A
A
We
ask
the
lord
that
you
watch
over
us.
You
actually
give
us
the
strength
and
intestinal
fortitude
to
do.
What
is
right
to
do
your
will
and
we
thank
you
for
always
listening
listening
to
our
prayers
amen,
I'm
going
to
call
this
meeting
to
order
of
the
march
8
2022
city
council
meeting.
Let
the
record
reflect
that
all
members
of
the
council
are
present
and
I
need
a
motion
for
the
approval
of
the
agenda.
Please.
B
A
A
motion
by
mr
little
is
there
a
second
second
second
by
ms
malcolm?
Is
there
any
discussion
hearing
none
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye.
All
opposed
like
sign
motion
carries
that
passes.
Moving
to
the
approval
of
the
consent
agenda.
This
is
the
council
minutes
and
the
redistricting
workshop
council
minutes
planning,
commission,
historic
preservation,
downtown
development
and
cvb
from
january.
I
need
a
motion
for
approval
of
the
consent
agenda.
Please.
A
A
motion
by
ms
malcolm,
is
there
a
second
second
now,
second
by
ms
crawford,
is
there
any
discussion
hearing,
none
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
aye
all
opposed,
like
son
motion,
carries
that
passes.
Moving
to
the
public
forum,
we
have
a
public
presentation
tonight
by
the
azalea
regional
library,
who
is
the
library
of
the
year.
D
Course
it's
good
to
be
here.
Well,
john,
already
stole
my
thunder
since
we
won
library
of
the
year.
If
you
all
didn't
know
it,
there's.
B
D
Nice
trophy
in
my
office
down
at
the
library
right
now,
so
if
anybody
wants
to
see
it,
please
come
by
that's
good.
I
want
to
spend
a
little
bit
of
time
telling
you
all
about
how
good
we
are,
and
then
I
want
to
ask
y'all
for
something.
D
So,
in
addition
to
all
the
things
that
y'all
probably
know
that
the
library
does
in
the
last
year,
we've
expanded
a
few
things.
We
added
something:
that's
called
a
play
card.
It's
a
pilot
program
that
the
state
of
georgia,
let
us
be
part
of
basically
a
digital,
only
card
that
is
offered
to
every
public
school
student
in
walton
county.
D
So
in
the
last
year
we've
had
about
10
000
students
take
advantage
of
this
program
that
allows
them
to
have
a
digital,
only
free
library
card
that
allows
them
to
check
out
materials
from
any
of
the
libraries
with
no
fines
or
fees.
So
it's
a
very
good
thing.
We've
seen
a
lot
of
people
coming
into
the
library
that,
for
one
reason
or
the
other,
have
never
been
there
before,
because
they've
been
able
to
participate
in
this
program,
and
it's
been
pretty
great.
D
We've
also
been
part
of
the
state's
tech
lending
program,
which
has
been
allowing
people
to
check
out,
launch
pads
and
tablets
and
various
devices
that
they
can
get
from
the
libraries
which
has
been
very
successful.
It's
given
a
lot
of
access
to
things
to
people
in
the
community
that
otherwise
wouldn't
have
that
and
it's
there.
So
if
you
need
know
anybody
who
has
that
need,
please
send
them
our
way.
The
main
thing
I
wanted
to
talk
to
you
all
about
tonight
is
the
expansion
that
we're
hoping
to
do
for
the
interior
of
the
library.
D
You
all
know:
we've
done
a
lot
of
programming
and
things
over
the
years
and
we
are
hoping
to
add
something
called
a
makerspace
into
the
library.
It
is
a
combination,
craft
stem
workspace
area
for
children
or
anybody
in
the
community
that
wants
to
be
able
to
come
in
and
work
on,
the
things
that
we
can
put
in
that
area.
It's
a
sort
of
a
craft
area
inside
the
building
and
we're
hoping
to
make
a
small
interior
modification
to
the
building
the
area
up
at
the
front
there.
D
If
you
look
in
your
packets
there's
a
page
that
says,
create
explore
and
event
makerspace
we're
hoping
for
a
small
amount
of
money
from
the
city
that
can
be
matched
by
the
state
to
put
doors
into
that
area.
That
will
allow
us
to
close
off
that
space
so
for
any
interior
inside
the
building
programming,
we're
doing
things
like
story
times
movie
nights,
master,
gardener,
lectures
anytime.
We
need
to
close
off
that
area
where
people
can
use
it.
That
would
allow
us
to
do
that
and
not
be
disruptive
for
the
rest
of
the
building.
D
So
basically,
what
we're
talking
about
is
turning
that
front
area
into
the
building
into
an
enclosable
space
with
some
sliding
doors,
and
if
the
city
is
willing
to
match
half
of
the
money
for
that
space,
then
the
state
will
cover
the
other
half
so
we're
basically
talking
about
four
thousand
two
hundred
and
fifty
dollars
and
then
eight
thousand
five
hundred
dollars,
total
counting
for
the
state
match
and
it'll.
Let
us
do
all
the
cool
stuff
that
we
do
better.
D
D
A
We
will
discuss
that
that
4250
is
a
great
idea
and
I
appreciate
what
you've
done
over
there.
I
mean
that
was
just
a
a
vital
part
of
our
community,
and
I
appreciate
the
fact
y'all
are
there.
I
do.
D
A
A
Yes,
sir,
moving
to
public
comment,
we
had
no
one
sign
up
tonight,
so
we'll
move
to
our
business
items.
I
need
a
city
administrator
update,
please,
mr
probes.
E
Thank
you
mayor,
see,
sadie
has
joined
us
wanted
her
to
give
an
update
on
her
comprehensive
plan
and,
what's
going
on
with
it
at
the
moment,.
F
Yes,
thank
you
very
much.
We
had
our
last
public
engagement
meeting
at
team
up
mentoring
and
then
we
had
our
steering
committee
meeting
last
friday,
so
we're
getting
close
to
the
plan
being
formalized
into
a
draft
version,
and
so
the
last
public
engagement
opportunity
will
be
march.
18Th.
That's
a
friday
it'll
be
here
in
the
council
chambers.
It's
from
4
4
p.m,
to
7
p.m.
F
A
F
Not
surprised
the
best
feedback
is
once
around
the
tables.
They
started
working
with
the
maps
and
defining
the
character
areas.
It
was
good,
it's
it's
heavy
in
planning,
so
it's
it's
a
hard,
it's
hard
for
the
average
citizen
to
engage,
because
so
much
of
it
is
heavy
in
planning,
details
and
transportation
and
those
needs,
but
the
feedback
was
really
helpful
and
the
steering
committee
took
it
a
little
further
when
they
met
and
kind
of
went
further
with
the
map.
