boulevard
north
of
lake
street.
It's
an
unsafe,
it's
an
unsafe
condition,
and
so
I've
been
here
a
long
time.
AF
My
attitude
is
to
stay
out
of
the
way
and
let
the
people
who
are
truly
inspired
do
things
and
only
get
in
the
way.
If
I
find
a
problem
with
it
and
as
matt
can
say,
I
don't
tend
to
try
and
get
in
the
way
of
you
guys.
N
Definitely
we
appreciate
you
jesse.
H
Hi
I'm
jesse
thornson.
I
am
the
minnesota
department
of
transportation
agency
rep.
I
am
a
ped
bike,
planner
in
the
metro
district
office.
H
I've
been
on
this
committee
for
about
six
months
now
took
over
for
mackenzie,
not
her
job
just
position
here,
she's
still
here,
she's
still
up
in
that
what
I
like
being
about
on
the
committee,
I
enjoy
just
seeing
each
of
the
projects
that
are
being
developed
and
hopefully
trying
to
take
them
also
to
the
next
level
and
then
eventually
having
minneapolis,
be
the
best
bike.
H
Bicycling
city
in
the
in
north
america,
maybe
eventually
favorite
place
to
bike
in
minneapolis,
probably
stone
arch
bridge
in
the
morning,
seeing
the
the
sunrise
reflect
off
the
buildings
and
then
in
the
evening,
listening
to
people
playing
music
or
just
having
conversations.
H
I'm
I'm
ashamed
to
say
this.
My
least
favorite
place
to
bike
is
probably
central
avenue,
which
is
a
mndot
roadway,
but
hopefully
being
at
mndot
and
being
here
and
this
committee.
I
can
hopefully
help
do
something
about
that
great.
N
Thank
you,
and
there
is
a
phone
number
I
can't
remember,
do
we
know
who
that
is.
Oh,
if
somebody
hasn't
gone
and
would
like
to.
AG
Q
AG
Work
in
thanksgiving,
I
work
in
safe
routes
to
school,
so
it's
a
it's
a
great
fit
and
I've
been
on
a
while,
maybe
five-ish
years
I
took
over
for
my
beloved
colleague
roy
hellinger
when
he
passed
away
one
of
the
things
I
love
being
about
the
com
being
on
the
committee
is
there's
just
this
room
or
screen
full
of
really
smart
people
that
dig
deep
into
all
the
documents
and
then
they
come
so
prepared
and
it's
really
kind
of
exciting
to
watch
the
dreams
that
are
bigger
than
what
is
first
presented
on
on
paper.
AG
So
it's
it's!
It's
awesome,
my
I'll
start
with
my
least
I
also
am
longing
for
a
good
north
side.
South
side
connection,
I
live
by
lindale
school,
but
I
work
on
plymouth
avenue
in
north
minneapolis
and
I've
tried
every
route
and
none
of
them
are
great.
My
favorite,
I'm
gonna
just
go
with
a
bikini
experience,
I'm
kind
of
longing
for
I
love
night
biking
so
a
summer
night
with
friends
taking
over
the
road
on
a
residential
street.
That's
one
of
my
favorite
things.
K
N
I
think
we
have
time
to
go
through
this
at
a
normal
pace,
but
we'll
double
check
as
we
go.
So
I
wanted
to
share
this
fun
facts
page
because
I
I
don't
believe
it
gets.
You
know
it's
probably
a
lonely
public
works
page,
but
it's
helpful
for
orientation
purposes.
So
public
works
as
a
department
is
massive.
We
have
nine
divisions,
so
administration,
surface
water
and
sewer
solid
waste
and
recycling,
water
treatment
and
distribution
fleet
services.
N
So
those
are
all
of
the
non-transportation
divisions
and
that's
not
fully
true,
because
you
know
surface
water
and
sewer,
is
you
know
it's
huge
in
terms
of
transportation
infrastructure?
You
know
that
you
see
in
transportation
anyway,
but
then
there's
four
specific
transportation.
Divisions
of
public
works
you'll
most
often
interact
with
my
division,
which
is
there
at
the
bottom
transportation,
planning
and
programming.
N
We
have
a
bunch
of
planners
in
that
division
and
then
our
engineers
are
mostly
in
the
other
three
divisions.
So
we
have
transportation,
engineering
and
design
and
that's
the
division
that
basically
once
once
the
projects
that
you
see
get
through
city
council
and
we
sort
of
agree
on
a
lot
of
the
basics
of
what
the
street
will
look
like.
You
know
whether
or
not
there's
a
bike
lane
is
it
protected?
N
You
know:
are
there
sidewalks?
How
wide
are
all
of
those
elements?
How
many
travel
lanes?
You
know
things
like
that,
then
the
and
the
ted,
transportation,
engineering
and
design
team
takes
that
and
then
figures
out
all
of
the
engineering
details
and
there's
a
lot,
obviously
in
designing
streets
and
then-
and
each
of
these
divisions
do
a
lot
more
than
I'll
cover
in
this
short
intro
I'll.
Just
give
some
of
the
highlights.
N
So
then,
there's
traffic,
parking
and
services
and
that's
kind
of
you
know,
could
be
two
divisions
in
one,
so
traffic
think
of
like
traffic
operations,
and
you
know
making
sure
all
the
divisions
flow
well
through
through
our
streets,
so
walking
biking,
transit
and
driving.
They
manage
all
the
traffic
signals
and
striping
and
those
types
of
things,
and
then
parking
obviously
manages
all
the
parking
issues
in
minneapolis
and
then
trans
transportation,
maintenance
and
repair.
