►
Description
This meeting took place on 7/19/2022 for the Community Health and Food Security RFP.
A
A
So
here's
a
quick
overview
of
the
RFP
we'll
be
awarding
up
to
875
000
in
contracts.
A
minimum
of
four
hundred
and
fifty
thousand
dollars
of
the
funding
is
designated
by
city
council
for
food
security.
Related
projects
Brands
can
be
anywhere
from
twenty
thousand
up
to
75
000
and
it
can
be
in
any
of
the
in
any
of
the
categories
below
so.
A
The
first
category
is
food
security,
which
is
really
to
increase
food
security,
increase
the
availability
of
healthy
foods
in
Minneapolis
and
also
build
the
capacity
of
organizations
working
to
reduce
Foods
insecurity
in
the
city.
The
second
is
to
support
community-based
approaches
to
address
Health
disparities,
exacerbated
by
Copic,
19
and
disproportionately
affected
communities,
or
we
also
welcome
proposals
that
address
both
food
security
and
another
Health
disparity
as
part
of
one
proposal.
A
A
little
bit
more
information
about
the
food
security
portion
of
the
of
the
RFP,
so
we
seek
evidence-based
proposals
that
will
increase
access
to
healthy
foods
in
Minneapolis.
So
here's
some
examples
of
a
few
kinds
of
projects
that
would
be
eligible,
so
efforts
to
strengthen
hunger,
relief
or
food
distribution
infrastructure
through
capacity
building,
Staffing
or
equipment
purchases,
incentives
or
financial
support
to
make
fruits
and
vegetables
more
affordable.
A
This
through
tokens
coupons
on
a
one-time
basis
or
an
ongoing
basis.
Examples
would
include
Market
bucks,
fresh
bucks
or
veggie
prescriptions,
also
a
provision
of
fresh
produce
to
provide
to
individuals
who
are
food,
insecure
and
also
home,
delivery
of
meals
or
groceries
for
a
low
income
or
elderly
individuals
with
medical
conditions
that
could
potentially
improve
with
a
healthier
diet.
B
All
right
and
I
will
be
taking
on
this
community
health
portion,
so
just
getting
right
into
it.
There
are
many
factors
that
affect
Health,
including
social
determinants
of
Health,
that
affect
health
risk
and
outcomes.
These
factors
have
contributed
to
a
disappointed
burden
that
covid-19
has
placed
on
racial
and
ethnic
minority
groups,
thereby
increasing
the
risk
of
getting
sick
and
dying
of
covert.
19..
Here
are
some
of
the
factors
that
include
the
ability
to
access
health
care.
B
That
means
uninsured
or
underinsured
lack
of
Transportation
Child,
Care
language
barriers,
there's
also
occupation
and
employment,
with
working
in
essential
settings
leading
to
an
increased
risk
of
exposure,
housing
and
living
in
crowded
housing
or
multi
multi-unit
buildings.
It
does
make
for
difficult
times
to
isolate
when
you
are
sick
and
just
continuing
from
that,
we
have
a
few
other
lists
as
well.
B
Health
disparities,
exacerbated
by
covid-19,
can
include
substance,
use,
HIV,
STI
rates,
suicide,
mental
health,
obesity,
tobacco
use,
chronic
disease
and
Pregnancy
Care.
These
are
just
some
other
ones
that
are
included
in
the
community
health
work,
so.
A
A
A
B
All
right
so
yeah,
let's
just
go
ahead
and
re-
iterate.
What
I
had
said
here
are
some
other
examples
of
Health
disparities,
exacerbated
by
covid-19.
Of
course,
there's
substance
use,
HIV,
STI
rates,
suicide,
mental
health,
obesity,
tobacco
use,
chronic
disease,
Pregnancy,
Care
pregnancy
outcomes
and
prenatal
care
moving
forward
are
we
does
it?
Work
just
want
to
make
sure.
