Let's
review
the
agenda
I'll,
read
the
agenda
number
and
address
of
the
project
and
state
whether
it's
slated
for
consent,
continuance,
withdraw
return
or
discussion
I'll.
Just
talk
a
little
bit
about
what
consent
items
are.
These
are
items
that
will
be
passed
without
discussion
by
the
board.
We
will
be
adhering
to
the
staff
recommendation
found
on
your
agenda
under
the
item's
recommended
motion.
Section
importantly,
any
applicable
conditions
will
be
listed
in
the
same
section.
B
If
you
agree
with
this
recommendation,
including
any
applicable
conditions,
you
need
to
do
nothing
and
the
board
will
pass.
It
is
recommended,
please
check
in
with
a
staff
member
assigned
to
that
item.
If
you
have
any
questions
following
the
decision,
if
you
disagree
with
the
recommendation,
please
indicate
you'd
like
to
speak
against
the
item.
When
I
ask
and
we'll
put
it
on
the
discussion
agenda.
B
B
If
you'd
like
to
speak
against
an
item
and
want
to
indicate
so
now
just
press
star
six
on
your
phone
and
say
you'd
like
to
speak
against
the
item.
B
I'm
not
hearing
anyone
so
agenda.
Item
number
six
is
715
12th
avenue.
Southeast
staff
is
recommending
this
item
for
consent
for
variance
a
variance
b
is
being
returned,
and
adoption
of
the
agenda
acknowledges
this
and
no
further
action
on
this
variance.
Request
on
the
part
of
the
board
is
required.
Is
there
anyone
to
speak
against
variance
a.
B
B
B
E
B
B
I
did
think
I
do
think
we
have
an
announcement
on
whether
we
will
be
returning
back
to
in-person
meetings.
Maybe
we'll
get
an
update
on
that.
D
B
B
A
Mr
chair,
this
is
ken
taylor
from
the
clerk's
office.
The
the
caller
has
been
muted,
since
the
public
hearing
is
is
complete.
B
Let's
move
on,
they
have
the
option
they
have
other
options
to
pursue.
Given
that
the
public
hearing
has
been
closed
and
we
have
voted
on
that
matter,
so
we're
not
going
to
re
re-review
it.
I
wish
to
speak
again,
sir.
You
are
the
we've
already
voted
on
that
item.
B
B
B
A
Yes,
thank
you,
chair
perry,
ken
daler
from
the
clerk's
office.
As
some
of
you
may
know,
I
don't
know
if
planning
staff
has
already
given
you
an
alert,
but
the
city
council.
Last
week
at
its
meeting
on
march,
24th
did
approve
a
transition
plan
to
return
to
in-person
meetings.
The
council
is
beginning
its
own
return
on
april
11th.
A
All
of
its
meetings
will
be
in
person
from
that
point
forward
and
directed
the
city
clerk
to
develop
a
plan
to
transition
back
the
remainder
of
the
various
independent
bodies,
including
yourselves,
and
all
the
appointed
boards
and
commissions
that
the
city
operates.
A
The
clerk
has
identified
april
18th
as
the
day
that
planning
bodies
will
return
to
in-person
meetings.
So
that's
monday
april
18th.
So
that
will
mean
that
the
zoning
board
of
adjustments
next
meeting,
which
I
believe
is
scheduled
for
thursday
april
21st,
will
will
be
an
in-person
meeting
great.
B
A
So
there
there
has
been
much
thought
and
must
as
much
discussion
about
hybrid
meetings.
At
this
point
we
will
be
100
in
person
and
it's
simply
due
state
statute
puts
a
quite
a
few
requirements
and
limitations
on
hybrid
meetings
and
the
city
does
not
have
the
resources
to
and
the
ability
to
transition
to
hybrid
meetings.
At
this
point,
I
think
it's
a
possibility
in
the
future.
A
But
members
of
the
body
themselves
are
really
only
allowed
to
not
participate
in
in
a
meeting
at
the
meeting
location,
except
for
military
exemptions
and
health
exemptions,
and
in
that
hybrid
setting.
Any
any
location
that
a
member
would
participate
in
would
need
to
be
available
to
the
public
to
join
you.
So
at
this
point,
because
the
city
isn't
ready
to
take
that
step,
all
of
our
meetings
will
be
100
in
person.
E
Yeah
I
was
curious
if
there
are
specific
health
protocol,
given
it's
still
a
pandemic
that
we
are
supposed
to
follow
or
if
how
that
has
changed.
A
So
that
that,
thank
you
board,
member
wang,
we,
we
are
still
kind
of
working
on
some
of
the
details
around
that
we
are
working
on,
as,
as
you
will
remember,
or
as
many
of
the
board
members
will
remember,
I
should
say
that
our
meetings,
the
zoning
board
of
adjustment
meetings,
are
in
council
chambers,
but
there
are
a
few
adjacent
rooms
right
next
to
it.
A
While
it's
happening,
we
will
have
a
limit
on
the
number
of
people
allowed
in
chambers
at
any
given
moment,
but
we're
still
working
on
kind
of
the
specific
details
around
where
everyone
will
be
and
how
that
flow
will
work.
B
Great
any
other
questions
I
I
have
a
quick
one
to
follow
on
ms
wang's
question
are
masks
gonna,
be
required.