E
In
brief,
too,
we
have
been
working
with
walton
county
on
the
eastbound
on
ramp,
we've
gotten
through
or
they're
almost
through,
with
the
property
acquisition
for
the
home
depot
area
finishing
that
up
this
week,
and
then
that
keeps
us
in
the
funding
cycle
to
have
that
contract
let
this
year
this
summer.
So
that's
a
biggie
to
get
that
moving
forward
with
the
state
covering
almost
all
of
the
construction
costs.
There
remember
we
entered
that
in
into
that
agreement.
I
think
in
late
2018,
so
we're
finally
seeing
it
through
2022.
G
G
Quick
update,
cdbg
2020,
is
moving
along.
We've
got
an
estimated
completion
date
of
sometime
in
june
of
this
year.
That'll
be
final
millin
paving
everything
done.
They
are
making
good
headway,
they're
working
in
tighter
areas
around
mobley
circle
right
now,
but
they've
got
multiple
crews
on
site
and
they've
actually
done
a
very
good
job.
From
what
I've
seen
and
from
what
different
areas
and
different
residents
in
that
area
have
said
the
airport,
I
will
have
a
terminal
building
bids
in
front
of
you
guys
tonight.
Actually
I
think
it's
next
on
the
agenda.
G
Take
a
look
at.
They
came
in
a
little
over
the
estimate,
but
I've
been
on
the
phone
for
probably
two
solid
weeks
with
the
state
working
on
additional
funding
and
I
think
we're
going
to
be
okay
city,
brandon
logo.
You
should
start
seeing
vehicles
and
whatnot
with
the
logos
changed
out
on
them.
Hopefully
before
the
next
council
meet,
we
are
working
on
our
final
bids
and
getting
everything
done.
The
entrance
sign
that
we've
been
working
on
at
across
from
bojangles.
G
G
G
G
Street
storm
water.
We've
got
a
couple
of
alleyway
projects
coming
up,
we're
waiting
on
an
easement
for
one
and
then
weather
to
work
with
us
and
cooperate
on
the
other
lmig.
I
think
the
schedule
is
looking
like,
maybe
june,
of
this
year
to
work
on
those
areas
and
then
streets
made
a
cip
purchase
this
week
of
a
new
ac
machine
and
then
the
only
other
thing
is
the
great
american
cleanup
week,
but
I
think
danny
the
mayor
will
take
care
of
that
here
in
just
a
little
bit
from
lee
earlier.
G
The
car
show
may
be
moved
this
saturday
to
the
19th
because
of
the
way
the
weather
looks
with
wind
and
temperatures
and
precipitation.
So
we'll
we'll
take
a
gamble.
Perhaps
on
the
19th
but
we'll
send
that
out
officially,
maybe
in
the
next
day
or
so
so
any
questions
I'll
be
happy
to
answer.
Are
there
any
questions?
Chris.
A
You
did
say
matthew's
at
the
pad
pave
today.
G
The
concrete
pad
for
the
new
pavilion
was
poor
today
excellent.
Thank
you
prior
to
the
rain.
Thankfully,.
A
Perfect
moving
to
department
requests,
you
want
to
go
ahead
and
talk
about
the
terminal
building.
G
G
G
Originally,
our
portion
was
a
hundred
thirty,
seven
thousand
five
hundred
dollars
currently
with
state
funding.
It
would
be
two
hundred
seven
thousand
five
hundred
thirty
six
dollars
and
seventy
eight
cents
if
you'll
flip
to
the
next
last
page,
I
think,
there's
a
breakdown
of
where
the
actuals
are
aip.
Funding
we
were
able
to
use
166
000
state
is
actually
bumping
their
grant
numbers
to
623
000
roughly
so
that
leaves
us
with
that.
G
207
thousand,
that
is
our
responsibility,
terminal
building's
something
that's
been
on
the
cip
radar
for
my
involvement
since
august
of
2015
at
the
airport.
It
was
always
one
of
those,
far
out
kind
of
projects,
meaning
time
not
concept,
but
it's
kind
of
that
next
step
thing
that
we
can
put
at
the
airport.
You
know
your
maintenance
improvements.
Your
safety
improvements
have
all
been
done.
G
G
G
G
Currently
we
do
not
have
that
type.
I
mean
we
have
a
small
pilot's
lounge
that
sits
in
the
side,
but
it's
it's
literally
a
sofa
and
a
chair.
You've
got
a
computer
set
up
for
a
business
center.
There's
really
nowhere
out
there
to
conduct
meetings
to
there's
just
not
that
welcome
that.
Welcome
mat!
That's
rolled
out,
so
it's
it's
more,
the
it's
the
draw
and
it's
that
next
thing
that
kind
of
pushes
us
to
that
next
level.
G
G
That's
yeah
I
mean
the
next
low
bid
was
1.2
but
yeah
it's
1912
square
feet.
I
believe
that's
what
it
shows
our
portion's
207
000.
G
It's
the
next
thing
you
would
need
at
the
airport
if
you
want
to
continue
to
grow
it.
If
you
want
to
continue
to
lure
to
lure
some
industry
to
the
monroe
area,
I
think
having
that
ability
to
to
have
a
conference
room
where
businesses
can
actually
have
meetings
there
on
site
as
opposed
to.
Currently
they
really
don't.
Have
that
and
it's
something
that's
been
in
the
cip.
I
know
since
2015
that
was
actually
pushed
by
the
advisory
committee
and
that
the
the
state
is.
I
know,
they're
funding
at
least
five
currently.
I
I
G
I
I
J
G
A
I
Thank
you
mayor.
What
we're
bringing
for
the
council
night
is
the
approval
to
purchase
the
rubber
flooring
that
will
go
in
our
gym
fitness
training
area
when
we,
when
the
new
police
department
was
constructed.
That
was
one
of
the
things
we
implemented
in
design
was
have
an
area
where
we
can
actually
do
physical
training
and
also
do
our
all
of
our
defensive
tactics,
training
and
then
moving
forward
and
developing
that
area.
I
This
is
just
a
first
step
and
that
is
purchasing
of
this
rubber
flooring
of
a
cost
of
about
14
340
and
we're
looking
at
getting
that
cost
out
of
our
asset
forfeiture
account
and
just
need
the
council
to
prove
to
be
able
to
move
forward.
The
purchase
of
that.
Thank
you.
A
I
have
a
motion
to
approve
by
mr
bradley.
Is
there
a
second
second
second
by
mr
gregory?
Is
there
any
discussion
hearing,
none
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
aye.
All
opposed
like
sign
motion
carries
that
passes.
Moving
to
public
works,
great
american
cleanup
work
danny.