A
C
C
D
B
So
moving
forward
from
that
proposed
projects
or
Services
can
be
focused
on
improving
outcomes
of
one
or
more
Health
disparities.
The
intent
of
funding
is
to
support
community-based
organizations
to
design
and
Implement
strategies,
centered
around
specific
Community
needs
and
to
promote
Health
Equity.
With
that
in
mind,
applications
are
encouraged
to
propose
activities
that
reflect
their
own
expertise,
experience
and
knowledge
and
that
have
the
potential
for
improving
Health
outcomes
related
to
covid-19
and
under-deserved
communities.
B
Sorry,
moving
forward
with
that
here
is
one
option
that
you
can
do
as
well,
which
is
the
hybrid
or
the
combination
proposal.
There
are
many
ways
one
can
apply
for
this
grant.
Of
course,
the
hybrid
is
one
of
those
options
and
for
a
hybrid
proposal
it
needs
to
address
both
food
security
and
another
Health
disparity
as
well.
B
B
Prioritize
low-income
communities
demonstrates
excuse
me
active
involvement
of
the
community.
They
are
serving
this
demonstrate
capacity
to
fill
proposed
activities
and
demonstrate
commitment
or
plan
for
procuring
from
local
and
sustainable
sources
and
sustainable
unsustainable
practices
and
as
well
demonstrate
commitment
to
providing
healthy
foods,
including
produce.
B
Great,
so
moving
forward
with
that
as
well
eligible
applicants
are
non-profit
organizations,
neighborhood
organizations,
cultural
organizations,
places
of
worship
or
faith
organizations,
schools,
groups
or
organizations
that
provide
emergency
food
assistance
except
food
assistance,
as
well
as
like
Snap,
EBT
or
WSC,
or
are
partnered
with
any
other
food
organizations
serving
Minneapolis,
specifically
Minneapolis
residents,
local
Regional
or
state
government
and
business
for-profit
entities
are
not
eligible
for
funding
under
this
RFP.
So
just
again,
local
Regional
or
state
government
businesses.
For-Profit
entities
are
not
eligible
for
funding
under
this
RFP.
B
Some
other
eligible
criteria,
funded
organizations,
must
be
able
to
adhere
to
the
program
requirements
and
meet
the
city
of
minneapolis's
contract
requirements.
These
requirements
also
include
meeting
the
city's
insurance
requirements,
such
as
workers,
compensation,
commercial,
general
liability
insurance
and
auto
insurance.
Funded
organizations
must
be
able
to
comply
with
accounting
and
Reporting
requirements
of
federal
funding,
as
well
with
the
fiscal
sponsorships.
We
will
need
to
consider
them
on
a
case-by-case
basis.
B
So
the
criteria
for
the
food
Security
Contracts
will
be
selected
organizations
that
must
comply,
comply
or
be
complacent
with
the
City
of
Minneapolis
Food
business
licensing
or
permit
requirements
by
October
3rd
of
2022,
or
be
able
to
demonstrate
progress
toward
completion
of
that
requirement
within
an
agreed
upon
time
frame.
The
Minneapolis
health
department
will
provide
technical
assistance
to
funded
organizations
to
meet
this
requirement
as
needed
and
possibly
additional
support
when
possible
equipment
or
improvements
required
to
secure
a
food
business
license
may
be
included
in
the
proposal.
A
Thank
you
Ethan,
so
just
want
to
go
over
the
timeline,
so
the
RFP
was
released
on
July
7th
we're
here
today
on
July
19th
for
the
pre-proposal
virtual
meeting.
There
is
a
non-binding
intent
to
apply
due
date
of
this
Thursday
July
21st
at
4
pm,
and
we'll
talk
more
about
that.
In
a
moment,
questions
on
the
RFP
are
due
by
Monday
August
1st
at
4
pm.
A
So
obviously
we'll
be
asked
we'll
be
answering
questions
today
during
the
at
the
end
of
our
presentation.
