I'm Michael Douglas in the Communications Department, with your City of Minneapolis minute at the city council's Committee of the whole regular meeting on Tuesday October, the 18th. It will conduct a public hearing on the proposed Omnibus government structure ordinance. The projected regulation would formalize the city's administrative operating structure under the mayor's Authority. Those looking to speak should register 30 minutes before the meeting fall. Street sweeping season is upon us. Minneapolis Public Works will begin its curb to curb cleaning October.

The 18th Crews will sweep about 1 000 miles of the city streets during a four-week period. This will mean some temporary posting of no parking signs. An interactive street sweeping schedule map is available on the city's website. It is mid-october, and that means many area.
