This conference is made possible by our community partners Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio (CLUES), the Franklin Library, We Are Still Here, PICA Head Start, African Community Services, the Hmong American Leadership Council, and the Center for Laotian-American International Development with support from our Neighborhood and Community Relations Department and sponsorships by Comcast NBC Universal, Spin Electric Scooter Share, CenterPoint Energy, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Allina Health, MetroTransit, Nice Ride and Lime scooters.

Hi I'm Mayor Jacob, Frye and I'd like to invite you to join community leaders, neighbors artists and performers at the community connections conference on Saturday February 1st at the Minneapolis Convention Center. This fun free, family-friendly conference will include more than 30 breakout sessions, presentations from organizations doing census outreach and voter registration and an exhibit hall with more than 100 organizations. Participating you'll enjoy a free lunch with a choice of delicious food from multiple small business owners in Minneapolis. Free bus passes to the Convention, Center and interpreters will be provided. This year's conference theme is week-out.

A call to action to ensure everyone in Minneapolis is counted in this year's United States Census. This matters achieving a complete count for everyone in our city, leads to equitable access to vital public and private resources, so register for the community connections conference. Today, it's a great opportunity to learn from and connect with, your city staff and officials as well as meeting of new neighbors and friends.
