A
The
broadcast
of
the
regular
meeting
of
the
executive
committee
will
now
begin
good
morning
and
welcome
to
the
regular
meeting
of
the
executive
committee
for
march
23
2021.
My
name
is
jacob
fry
and
I'm
the
chair
of
this
committee,
as
we
begin
I'll
note
for
the
record
that
this
meeting
has
remote
participation
by
members
of
the
city,
council
and
staff
as
authorized
under
minnesota
statutes.
A
Section
13.021
due
to
the
declared
local
public
health
emergency,
also
note
that
the
city
will
be
recording
and
posting
this
meeting
to
the
city's
website
and
youtube
channel
as
a
means
of
increasing
public
access
and
transparency.
This
meeting
is
public
and
subject
to
the
minnesota
open
meeting
law
at
this
time.
I'll
ask
the
clerk
to
call
the
role,
so
they
can
verify
a
quorum
for
this
meeting.
A
B
A
Let
the
record
reflect
that
we
have
a
quorum
with
that
kylie's
our
agendas
before
us
I'll
move
to
adopt
the
agenda
as
presented.
Is
there
any
discussion
or
amendment
to
the.
A
Agenda,
seeing
none
the
clerk
call
the
roll.
A
A
A
B
A
That
carries
and
those
minutes
are
adopted.
That
brings
us
to
our
discussion
item
on
a
discussion
portion
of
our
agenda
and
there's
just
one
item
today,
which
is
the
consideration
of
my
nomination
to
appoint
rebecca
momquist
to
the
appointed
position
of
city
assessor
for
an
unexpired
term,
ending
january
2nd,
2022
I'll
move
approval
of
this
item.
Is
there
any
discussion.
A
So
with
with
that
I'll,
just
note
briefly
that
I
know
there
will
be
many
opportunities
to
highlight
rebecca
mamquisten
and
her
work
throughout
this
nomination
process.
So
I'll
just
be
brief,
her
her
commitment
to
the
city
and
then
the
assessor's
office.
It
dates
back
to
2014
when
she
joined
as
the
director
of
assessments
and
throughout
her
career
she's,
been
very
intimately
involved
with
the
budget
process,
the
evaluation
process
and
has
mentored
quite
a
few
individuals
in
the
assessor's
office
itself.
She's
received
numerous
awards
from
within
her
field
and
the
national
assessors
association.
A
I
don't
recall
exactly
the
acronym
or
what
it's
what
it's
called,
but
she
has
referred
received
several
awards
there
and
and
she's
spent
her
entire
working
career
working
in
the
public
sector,
starting
with
her
first
job
in
high
school
as
a
lifeguard
on
a
county,
beach
and
so
simply
put
this
kind
of
service
is,
is
in
her
dna
we're
lucky
to
have
this
sort
of
dedication
at
the
city,
I'm
proud
to
forward
her
name,
miss
mom
quiz,
we're
proud
to
have
you
and
I
I've
moved
approval.