You
want
to
take
this
one.
I
We're
asking
your
approval
to
designate
the
week
of
april
the
18th
through
22nd
for
the
great
american
cleanup
week.
Transfer
station
opens
up
and
allows
citizens
to
come
by
and
help
spring
clean
and
dump
all
of
their
items
for
free,
perfect
and
on
the
april.
22Nd
is
earth
day,
so
we're
participating
in
that
event.
A
Great
and
we'll
have
the
19th,
the
car
show
the
23rd
our
community
cleanup.
I
As
well,
yes-
and
we
will
be
open
from
9
to
12
on
that
23rd.
A
Are
we
going
to
put
out
roll
off
dumpsters
anywhere
this
year.
I
Want
that
was
pretty
challenging,
so
we
probably
won't
do
that,
but
we'll
make
any
other
container
available
if
we
were
asked
to
do.
I
A
Motion
to
approve
by
ms
malcolm
is
there
a
second
second
second
by
ms
crawford.
Is
there
any
discussion
hearing,
none
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
aye.
All
opposed
like
sign
motion
carries
that
passes.
Thank
you,
danny.
I'm
moving
to
the
additional
cip
funds
for
the
purchase
of
bucket
trucks.
Mr
thompson,
thank.
K
You
mayor,
as
it
seems
with
everything
we're
purchasing
now
the
cost
has
gone
up
from
the
time
we
got
this
approved
in
the
cip
process
to
the
time
we
actually
went
to
get
the
po.
What
we
got
approved
from
bid
back
in
budget
process
was
three
hundred
twenty
three
thousand
five
hundred
dollars,
and
now
the
cost
is
three
hundred
forty
thousand
and
sixty
six
dollars.
This
is
for
two
bucket
trucks.
One
is
37
foot
and
one
is
a
55
foot
and
to
let
you
know
the
37
foot
truck.
K
K
I
A
Second
by
mr
gregory,
is
there
any
discussion
hearing,
none
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye.
All
opposed
like
sign
motion
carries
that
passes,
move
into
utilities,
purchase
of
the
zcorum
streaming
products
and
support
mr
thompson.
Thank
you,
mayor.
K
K
As
you
know,
our
existing
tv
product
is
just
economically
and
technologically
untenable,
so
we've
been
looking
for
a
replacement.
If
you
do
approve
this,
we
will
roll
this
out
to
our
fiber
customers.
First,
we
will
come
with
a
retail
rate
which
will
be
at
or
lower
than
our
existing
rate
with
a
much
better
product.
Hopefully
in
may
I
mean
I
just
need
to
go
ahead
and
make
this
purchase
to
get
the
hardware
here.
It's
gonna
take
several
months
to
get
the
hardware
here
before
we
can
launch
this
product.
K
Logan
can
probably
speak
to
this
as
well
as
anyone
he's
looked
at
it
as
much
as
anyone
that
is
in
his
office,
along
with
my
staff
at
their
home.
We
did
have
some
issues
with
the
product
initially,
and
the
vendor
has
really
worked
with
us
and
got
the
product
up
to
what
I
think
is
a
class
a
product.
E
Yeah,
like
I
think
I
told
you
all
a
while
back
swing
by
the
office
upstairs
you
can
play
around
with
it,
but
it's
a
pretty
slick
product
has
that
more
tv
feel
it
doesn't
have
one
two
three
on
the
remote,
but
it
has
a
remote
you
can
scroll
up
and
down.
You
can
record
shows
it's
very
much
like
a
dish
network
or
something
along
those
lines.
So
it's
it's
pretty
slick
package
and
we
can
price
it
much
better
than
our
current
cable,
offering
too.
K
Oh
about
250
300,
I
think
that's
our
number.
I
can
get
you
that
exact
number
send
that
ball
apart.
240.
K
beth's
got
a
better
better
mind
for
numbers
than
I
have,
but
we
would
roll
this
out
to
our
cable
modem
customers
once
we
launch
it
and
see
what
the
what
the
impact
of
the
system
will
be,
but,
like
logan
said,
this
is
something
that
we
have
really
been
pushed
by
our
customers,
that
they
want
a
more
tv
type
experience
than
the
normal
streaming
product,
the
normal
streaming
product,
you're
controlling
it
with
your
phone
or
your
tv
remote
that
you
have
this
is
this
can
be
that
it
can
be
that
streaming
over
your
phone
or
it
can
be
what
logan
said
a
a
more
tv
type
product.
K
This
is-
and
this
is
a
I
mean
eighty
thousand
dollars,
I'm
not
gonna,
say
that's
a
low
amount
of
money.
Some
of
the
vendors
we
looked
at
the
equipment
costs
were
half
a
million
and
then
the
month
the
month
costs
were
much
more
expensive.
This
is
a
local
company
that
we've
worked
with
for
over
there
out
of
south
georgia
worked
with
them
for
over
15
years,
they've
had
a
good
record
with
us,
and
we
may
actually
be
bringing
some
other
products
back
to
buy
from
him
shortly
to
save
some
more
money.
H
K
K
K
H
I
K
K
Package
and
it's
a
substantially
better
package
than
we're
offering
today
at
a
substantially
lower
rate
than
we're
paying
today.
Now
what
you're
not
seeing
there
is
the
off-air
cost
that
we
will
have.
We
will
still
have
to
negotiate
with
the
off
airs
the
two
five
eight
eleven
thirty
six,
forty
sixes,
that
number.
K
A
I
K
H
K
I
K
K
B
K
K
There
are
limits
to
the
amount
of
bandwidth
to
the
cable
tv
plant
internet
that
are
not
on
the
fiber
internet
and
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
we
see
those
impacts
so
we'll
know
once
we
turn
it
on
we'll
be
able
to
look
at
it
on
the
fiber
side
and
say
this
is
the
impact
and
we'll
know
exactly
and
they've
told
me
these
guys.
You
know
they're,
but
they're
salesmen
they're,
trying
to
sell
me
a
product.
J
K
K
K
That
would
go
to
to
like
a
hotel
or
the
hospital
or
to
hospitals
and
hotels.
K
E
K
E
K
We,
I
think
we
push
all
our
stuff
over
to
to
youtube
like
we're
doing
now,
like
this
meeting's
on
youtube
live
now.
I
think
we
push
all
everybody
suck
it
in.
It's
a
big.
A
K
It's
been
a
lot
tonight,
so
the
second
biggest
well,
actually,
the
first
biggest
request
we
get
from
our
customer
when
we
go
install
any
type
of
internet
service
to
their
home,
whether
that
be
fiber,
whether
that
be
cable
based
is
where's.
My
router,
that's
the
first
question
we
get.
