In
a

our
different
inspectors,
officers
and
officials
conducts
tens

thousands
of
inspections
of
things
like
restaurants,
taxis,
rental
properties
and
more.
The
city
uses,
what's
called

most
types
of
Licensing
and
inspections,
issues
from
Animal
Control
to
zoning.
If
an
inspector
finds
a
violation
at
a
property,
they
will
generally
issue
a
written
order
to
correct
the
violation.
A
If
you
receive
an
order
review
it
closely,
it
will
describe
what
needs
to
be
done
to
bring
a
property
or
business
into
compliance
with
the
due
date
and
name
city
staff
that
you
can
contact
with
questions.
You
can
call
the
listed
inspector
or
311
for
questions,
clarifications,
request
for
extension
and
other
issue.
Here's
what
you
need
to
do
if
an
order
isn't
completed
by
the
due
date.
The
city
may
issue
an
administrative
citation
or
we
may
arrange
to
have
a
third-party
correct.
The
violation
administrative
citations
must
be
paid
or
appealed
within
20
days
check.
A
The
hearing
officer
can
consider
factors
like
the
duration
and
seriousness
of
the
violation,
the
effort
of
the
violator
to
comply
and
a
prior
record
of
violations
at
the
end
of
the
hearing,
they'll
make
a
decision
about
the
appeal
and
notify
you
by
mail.
If
you
have
questions
about
how
to
interpret
a
decision,

to
file
an
appeal