N
N
The
type
of
I
guess:
maintenance
projects
that
lengthen
the
life
of
our
streets
so
resurfacing,
which
is
you
know,
basically
grinding
the
top
two
inches
and
putting
it
back
down
smooth
to
extend
the
life
of
the
street
and
then
seal
coats,
which
again
I
don't
know
how
to
how
to
explain
that.
But
that's
where
the
little
pet
rock
pebbles
you'll
see
that
get
placed
to
also
extend
extend
the
life
of
it.
So
those
are
the
that's
a
little
bit
about
the
divisions.
N
I
was
noticing
that
some
of
these
fun
facts
that
we
have
there
are
out
of
date.
So
maybe
that's
something
that
we
should
do.
But
you
know
in
public
works.
We
manage
a
lot
of
different
things.
Interestingly,
you
know
we
say
we
have
411
bridges,
I
mean
that's
a
lot.
I
mean
that's
just
wild
21
billion
gallons
of
clean
water,
a
thousand
miles
of
streets,
end
of
water
pipes,
so
you
know
just
a
lot
of
different
things.
N
I
wanted
to
to
share
a
little
bit
of
that,
so
moving
on,
I
think
we
covered
staffing
a
little
bit
the
purpose
of
the
committee.
The
thing
that
I
want
to
highlight
here,
which
which
I
think
is
really
important,
is
that
the
bac
functions
to
advise
the
mayor
city
council
on
projects
as
well
as
park
board,
and
then
we
also
add
you
know
county
mndot,
maybe
a
school
district.
N
You
know
other
other
things
like
that,
and
my
note,
that's
not
in
the
formal
documents
is
that
formal
resolutions
that
you
pass
that
are
that
are
clear
and
concise
and
tell
us
what
you're
thinking
is.
Is
such
an
it's
such
an
important
part
of
the
the
bac,
because
that's
what
the
elected
officials
see?
That's
what
my
directors
see
in
project
managers,
and
so
I
think
that's
that's,
just
really
helpful
to
have
those
resolutions
I
just
wanted
to
highlight.
N
You
know
we
heard
through
all
of
the
introductions,
but
one
of
the
unique
and
awesome
aspects
of
the
bac
is
the
agency
members,
because
I
just
think
it
adds
a
lot
of
depth
and
coordination
to
the
conversations,
and
I
think
one
thing
that
I
just
appreciate
of
all
the
actual
people
that
represent
these
agencies
is
they
just
seem
to
be
great
people
that
that
care
and
want
to
help,
and
so
I
just
think,
that's
a
really
important
part
of
this.
N
The
way
this
is
structured,
not
all
of
the
city's
advisory
committees,
have
this
type
of
structure.
So
I
just
think
it's
cool
a
couple
different
things.
If
you're
looking
for
information,
if
you're
new
minneapolis
limbs
so
legislative
information
management
system
is
one
good
way
to
find
information
about
the
agenda,
so
I
just
want
to
go
through
that
real
quick.
N
You
know
you
can
it's
limbs,
minneapolis.gov
or
just
I
often
just
google
minneapolis
limbs,
and
this
comes
up
and
there's
a
tab
up
here-
calendar
agendas.
Then
you
click
that
and
then
there's
boards
and
commissions.
N
So
you
click
that,
and
I'm
not
expecting
you
to
like
remember
this,
but
if
you,
if
you
need
any
help
with
this,
let
me
know,
and
then
you
can
break
down
under
boards
and
commissions,
which
again
is
here.
You
can
go
to
the
bac
either
the
full
committee
meeting
or
the
subcommittees
and
then
from
there.
You
can
pull
up
the
agenda
for
today,
for
example,
and
there's
a
way.
This
is
how
the
members
of
the
public
can
can
engage
as
well
on
the
phone
and
to
view
the
agenda.
N
So
that's
really
important
for
especially
for
public
access
and
then,
if
you
just
you
happen
to
be
looking
for
minutes
or
other
committees
and
then
the
second
thing
I
want
to
show
is
public
works,
manages
our
page,
a
bicycle
advisory
committee
page
as
well,
and
you
may
want
to
go
there
for
two
reasons:
one
just
the
basic
information
of
the
committee
is
there,
so
you
can
see
our
bylaws
our
membership,
you
can
see
when
the
meetings
are,
but
the
main
thing
is
we
added
this
function
here,
where
you
can
see
every
resolution
that
has
been
passed
and
this
we
added
a
few
years
ago,
and
I
think
it's
really
helpful
because
if
you're,
if
you're
interested
in
like
gosh,
I
remember
we,
we
passed
something
about
the
street
design
guide.
N
But
I
can't
remember
you
know
you
can
you
can
come
here
and
it's
just
a
one
click.
You
know
your
pdf
and
you
can
see
the
resolution
and
just
as
it
was
passed,
so
I
think
that's
helpful.
I
use
it
all
the
time
for
that
purpose.
N
N
So
if
you
really
like
the
engineering
and
the
details
of
the
projects,
you
know
maybe
pick
the
engineering
subcommittee
or,
if
you
like,
the
higher
level
policy,
you
know
creative
like:
where
do
we
want
to
go
as
a
committee,
the
5b?
It
might
be
more
appropriate
and
of
course
you
are
welcome
and
we
have
members
that
attend
each
of
the
committees,
which
is
fantastic
as
well.
N
So
I
just
want
to
talk
a
little
bit
about.
Actually,
I
guess
you
know
the
oops,
sorry
the
we're
going
to
have
the
existing
cultures
talk
about
the
subcommittee,
so
I
don't
actually
I'm
just
going
to
skip
this
one
for
now,
so
maybe
now's
a
good
time
for
we'll
say
alyssa
as
our
vice
chair
dan
miller
as
the
iranian
chair
of
engineering
and
then
I
guess,
alyssa
also
as
the
chair
of
the
5b
subcommittee.