We
don't
supply
a
wi-fi
router
now,
one
of
the
reasons
we've
done,
that
is,
it's
always
been
employee,
intensive
managing
that.
K
Well,
I'm
managing
it
anyway.
When
the
customer
calls
and
says
they
have
a
problem,
we
have
to
go
out
and
investigate,
we
have
to
figure
out
whether
that
is
their
wi-fi
or
whether
it
is
our
equipment,
we're
already
doing
the
work
and,
at
the
end
of
the
day,
when
we
tell
the
customer
well,
it's
your
wi-fi
box.
Well,
they're
mad
nobody's
happy
with
us
and
we're
not
making
any
revenue
off
of
it
and
we're
going
back
to
the
office
with
a
mad
customer.
So
what
we
started
looking
at
is
what
other
internet
providers
do.
K
What
does
wind
stream?
What's?
Charter
do
what's
comcast
do
and
what
they
do
is
they
push
their
managed
wi-fi
to
their
customer
comcast
charges?
I
believe
mike
mcguire's
bill
is
about
23
24
a
month
for
a
managed
wi-fi
product,
we're
again
going
to
bring
you
a
retail
rate,
and
maybe
it's
going
to
be
nowhere
near
that
we've
added
four
or
five
different.
Wi-Fi
providers
got
down
to
two
one
supplied
by
or
supported
by
a
company
we
use
called
adtran.
K
It
was
a
plume
product
and
one
from
a
company
called
caleb
or
calyx.
They
provide
all
the
in-home
wi-fi
equipment
for
one
of
our
competitors,
comcast
and
after
three
or
four
months
of
looking
at
the
product.
Looking
at
the
management
software
calyx
one
out,
the
calyx
interface
is
easy,
and
so
what
could
happen
once
if
you
all
approve
this
and
a
customer
wants
us
to
supply
the
wi-fi
is
when
the
customer
calls
in
we're
having
a
problem.
K
Well,
my
guy
can
look
at
our
internet
equipment
and
he
can
look
at
this
wi-fi
equipment
and
he
can
see
if
there
is
actually
a
problem
with
either.
If
there
is,
he
can
fix
it
remotely
90
of
the
time,
and
if
there
isn't,
we
can
do
a
truck
roll.
The
other
issue
is
that
they've
already
fixed
is:
we've
got
small
houses,
we've
got
big
houses
and
a
small
house.
One
unit
works
fine.
Well
in
a
big
house,
you
might
walk
together
in
a
house.
K
You
got
no
or
you
got
a
tv
down
here
that
gets
no
internet
on
this
side
of
the
house.
You
got
great
internet,
we
don't
have
a
solution
for
that
problem.
For
that
customer
now.
Well,
with
the
calyx
system,
you
will
you'll
have
a
mesh
system
where
you
can
put
extenders
throughout
the
home.
Now
all
this
comes
with
the
price
as
what
lj
telephone
does.
Is
they
charge
you
one
fee
for
the
main
unit
and
then
for
every
additional
mesh
unit?
You
have
it's
another
fee,
so
there's
a
revenue
stream
to
pay
for
this.
K
With
our
proposal
here
from
calyx,
there
was
a
fee
put
in
a
very
low
fee
to
make
sure
it
would
be
a
payback,
and
I
believe
that
payback
was
in
36
months.
K
I
think
we
can
go
a
little
bit
higher
than
that
and
get
a
24
to
28
month
payback
and
give
our
customers
what
they
want.
They
want
us
to
provide
the
wi-fi
and
it's
optional.
Let's
say
the
customer
says
I
got
my
own
router.
I
want
to
handle
it
myself.
That's
fine!
Do
it
yourself?
K
I
would
not
do
that.
I
would
buy.
I
mean
I'd
pay
for
the
router
and
pay
for
the
service,
but
my
telecom
guys
would
die
if
you
made
them
do
it.
You
know
they
want
to
do
it
themselves
and
that's
totally
up
to
the
customer.
So
what
we
have
is
a
proposal
for
the
equipment,
the
management,
it's
about
1600
units,
a
mixture
of
big
unit,
small
units
and
mesh
units,
plus
the
ability
to
manage
this
software
or
to
manage
these
units
for
this
this
one
year.
K
So
that's
a
total
of
213
thousand
dollars
for
equipment,
and
then
you
see
the
the
monthly
non
I
mean
the
monthly
recurring
on
there.
This
will
all
be
paid
for
in
a
retail
rate.
I
think
we
get
better
penetration
than
this.
We've
got
about
4,
000,
internet
customers,
we're
you
know,
we're
getting
about
1
600
units
and
get
started,
but
as
you're
paying
that
fee
that
funds
that
capitalize,
like
we
do
with
our
cable
modems
like
we
do
with
our
fiber
needs
all
that
can
fund
itself
with
a
with
a
revenue
stream
and
I'll.
I
K
Right
now
they
are
we're
looking
at.
I
might
have
to
call
mike
out
here
to
answer
that
question,
as
specifically
as
you
need,
but
right
now
we're
looking
at
the
gigaspires,
which
are
the
big
unit
which
starts
it
off,
and
then
it
has
two
different
types
of
mesh
to
handle
what
I
think
you're
talking
about
in
the
older
houses,
with
the
with
the
lath
and
and
plaster
it
causes
some
issues.
Yes
and.
K
Houses
with
that
laugh
and
and
stuff
gives
us
gives
this
trouble
gives
everybody
trouble,
but
I
believe
we
will
be
able
to
approach
that
that
problem
better
with
this
system.
Okay,
you.
J
K
I
I
see
you
know
again,
I
want
to
get
with
logan
and
beth,
but
I
see
a
sub
10
a
month
for
the
main
unit
and
then
four
to
five
dollars
a
month
for
every
additional
unit
would
be
our
suggestion.
J
J
K
A
K
K
A
A
Yeah
good
idea,
any
other
comments,
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye.
All
opposed
like
sign
motion
carries
that
passes
again
this
week.
Moving
to
old
business
again
this
week,
we'll
move
to
table
river
point.
Do
I
need
a
motion
to
table
that.
E
Yes,
they
have
requested
tabling
to
the
next
month,
as
we
continue
to
work
on
water,
sewer
and
traffic
negotiations
within
that
development
agreement.
C
A
Motion
by
miss
malcolm
is
there
a
second
second
second
bye
we're
going
to
give
that
one
to
moshe
crawford
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
aye.
All
opposed,
like
sign
motion,
carries
we'll
revisit
that
next
month,
moving
to
new
business,
the
appointment
of
the
tree
board-
just
I
think
I
might
have
mentioned
this
last
month.
