Good

we
will
call
that
everyone
on
the
committee.
We
have
a

There

A
This
is
a
consent

but
these
are
deed
applications,
tbra
applications,
as
well
as
the
Environmental
a
grant
program
from
Hennepin
County,
and
then
we
also
have
a
land
sale
that
we're
setting
a
public
hearing
for
for
November
7th
at
1804
31st
Street
East.
Are
there
any
items
on
the
consent
agenda?
Anyone
would
like
to
pull
for
discussion.
Seeing
none
I'll
move
the
agenda
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye,
and
he

Well,
we're
very
proud
of

for
actually
getting
this
done
in
the
middle
of
the

It's
really
noteworthy
and
I
will
note.
This
was
a
Ramada

before
it
was
a
surface
parking
lot,
so
there's
a
long
history
on
this

Thank
you

to
testify
today.
Thank
you.
Is
there
anyone

close

and
he
opposed
that
item
is
approved.
B
Thank
you,
committee,
chair
and
committee
members.
We
already
know
who
I
am
so
I'm
presenting
an
application
prepared
for
inspector
Max
Cervantes
for
sweet,
green
owned
by
sweet,
green
Minnesota
LLC.
The
business
address
is
212
North
3rd
Avenue
number
107
in
Ward
3..
They
currently
have
a
restaurant
license.
This
applicant
is
requesting
a
Sidewalk
Cafe
license.
Sweetgreen
is
new
to
the
area
and
recently
opened
their
restaurant.
The
hours
of
operation
are
10
a.m,
to
10
p.m.
B
Daily,
inside
and
out
they
are
proposing
a
Sidewalk
Cafe
Edition
to
the
restaurant,
with
16
seats
on
the
sidewalk.
There
will
be
no
entertainment
on
the
sidewalk
on
October
3rd
public
hearing
notices
were
sent
to
Residents
and
Property
Owners
within
450
feet
of
the
premises
multi-unit
buildings
were
posted,
notices
were
also
sent
to
the
north
loop
neighborhood
association,
the
warehouse
Business
Association
and
council
member
rainville.
We
have
received
two
comments
from
the
community,
both
in
support
of
this
application
licenses
and
consumer
services.
A
D
D
Evening,
Madam
chairman,
my
name,
is
Michael:
I
am
with
GST
Professional
Services
Inc.
We
are
National
consultants
for
sweet,
green,
sweet
green
is
very
excited
to
be
coming
to
Minnesota.
It
was
the
second
location
that
we
will
be
opening.
There
will
be
one
followed
by
in
the
University
of
Minnesota
at
The
Graduate
Hotel
later
this
year,
and
we
are
looking
forward
to
having
a
successful
opening
here.
D
The
patio
will
be
something
that
will
be
here
at
warmer
months
of
the
year
and
any
questions
I'd
be
happy
to
answer
for
this
committee
and
any
of
the
public.
Thank.
E
Thank
you,
madam
chair,
welcome.
I,
do
have
some
questions
please,
so
I
did
get
an
email
from
a
constituent
and
they
they
had
some
concern
about
how
the
Paddy
outside
would
be
configured
so
we're
not
impede
pedestrian
traffic.
Do
you
have
a
response
to
that.
D
The
the
way
the
pad
is
going
to
be
set
up
is
the
tables
and
chairs
will
be
against
the
building.
That
is
the
way
that
the
council
or
the
staff
has
requested
that
that
be
done.
I
know
that
the
folks
before
us
had
had
them
against
the
rail,
and
that
was
requested
that
we
locate
them
against
the
the
building
and
that's
what
we're
proposing
to
do
at
this
point
great.
E
That's
that's
probably
what
they're
referring
to
it
wasn't
details.
Thank
you
for
that
answer,
and
I
have
one
more
question
manager.
Will
there
be
music
played
outside.
D
It's
not
allowed
as
far
as
at
this
location,
so
we're
not
proposing
any
at
this
particular
time
unless
the
the
owners
of
the
building
are
going
to
be
doing.
E
That,
okay,
great,
so
thank
you
for
the
answers
and
welcome
to
the
neighborhood
and
to
the
city
and
thank
you
for
investing
in
our
community.
Thank
you.
Looking
forward
to
it.
A
Okay,
great
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye.