Do
you
just
want
to
tell
the
committee
a
little
bit
more
information
about
the
committees.
A
Yeah,
I
can
jump
in
first
thanks
matthew.
This
has
been
great
so
far.
I
will
try
to
go
quick.
So
I
see
the
things
listed
here
are
agenda
development,
sort
of
interaction
between
the
subcommittee
and
the
full
committee
agendas.
How
agendas
are
developed
so
typically,
what
will
happen
is
the
chair
or
co-chairs
of
subcommittee
will
have
a
phone
conversation
with
chris
as
a
staff
person
to
set
the
agenda
for
a
subcommittee
meeting
chris
might
bring
some
things
to
that
meeting.
A
You
know
and
and
talk
those
through
with
chris
and
see
if
those
are
appropriate
for
an
agenda
we
might
also
have
outside
folks,
for
example,
we
often
will
have
the
folks-
I
guess
it's
lyft
now,
but
formerly
nice
ride
now
owned
by
lyft,
we'll
occasionally
get
in
touch
and
say:
hey
we'd
like
to
be
on
the
agenda,
so
there
will
be
other
folks
who
reach
out
also
to
be
to
ask
to
be
on
an
agenda
we'll
go
through
the
process
of
having
an
agenda
item.
Add
a
subcommittee.
A
Sometimes
the
subcommittee
will
draft
a
resolution.
That's
just
a
draft
that
would
then
come
to
the
full
committee
meeting
other
times.
They
may
not
draft
a
resolution.
There
might
just
be
a
report
out
of
the
information
that
happens
at
the
subcommittee
that
comes
from
the
subcommittee
to
the
full
committee
meeting.
A
If
we
do
bring
forward
a
resolution,
then
there's
an
official
vote
on
that
at
the
full
committee
level
before
that
is
like
approved
and
and
goes
out
and
usually
we'll
have
some
amount
of
editing
that
happens.
In
this
online
era,
we've
been
trying
to
do
a
little
bit
more
pre-editing,
sending
folks
out
draft
information
via
email,
because
drafting
drafting
via
group
was
always
difficult
and
it's
very
difficult
and
time-consuming
online
so
similar
to
the
process
of
how
the
subcommittee
agendas
are
set.
The
executive
team.
A
So
the
chair,
the
committee
chair,
the
committee
vice
chair,
the
secretary
matthew,
millicent
chris
I'll,
get
on
a
phone
call
once
a
month
to
set
the
agenda
for
the
full
meeting
right,
so
that
will
include
those
subcommittee
chairs
who
will
bring
what
their?
A
What
their
committee
report
out
is
so
that
that
group
is
prepared
with
some
information
and
may
include
other
things
that
are
more
time
sensitive
as
well,
sometimes
we'll
see,
for
example,
we've
had
years
where
nice
ride
presents
at
the
5e
subcommittee
other
years,
where
we
need
to
turn
something
around
in
a
two-week
window,
and
so
they'll
come
to
the
full
committee
meeting
matthew.
Does
that
cover
what
you
were
hoping?
I
would
cover.
G
Yes,
I
would
just
say
this
is
janice.
I
just
like
to
make
one
edition.
People
probably
don't
know
what
the
five
e's
means
it
occurs
to
me.
So
there
there
is
there
there.
Originally
when
we
started
there
were
six
e's
and
engineering
is
the
big
one.
So
that's
why
it's
its
own
subcommittee,
but
the
five
e's
that
we
discussed
at
the
other
subcommittee
and
help
me
with
this
education.
A
N
So
evaluation
engagement,
which
we
last
year
the
bac,
voted
to
to
change
out
enforcement
for
engagement.
That
was
in
line
with
some
national
practices
as
well,
and
then
education,
encouragement
and
equity
make
up
the
other
five.
L
N
L
Just
so
janice
brings
up
a
good
point,
just
sort
of
in
general
that
if
we,
if
we
ever
say
something
that
you
don't
understand,
what's
cped,
you
know
any
any
of
that
stuff.
We
we
do
tend
to
get
into
some
jargon.
Sometimes
so,
just
like
call
us
on
it.
D
L
You
know
sometimes
we
just
use
these
shorthands.
So
if,
if
somebody
says
something
that
that
that
you
don't
understand,
that's
not
your
fault,
it's
our
fault,
yep.
K
N
Otherwise,
I
think
the
last
thing
I
want
to
note
is
that
just
to
prepare
everyone
again
for
what
what's
coming
next
month
is,
there
will
be
essentially
seven
positions
that
we
will
or
seven
yeah,
seven
positions
that
we
will
elect.
What
will
happen
is
I
will
start
that
process,
I'm
going
to
pause
for
a
second
dan.
Did
you
have
something
on
the.
Y
Did
you
want
me
to
report
about
the
engineering
subject?
Of
course?
Yes,
thank
you.
I
just
didn't
know
if
you
were
doing
an
interlude
or
not
nope.
Thank
you.
I
forgot
sorry,
okay,
all
right,
so
you
want
me
to
begin
yes,
okay,
all
right.
Y
So
the
engineering
subcommittee
for
the
most
part
reviews
projects
that
are
looking
to
be
constructed
and
we
typically
review
projects
that
are
just
beginning
from
zero
up
to
usually
30
percent
and
after
that
they
go
away,
and
they
you
know,
get
things
ready
to
go
to
the
council
for
approval.
So
it's
important
for
us
to
make
our
comments
before
that
time
and
to
to
see
how
they
go
through.
Y
We
we
write
resolutions
like
the
5e
committee
and
one
of
the
things
that
I
think
is
helpful
attending
the
subcommittees.
Is
it's
a
chance
to
get
you're
going
to
be
able
to
get
more
in
depth
with
the
different
topic
matters
than
like?