But
if
you
have
any
additional
questions
that
we
don't
get
answered
today
during
our
meeting,
then
you
can
submit
them
by
email
they'll.
A
There
do
no
later
than
August
1st
at
4
pm
and
they'll
be
posted
along
with
the
materials
for
the
RFP
on
August
4th
at
2
pm
proposals
are
due
the
following:
Thursday
August
11th
at
12
pm,
and
we
estimate
that
applicants
will
will
be
selecting
applicants
around
September,
9th,
that's
a
that's
a
rough
date,
but
around
then,
and
that
Services
would
start
in
early
October.
That,
of
course,
is
pending
a
successful
Contracting
process,
and
then
services
will
end
no
later
than
December
31st
of
2024.
A
A
As
I
have
said:
it's
not
required.
It
is
not.
It
is
non-binding.
So
if
you
say
you're
going
to
apply
and
you
don't
apply,
that's
okay!
If
you
want
to
apply
and
you
don't
send
the
intend
to
apply
email,
you're
still
eligible
to
apply
and
please
email,
Health
at
Minneapolis
mn.gov,
with
the
subject
line,
2022,
Community
Health
and
food
security
intent
to
apply
and
then
in
the
body
of
the
email.
A
A
So
here's
what
to
include
in
your
application,
there's
significantly
more
detail
about
this
in
the
RFP
on
pages
12-13,
but
an
overview
of
what
to
include
is
an
executive
summary
scope
of
services,
experience
and
capacity,
your
proposed
outcomes,
results
and
goals
for
your
project,
the
proposed
timeline
for
your
project
and
a
budget.
So
you
can
see
that
we've
we've
put
on
the
slide
here,
also
how
many
points
are
assigned
in
terms
of
the
scoring
for
each
of
those
sections
of
your
application.
A
We
do
ask
that
you
submit
all
documents
as
one
PDF
document
when
you
upload
it
to
the
e-supplier
system.
So
again,
all
of
those
things,
including
the
budget,
should
be
uploaded
as
a
single
PDF
into
the
e-supplier
system
and
now
I'm
going
to
hand
it
back
to
Ethan.
Oh
nope,
I
have
one
more
slide.
Sorry
about
that.
So,
in
terms
of
the
format,
the
project
narrative
should
be
no
more
than
five
pages.
A
Please
use
12
point
font
single
spaced
with
one
inch
margins.
There
is
a
proposal
cover
sheet
in
the
RFP.
Please
use
that
but
know
that
it
will
not
be
counted
towards
your
page
limit
proposals
will
be
reviewed
for
quality,
thoroughness
and
Clarity
and
again
there's
all
the
sections
that
will
be
included
in
that
project
narrative
and
you
can
see
page
four
of
the
RFP
for
more
detailed
information.
B
Problem
I
will
take
it
from
here
all
right.
So
let's
talk
a
little
bit
about
the
budget.
The
budget
Awards
will
be
made
from
20
000
up
to
75
000
per
application
applications
May
support
one
or
more
distinct
projects.
They
may
support
more
than
one
application
if
the
applications
are
for
distinct
projects.
Oh
I
just
said
that
I'm
sorry,
but
to
submit
a
proposal
in
partnership
with
another
entity.
If
the
partnership
and
the
rules
are
clearly
defined
and
explained,
then
it
will
be
okay.
B
B
I
think
so:
okay,
there
we
go
ineligible
expenses.
I
won't
go
too
much
into
detail,
because
this
is
a
very
big
page,
but
please
feel
free
to
take
notes
on
this
one
as
well.
Recipients
may
not
use
funds
for
limited
nutritional
value
or
unhealthy
Foods
foods
and
beverages
that
provide
a
few
or
no
essential
vitamins,
minerals
or
nutrients,
and
contribute
to
overweight
and
obesity
or
poor
health
outcomes.
These
primarily
include
highly
processed
foods
or
beverages
that
are
in
high
sodium
or
added
sugar
or
saturated
fat.