you,

much
for

We
have
received
one

of
the

the

that
could
affect
the

The

This
concludes
my
presentation
and
I'll
stand
for.
A
I
I
A
J
All
right
well,
thank
you
so
much
sir,
for
bringing
your
business
here
in
Ward.
Six.
Definitely
this
place
needs
more
businesses
in
the
area.
I
know
the
hospital
is
right
next
to
you
and
it
could.
It
could
get
absolutely.
E
And
thank
you,
madam
chair
Mr,
McCleary
craylee.
E
I
just
want
to
thank
you
for
investing
in
the
community
and
and
I
miss
thanking
you
as
well
Ms
Smith.
So
thank
you
for
investing
in
our
community,
while
it's
great
to
see
these
small
businesses
who
have
faith
in
our
community.
So
thank
you
very
much.
A
On
council
member,
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
any
opposed.
That
item
is
approved.
Thank
you
for
taking
time
today,
sir,
before
we
move
on
to
our
two
discussion
items
I'd
like
to
invite
up
our
executive
director,
Andrea
Brennan,
we
have
a
number
of
staff
that
are
new
to
the
committee
and
at
least
a
few
and
I
wanted
to
give
her
an
opportunity
to
introduce
them.
K
Yes,
thank
you,
madam
chair
and
members
of
the
committee.
First
I
would
like
to
introduce
Meg
McMahon.
She
is
our
new
planning
director
in
cped,
and
it
has
been
10
years
since
we've
had
a
planning
director
and
a
planning
division
in
cpad.
We're
really
excited
to
have
Meg
here.
She
just
started
two
weeks
ago
actually
made
you
want
to
come
up
and
just
say
a
quick
hi.
If
that's
okay,
Madam
chair,
okay,.
L
A
K
Okay,
I
would
also
like
to
introduce
a
new,
relatively
newish
member
of
our
economic
development
business
development
team
Jason
brison.
Do
you
want
to
just
say
he's
going
to
be
up
here
next,
so
while
he
is
a
cop
sir,
yes,
so
Jason
is
presenting
next.
So
that's
a
perfect
segue
he's
been
here
for
six
months
now
about
right,
a.
K
A
M
A
Mr
Brisson
welcome,
thank
you
for
being
here
today.
These
are
discussion
items,
not
public
hearings,
mainly
because
we
view
them
as
really
positive
stories
and
we'd
like
to
hear
a
little
bit
more
about
them
and
make
sure
everyone
on
the
council
has
an
opportunity
to
hear
about
the
good
work
of
the
economic
development
team,
so
you'll
be
presenting
on
the
commercial
property.

completes
my

happy
to
stand
for
questions.
I
will
also
note
that
Miss
balloon
is
present
here
celebrating
her
birthday
with
us
to
speak
to
her
request
desired.
We.
A
Just
so
good
for
us
to
see
the
great
work
that's
happening
in
the
community.
If
you
just
want
to
share
a
little
bit,
you
don't
have
to
tell
us
how
old
you
are.
N
Foreign
yeah,
no
I
just
said
really
happy
that
this
fund
is
available.
I
really
had
the
opportunity
to
get
this
building
and
the
other
people
that
occupied
it's
all
female
owned
as
well,
and
I,
loved
and
I
love
that
Community
I
live
very
close
to
it.
So
I'm
just
happy
to
keep
it
all
going
and
keep
that
corner.
Awesome.
A
J
A
O
Not
gonna,
say
happy
birthday,
but
I
do
want
to
say
happy
birthday
and
my
my
birthday
was
just
a
little
less
than
a
week
ago
as
well.
So
I
just
wanted
to
thank
you,
for
you
know
everything
that
you're
doing
for
the
community.
You
know
this
I
represent
North
Minneapolis
and
you
know
the
application
of
this
fund
has
been
gone.
A
long
way
in
helping
folks,
especially
a
lot
of
you,
know.
O
Black
owned
businesses
on
the
North
side
on
their
buildings,
I'm
glad
to
see
the
way
that
it's
working
in
South,
Minneapolis
and
happy
for
the
work
that
you're
doing
so
happy
birthday
and
and
then
maybe
I'll
I'll,
come
see
you
over
at
the
tattoo
shop
and
show
us
some
work
done.
Yeah
yeah
I've
got
a
little
bit
done
here
so
and
then,
if
I
don't
want
to
steal
anyone
shine
but
I'm
happy
to
move
approval.
I
know.
Other
folks
have
have
comments.
Thank.
A
You,
sir
councilmember.
E
F
Yes,
thank
you
check.
Goodman
just
want
to
say,
happy
birthday
and
welcome.
I
know
it's
in
Ward
12,
two
blocks
off
of
ward
nine,
just
like
congratulations
and
welcome
to
the
neighborhood
and
I
think
it's
a
good
Testament
of
how
these
City
programs
are
helping
people
turn
into
ownership
and
just
very
excited
and
very
happy
and
proud
of
you.
So
thank
you.
A
On
the
motion
to
approve
the
staff
recommendation,
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
any
opposed.
That
item
carries
and
again
thank
you

