A
A
Can
everybody
see
the
swing
all
right?
Even
the
Honorable
mayor
vice
mayor
councilmembers,
many
PMSing
serious
civil
engineers
with
the
Public
Works,
Department,
Lisa
and
I,
are
here
tonight
to
present
the
preliminary
conceptual
design
for
the
show
on
the
river
at
highway.
101,
bicycle
pedestrian
bridge
projects,
the
design,
consultants
garage
homes
and,
as
will
be
available
to
answer
questions
at
the
end
of
the
presentation.
A
A
Important
active
transportation
in
the
area,
the
bicycle
position
over
crossing
develop
us
in
the
joinin
corridor
study
is
the
optional
two-way
cycle
tracks
between
parabola
afternoon
and
pear
avenues.
The
promisee
life
traveling
is
to
prevent
to
provide
adequate
biking
and
walking
development
for
all
users.
A
The
design
team
followed
these
parameters
to
design
a
functional
so
physically
responsible
for
crossing
that
connects
to
an
existing
networks,
improve
internet
or
traffic.
These
capturing
requirements,
while
minimizing
data
rate,
impacts
every
structure.
The
structure
includes
three
different
components,
as
shown
in
the
figure
Terra
Bella
approach
trailer
over
crossing
impaired.
A
Each
component
has
unique
surrounding
erroneous,
which
are
the
key
factors
in
determining
a
port,
appropriate
improvements
and
structure
types.
Tonight,
scholarships
presented
memory
out
layouts
for
each
component.
My
pain
pain,
directions
on
the
City
Council
in
creme
of
three
key
questions
before
the
design
continues.
Please
note
the
render
to
be
shown
a
temple.
They
offer
administration
and
discretion.
Now.
I
will
begin
these
components
by
introducing
Terra
Bella
approach.
A
The
Terra
Bella
approach
begins
at
the
parabola
and
the
shoreline
intersection
the
tool,
Austria
circle
tracks
and
walkways,
leading
to
the
fish
to
the
right
of
your
screen.
If
the
rental
website
or
shorelines
and
other
user
of
the
proposed
search
can
enter
and
exit
at
this
intersection,
icy,
cliffs
and
pedestrians
at
the
option
to
use
the
existing
on-street
bike
lane
and
sidewalk
around
shorelines
and
apart
as
these
facility
will
remain,
the
terrace
area
is
generally
in
resonator
for
industrial
use.
A
This
bring
us
to
the
first
question
tonight
whether
the
three
council
support
their
recommended
comfort
as
presented.
They
said
that
all
three
questions
will
be
listed
at
the
end
at
the
end
of
the
presentation
so
sure
that,
over
the
main
search,
constant
structure,
it
is
parallel
and
to
the
recipe
to
the
recipe
for
seeing
Toronto
about
overpass.
Due
to
this
location,
the
view
of
the
bridge
for
101.
A
A
A
A
A
Your
future,
east-west
collection,
sound
latamuda
to
the
bottom
of
your
screen
and
possibly
from
the
Gateway
site
as
a
writer
that
is
recommended
to
accommodate
the
possible
east-west
travel,
Norman's
Sterlite
feature
I
also
recommended
as
optional
enhancement
to
korean
air
lighting.
But
the
profession
sees
another
elevator
path.
A
A
A
A
D
Saw
every
better
North,
Bay
short
Mountain,
View
I
was
really
hoping
for
a
lot
more
from
this
plan.
I
feel
like
allowing
for
crossover
from
lava
knew
that
that
crosses
the
entirety
of
shoreline.
Along
with
the
transit
improvements,
there
is
putting
us
as
an
afterthought.
I.
Don't
think
that
there's
a
well
formulated
plan
for
how
to
get
bikers
from
the
Cedar
Creek
Trail
down
la
Bonita
over
to
the
Gateway
or
up
from
shoreline
from
the
new
Terra
Bella
development,
up
to
Stephen
ski
trail
or
into
our
Park
I'm.
Just
a
little
disappointed
with
this
plan.
D
C
That's
the
so
I
actually
just
wanted
to
comment.
So,
yes,
registrar
when
you
viewed
the
meeting
that
way
that
doesn't
have
sound.