B
To
read
it
reiterate,
recipients
may
not
use
funds
to
purchase
items
used
for
personal
use
for
profit
recipients
may
not
use
funds
to
pay
for
Capital
expenses.
Recipients
may
not
use
funds
for
clinical
care,
except
as
Allowed
by
law
and
other
than
for
normal
and
recognized
executive
legislative
relationships.
No
funds
may
be
used
for
publicity
or
propaganda
use.
B
I'm,
just
following
up
again
with
some
of
those
as
well
recipients
may
not
use
the
funds
for
research.
They
may
not
use
funds
for
clinical
care,
except
as
Allowed
by
law.
Recipients
may
not
be
used.
The
funds
only
for
reasonable
program
purposes,
including
Personnel
travel
supplies
and
services.
B
Generally,
recipients
may
not
use
funds
to
purchase
furniture
or
equipment,
and
any
such
proposed
spending
must
be
clearly
identified
in
the
budget.
So
please
make
sure
to
do
that.
Reimbursement
of
pre-award
costs
generally
is
not
allowed
either
other
than
a
for
normal
or
recognize
executive
relation
relationships.
B
No
funds
may
be
used
again
for
publicity
or
propaganda
purposes,
inherently
religious
activities,
including,
but
not
limited
to
religious
worship,
instruction
or
processization,
and
please
see
the
attached
terms
and
conditions
in
the
RFP
that
we
have
given
you
guys,
which
will
be
incorporated
to
any
contract
arising
from
this
RFP,
and
they
are
in
attachment
d,
e,
f
and
g.
B
B
The
evaluation
of
the
proposals
we
are
looking
for
a
few
things
through
the
evaluation,
quality,
thoroughness
and
Clarity
Clarity
of
The
Proposal
qualifications
and
experience
of
organizations,
including
the
capacity
to
implement
the
project
ability
to
comply
with
federally
funded
Grant,
accounting
and
Reporting
requirements.
B
Oh
actually,
this
is
mine.
I,
take
it
back,
so
the
proposal
submission
completed
applications
are
due
by
12
p.m.
Minneapolis
time,
of
course,
on
Thursday
August,
the
11th
2022..
Please
submit
all
documents
again
as
one
PDF
when
uploading
to
the
e-supplier
system.
This
is
really
important
because
it
makes
the
process
go
smoothly.
If
we
have
everything
in
one
document,
all
purposes
must
be
submitted.
Attract
extra
sorry
electronically
through
the
city's
e
supplier
portal
paper
and
mailed
applications
will
not
be
accepted.
B
E
Yeah,
thank
you
for
applying
or
attending
this
proposal
today,
I'm
just
going
to
reiterate
and
emphasize
the
importance
of
getting
this
on
time,
but
the
first
bulletin
point
is:
if
you
haven't
signed
up,
please
visit
the
esupplier
portal
and
click
and
tap
on
the
access
esupply
portal
to
to
get
in
our
portal,
not
already
a
city
supplier.
You
will
need
to
fast
register
as
a
Bida.
E
E
E
There's
a
there's
a
link
there
by
clicking
on
and
tapping
on
the
link
how
to
use
e-supplier,
but
I
will
encourage
you
to
if
you
need
further
assistance
with
esupplier
email
in
the
subject
line
esupplier
help
and
that
will
be
sent
to
our
e-procurement
at
Minneapolis.
Mmn.Com.
E
F
A
Now
is
the
time
that
we're
going
to
answer
everyone's
questions
so
at
the
link,
if
you
want
to
unmute
yourself
and
go
ahead
and
read
the
first
question
from
the
chat
that
would
be
great
yep.
A
So
I
was
checking
with
Patty
bowler
during
Ethan's
portion
of
the
slides,
and
we
believe
that
the
answer
is
no
Patty.
Do
you
want
to
chime
in
any
further
on
that.
F
Yeah
can
whoever
asked
the
question?
Can
you
just
elaborate
on
what
you
mean
by
this
question.