This
was
our
14th
straight
year
as
a
united
states
tree
city,
this
board
is
very
active.
Chris
carroll
has
resigned
her
position
on
the
tree
board
that
was
to
expire
march,
1st
2023
and
lynn.
A
A
A
motion
by
ms,
malcolm
and
second
by
mr
bradley,
is
there
any
discussion
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
aye
all
opposed,
like
son
motion
carries
that
passes.
Also,
just
so
you
know,
chris
bailey
will
be
taking
sadie's
place
on
the
tree
board
and
brad
calendar
will
be
taking
brian
thompson's
see,
even
though
brian
argued
and
wanted
to
keep
the
seat
on
the
tree
board.
Moving
to
the
second
reading
of
the
zoning
ordinance
code
text
amendment:
are
there
any
questions
regarding
the
ordinance?
A
Motion
by
miss
malcolm
to
approve
is
there
a
second
second?
Second,
mr
gregory?
Is
there
any
discussion
hearing,
none
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
aye.
All
opposed
like
sign
motion
carries
that
passes.
That
was
much
easier,
paul.
Moving
to
the
resolution
of
georgia
city's
week
april
24th
through
the
30th
mr
probst.
E
Thank
you
mayor
again.
We
do
this
every
year
resolution
recognizing
and
celebrating
georgia
city's
week,
and
you
know
just
for
me
personally.
I've
worked
on
both
sides
of
the
house,
a
county
and
a
city,
and
a
city
is
just
so
much
more
dynamic
than
a
county
government,
and
you
get
you
just
get
so
much
more
done.
You
get
the
flavor
of
the
community
every
day
when
you
come
to
work
and,
and
I'm
just
I'm
proud
of
monroe
and
proud
to
be
one
of
georgia's
dynamic
cities.
A
Thank
you
logan.
As
a
matter
of
fact
it
when
we
do
the
showdown
in
savannah
with
gma,
we
do
need
to
take
that
flag
for
our
parade
of
flags
and
we
need
to
discuss
further
the
flag
issue
as
we
go
to
this
council
wish
to
have
that
resolution.
Read.
A
Hearing
nothing
I'll
entertain
a
motion
move
to
approve
a
motion
to
approve
of
mr
gregory.
Is
there
a
second
second,
the
second
by
ms
malcolm?
Is
there
any
discussion
hearing,
none
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
aye.
All
opposed
like
sign
motion
carries
that
passes.
Moving
to
the
resolution
of
the
chief
of
drinking
water
state,
revolving
fund
loan,
dq2021017.
F
Thank
you
mayor.
As
you
all
might
remember,
we
did
a
resolution
back
in
september
to
apply
for
this
loan.
This
will
be
a
2
million
935
000
loan
from
the
drinking
water
state
revolving
fund,
which
is
administered
by
gifa
it'll,
be
at
a
20-year
1.13
interest
rate.
F
B
A
All
opposed
like
sign
motion
carries
that
passes.
Moving
to
the
2021
budget
budget,
amendment
resolution
ms
thompson.
F
Thank
you
mayor.
These
are
the
year-end
2021
budget
amendments
that
are
needed
to
be
in
compliance
with
the
state
of
georgia
criteria,
and
these
are
actually
to
increase
revenues
and
to
increase
expenses
over
what
we
had
budgeted
and
when
we
did
the
2021
budget.
Obviously
that
was
at
the
end
of
2020.
F
We
were
very
conservative
on
how
we
did
our
budget,
as
you
all
remember,
in
those
budget
meetings,
because
that
was
at
the
very
beginning
or
right
in
the
middle
of
the
pandemic.
But
monroe
did
very
well
and
our
revenues
exceeded
what
we
had
budgeted
by
2.2
million
dollars
and
our
expenses
exceeded
what
we
budgeted
by
1.8
million.
So
this
is
just
to
get
those
in
line,
so
we
have
a
balanced
budget.
So
we
can
move
forward
to
end
our
audit
and
give
this
to
our
auditors.
A
A
Hear
nothing
free
from
either
I'll
entertain.
A
motion
move
to
approve
a
motion
by
mr
gregory
to
approve.
Is
there
a
second
second
second
by
mr
little?
Is
there
any
discussion
hearing
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
aye,
all
opposed,
like
sign
motion
carries
that
passes.
Moving
to
the
resolution
opposing
house
bill,
1093
senate
bill,
494
and
limitations
on
the
municipalities
authority,
mr
probs.
E
Thank
you
mayor.
There's
a
couple
bills
down
at
the
gold
dome
that
are
cause
for
concern,
and
many
many
cities
and
counties
are
taking
up
resolutions
and
opposition
of
these
bills.
Hb
1093
and
sb
494.
E
This
is
really
aimed
at
ensuring
that
rent
to
own
subdivisions
are
allowed
anywhere
and
everywhere.
There's
a
lot
of
dynamics
to
those
those
types
of
decisions
and
those
types
of
neighborhoods,
and
you
know,
they're
trying
to
make
it
kind
of
a
one
size
fits
all
for
all
communities
and
that's
not
really.
E
How
how
we've
been
operating
and
how
our
structures
are
operating
removes
a
lot
of
that
home
rule
decision
making.
So
before
you
is
a
resolution,
it
can
be
read
or
it
can
be
right
here
for
you
to
read,
but
that's
that's
the
gist
of
it.
It
really
takes
away
a
lot
of
our
power
at
the
local
level,
and
there
are
also
some
really
strange
punitive
measures
in
there
that
I
have
never
seen
in
my
years
in
government
whereby
they
will
strip
the
local
government's
qualified
status.
E
I
I
A
B
B
It
offends
me
because
these
are
legislators.
Who'll
tell
you,
oh
I'm
all
for
small
government
and
local
government
and
not
centralized
big
government
and
all
this
bull.
That's
exactly
what
this
is.
It's
take
the
power
away
from
the
people.
Take
the
power
away
from
the
cities,
take
the
power
away
from
the
counties
and
give
it
to
a
bunch
of
people,
who've
gotten
a
bunch
of
money
to
fund
their
campaign,
so
they
can
sit
in
their
seats
up
there
awful
and
I'm
fully
prepared
to
make
the
motion
that
we
adopt
the
resolution.
I
would
like.
H
H
This
is
a
state
taking
away
your
power
to
regulate
your
local
government,
and
I
would
hope
that
our
citizens
that
might
be
listening
in
tonight,
as
well
as
those
that
might
read
about
this
in
the
media,
which
will
cover
it
very
well,
I'm
sure
that
they
contact
representative
williamson
and
senator
couser,
our
local
representatives,
and
let
them
know
that
the
citizens
of
monroe
should
be
the
ones
in
charge
of
monroe
and
not
legislators
in
atlanta.