When
than
just
repeating
everything
going
to
the
full
committee
meeting?
Y
It's
a
an
abbreviation
of
what
you
would
get
if
you
went
to
the
full
committee
and
an
important
thing
that
is
evolving,
but
it's
fast
evolving
is
on
limbs
the
projects
that
are
coming
before
or
the
yeah
the
projects
that
are
coming
before
the
committee
are
typically
on
there
as
a
link,
and
so
you
can
open
that
up
and
review
the
project
ahead
of
time.
It's
really
really
helpful.
I
really
encourage
it.
Y
Y
Let's
see
the
other
thing
that
I
like
to
do,
and
I'm
going
to
do
it
right
now,
just
for
we
can
hold
it
to
just
a
few
minutes.
If
we
can
is
the
committee
is
bigger
than
a
chair's
voice.
He
typically
the
chair,
presents
what
happened
at
the
subcommittee
to
the
group,
but
at
least
for
me,
I
like
to
offer
that
up
to
the
committee,
because
I
miss
a
lot.
You
know
I'm
only
one
person
and
people
have
a
different
take
on
stuff,
so
regular
committee
members
that
have
attended
these
meetings.
I
I
actually
have
a
quick
question
on
specifically
the
engineering
subcommittee.
How
do
things
get
brought
to
like
what?
How
do
we
decide
which
what
projects
get
looked
at
during
that
subcommittee.
AD
Matthew,
do
you
want
chris
yeah?
I
was
gonna
sure
yeah.
So
that's
a
really
good
question
so
again
chris,
I
I
help
staff,
especially
the
the
subcommittees
and
and
those
those
come
through
from
our
project
managers.
So
so
any
bicycle
related
project
is
go.
Is
it
just
part
of
our
standard
process?
Is
that
that's
gonna
come
through
the
bac?
AD
Often
you'll
see
a
lot
of
our
projects
that
that
don't
have
bicycle
elements
come
through,
maybe
just
once
as
kind
of
a
heads
up,
especially
if,
if
they
have
like
a
it's,
a
pedestrian
benefit
or
something
like
that,
and
then
also
we
ask
our
partners
and
that's
part
of
the
reason
why
we
have
so
many
agency
reps
on
this,
or
at
least
that
helps
kind
of
facilitate
this,
so
mndot
hennepin
county.
The
park
board
met
council
like
as,
as
they
have
work
that's
coming
through.
AD
They
they
reach
out
to
us
and
get
on
those
agendas
as
well,
and
I
also
wanted
to
add
one
one
other
thing
so
for
the
for
those
agendas.
It
really
is
the
chairs:
don't
really
have
a
role
in
setting
those,
it's
more
a
matter
of
just
the
work
that's
coming
coming
down,
and
so
I
I
think
for
any
of
the
new
members
like
if
you,
if
you're
interested
in
cheering
or
co-chairing
either
committee,
definitely
go
for
it
like.
I
think
the
5e
is
accessible.
AD
Also,
if
you're
like
on
the
fence
and
feel
like.
Oh,
what
am
I
getting
into
engineering
is
especially
a
good
one
to
get
into,
because
the
work
kind
of
comes
through
you
kind
of
start
to
get
a
feel
for
how
the
subcommittees
work.
You
can
be
a
part
of
the
executive
call,
so
it
might
be
a
little
bit
of
like
a
softer
introduction
in
some
ways.
So,
but
I
I
don't
want
to
discount
you
from
thinking
about
the
5e
either
which
you
should
definitely
think
about
as
well,
even
as
a
new.
K
K
Dan,
do
you
have
anything
else
on
the
topic.
Y
No,
I
I
I
think
that
concludes
it,
and
I
have
appreciated
working
on
the
committee,
both
of
them.
N
And
you
know
we'll
kind
of
we'll
kind
of
do
some
like
orientation
as
we
go
again,
because
there's
gonna
be
a
lot
of
things
that
that
might
just
you
might
not
know
about,
and
one
of
those
we.
I
realized.
We
said
the
the
words
zero
percent
and
thirty
percent,
and
so
what
that
means
is
every
time
a
road
or
a
street
is
going
to
be
reconstructed.
N
N
It's
a
100
percent
plan
set
fully
fully
designed,
and
it's
like
a
maybe
like
a
half
inch
or
more
thick
document
of
a
really
long
paper,
with
a
lot
of
engineering
details
that
you
probably
never
want
to
look
at,
but
along
the
way
you
know
zero
percent
is
when
we
say
we
know
we're
going
to
construct
the
street
in
a
couple
years,
it's
time
to
start
figuring
out
what
we're
going
to
do,
and
so
that's
when
a
planner
from
our
team
is
assigned
and
then
they'll
bring
it
to
the
engineering
subcommittee
and
basically
just
say,
here's
what
we
know
about
the
project
when
it's
going
to
be
built.
N
What
the
limits
are,
what
we're
thinking
a
little
bit
when
we'll
do
engagement,
that
kind
of
a
thing
and
and
the
the
planner
will
essentially
ask
the
committee.
What
should
we
be
looking
for
as
we
get
started
on
this
and
then
there's
the
whole
process?
It
takes
several
months
and
a
lot
of
its
engagement
data
collection.
N
Just
you
know,
working
working
with
a
council
member
just
a
lot
of
a
lot
of
work,
and
then
we
asked
the
planners
or
project
managers
to
come
back
at
the
30
checkpoint,
which
we
also
call
layout
approval
and
that
basically
is
a
nice
drawing
that
that
basically
shows
what
the
street's
going
to
look
like.
How
many
lanes
are
going
to
be
that
that
type
of
thing
bikeway
type?
