Description
Here's how to report graffiti in Minneapolis and help prevent it on your property.
A
We
live
in
a
beautiful
city
and
we'd
like
to
keep
it
that
way.
Unfortunately,
there
are
some
who
think
it's:
okay
to
damage
property
with
spray
paint
or
markers
that's
graffiti,
and
it's
against
the
law.
You
can
help.
If
you
see
graffiti
in
your
neighborhood
report
it
to
the
city,
call
3-1-1
or
visit
the
city's
website.
You
can
also
use
the
city's
3-1-1
smartphone
app,
which
lets
you
snap,
a
picture
of
the
graffiti
and
send
it
with
your
report
with
the
location
provided
by
your
phone.
A
If
there's
graffiti
on
your
property,
it's
up
to
you
to
remove
it.
You
can
get
graffiti
removal
solvent
for
free
at
any
minneapolis
fire
station,
but
the
best
way
to
fight
graffiti
is
to
prevent
it.
There
are
ways
to
make
your
property
less
of
a
target
for
graffiti.
For
example,
it's
more
difficult
to
spray-paint
a
wall
or
fence.
When
there
are
plants
there,
it
can
also
help
to
add
lights
to
your
property,
and
if
you
see
someone
vandalizing
property
or
committing
any
other
crime,
call
911
fighting
graffiti
check
out
the
city
of
Minneapolis
website.