It
also
is
not
showing
up
on
YouTube,
but
that's
nothing
to
do
with
the
agenda.
I.
Don't
I
just
wanted
to
point
that
out,
because
everything
I'm
doing
I
guess
obviously,
but
thank
you
so
much
I.
A
A
E
On
the
corners
there,
along
with
pedestrians
that
one
across
and
it
seems
like
a
recipe
for
disaster
and
something
that
could
be
easily
avoided
just
by
elevating
the
bike
path.
Past
arabela,
as
I,
showed
in
my
presentation
and
putting
a
bridge
across
connect
to
the
other
side
of
to
protect
the
both
sides
of
shoreline,
so
that
cyclists
going
north
on
shoreline
can
seamlessly
connect
through
the
bike
path
by
crossing
over
Caravelle
on
an
elevated
section.
E
Yeah,
it's
gonna,
add
cost
I'm
sure
the
elevated
section
that
Avenue
just
had
a
cost
too,
but
this
whole
thing
is
costing
tens
of
millions
of
dollars.
You
know
we
might
as
well
make
this
the
best
bridge
that
we
can
and
for
that's
very
attractive
for
people
to
use
and
really
encourages
people
to
use
it.
The
way
it
is
now
if
I
was
riding
on
shoreline,
I
got
the
green
light
for
sure
I
just
keep
going
over
the
overpass
waiting
to
get
onto
the
bike
path.
E
A
B
There
I'll
just
report
quickly,
I
believe
that
the
audio
issue
has
been
resolved
and
I
wanted
to
just
inquire.
We
did
have
a
if
mr.
vaskas
is
interested
in
speaking
if
he
would
raise
his
hand
or
press
star
nine
if
it's
using
his
phone,
otherwise
I
don't
have
any
other
I,
don't
have
any
others
signed
up
and
I'm
just
going
to
check
for
emails.
I
do
not
have
any
emails
or
voicemail
messages.
Thank
you.
A
A
D
A
A
A
I'm
Kevin
McAllister
sophie-anne
on
Street
lightly
to
be
maintained
and
then
a
lot
of
the
experienced
bicyclist
who
prefer
to
and
have
experience
to
be
able
to
take
the
shortest
route.
As
you
recall,
the
chromatic,
the
suppose
bridge
actually
point
A
to
point
B
from
the
beginning,
at
Arabella
to
elevate
repair
Avenue.
A
lot
of
experience
on
commuter
research
to
get
to
the
reservation
faster
I
think
the
options
are
searching
for
them
to
use
the
on
street
cycling
and
in
the
development
as
a
showing
corridor
study
and
public
input
period.
A
About
eight
minutes
to
cross
the
bridge,
they're
going
ten
miles
per
hour,
will
be
four
minutes
and
so
I
would
assume
arm.
If
you
remain
on
shoreline.
Blue
lavarro
probably
take
your
lessons
worth
say
two
to
three
minutes
off
by
a
stoplight
at
one
of
the
ramps,
which
we
know
that
by
any
stoplights
and.
A
We'll
be
discussing
that
once
we
pick
up,
artists
then
gave
the
cultural
artists
process
to
engage
them
in
the
preliminary
concept
alternative,
showing
this
one
of
the
slides
in
the
presentation.
There
are
various
options
and
we
have
the
earth
can
be
incorporating
over
the
straw
over
coffee.
You
can
be
incorporating
they're
wearing
the
mesh
in
the
fence
or
on
the
surface,
and
the
thinkin
applies
we're
on
the
parapet,
approach
and
the
pair
approach,
and
this
will
be
closely
being
ill
because
he's
working
with
the
artists
who.
A
A
Using
Stevens,
Creek
Trail
and
then
maybe
using
permanent
that
Creek
and
only
22
in
shoreline,
Boulevard
and
I'm,
going
to
me
that,
because
shoreline
will
are
not
filled
out
with
all
the
bicycle
and
pedestrian
facilities,
so
this
bridge
comes
in
off
of
the
shoreline
corridor
study
to
connect
people
from
the
Transit
Center
North,
Bay,
Shore
and
the
city
is
currently
working
on
projects
between
the
Transit,
Center
and
I'm
sure.
This
is
just
one
segment.