H
Yeah,
that's
this
is
a
nail.
Sorry,
yeah
I
was
typing
it.
What
I
was
trying
to
explain
is
like
do
do
we
have
to
have
a
kitchen
for
it
like
and
if
we
have
to
have
the
kitchen,
do
we
have
to
have
applied
for
a
city
license.
F
Yeah,
you
don't
have
to
have
your
own
kitchen,
but
wherever
the
food
is
produced,
it
does
have
to
die
with
City
food
licensing
and
and
Commercial
Kitchen
standards.
Okay,.
H
Gotcha,
okay
gotcha
just
want
to
make
sure
and
is
the:
when?
Is
this
grant
application
due?
Can
you
there
were
so
many
dates?
I
got
confused.
I
H
You
Anil,
and
one
more
question
is
this:
for
only
for
City
of
Minneapolis
or.
A
So
we
we
will
not
be
emailing
out
the
slides,
but
we
will
be
posting
a
recording
of
this
meeting
to
the
event.
The
RFP
event
we
may
all
of
the
information
that's
covered
in
the
slides
is
also
covered
in
the
RFP,
so
we
really
want
the
RFP
to
be.
The
final
word
on
everything,
and
in
most
of
this
I
mean
almost
all
of
this
is
a
cut
and
paste
from
different
sections
of
the
RFP.
D
A
Let's
go
ahead
and
finish
with
the
questions
that
are
in
the
chat
and
then
we'll
open
it
up
for
we'll
open
the
it
up
for
people
with
their
hands
raised.
F
So
I'll,
just
chime
in
on
this
one,
this
is
Patty
bowler
we
haven't
had
that
question
before.
Can
you
give
us
a
little
bit
more
detail
on
on?
What's
meant
by
package
nutritional
supplements.
J
Yes,
hi
Betsy,
Snyder
I
was
the
one
with
that
question,
so
we're
a
non-profit
that
serves
older
adults
and
a
number
of
them
have
cancer
diabetes.
Things
like
that,
so
we've
been
Distributing
ensure
and
boost
package
supplements
like
that
the
last
few
years-
and
there
are
items
that
are
typically
not
covered
by
insurance,
medical
insurance.
So
that's
something
we'd
be
interested
in
purchasing
in
addition
to
food,
if
that
was
a
possibility.
F
Yeah,
you
know,
I
think
what
we're
going
to
do
is
just
research
that
a
little
bit
and
sure
and
then
put
that
in
the
answers
to
these
questions.
J
Okay,
thank
you
and
I.
Think
I
saw
elsewhere
in
the
rfp2
that
hygiene
products
were
acceptable,
but
it
could
only
be
like
10
of
the
budget,
so
would
that
include
things
like
toilet
paper
paper
products
for
older
adults?
Those
are
other
things.
We've
been
Distributing
quite
frequently
in
incontinence,
products.
F
Yeah
Allison:
do
you
want
to
take
that
one.
A
Yeah,
so
my
I
think
you
are
correct
that
hygiene
products
would
fall
in
the
category
of
being
allowable
as
long
as
it
doesn't
exceed
10
of
the
budget.
Okay,
thank
you.
G
A
Yeah
you
can
submit
as
many
proposals
as
you
would
like.
It's
not
limited
to
one
per
organization,
I'm
going
to
go
ahead
and
answer
Mary
Helen
Niche
have
asked
where
we
can
access
a
fillable
budget
form.
So
for
those
who
are
joining
by
phone,
we
answered
it
in
the
chat
but
I'm
going
to
go
ahead
and
read
the
answer,
which
is
that
we
can
set
up
a
form
as
an
addenda
to
the
event.
A
So
the
event
is
the
place
in
e-supplier,
where
you
can
access
the
RFP,
and
so
when
we
upload
the
presentation,
we
can
also
upload
a
fillable
budget
form.
However,
you're
not
required
to
use
the
budget
template,
it's
just
a
sample
that
we've
made
available
as
a
tool.