N
All
of
that,
and
then
we
asked
city
council
to
give
the
blessing
or
the
approval
to
enter
final
design,
and
then
final
design
is
when
we
ship
it
off
to
our
engineers,
and
then
they
take
care
of
again
all
those
engineering
details
like
what
kind
of
lights
are
there
going
to
be
like
what
pavement
material,
where
the
garbage
cans,
or
you
know
other
things
like
that?
All
of
the
polls
and
everything
you
know.
So
that's
just
a
little
bit
about
about
the
process
and
they
don't
check
in
after
that.
N
Usually
the
last
time
you
see
it
is
that
that
30
phase,
so
yeah
just
wanted
to
to
share
that
I'll
go
quick
here,
so
we
can
get
through
the
rest
of
it.
But
what
I
what
I
want,
I
want
to
say
a
couple
things
about
these
positions,
so
people
can
think
about
it.
So
the
chair,
the
chair
position
again,
we'll
have
seven
that
position
runs.
The
full
committee
meeting
broadly
represents
the
the.
K
N
When
sort
of
needed,
if
there's
a
media
request
or
something
like
that
or
or
typically
it's
also
on
first
point
of
contact
for
me
and
also
I
often
can
delegate
tasks
or
opportunities
to
other
members
of
the
executive
committee
team,
the
vice
chair
is
usually
the
the
main
role
there
is
to
serve
in
the
committee
function
or
you
know
the
chair
function.
N
If
the
chair
is
not
at
the
meeting
and
then
you're
also
on
the
executive
call
a
week
before
the
agenda
secretary,
janus
a
very
important
role
as
well
takes
the
minutes,
saves
and
documents
those
media
minutes
and
then
sends
them
to
staff
when,
when
they're
ready
and
then
again,
we,
I
think
we
covered
the
co-chair
roles
of
the
subcommittees,
and
so
there's
two
for
each
subcommittee
and
and
that
can
that
can
usually
just
sort
of
depend
on
the
the
duties
as
you'd
like
to
do.
It.
A
Matthew,
can
I
just
quick,
add
the
secretary
only
takes
minutes
for
the
full
committee
meetings.
The
subcommittee
chair
and
vice
chair
are
responsible
for
making
sure
that
there
are
some
amount
of
notes
that
come
out
of
the
meetings
and,
if
you're
very
lucky
janice
might
attend
the
meeting
and
offer
to
take
the
notes
for
you.
N
A
Thanks
matthew,
that
was
really
great.
I
think
that
was
a
good
refresher
for
all
of
us
and
I'm
excited
to
see
where
elections
go
next
month.
We
have
two
items
left
on
our
agenda.
It's
the
two
subcommittee
reports,
so
the
5e
subcommittee
report
and
the
engineering
subcommittee
report.
A
Both
of
them
have
actions
one
from
the
5e
subcommittee
and
there's
two
from
engineering,
and
we
are
running
into
the
thing
we
have
run
into
since
the
beginning
of
the
pandemic
and
shifting
to
online,
which
is
that
we're
running
short
on
time
and
trying
to
get
everybody
out
of
here
by
six
o'clock
when
our
meeting
ends
is
going
to
be
tough,
I'm
gonna
put
in
the
chat.
These
are
the
links
that
you
should
have
gotten
via
email
via
the
gov
delivery
email
that
are
the
meeting
notes
for
5es
and
engineering.
A
This
is
a
great
example
of
why
it's
really
helpful
if
you're
able
to
read
those
things
before
the
meeting
meeting,
so
that
you
can
feel
really
prepared
for
discussion,
so
I'm
hoping
that
we
can
really
focus
on
taking
the
actions
that
we
need
to
make
sure
go
through.
Usually
those
are
timely,
and
so,
if
we
just
push
them
off
to
the
february
meeting,
those
aren't
going
to
be
as
impactful.
A
So
it's
important
that
we
get
those
passed
today
and
just
want
to
make
sure
because
we're
in
this
sort
of
confusing
time
where
some
folks
can
vote
and
some
folks
can't
if
folks
have
questions
or
discussion,
it
doesn't
like.
Please
ask
your
questions
participate
in
the
discussion,
even
if
you're
not
going
to
formally
vote
on
on
the
action,
so
I
will
kick
it
off
with
the
with
the
five
e's
action
and
millicent.
Do
you
have
that
up?
Can
you
share
your
screen.
C
A
Thank
you,
melisan
yep.
We
can
see
it
so
this
is
a
draft
motion.
We
looked
at
at
the
five
e's
subcommittee.
A
There
were
two
items
that
came
to
the
5e
subcommittee,
the
upper
harbor
terminal
draft
coordinated
plan,
which
is
like
the
site-wide
plan
for
what's
going
on
with
with
upper
harbor
terminal,
and
then
there
was
the
public
use
and
infrastructure
plan
which
was
about
the
street
design
that
public
works
is
responsible
for.
So
this
is
only
a
resolution
on
that
first
portion.
I
know
that
they
had
indicated
that
they
would
be
coming
to
a
future
committee
meeting
to
give
more
information
on
the
public
roman
infrastructure
plan.
A
So
this
resolution
didn't
cover
that
it
is
largely
the
same
as
the
draft
that
we
that
folks
had
a
chance
to
review
over
email
in
advance.
There
were
a
couple
things
that
folks
did
provide
feedback
on
that
I
added
in
I'm
not
going
to
cover
those
specifically
because
our
we
have
because
we
have
call-in
folks.
We
always
have
to
read
the
whole
draft
resolution
aloud.
So
I'm
going
to
read
the
whole
draft
resolution
aloud
and
that's
going
to
take
enough
time.
G
Can
I
just
before
you
read
it
alyssa
just
one
thing:
the
last
bullet
on
the
see
all
the
bullets,
the
very
last
bullet,
make
it
sound
like
english
design,
safe
streets,
get
rid
of
the
width
and
get
rid
of
the
ass
on
encourage.