A
Bike
and
Tessa,
so
if
he's
along
Fairlane
Road,
that
will
be
from
Central
Expressway
to
democracy,
no
and
all
the
way
up
to
middlefield
Road
and
then
the
facilities
along
that
will
feel
real
to
this
bridge
is
being
covered
by
the
shoreline,
reversible
transit
main
project.
So
that's
how
this
project
is
working
to
serve
commuters
from
the
Transit
Center.
A
All
the
Caltrain
trains
coming
in
and
so
on,
and
it
starts
with
the
underpass
at
the
train
tracks
where
that
we're
building
a
tristan,
a
great
separation
project
to
reduce
eyestrain
put
on
sterling,
which
collects
connects
to
protected
bikeways
on
shore
line
that
connects
to
this
courage
to
get
you
to
north
bay
shore
and
then
connect
to
that
protected.
Bikeways
that
stretch
throughout
North
Bay
Shore
the
collapse,
the
connector
employment
site,
the
distance
we're
talking
about.
A
A
Pedestrians
pedestrians
to
use
this
in
terms
of
the
like
shade,
I'm
kind
of
concerned,
that
this
is
a
pretty
long
expanse
of
concrete
and
metal,
and
it
could
be
pretty
warm
people
using
this
and
I
was
wondering.
Did
we
look
at
all
that
I
know
that
would
add
to
the
cost
of
any
sort
of
median
wood
trees
on
it?.
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
Disability
and
the
other
is
the
lifecycle
cost
in
general,
the
construction
cost
and
maintenance
cost
in
the
future.
The
concrete
box
girder
bridge
is
cheaper
or
less
than
a
sender
hostage,
for
example,
and
we
also
do
fields
which
typically
requires
specialized
personnel
to
install
through
contract,
to
maintain
inspect
and
even
to
do
routine
maintenance
and
disability.
A
Thank
you
any
other
comments.
I
am
too,
if
not
very
question
three
to
four
support:
the
recommended
design
considerations
such
as
the
site
right
option
and
a
writer
deck
areas
to
facilitate
travels
on
the
proposed
and
future
bridges
within
the
pure
absolute
approach.
If
you
support
staff
recommendation
a
nice
finish
over
him
until
day,
four
drives
and.
A
A
A
A
B
A
A
The
weeks
and
months
go
on,
and
so
tonight
I'd
like
to
share
a
few
important
updates
this
evening
and
also
highlight
some
positive
developments.
So
the
first
thing,
as
per
usual,
that
I
do
every
week
I'd
like
to
share
an
update
on
the
donations
to
our
together
and
the
donation
portal.
So,
as
of
today,
the
fund
has
received
554
individual
donations.
A
A
196
households
have
been
assisted
so
far
with
an
average
check
of
around
$2,100
and
I
also
included
the
breakdown
of
the
area
median
income.
So
you
can
see
that
the
program
continues
to
primarily
fund
with
over
half
of
the
funding
and
going
towards
people
who
are
in
the
0
to
30
percent
of
the
ami
rage
and
then
between
30
and
50
percents,
around
16
percent
of
people
and
then
those
who
are
under
18
51
to
80
percent.
A
I
want
to
thank
staff
for
all
of
their
work
and
efforts
on
this,
in
particular
business
development,
specialist,
Tiffany,
Chu
and
personal
analyst,
Melvin
Gaines,
who
worked
very
hard
on
this
project
over
the
past
months.
At
the
same
time,
I
do
want
to
also
recognize
if
you
Miller,
with
the
rough,
also
Community
Foundation.
A
$400,000
dan,
who
contributed
a
hundred
thousand
and
then
the
generous
donations
from
our
community
members
through
the
together
and
be
fine
which
I
just
described,
is
around
$50,000.
So,
as
I
mentioned,
the
program
is
expected
to
launch
tomorrow
through
the
main
street
launch
website
and
they
are
taking
a
phased
approach
to
this
launch.
A
But
at
this
point
we
are
planning
on
closing
it
on
May
11
and
we
won't
have
an
opportunity
to
create
a
waitlist
and
inquiry
forums
in
case
more
funding
becomes
available.
So
in
terms
of
the
details
of
the
program,
the
available
micro
loans
will
be
up
to
$10,000
at
a
zero
percent
interest
rate.