So
as
long
as
your
budget
includes
all
of
the
elements
that
are
in
the
template,
you
can
use
your
own
budget
format.
A
Abdically,
do
you
want
to
go
ahead
with
the
next
question?
Yep.
G
Next
question
is:
it
was
the
next
question
was:
can
one
organization
propose
two
different
proposals,
but
we
answer
that
the
next
after
that
would
be.
What
would
you
need
for
a
community
organization
to
apply
for
funding
any
particular
legal
entity
info?
Could
a
church
or
Community
Grassroots
organization
apply.
A
E
D
Then,
to
just
to
add
to
that
I
just
want
to
say
when
we
convert
you
from
a
bidder
in
our
system
to
a
supplier,
that's
done
by
providing
us
with
the
W9,
so
you'll
be
providing
the
details
of
your
legal
entity
through
the
W-9.
G
F
I
I
think
just
in
terms
of
evidence
base
I
think
you
know,
if
you
can
we're
trying
to
make
sure
that
the
programs
that
we
fund
are
you
know
based
on
Public,
Health
practice,
good
Public,
Health
practice
so
I,
you
know
if
you're
feeding,
people
due
to
inflation
and
covid
I
think
it's.
You
know
you
need
to
make
a
case
for
for
why
that
is
important
to
do
and
why
it's
needed
in
the
community.
F
So
it's
a
little
bit
like
you
know,
we're
answering
I.
Think
the
question
is
talking
about
kind
of
two
different
things.
Perhaps
can
you
Margaret?
Can
you
say
more
about
your
question.
G
A
So
actually
I
understand
that
equipment
is
included.
Is
there
anyone
from
the
team
that
disagrees
with
me.
B
No
actually
in
the
RFP
it
says
that
storage,
space
and
unrelated
equipment
expenses
are
an
eligible
expense,
but
it
has
to
be
a
good
reason
for
the
use
yeah.
A
There's
there's
no
Capital
Improvements
so
like
you
can't
build
a
new
Warehouse
that
will
house
food,
but
if
you
have
a
facility
and
you
need
to
add
refrigerator
space
in
order
to
be
able
to
safely
store
perishable,
fresh
fruits
and
vegetables
or
other
perishable
food
items,
that
would
be
an
eligible
expense.
G
A
F
Could
you
address
this?
Yes,
we've
actually
done
two
rounds
of
rfps.
The
first
one
was
cares
dollars
and
that
was
primarily
focused
on
organizations,
purchasing
equipment
and
supplying
food
and
then,
secondly,
we
last
fall
I
think
or
maybe
it
was
summer.
We
released
another
RFP
around
food
and
security
and
we
can
definitely
share
those
organizations.
We
also
released
a
second
RFP
around
kind
of
addressing
Health
disparities
and
I.
Think
what
we
need
to
do
is
get
that
information
together
and
attach
it
to
the
answers
to
the
questions.
F
A
Yeah
Kathleen,
can
you
talk
about
boxes
and
things
in
order
to
be
able
to
distribute
food?
Do
you
want
to
take
yourself
off
mute
and
clarify.
K
Hi
I
am
talking
about
like
containers
for
meals,
so
the
fiber
can
take
clam
shells
that
you
would
put
a
meal
in
or
smaller
sizes
the
bags
that
we
put
them
in
those
disposable
flatware.
Those
types
of
things
that
are
used
for
meals
that
are
sort
of
to-go
meals
that
people
bring
back
to
their
room.
K
A
B
Hi
Catherine,
could
you
go
into
a
little
bit
more
detail
as
to
what
do
you
mean
by
as
in
violence?
Are
we
just
talking
like
an
overall
generalization?
Are
we
talking
specifically
sure.
C
B
C
We
operate
a
youth
violence,
Intervention
Program
that
has
a
small
youth
run.
Food
Shelf
as
a
component
I
am
interested
in
applying
for
funding
for
that,
because
it
feels
like
it's
in
line
with
what
you
want
to
do.