This
is,
I
agree
with
mr
dickinson.
L
You
mayor
this
is
a
resolution.
The
mayor
and
council
of
the
city
monroe
georgia
opposing
house
bill,
1093
and
senate
bill
494
and
opposing
limitations
on
a
municipality's
authority
to
make
housing
land
use
and
zoning
decisions
within
a
local
government's
geographical
boundaries.
Whereas
the
mayor
and
the
council
of
city
monroe,
georgia
have
reviewed
house
bill,
1093
and
senate
bill
494
of
the
bills
currently
being
considered
in
the
georgia
general
assembly
and
whereas
the
bills
would
prohibit
local
governments
from
addressing
newly
developed
corporate
rental
subdivisions
through
any
regulation
restriction
or
condition.
L
That
is
not
the
same
for
single
family
residential
areas
and
whereas
the
bills
are
aimed
at
allowing
unlimited
access
for
corporations
to
develop,
build
to
rent
subdivisions
which
vary
greatly
in
price
quality
management
and
tenant
protections.
And
whereas
the
city
opposes
the
bills.
For
a
number
of
reasons,
including
the
fact
that
the
georgia
constitution
recognizes
zoning
and
land
use.
L
Decisions
are
core
functions
of
local
governments,
and
housing
is
a
large
component
of
those
decisions
and
whereas
local
elected
officials
are
responsible
for
ensuring
affordable,
predictable
housing
options
within
their
respective
communities
and
whereas
such
housing
and
land
use
decisions
are
best
made
at
the
local
level,
through
comprehensive
planning
and
system
input,
and
whereas
to
ensure
vibrant
and
sustainable
communities.
Local
governments
require
flexibility
to
decide
what
is
appropriate
for
their
communities.
L
And
whereas
good
public
policy
requires
a
balance
of
housing
options
to
meet
individual
needs.
However,
the
bills
remove
local
decision
making
from
the
type
and
mix
of
housing
available,
and
whereas
the
superiority
of
local
determination
of
the
type
of
housing
available
in
a
community
is
one
reason
why
local
government,
control
of
zoning
and
land
use
is
enshrined
in
the
georgia's
state
constitution.
L
And
whereas
the
removal
of
local
oversight
and
the
negating
of
local
policy
goals
inherent
in
the
bills
allow
outside
forces
to
determine
the
type
of
housing
available
in
a
community
with
no
need
to
work
with
existing
community
stakeholders
wishing
to
have
a
voice
in
the
process
and
whereas
protecting
property
rights
is
an
important
component
of
good
public
policy.
But
good
public
policy
also
takes
into
consideration
the
property
rights,
property
values
and
the
neighborhood
characteristics
that
purchasers
relied
on
when
investing
their
life.
Savings
in
their
current
home
now,
therefore
be
resolved
by
the
mayor
and
council.
L
The
city
monroe
georgia.
This
governing
body,
hereby
objects
to
and
opposes
any
legislation
or
act,
limiting
a
local
government's
authority
to
make
land
use
and
zoning
decisions
within
its
geographical
boundaries
and
be
it
further
hereby
resolved
that
a
copy
of
this
resolution
shall
be
delivered
to
each
member
of
the
georgia
house
of
representatives
and
senate
representing
the
city
of
monroe
and
made
available
for
distribution
to
the
public,
and
the
press
so
adopted
this
eighth
day
of
march
2022.
That
is
the
resolution
mayor.
Thank.

Thank

mr

as
required

I

A
F
The
resolution
for
the
application
of
the
cdbg
2022-
and
I
don't
know
off
top
of
my
head
what
area
this
is
for
chris.
I
can't
remember
we
have
so
many
projects
going
on.
E
A
Thank
you,
rodney,
sorry,
beth.
Are
there
any
questions
for
rodney.
J
A
A
Does
the
council
wish
to
have
the
resolution
read
I
don't
okay
hearing
and
I'll
entertain
a
motion.
I'd
like
to
recuse
myself.
A
J
B
A
Second,
by
nathan,
yeah
mr
little
any
discussion
hearing,
none
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye,
all
opposed
like
sign
motion
carries
that
passes.
Moving
to
the
opioid
settlements,
logan
or
paul,
who
wants
it.
E
I
mean
in
brief:
we
recommend
joining
two
proposed
opioid
settlements
against
distributors
and
j
j
that
will
provide
a
substantial
amount
of
funding
to
help
us
combat
the
opioid
epidemic
here
in
monroe.
That's
that
we've
seen
throughout
the
united
states
paul
has
the
legal
particulars
on
these.
That's
it's
a
sizable
sizable
settlement
agreement.
L
No
just
that
we
have
to
take
it
as
it
is.
This
is
settlement
between
the
distributors
and
one
group
of
the
manufacturers.
One
of
the
other
groups
is
set
to
go
to
trial
later
this
year
in
the
mdl.
It's
very
complex
litigation,
that's
being
handled
with
multiple
attorney
generals
involved
and
multiple
law
firms
involved,
but
we
would
recommend
that
you
adopt
this
because
we
had
talked
about
this
two
years
ago.
L
I
think,
when
sort
of
the
plaintiff's
firms
were
running
around
doing
this
getting
all
this
and
and
our
advice
was
don't
get
in
it
right
then
it'll
most
likely
come
down
the
pipeline
with
class
action
or
mdl
multi-district
litigation,
which
is
what's
happened.
You've
got
these
settlements,
we're
a
very,
very
small
percentage
of
a
25
allotment
for
the
cities,
which
comes
out
of
a
two
and
a
half
percent
2.788
allotment
to
the
state
of
georgia,
so
essentially
rough
numbers.
L
If
my
math
is
right,
there's
going
to
be
about
160
million,
going
down
to
the
cities
of
georgia
eventually,
and
this
is
spread
out
over
time-
it's
not
one
lump
sum
payment.
It's
it's
spread
out
over
a
good
bit
of
time
like
almost
10
years,
but
if
my
math
is
right,
it's
about
250,
000
plus
dollars
that
would
that
would
ultimately
end
up
at
the
city.
L
It
does
have
to
be
used
for
very
specific
opioid
epidemic
abatement
procedures
are
outlined
under
the
trust
agreements
and
we
can
get
into
those
with
ms
thompson
once
the
once.
The
money
starts
showing
up,
but
most
likely,
I'm
just
guessing
one
of
the
easiest
ways
to
do.
It
is
through
public
safety's
budgets,
because
they're
going
to
be
your
primary
folks
coming
into
contact
with
people
that
are
having
problems
with
opioid
addictions,
so
I'll
be
happy
to
answer
any
question.
