A
This
is
going
to
change
people's
lives,
big-time
and
guess
what
not
just
the
students
but
the
employers,
so
it
all
started
to
get
the
richness
that
it
has
today
where
this
is
a
very
wonderful
collaborative
effort,
and
it's
now
turned
into
a
pipeline
of
amazing
youths,
life-changing
experiences
and
companies
being
richer
for
having
had
them
in
their
companies
during
those
summers
and
then
staying
connected
with
them
for
a
lifetime.
This.
B
Summer
will
be
our
17th
year
of
step
up,
that's
17
years
of
bringing
young
people
through
a
program
and
preparing
them
to
succeed
in
our
workforce,
and
what
we're
seeing
right
now
is
former
step
up.
Interns
are
actually
in
administrative
and
leadership
positions
where
they're
actually
hiring
the
next
generation
of
step-up
interns,
and
so
this
beautiful
evolution
is
taking
place
before
our
very
eyes
and
it's
a
program
it's
worth
getting
our
communities.
C
Are
getting
more
and
more
diverse
and
we
really
take
pride
in
hiring
in
our
own
backyard,
and
so
step-up
helps
us
really
broaden
that
base
for
Workforce
Development
to
find
students
that
we
can
work
with
from
the
ground
up
help
them
with
their
careers,
expose
them
to
health
care
opportunities,
and
many
of
the
students
are
diverse
so
as
they
go
through
their
post-secondary
education,
they'll
likely
be
wonderful
employees
for
us
and
then
serve
in
the
communities
that
represent
them.
We.
E
Our
managers,
who
work
directly
with
the
step-up
interns,
are
the
luckiest
people
in
the
bank.
They
love
what
they
do
with
the
interns.
They
learn
a
lot
from
the
interns
in
terms
of
generational
viewpoints,
often
in
terms
of
multicultural
viewpoints.
They
get
to
serve
as
a
mentor
in
a
role
model
and
they
get
to
be
reverse
mentored
in
many
many
ways.
So
it's
it's
a
win-win
or
managers,
absolutely
love
doing
it.
We.
C
F
Depth
at
u.s.
bank,
my
role
is
to
lead
the
branches
in
the
Twin
Cities
and
we
are
noticing
a
growing
shortage
of
workers,
so
for
us
for
every
opening
that
we
have,
we
don't
have
nearly
enough
applicants
so
at
u.s.
bank.
The
step-up
program
helps
us
achieve
the
gap
that
we
may
or
may
not
have
in
the
future
in
terms
of
qualified
workers.
I
urge.