The
youth
are
doing
youth,
Outreach
and
Street
intervention
to
prevent
violence,
they're
also
receiving
jobs,
to
keep
young
people
out
of
violent
situations
and
to
connect
them
to
mentoring.
C
Part
of
the
job
is
running
the
food
shelf,
so
I'm
wondering
if
we
should
look
at
this
I
see
this
as
both
a
health
and
safety
I
mean
a
health
Grant
from
the
perspective
of
preventing
accidental
injury
and
death,
which
is
a
huge
disparity
for
the
African-American
Community,
which
is
where
we're
operating
and
also
especially
for
young
men
and
then
also
a
food
thing
because
of
the
food
shelf,
that
the
youth
run
as
a
service
learning
project.
C
So
I
guess
they're,
that's
kind
of
my
context
for
that,
so
I
guess
I'm
going
to
do.
We
want
to
look
at
this
as
only
a
food
shelf,
or
can
we
also
look
at
it
as
a
health
and
safety
project
because
of
the
connection
between
Health
disparities,
around
violence
for
young
African-American
men.
B
Okay,
well,
thank
you
so
much
for
explaining
that
as
well,
and
so
what
you
actually
can
do
is
that
we
we
do
offer
a
category
C,
which
is
the
hybrid
proposal,
so
you
can
do
both.
You
can
apply
as
both
under
the
Community
Health
portion
and
the
food
security
portion
of
the
RFP.
A
And
Catherine,
and
for
all
of
those
of
you
who
are
considered
doing
a
hybrid
proposal,
I
just
want
to
reiterate
this
is
in
the
instructions,
but
please
make
sure
that
it's
very
clear
what
portions
of
your
budget
are
going
to
be
dedicated
to
food
security.
And
the
reason
for
this
is
that
we
have
a
minimum
of
four
hundred
and
fifty
thousand
dollars
worth
of
the
contracts
that
need
to
go
to
Food
security
and
so
for
the
hybrid
proposals.
G
A
So
my
understanding
is
that
you
could
submit
an
unlimited
number
of
proposals
and
in
terms
of
whether
there's
a
limit
to
the
number
of
Awards
One
organization
receives
it's
not
spelled
out
as
such.
In
the
RFP.
However,
we
will
be
looking
to
make
good
allocations
across
the
city
across
you
know,
both
geographically
and
as
well
as
for
different
cultural
communities
and
people
using
different
approaches.
So
I
think
it's
fairly
unlikely
that
one
organization
would
receive
more
than
one
award,
but
it
there's
not
a
Prohibition
in
the
RFP.
G
A
So
you
would
definitely
be
eligible
to
apply,
especially
since
your
award
is
ending
on
December
31st
of
this
year,
and
these
funds
go
through
December
31st
of
2024.
There
would
be
a
short
overlap
that
we
would
need
to
address,
because,
obviously
you
can't
be-
you
know
billing
us
this.
You
know
for
the
same
time
period
for
the
same
service,
but
you
are
definitely
eligible
to
apply
it's
not
a
contract
renewal.
It
would
be
a
re-application,
it
would
be
considered
in
the
same
pool
with
all
other
applicants.
A
That's
a
great
question:
Brandon
and
no
I
mean
I.
Think
I
would
give
the
bigger
picture
of
you
know.
I
mean,
obviously,
in
your
proposal,
talk
about
the
other
sources
of
funding
that
you
have
to
cover
those
other
expenses
and
what
the
programming
looks
like,
so
that
it's
clear
what
the
big
picture
is.
I,
don't
know.
Patty.
Do
you
have
any
additional
comments
regarding.
F
This
question
no
I,
I,
don't
I
think
your
answer
is
good.
Okay,
thank
you,
I'm
wondering
if
we
could
just
address
Guadalupe's
question
because
she's
had
her
hand
raised
for
a
while
he
or
she,
and
then
we
can
get
back
to
the
questions.