We
do
recommend
that
you
adopt
the
agreement.
L
It
does
have
to
be
opted
into
by
the
end
of
this
month.
So
this
is
your
chance
to
do
it
unless
we
call
a
special
meeting
sometime
before
march
31st.
So
we
would
recommend
that
you
agree
to
consent
to
drop
into
the
distributors
settlement
and
the
j
and
j
settlement.
H
Recuse
myself
from
discussion
and
voting
on
this,
neither
some
stock
holdings
in
one
of
the
companies.
Yes,
my
understanding
that
the
amount
of
stock
does
not
cause
me
to
be
required
to
recuse
myself
out
of
the
in
discussions
with
the
attorney
our
code
on.
That
is
a
little
fuzzy,
so
I
will
recuse
myself
ethical
reason.
A
Move
to
approve,
I
have
a
motion
to
approve
by
mr
gregory.
Is
there
a
second
second
second
by
ms
crawford?
Is
there
any
discussion
hearing
not
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye?
All
opposed,
like
sign
motion
carries
that
passes
with
mr
bradley
abstaining
moving
to
phase
two
traffic
calming
bid
awards,
mr
probes.
E
All
right
finally
phase
two:
these
are
before
us.
I've
been
talking
about
it
for
a
long
time
now
I
would
recommend
the
approval
of
the
award
to
tryscapes
he's
done
some
work
with
us
in
the
past,
at
587,
790
and
21
cents,
and
this
is
for
the
sections
of
west
highland
avenue,
barrett
street
north
midland
avenue,
south
madison
avenue
and
belker
street
and
tri
scapes
was
the
only
responsive
bidder.
A
A
We
had
a
group
that
come
came
in
off
of
felker,
expressed
their
issues
improved
the
their
need
for
traffic
calming
on
on
the
streets
and,
and
the
team
here
of
course,
listened
and
now
you're
gonna
we're
gonna
be
able
to
address
that
that
issue,
and
I
was
pleased
with
the
whole
whole
way
the
process
worked.
Are
there
any
other
questions
for
logan
I'll
entertain?
A
motion
move
to
approve,
have
a
motion
by
mr
gregory
to
approve?
Is
there
a
second.
B
A
E
All
right,
we
were
approached
by
walton
county
water
and
the
chairman
about
being
able
to
serve
parcels
out
of
macedonia
church
road
out
in
northeast
walton
county.
Our
lines
are
less
than
1500
feet
from
these
homes.
Walden
county
is
like
two
and
a
half
miles.
I
believe
in
that
right,
rodney
from
from
these
three
parcels,
the
the
amount
of
money
for
them
to
install
these
services
right
now,
which
is
astronomical
on
the
county
and
the
residents.
E
So
I
mean
the
ultimate
goal
here
is
to
provide
people
with
water,
their
wells-
we're
not
viable,
so
it
just
makes
sense
for
us
to
just
drop
some
surplus
pipe
in
the
ground
and
serve
people
with
water
at
the
end
of
the
agreement.
Basically,
we
can
serve
them
until
the
county
gets
there.
That's
that's
the
general
agreement.
How
long
that
will
be?
I
don't
know,
could
be
five
years
could
be
15
years
or
more.
E
I
don't
it's
a
lot
of
line
for
them
to
run,
but
tap
fees
will
be
paid
to
the
city,
and
then
the
county
would
eventually
buy
us
out
when
the
time
comes.
A
A
motion
to
approve
by
mr
dickinson
is
there
a
second
second
second
by
ms
malcolm
sorry,
tyler?
That's
all
right!
Any
discussion
hearing,
none
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
aye.
All
opposed
like
sign
motion,
carries
that
passes.
Thank
you
for
doing
that.
Logan
moving
to
district
items.
Does
any
anyone
have
anything
to
report
from
we'll
kind
of
go
in
order.
Miss
malcolm
it's
crawford?
I
J
Tyler,
thank
you,
mr
mayor.
I
did
want
to
just
take
an
opportunity
to
let
you
guys
know
that
april
is
child
abuse
prevention
month
and
awareness
and
there's
a
little
group
at
a
social
circle
called
the
child's
voice.
J
Child
advocacy,
center
and
they'll
be
doing
an
event
called
pinwheelpalooza
here
in
in
monroe
at
first
baptist,
it'll,
be
april,
2nd
from
10
to
11
a.m,
and
that's
where
they
take
blue
and
white
pinwheels
and
place
them
in
the
ground
and
show
support
for
victims
of
abuse,
as
well
as
to
raise
awareness
and
so,
if
anyone's
interested,
they
can
support
that
by
five
dollars
for
a
pinwheel
and
you
can
go
on
their
website
or
you
can
find
them
on
facebook
to
do
that.
J
They're
also
doing
a
raffle
for
twenty
dollars
as
well
as
selling
t-shirts,
and
so,
if
or
if
you
want
to
talk
to
me,
have
any
questions,
and
I
believe
chief
watts
is
on
the
board
as
well,
so
just
want
to
make
everybody
aware
of
that.
It's
a
great
service
to
our
community,
and
so
I
appreciate
it.
You
know
somebody
over
there.
I
do
know
someone
over
there.
A
And
we'll
do
I'm
guessing
we'll
do
another
proclamation.
J
Proclamation
for
them,
yes-
and
it
does
happen
in
april-
we're
trying
to
get
out
ahead
of
it,
since
it
is
the
fifth
oh
and
I'd
like
to
mention
actually
that
miss
linda
dodd,
who
is
here,
is
on
loganville
city
council
and
she
went
to
bat
for
one
of
the
displays
for
for
that
same
month
in
loganville,
so
that
they
could
probably
display
that
they
were
aware
and
fighting
such
circumstances.
So,
thank
you
very
much.
Thank
you
all
right.
Okay,.
A
A
A
C
M
That's
no
problem.
Thank
you,
miss
michael.
So
ms
malcolm
approached
me
about,
I
think,
especially
after
our
new
year's
eve
situation
on
the
south
side,
where
we
had
basically
the
rogue
supercell
thunderstorm
that
formed
a
tornado
over
covington
and
came
through
it
during
a
period
where
people
just
were
not
expecting
it.
