has
recognized
February's
Black
History
Month
commemorating
the
achievements
of
black
Americans
and
their
role
in
the
development
in
history
of
the
region
and
nation.
The
resolution
also
celebrates
one
year
since
the
black
employee
network
was
established
for
city
employees.
The
network
offers
peer
support,
mentoring,
professional
development,
career
counseling
and
supportive
services.

city's
green
business
cost-share
program
has
expanded
to
help
businesses
go
solar.
The
grant
program
helps
businesses
financially
with
air
pollution
reduction
projects,
energy
efficiency,
improvements,
cleaner,
auto
body
processes
and
their
own
innovative
concepts.