A
L
Hi,
yes,
thank
you.
So
my
question
is:
I
was
looking
through
the
RFP
and
there's
like
contradicting
numbers
on
admin
cost
in
one
section
it
says
15
and
then
the
other
it
says
10,
so
I
just
want
to
clarify
and
see
which
one
is
the
true
number,
because
I
guess
that
kind
of
determines
the
budget
as
well.
L
A
L
Thank
you
and
I
can
give
you
the
page
number
it's
on
page
13
of
the
RFP
that
it
says
10
percent.
Thank
you
for
that.
I
appreciate
it
very
much
number
six
just
to
be
specific.
That's
great!.
G
One
more
question
here
in
the
chat:
it's
could
the
fiscal
sponsor
of
a
community
organization
and
the
community
organization
both
receive
Awards.
Under
this
RFP,
for
example,
two
75
000
grants.
A
So
I'm
sorry
I,
was
distracted
by
reading
Margaret's
comment
that
we
have
another
contradiction
within
the
RFP,
oh
dear,
and
so
I
need
to
look
again
on
page
two
to
see
it
says
you
can't
use
for
furniture
or
equipment,
but
my
understanding
and
Patty,
please
correct
me
if
I'm
wrong
is
that
they
can
buy
equipment
like
coolers.
F
That's
what
we've
done
in
the
past,
but
we
will
clarify.
We
will
clarify
that
question
are
the
answer
to
that
absolutely.
A
A
F
Yeah,
so
during
the
pandemic,
we
developed
this
really
abbreviated
process
for
pop-ups
that
are
supplying
food
and
it's
an
easy
to
fill
out
form.
We
would,
if
you're,
if
you're
funded,
we
would
need
to.
We
could
link
you
with
our
food
lodging
and
pools
folks.
C
F
F
I
To
Anna
yeah
hi,
that's
my
question:
well,
it's
the
fiscal
sponsor,
does
their
own
food
related
insecurity,
work
and
then
we
do
as
well,
and
so
if
the
the
awards
were
kept,
distinct
and
separate
for
two
separate
programs,
would
that
be
except.
A
So
Ethan,
if
you
could
please
put
up
the
last
slide,
that
has
the
information
about
how
to
submit
questions
following
the
RFP
I
just
want
to
share
that
information
again,
it's
also
in
the
RFP
and
then
I'll
ask
if,
if
there
are
any
additional
questions
to,
please
raise
your
hand
or
unmute
yourself
and
ask
your
question
now:
we
do
have
just
a
few
minutes
left.
A
And
while
we're
waiting
for
that,
if
you
have
questions
following
today's
meeting,
you
can
email
Health
at
Minneapolis
mn.gov.
Please
include
the
subject
line:
2022
Community
Health
and
food
security.
Again,
questions
are
due
no
later
than
4
pm
on
Monday
August
1st
and
will
be
posted
as
an
addenda
to
the
RFP
on
August
4th.
F
C
F
Most
likely
yeah
you
can
and
I'm
sorry
you
can
always.
You
know,
send
us
an
elaborate
question
and
I
apologize
for
that.
But
that's
that's
how
business
gets
done
regarding
information.
A
A
Yeah,
so
the
presentation
is
being
recorded
and
we
will
be
posting
it.
It's
going
to
take
us
a
couple
of
days
to
get
it
uploaded
into
the
system,
but
the
presentation
has
been
recorded
and
will
be
shared.
A
All
of
this
information
was
drawn
directly
from
the
RFP,
so
we
encourage
you
to
find
it
and
in
terms
of
the
discrepancies,
I
apologize
for
those
and
we
will
definitely
be
clarifying
them
so
stay
tuned
for
that
hearing.
No
further
questions
I'm
going
to
go
ahead
and
conclude
today's
meeting.
Thank
you
very
much
for
joining
us
and
we
look
forward
to
receiving
your
proposals
have
a
good
day.
Everyone
bye-bye.