G
A
So
janice
that's
a
great
edit
and
that
list
of
bullet
points
is
verbatim
from
the
final
plan
rather
than
ones
that
I
wrote
myself.
So
those
had
been
left
thanks.
I
didn't
look
at
them
terribly
closely
because
they
were
a
copy
paste
cool.
So
I
will
read
this
aloud
and
then
we'll
be
looking
for
somebody
to
second,
the
motion.
Once
I'm
complete
the
minneapolis
bicycle
advisory
committee,
largely
supports
the
changes
to
the
upper
harbor
terminal
draft
coordinated
plan.
A
We
especially
want
to
express
support
and
excitement
for
the
following
strategies
listed
in
page
31
of
the
plan
and
hope
they
will
be
reflected
in
the
final
plan,
as
well
as
the
signed
community
benefits.
Agreement
list
continue
to
work
with
metro
transit
to
expand
new
local,
limited,
stop
and
or
express
service
to
the
upper
harbor
site
continue
to
explore
funding
and
partnership
opportunities
with
mndot
to
reconfigure
the
dowling
avenue
bridge
and
construct
a
new
non-motorized
bridge
across
I-94
build
accessible
pedestrian
and
bike
connections
between
north
side
neighborhoods
and
the
site.
A
However,
the
committee
is
disappointed
that
the
plan
does
not
address
the
role
parking
plays
in
incentivizing
driving
and
especially
opposes
the
420
stall
parking
ramp
on
parcel
7a,
with
586
parking
stalls
identified
in
the
plan
and
several
other
potential
parking
uses
in
the
proposal
likely
to
increase
this
number.
The
plan,
in
its
current
form,
continues
to
provide
incredible
incentives
for
driving
to
comply
with
the
complete
streets
policy,
the
transportation
action
plan
and
the
city's
climate
action
plan,
as
well
as
the
city's
declared
climate
emergency.
A
The
city
should
remove
the
vast
majority
of
this
parking
from
the
plan
retaining
parking
for
people
with
disabilities
as
well
as
redouble
its
effort
to
efforts
to
prioritize
high
quality,
transit
service,
biking
routes
and
walking
routes.
We
support
keeping
any
remaining
parking
near
the
edge
of
the
site
in
order
to
reduce
conflicts
between
people
driving
and
people
walking
or
biking.
A
Thank
you,
kyle
discussion
of
the
motion.
M
I
think
I
I
just
wanted
to
thank
you
for
putting
this
together,
and
I
had
seen
a
mention
about
the
parking
stalls
and
I'm
really
happy
to
see
that
called
out
in.
F
This
melusine:
can
you
scroll
down
a
little
bit
to
the
part
about
keeping
any
remaining
parking.
A
E
S
H
V
H
C
D
Q
C
D
AB
J
V
A
Thank
you
millicent
and
thanks
everybody
who
read
this
read
this
resolution
provided
feedback
dug
into
the
plan.
I'm
really
excited
that
we
were
able
to
pull
together
a
comment
on
this
on
such
short
notice.
If
you
have
other
questions
about
anything
in
the
five
e's
notes
feel
free
to
reach
out
to
try
to
get
us
wrapped
by
six
o'clock.
I'm
gonna
turn
it
over
to
dan
miller
for
the
engineering
actions.
Y
Y
And
I
already-
and
I
guess
I'd
like
to
ask
a
question
of
robin:
if,
if
you
have
some
language
that
you
wanted
to
add
to
this
or
revise
it.
D
Y
No,
I
think,
that's
fine
so
to
the
general
membership
I'd
like
to
leave
this
draft
motion
on
the
screen,
leave
the
draft
motions
on
the
screen
and
refer
you
to
the
engineering
meeting,
minutes
or
notes.
If,
if
you
can
access
them,
they
are
in
the
chat
they
were
sent
by
alissa
and
I'll.
Try
to
just
roughly
briefly
go
through
this,
so
we
have
a
few
minutes
here
to
get
through
as
much
as
we
can.
Y
This
is
at
zero
to
15
percent
this
project,
which
means
it's
it's
they're,
going
through
a
lot
of
community
engagement
and
they
brought
to
us
a
high
view
picture
of
how
they
wanted
to
of
what
they.
Y
And
how
they
would
expect
to
see
the
streets,
so
they
will
be
coming
back
with
comments
that
they
heard
from
us
and
and
so
forth.
So
it's
about
two
two
and
a
half
miles
long
goes
between
lake
and
40th,
and
this
is
the
bryant
avenue,
bike
boulevard
and
so
they're,
reconstructing
that
and
they're
looking
at
doing
it
in
two
phases
between
the
years
22,
2022
and
2023
and,
as
I
said,
there's
a
they're
going
to
be
going
through
a
lot
of
community
engagement.
Y
There's
an
online
survey
and
feedback
map.
That's
there's
a
link
in
it
in
the
minutes
that
if
you
are
familiar
with
this
or
you
want
to
it's
a
good
thing
to
to
complete
that
and
go
forward
so.
Y
Let's
see
if
everybody's
had
their
notes
up,
I
have
a
few
other
things
on
there
about.
We
had
we
we
raised
some
concerns,
but
the
biggest
concern
was
that
there
was
a
discussion.
There
is
a
discussion
going
on
now
that
they
are,
they
are
reviewing
to
make
to
look
at
bryant
avenue
being
a
one-way
rather
than
the
two-way.
Y
It
is
to
allow
for
the
bicycle
facilities
to
or
the
public
facilities,
to
expand
and
robin
one
went
away,
and
did
this
motion
to
kind
of
communicate
that
and
that's
what
we'll
be
voting
on,
but
before
we
go
through
that
to
the
committee
that
was
there.
