Description
Description: This video is about watching for signs of trauma in others and offering tips to best support those experiencing trauma.
A
When
you
are
your
community
deal
with
trauma,
it
can
feel
isolated
because
we
often
don't
know
how
to
support
each
other.
The
best
thing
we
can
do
is
to
get
educated
about
trauma
and
PTSD
learn
as
much
as
you
can
before.
There
is
a
problem
or
someone
goes
through
a
traumatic
event,
be
upfront
with
each
other
about
the
warning
signs
you're,
seeing
maybe
you
know
they're
seeing
your
people
have
any
difficulties
with
family
life
or
they
haven't
been
sleeping
or
they're
drinking
more.
B
Support
offer
to
listen
to
them
to
be
with
them,
create
opportunities
for
groups
to
do
things
together,
a
lot
of
times
when
we
are
going
through
something
there
is
this
presence
of
anger
which
pushes
people
away.
Don't
let
that
deter?
You
tell
them
that
you
are
willing
to
do
what
they
need
tell
them.
B
You
are
willing
to
listen
offer
to
connect
them
to
people
that
can
help
you
might
get
pushed
back,
but
your
community
members
and
family
members
are
more
likely
to
take
advice
from
you
than
from
someone
who
might
not
understand
the
stresses
of
being
in
a
black
body.
Remember,
you
are
not
defective.
Something
happened
to
you
and
your
people
and
we
are
more
resilient.