With
a
three
year
payback
period,
interested
parties
can
submit
an
email
to
SM
viz.
A
Help
Mountain
Dews
gov
so
again
that
SF
is
open,
19
help
at
Mountain,
Dew
gov,
and
this
information
will
also
be
pushed
out
on
all
of
our
communications
channels.
Tomorrow,
including
a
press
release
on
the
C's
website
on
our
social
media
channels
through
the
Chamber
of
Commerce.
The
call
centers
that
we're
setting
up
that
I
will
describe
in
a
little
bit
and
also
through
the
association
again.
A
A
A
And
so
called
in
favors
to
help
folks
that
may
need
them.
Our
city
library,
donated
the
city's
3d
printers
to
help
students
do
facials
and
ear
savers
for
frontline
workers,
and
so
far
the
students
have
printed
frames
over
120
face
shields
and
have
orders
for
about
a
hundred.
More
and
students
have
donated
these
officials
to
Mountain
Dew
few
health
care,
which
is
a
local
skilled,
nursing
facility
and
they've
also
donated
to
school
district
workers
who
are
handed
out
meals
over
500
students
today.
A
So
we're
very
pleased
that
the
students
were
able
to
use
the
library's
3d
printers
help
with
these
efforts
and
then
just
the
same
as
in
prior
week.
I
want
to
encourage
everyone
to
take
the
census.
It
is
open
until
October
31st,
and
we
want
to
make
sure
that
everyone
in
our
community
is
counted
so
I
encourage
everyone
to
go
online
and
a.
A
A
A
F
A
A
F
C
A
A
The
first
thing
is
in
terms
of
screen:
applicants,
GSA
is
administering
the
rhetoric
program
for
renters
and
then
Mainstreet
launch
is
administering
the
landlord
program,
and
it's
because
of
the
parameters
that
staff
have
outlined.
I
would
say
it
would
be
very
we're
a
landlord
to
be
getting
assistance
through
the
rent
relief
program.
That
GSA
is
administering
and
then
also
apply
for
funds
through
the
program
through
mainstream
launch.
A
A
A
Asking
whether
people
who
are
getting
the
rent
check
CSA
are
the
same
people
that
are
applying
for
the
landlord
program.
I
think
that
is
going
to
take
work
in
terms
of
getting
that
information
from
CSA,
but
the
council
direction
last
time
was
that
this
program
would
be
for
to
all
Weston
nine
units
over
no
more
than
nine
units,
and
it
could
be
used
for
items
such
as
improvement
items
or
insurance.
A
A
A
Losing
responses
to
as
many
people
season
thank
you
to
the
azure
and
all
our
stuff
for
all
the
hard
work.
Thank
you.
Another
action
item
Duke
my
shoes.
This
is
a
presentation
by
the
Environmental
Protection
Agency
region,
9,
citizen
project
manager,
Eric
and
tomorrow
we
will
place
that
right
on
the
cleanup
of
the
Jackson
Chemical
Corporation
sister
spend
site
and
the
upcoming
sourcing
process
can
see.
A
Okay,
can
everyone
see
the
presentation,
wonderful,
okay,
so
good
evening?
My
name
is
Eric
Cantona
and
I
am
the
Superfund
project
manager
with
the
United
States
Environmental,
Protection
Agency,
or
the
jasker
Superfund
site
known
as
view
the
JAF
go.
Superfund
site
is
a
hapless
waste
site
that
was
added
to
the
National.
Priorities
was
super
fun
list,
which
is
a
list
of
the
most
contaminated
hazardous
waste
sites
throughout
the
United
States
that
have
been
approved
for
federal
cleanup
by
the
US
EPA
tonight.
A
A
A
And
that
was
to
confirm
that
the
decreasing
trends
that
we
saw
in
contaminants,
we
confirmed
that
those
trends
were
featuring
and
the
levels
didn't
increase
after
time.
At
this
point
in
time,
all
response
activities
are
complete
and
the
criteria
for
deleting
the
site
from
the
National
Priorities
List
than
that.
In
addition,.
A
A
Which
then
brings
me
to
the
next
slide
on
redevelopment,
and
the
pictures
might
look
familiar
to
you,
because
I
know
that
you've
been
briefed
on
this
development,
faster
cycle,
Ducati
Prometheus
previous
groups,
and
so
they
are
the
private
real
estate
development
companies
that
is
leading
the
redevelopment
at
the
site.