Is
there
anything
that
you'd
like
to
add
before
we
proceed
with
the
motion.
Y
All
right,
so
I'm
going
to
read
the
motion
and
ask
for
a
second,
and
here
it
is.
The
bicycle.
Advisory
committee
supports
a
protected
bicycle
facility
on
bryant
avenue
south
and
encourages
public
works
staff
to
strongly
consider
limiting
vehicular
traffic
to
one
lane.
One
way
in
order
to
maximize
pedestrian
bicycle
and
green
infrastructure
space.
D
S
Yes,
this
is
samuel
ferg.
I
just
had
a
quick
question
in
this
motion.
S
Are
there
any
details,
or
is
it
a
little
too
early
to
ask
about
so
they
want
to
do
bryant
lane
in
a
one-way
with
one
lane
for
cars?
Is
there
a
direction?
Is
this
going
north?
Is
this
going
south
any
more
details
on
that,
or
is
that
to
come
at
a
later
date.
Y
I
think
that's
to
come
and
what
they're
doing
is
they're
exploring
this
as
an
option.
They
are
going
to
be
going
through
a
fair
amount
of
basically
fine-tuning
this
high-level
plan
that
they
have
right
now,
and
this
was
just
it
was
brought
up.
They
said
they
were
going
to
be
reviewing
a
one-way
thing
and
several
people
in
the
committee
expressed
that
there's
been
a
lot
of
cons.
There's
been
a
lot
of
support
to
try
to
turn
this
review
and
look
at
it
being
a
one-way
yeah.
Okay,.
S
Y
I
think
the
details
are
coming
later.
One
thing
which
I
should
probably
point
out
is
in
their
proposal:
they
are
moving
transit
to
lindale,
and
so
they
they,
if
you
review
the
stuff
that
is
on
their
website
and
also
the
document
that
was
shared
with
us.
The
presentation
has
slightly
different
information.
That's
very
helpful.
It's
more
geared
to
I
think
stuff
that
deals
with
bike
and
pedestrian
infrastructure,
so
those
are
really
really
good
documents
to
read.
Y
C
Y
C
F
C
H
AC
C
Y
This
project
is
at
zero
percent,
it's
a
hennepin
county
street
and
they
are
directing
it
with,
of
course,
minneapolis
being
a
partner.
Y
It's
a
it
received
regional
solicitation
funding
and
it
is
taking
on
a
one-mile
segment
of
of
lowry
between
washington
and
johnson
streets,
and
this
will
go
right
through
the
central
avenue
intersection
and,
ideally,
I
think
the
they
are
following
what
was
kind
of
put
together
in
the
law
recorder
plan
in
2015,
adopted
by
the
city
and
county
and
which
talks
about
improving
this
street.
With
these
types
of
improvements,
a
reconstruction
from
marshall,
all
the
way
to
stinson
parkway.
Y
So
this
is
the
first
stage
of
it,
the
first
mile
of
it
they're
planning
on
beginning
construction,
20
23-24,
so
they
are
really.
This
was
just
an
introduction
and
they
presented
a
few
snapshots
out
of
the
larger
law
recorder
plan
as
a
guide
as
kind
of
a
starting
point.
Y
This
the
big
takeaways
on
that
is
they
are.
The
2015
plan
talked
about
a
4-3
conversion,
basically
west
of
central,
going
central
to
marshall,
and
or
this
would
be
central
to
washington
for
this
part,
but
in
a
future
project
would
go
all
the
way
to
marshall
and
from
eastwise
from
central
to
johnson
street
having
some
kind
of
bike
facility.
Y
The
on
the
west
side
there
is,
the
2015
plan,
doesn't
really
show
enough
right
away
to
do
both
an
improved
pedestrian
facility
and
and
bike
lanes.
Y
So
you
know
this
stuff
is
zero
percent,
and
I
know
that
there's
been
a
a
lot
of
concern
raised
about
facilities
going
the
entire
length
of
stinson
to
marshall,
and
what
this
proposal
attempted
to
do
was
to
in
a
light
way
just
encourage,
and
perhaps
it
could
be
stronger
to
encourage
that
when
they,
when
hennepin
county
starts
looking
into
a
more
detailed
design
of
this
thing
that
they
would
include
either
a
multi-use
trail
or
a
protected
bike
lane,
and
consider
that
for
the
entire
length
of
laureum,
so
I'll
read
the
motion
and
then
or
actually
first
does
anybody
want
to
add
anything
to
what
I've
said
there
or
any
questions.
AB
Dan,
this
is
jordan,
yes,
pink
county.
Could
I
just
add
one
little
piece
of
context,
so
the
plan
you
referenced.
AB
One
reason
why
the
ultimate
decision
in
that
plan
was
not
to
include
a
bike
facility
between
central
and
marshall
is
because
it
the
plan
said
that
a
parallel
bike,
boulevard
type
facility
would
be
built
on
both
27th
and
22nd,
and
I
think
the
reality
is
that
the
a
continuous
facility
on
27th
is
not
going
to
happen
in
the
near
future.
It
requires
a
bridge
over
a
rail,
a
wide
rail
yard
exit
area.
So
I
think
that's
one.
AB
I
think
that's
just
one
piece
to
take
into
consideration
in
a
situation
like
this
is
that
the
decision
was
made
kind
of
based
on
faulty
assumptions
in
a
way
on
unrealistic
assumptions.
So
you
know,
I
guess
just
just
take
that
for
what
it
is
that
I
think
the
direction
this
is
head
in
is
probably
more
in
the
realm
of
possibilities,
focusing
on
what
can
be
done
on
lowry,
avenue
itself.
A
A
Yeah
it
does
I'm
just
if
there's
no
bicycle
facility
on
this
street.