M
First
of
all,
I
want
to
make
sure
that
we're
aware
that
tornado
sirens
are
just
a
component
of
an
overall
warning
system
that
noaa
weather
radios
and,
of
course,
now
with
everybody
having
phones,
downloading
weather
apps,
but
for
our
folks
that
are
caught
outside
what
are
our
options,
especially
in
a
unpredictable
situation,
and
so
I
reached
out
to
a
local
vendor
who
has
done
several
of
you
know
several
municipalities
in
the
metropolitan
atlanta
region
and
he
he
used
our
map,
our
city
map
boundaries
and
so
forth,
and
I
discussed
different
areas,
especially
our
schools,
sports
fields,
outdoor
areas
such
as
the
pavilion
shopping
center,
town,
green
downtown
area
and
matthews
matthews
park,
and
he
was
able
to
come
up
with
a
preliminary
map
that
showed
where
five
of
these
sirens
strategically
placed
would
cover.
M
M
It
was
ten
thousand
dollars
different
and
that
had
to
do
with
the
actual
siren
models
themselves,
and
this
was
virtually
a
turnkey
quote
on
this
other
than
dropping
a
service
line
from
our
utilities
department.
But
everything
else
that
includes
the
polls,
installation
and
everything
and.
C
It
was
a
cost
of
the
highest
bid,
was
a
hundred
and
eighty
three
thousand
eight
hundred
and
thirty
four
dollars,
and
so
I
had
just
taken
that
back
to
logan
and
asked
him
if
we
could
have
discussion
and
a
question
and
answer
if
you
feel
comfortable
with
having
a
representative
come,
we
could
do
that,
but
to
basically
consider
putting
this
expenditure
in
our
next
year's
budget
as
we
go
through
budget
work
sessions,
and
I
feel
that
we've
talked
about
this
since
I
was
on
council
in
the
80s,
and
that
tells
how
old
I
am-
and
we
have
yet
to
do
anything
about
this
and
to
me
this
is
it's
just
something
that
we
should
seriously
consider
for
our
citizens.
J
Is
it
a?
Is
it
a
high-pitched
kind
of
siren
or
is
it
low?
You
know,
they've
got
like
a
base
when
that
first
time
I
ever
experienced
that
was
in
athens
and
apparently
the
point
of
that
is
that
it
goes
a
further
distance
without
having
to
put
multiple
sirens.
So
I
was
just
wondering:
how
does
the
system
work
or
do
we
know
so.
M
Both
I
I
have
not
heard
the
tones
on
these,
so
that's
an
excellent
question
for
the
service,
the
rep
to
do,
but
both
of
these
the
maps
and
if
y'all,
want
a
copy
of
the
the
maps
that
he
made.
M
They
basically
took
our
our
city
limits
in
a
topo
map
and
mapped
out
with
both
design,
with
both
models.
How
far
the
sound
waves
are
projected
to
to
go,
and
he
even
included
he
said
you
know.
The
placement
from
west
to
east
is
also
impacted
because
most
of
our
storms
move
that
way.
So
wind
direction
in
a
typical
manner
would
be
easterly
winds,
and
so
that's
going
to
carry
your
sound
further
east.
I
mean
they've
got
a
science
behind
how
they
do
that.
But
these
are
the
these
are
just
the
sirens.
M
There
are
two
two
models
that
are
out
there
right
now.
One
is
just
the
sirens
that
spin
and
the
other
one
has
the
voice
or
they're
they're
solid,
with
voice,
amplifiers
and
so
forth,
but
that
that
takes
it
up
a
whole
different,
a
whole
different
notch.
These
are
just
the
ones
that
revolve,
I
think
three
times
every
minute,
so
that
you're
getting
360
degrees
of
of
warning
and
actually
one
of
the
neat
things
that
he
did
tell
me
about-
was
that
each
of
the
the
sirens
contain
a
software
to
where
they're
individually
activated.
M
M
That's
involved
with
this.
It's
come
a
long
way
since
the
1960
civil
defense
air
raid
type
sirens.
How
are
these
activated?
They
are
cellular
cellularly.
I
mean.
M
It
is
it
is,
it
is
activated
through
the
software
from
a
noaa
activation,
so
the
same
software
that
causes
your
phone
to
go
off.
If
you're
under
a
warning
automatically
triggers
it.
It
is
there's
no
one
here
that
has
to
turn
it
on,
which
is
the
major.
That's
that's
another
important
point,
because
you
can't
in
the
event
of
a
severe
storm
there
may
not
be
people
around
to
physically
activate
it,
and
so
that's
they
trigger
based
on
noah's.
However,
noah
broadcast.
M
Right
this
would
be
in
addition
to
again
talking
about
the
outdoor
sirens
they're,
not
the
primary
means
of
notifying
folks
that
are
inside
a
building,
it's
just
to
notify
folks
that
are
outside.
So
you
know.
Ideally
there
would
be
a
everybody
would
download
weather
apps,
they
would
have
noaa
weather
radios
in
their
home.
This
is
just
another
component,
it's
not
competing
with
with
those
or,
if
that's,
what
you're
asking.
E
J
Yes,
sir,
sorry,
could
I
get
it
two
more
things,
sorry
to
interrupt
the
snort,
but
so
speaking
of
sirens,
I
would
like
to
say
chief
that
one
of
your
guys
was
coming
down
the
middle
of
downtown.
While
we
were
out
having
dinner-
and
I
very
much
appreciated
the
fact
that
they
didn't
just
lay
on
the
siren
the
entire
time,
but
they
just
you
know
kind
of
staccato
as
they
went
down
through
there,
and
that
was
nice
because
it
was
like.
J
I
mean
you
definitely
know
that
the
cruiser's
coming
the
lights
are
on
and
so
props
to
your
guys.
For
that
one,
and
the
other
thing
is,
is
sorry
one
more
one
more
event
in
july,
which
you
sent
out
an
email
about,
mr
mayor,
habitat
for
humanity
is
partnering
with
several
different
people
to
have
a
housing
fair
over
at
the
boys
and
girls
club
it'll
be
july
23rd.
So
I
just
want
to
let
everybody
know
that
that's
coming
up
too.
A
Scratch
that
one,
I
only
have
one
thing:
we
have
the
gma
district
5
spring
meeting
here,
debbie,
I'm
sorry!
If
I've
not
told
you
that
that
will
be
april
21st,
I
think
she
was
having
it
catered
by
blue
rooster.
So
I
will
get
something
out
to
each
of
you
in
writing
in
the
next
few
weeks.
A
But
that's
our
general
area,
linda
bleckinger,
has
been
the
president
for
years
and
I
I
came
on
last
year
as
third
vice
president
and
due
to
people
resigning
and
not
getting
it
re-elected,
and
all
that
good
stuff.
I've
moved
up
to
president
and
david
keener
from
social
circle
is
our
is
our
first
vp
I
think
robert
pose
coming
out
of
between
we're
pretty
much
going
to
be
dominated
from
our
little
area.
So
that's
it.
For
me.
I
need
a
motion
to
adjourn
to
executive
session
for
personnel
and
legal
issues.