So
there's
a
two
hundred
and
twenty
six

B
E
Thank
you.
I
just
had
a
quick
comment
during
the
shutting
down
I've
been
walking
in
biking
around
the
North
Bay
Shore
area,
and
it's
all
completely
shut
down.
It's
you
know
nobody
there,
but
I
noticed
recently.
Interesting
phenomena
is
a
lot
of
cars
parked
on
amphitheatre
Parkway.
First
I
thought.
Maybe
there
were
construction
workers,
but
there's
really
no
construction
going
on.
There
are
Charleston
'yes,
it's
finally
I
realized.
Those
are.
E
Cars
are
owned
by
people
they're
using
the
space
parking
lot,
and
this
yeah
makes
sense
they're
living
in
their
RVs,
but
they
still
have
to
use
cars
to
get
around
and
so
I'm
just
wondering
if
that's
ever
been
considered,
there's
certainly
a
lot
of
space
there.
You
could,
you
know
open
up
a
little
car
parking
lot
for
the
people,
the
people's
cars,
because
you
know
they
have
a
bit
of
a
hike
to
go
from
there
to
the
parking
space
on
a
theater,
Parkway
and
FCR.
E
A
Let's
the
web
ecology
there
we
go.
Okay,
awesome!
Thank
you.
Did
you
be
mayor
and
members
of
the
City
Council,
my
name
is
Brittany
rightful
and
I
enjoy
tonight's
live
planning
manager
and
Zoning
Administrator
Stephanie
Williams.
The
item
in
front
of
you
consists
of
zoning
ordinance.
Amendments
pertaining
to
accessory
dwelling
units
also
referred
to
as
80
news,
German
bakers
and
planned
community
limits
since
fall
of
2019.
The
governor
signed
into
law,
several
bills
amending
multiple
Government,
Code
sections
related
to
a
tea
use
and
jr.
A
ad
use,
as
well
as
SB,
234
related
to
family
day
care
homes.
This
legislation
became
effective
on
January
1st
2020
upon
reviewing
new
state
legislation
pertaining
to
ad
use.
Staff
has
identified
necessary
zoning
ordinance
amendments,
including
allowable
zoning
districts
and
80
youth
development
standards
and
regulations.
A
Additionally,
state
law
requires
jurisdictions
to
permit
a
be
use
and
multi-family
districts.
Finally,
under
state
law
owners
of
unpermitted
ad
use
sort
before
January
1st
2020
may
request
a
five-year
delay
of
enforcement
of
certain
building
of
zoning
violations.
Staff
will
be
proposing
an
amnesty
program
alongside
the
zoning
code
updates
in
order
to
comply
with
this
state
legislation
and
incentivize.
A
There
are
the
zoning
ordinance
currently
limits
a
to
use
to
a
maximum
of
700
square
feet,
state
law
mandates
that
jurisdictions
allow
studio
and
one-bedroom
ad
use
of
up
to
850
square
feet
and
eighty
years
with
two
or
more
bedrooms
of
up
to
1000
square
feet,
cities
must
allow
both
attached
and
detached
eighty
years
to
be
constructed
for
feet
from
the
side,
property
line
and
four
feet
from
the
rear
property
line.
The
zoning
ordinance
currently
announced
legal,
conforming
garages
and
car
parks
to
be
converted
to
ad
is
now
under
state
law.
A
Currently,
the
r-1
district
requires
two
parking
spaces
for
the
main
house,
one
of
which
must
be
covered.
An
ad
news
requires
one
additional
pressing
space
which
does
not
need
to
be
covered.
Currently,
the
zoning
ordinance
allows
certain
exceptions
for
the
ad.
You
prefer
requirements
under
state
law.
If
a
garage
or
carport
is
converted
to
an
ad,
you
know,
replacement
parking
needs
to
be
provided.
Staff
proposes
to
update
the
very
coordinates
accordingly
under
state
law,
for
these
must
allow
80
years
of
all
multi-family.
A
A
Previously,
cities
had
the
option
to
allow
junior
ad
use.
However,
now
the
state
requires
JD
jod
is
to
be
allowed
in
single-family
homes.
