Located at the intersection of US Hwy 78, and Georgia 11 between Loganville and Athens Georgia. Monroe is the County Seat of Walton County.

Okay, we will be going into munro monroe, georgia from the east headed west monroe. Georgia was established in 1818 and incorporated into a city or as a city in 1821.

As of 2011, the population was 13 359.

The elevation is 901 feet above sea level.

The square mileage surface area of monroe is 15.88, it is the county seat of walton county.

In town here this is church street, I'm not sure what the georgia highway is that we're coming in.

I'm going to turn left on a side street up here then make a right and turn right onto the main road. Go right through town, try to turn and go around the square of a can.

So you can see the old courthouse.

Then continue on through on or either maybe I'm not sure which way we'll go yet we'll.

This is laid out in a much more organized pattern than most cemeteries.

At the second red light up there we're going to turn right and go down. Let you see the rest of the main part of the street uh main road through monroe, then we're going to turn around and turn right and go down old 78.

Oh, I should have went down that little road, but then you would have missed part of the main road going in or going through.

What we can do is go down that road and then come back, go straight across that intersection.

We'll turn and try to catch that little road on the right.

That is city hall.

Well, they had that roadblock, so we'll just come back up here and turn right on old 78 and go out to highway.

George walton academy, just just passed out on the left, we're coming up to the only depot mcdonald's.

Walmart, all of that stuff we're going to turn left on.

And then we're going to cut across as we're going down, 138 we're going to bypass conyers, we're going to go to lithonia and then drive up, maybe through stone, mountain and then we're going to head back.

Okay, let's go loganville straight ahead, 78 bypass to our right and we're turning left on 138 georgia, 138.

We gotta think about which is the best way to cut through the latino. Maybe I'll ask my google maps, my google assistant.