I
fail
to
see
why
cars
should
have
three
lanes
yeah.
So
I
wonder
if
folks
would
be
open,
adding
some
language
around
ensuring
that
bicycles
are
our
priority.
I
think
safe
bike
facilities
are
more
important
than
making
sure
cars
can
go
fast
by
adding
by
keeping
a
turn
lane.
F
Y
I
think
it
could.
You
know
I
mean
it's
up
to
the
group
to
do
I've
yeah
there
aren't
20,
there
aren't
facilities
on
27th
and,
as
jordan
pointed
out
it,
it
has
a
rail
yard
to
connect
to
get
get
past
so
that
that
traffic
has
to
all
at
the
moment,
go
down
to
central
to
pick
up
on
fifth
avenue
before
it
goes.
North.
N
Could
I
jump
in
as
a
maybe
a
procedural
thing
or
just
a
thought?
So
I
think
you
know
this
is
at
zero
percent
still
and
we
don't
typically
pass
resolutions
yeah
unless
there's
something
that
we
think
is
really
important,
and
I
I
think
the
important
thing
at
this
stage
is
is
to
let
the
county
know
that,
like
we
sort
of
want
and
expect
bike
lanes,
I
feel
like
some
of
the
other
details.
Unless
we
can
like
do
it
fairly
quickly
might
be
more
in
the
30
realm.
N
But
that's
that's
just
perspective.
So.
A
Y
I
Dan,
this
is
this
is
kyle.
Could
we
just
add
something
about
the
entire
length
of
the
reconstruction
project
because,
like
as
it
stands
right
now,
they
have
a
they're
showing
a
bike
lane
from
johnson
to
central,
but
then
not
a
bike
lane
from
central
to
washington.
So.
X
I
Multi-Use
trail
for
the
entire
length
of
the
lowry
avenue
northeast
reconstruction.
I
A
You
didn't,
but
mill
said
you
would
need
to
add
after
northeast
comma,
including.
P
Q
This
is
philip,
I
was
just
gonna
add
we.
I
don't
think
we
had
any
sense
of
average
daily
travel
on
this
section
and
how
many
you
know
left
and
right
turn
lanes,
so
it
it
seems,
yeah
premature,
to
know
whether
I
mean
the
four
to
three
concert.
Conversion
is
certainly
great
and
I
assume
it's
about
15
000
cars
a
day.
It's.
Y
It's
a
little
less
than
that
and
if
jordan
wants
to
speak
to
that
he
can.
This
is
kind
of,
if
you
think,
a
little
bit
about
it.
This
has
some
similar
right-of-way
issues
that
broadway
has
and
broadway
went
through
a
very
successful
four
to
three
conversion
two
years
ago
and
yeah.
So
this
is
kind
of
and
something
that
I
think
the
county
supports.
AB
This
is
jordan,
yeah
I'll
just
say
I
don't
know
the
the
traffic
volume
off
the
top
of
my
head.
I
know
it
is
less
than
broadway
street
northeast,
where
we
could
do
a
three-lane
conversion,
but
I
think
the
real
rub
here
is
east
of
central
in
the
study
that
was
done,
they're
actually
showing
two
lanes
and
west
of
central
is
where
it
becomes
a
three
lane.
AB
I
think
that's
the
reason
why
that's
like
the
rub
of
why
they're
not
including
a
bike
facility
west
of
central,
because,
at
least
in
the
study
they
felt
that
the
three-lane
section
was
needed
west
of
central
but
not
east
of
central.
So
I
think
that's
one
thing
that
this
project
will
hopefully
re-evaluate.
AB
A
Jordan,
dan,
I
want
to
encourage
you
to
read
the
motion
and,
if
there's
any
other
formal
discussion,
that's
where,
after
our
end
time,
we're
going
to
start
dropping
off.
Y
All
right
here
we
go
the
lowry
avenue
reconstruction.
The
bicycle
advisory
committee
requests
that
hennepin
county
and
minneapolis
fully
research
protected
bike
lanes
or
an
off-street
multi-use
trail
for
the
entire
length
of
the
lowry
avenue
northeast,
including
reconstruction
from
johnson
to
washington,
streets,
to
provide
access
to
commerce,
community
and
the
river.
Y
C
F
D
C
H
H
C
Q
Y
A
I
think
that
sounds
great,
since
folks
are
going
to
be
dropping
off
and
again
we'll
remind
folks.
You
have
access
to
the
notes
and
if
you
have
any
questions,
feel
free
to
reach
out
to
to
me,
and
if
I
don't
have
answers,
maybe
dan
would
be
willing.
I
A
Check
in
with
folks
about
anything,
I
appreciate
folks
staying
a
few
minutes
past
our
end
meeting
time.
Today
we
really
try
really
hard
not
to
run
over
and
I'd
say
we
have
hit
that
goal
about
50
of
the
time
since
we've
gone
virtual,
so
we
will
try
to
make
up
for
it
with
a
short
meeting
here
and
there
thanks
everybody
for
being
here
today,
matthew
deardoll.
Did
you
have
any
other
closing
comments
before
we?
I
move
to
adjourn
nope.
I
don't.
A
We
would
do
announcements
now
if
anybody
has
any
really
burning
announcements.
A
AB
This
is
jordan.
I
do
actually
and
it's
to
say
that
hennepin
county
is
actually
looking
for
people
for
our
bike
advisory
committee
in
district
3,
and
that
includes
southwest
minneapolis,
so
west
of
35,
w
and
south
of
downtown
and
as
well
as
the
city
of
st
louis
park.
So
if
you
know
anyone
who
lives
in
those
communities
who
might
be
interested,
let
them
know
you:
can
google
hennepin
county
bike
advisory
committee
to
find
the
application.
