With the office of community safety, with your City of Minneapolis minute, the city has launched a webpage with details on the Minnesota Department of Human Rights settlement agreement process in March. The mayor and the city council approved terms of a court enforceable settlement agreement. It outlines policy, budgetary and training requirements that the Minneapolis Police, Department and City Enterprise will undertake mdhr's investigation launched on June 1st 2020 following the murder of George Floyd. It looked at MPD practices going back to 2010.. You can provide your opinion on the future location of the MPD third precinct.

Should the city keep the building in its current location, at Lake, Street and Minnehaha, or move operations somewhere else in the geographical area, residents and business owners can give feedback via an online survey or by attending one of the five Community conversations in April. The department of racial Equity, inclusion and belonging will host denim day on Wednesday April 26th in the city hall rotunda. It's part of the city's recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The department is teaming up with a sexual violence Center of Minneapolis. It will provide educational information for this awareness event.