so
much
for

as
well
in

and
also,
of
course,
to
all
of
the
other
staff,
including
Jim
Terrell,
who
has
made
this
his

We're
very
appreciative.

much

I

the

she's
available
to
ask

answer
any

you
might
have
as
well.
Thank.
A
You
so
much
for
your
report
for
being
here
today.
It's
wonderful
to
see
you
in
person
and
I
know.
These
are
a
lot
of
work
and
we
really
appreciate
your
work,
we'll
invite
the
president
of
the
geezy
to
come
up
and
speak
if
she'd
like
this
is
a
very
well-known
historic
organization
that
has
worked
in
the
Indigenous
Community
for
a
very
long
time,
and
we
are
really
proud
to
be
able
to
work
with
you
on
this
project,
and
we
would
just
let
you
say
anything:
you'd
like
ma'am,
okay
and.
Q
Pay
to
wish
today,
good
afternoon,
council,
members
and
I
just
want
to
thank
the
council
members
in
the
City
of
Minneapolis
for
providing
the
support
to
mcgizzy
through
the
this
challenging
time,
and
you
know,
unfortunately,
we
did
lose
our
building
after
only
being
in
the
building
for
nine
months,
and
we
had
raised
two
million
dollars
for
the
previous
building
and
now
we're
building
Greener
and
better
in
our
new
spot,
we'll
have
a
larger
facility.
Q
We
run
career,
Pathways
programs
and
media
and
green
jobs
and
then
work
in
eight
eight
different
public
school
districts
with
American
Indian
education
programs
in
those
districts,
but
our
new
building
will
be
literally
a
block
from
South
High.
The
All
Nations
program,
which
is
really
a
majority
of
our
kids
that
come
after
school,
will
be
so
I
just
want
to
thank
the
city
for
your
support
over
the
past
two
and
a
half
years
and
for
this
investment
in
our
new
property.
Thank
you.
So
much
for.
A
Taking
the
time
to
be
here
today,
with
that
we'll
see,
if
are,
there
are
members
of
the
council
who
have
comments
they'd
like
to
make
starting
with
council
member
Allison,
followed
by
rainville
and
Chavez.
O
Just
thank
you
for
giving
us
a
little
bit
of
your
story
and
it's
definitely
an
incredible
journey
to
go
from
having
a
building
destroyed
to
building
Anew
again.
So,
thank
you
so
much
for
all
that
you're
doing
in
the
City
of
Minneapolis.
A
E
F
I
think
you
check
it.
I
mean
I'm,
just
really
excited
about
these
funds
that
are
going
to
help
mcgizzy
rebuild
after
being
in
the
Longfellow
neighborhood
now
in
the
Corker
neighborhood,
and
want
to
thank
your
leadership.
Kelly
drummer
I
think
you've
done
a
phenomenal
job
with
mcgizzy
and
excited
to
continue
to
partner
on
making
this
a
great
place
so
welcome
to
Lake
Street
and
welcome
to
the
Corker
neighborhood.
