Hi, my name is brian smith. I'm the director of the office of performance and innovation here at the city of minneapolis.

I am taylor, crutch, johnson program manager for the office of performance and innovation.

The reimagining public safety campaign is an effort to think about public safety in a different way outside of just policing.

We learned that we needed to streamline the process away from an armed response to create a whole new program which the behavioral health crisis response team. I.

Think this effort is important because it gives community a chance to be a part of a public safety solution, as opposed to inheriting one that they had no say in. It's actually a collective effort.
