Hi everyone I'm sarah mckenzie, coming to you from inside historic minneapolis city, hall.,.

This is the minneapolis minute, a quick look at city news.,.

A

The three-year pioneering pilot program- stable homes, stable schools, has successfully launched.

A

The program provides housing to minneapolis families, experiencing homelessness and at risk of losing their homes.

A

Families of 150 elementary students have enrolled in the program.

A

15 minneapolis public schools are part of the program.

A

It's a partnership led by the city of minneapolis,, minneapolis,, public housing, authority, minneapolis, public schools and hennepin county.

A

12 art installations debut at the commons june, 14th in downtown minneapolis for the 9th annual northern spark a late night art festival.

A

This year's creative city challenge winner, radical playground, will be on display, along with 11 other. We are the commons art installations.

A

The art pieces will be on display through august.

A

Construction is underway for the southwest green line, lrt extension.

A

The metro green line will link downtown minneapolis and eden prairie when it opens in 2023.

A

In minneapolis, portions of the cedar, lake and kenneth trails have closed to accommodate construction.

A

Detour information has been posted near the trails and online.