The
junior
accessory
dwelling
unit
is
defined
as
a
unit
that
is
no
more
than
500
square
feet
in
size
includes
an
efficiency.
Kitchen
is
contained
entirely
within
the
walls
of
the
single-family
home
and
will
include
separate
sanitation
facilities
for
may
share
sanitation
facilities
with
the
Silva
family
dwellings.
Jad
use
do
not
require
additional
parking
in
the
fall
of
2019
FC
234
related
to
family
day
care
homes
were
signed
into
law.
A
The
objective
of
the
legislation
is
to
streamline
the
administration
of
child
care
licensing
facilities
to
increase
the
supply
of
licensed
child
care
homes.
This
legislation
became
effective
on
January
1st
of
2020,
currently
large
family
day
care
homes
which
allow
seven
to
fourteen
children
require
a
non-discretionary
and
conditional
use
permit
in
all
residential
zoning
districts
large
family
day
care
homes
must
provide
one
additional
presence
base
per
employee
and
are
subject.
D
The
short-term
rental
prohibition,
the
primary
difference,
is
state
law
for
terminals
and
all
attached
therapy,
all
junior
a
to
you
and
all
three
of
them
after
January
1,
it
sounds
like
your
staff
is
proposing
to
that
it's
basically
already
attached
or
attached.
So
the
big
difference,
I
noted
there
was.
A
D

D
A
A
Answer
the
second
part
of
it,
which
is
many
of
these
ad
use
that
are
illegal,
sometimes
have
structural
and
life
safety
issues,
and
we
feel,
like
five
years,
there's
a
good
enough
timeline,
but
we
don't
want
to
be
in
a
position
where
the
city
knows
and
there's
sort
of
an
inductor
minute
amount
of
time
where
somebody's
living
in
that
unit
and
five
years
we
feel
is,
is
a
good
period
of
time
to
allow
the
person
to
bring
it
under.
You
know,
sort
of.
A
A
B
F
A
District
I
think
that
aligns
more
closely
with
the
requirement
in
state
law
and
then
the
others
were
probably
a
little
bit
more
challenging
to
answer.
Councilor
and
McCallister's
question
about
San
Jose
modifications
were
made
last
year
in
response
to
state
line,
and
he
adopted
a
six
foot.
Interior
setback
so
complying
with
state
law
on
the
4
feet
into
between
structures
and
the
interior
of
the
poverty
and
other
members
of
the
council
support
something
less
than
ten
feet.
I
would
support
that
as
well
with
the
direction
that
the
state.
A
It's
similar
where,
where
there
are
existing
single-family
home
in
those
districts,
because
particularly
those
that
may
have
uncommitted
jad
years
at
the
very
least
in
the
zoning
code
same
in
these
districts,
where
single
family
homes
exist
and
no
other
types
of
residential
structures,
junior
ad
use
are
permitted,
and
if
you,
you
know,
do
something
other
than
a
single-family
home
and
would
not
be
able
to
have
a
junior.
All
of
this
would
be
just.
A
A
F
Yes,
thank
you.
Some
of
the
motion
would
properly
be
the
introduction
of
the
ordinance
language
which
is
in
the
caption,
and
the
recommendation
is
also
the
title
of
ordinance
and
then
with
the
addition
to
modify
the
commercial
land
use
table
to
include
small
and
large
family
day
care
homes
as
permitted
in
the
CR
a
district.
So
the
maker
of
the
motion
of
the
title
of
the
ordinance.
A
If
you
could
repeat
your
motion
appreciate
it,
so
I
moved
to
the
right
language
here:
I
introduced
an
ordinance
amending
section
of
chapter
36,
zoning
ordinance
of
the
city
code,
update
accessory
dwelling
units
and
home-based
childcare
regulations
who
are
aligned
with
new
state
regulations
and
modifications
planned
community.
Permit
regulations
read
and
settle
only
further
reading
waived
and
set
a
second
reading
community
of
2020
and
also
the
the
modification
for
chaining
to
small
and
large
family.

Our
employees
and
non-sworn
or
miscellaneous,
please
minder,
for
the
council.
The
public
Swan
employees
are
those
that
provide
emergency
response
services
in
our
fire
department
and
police
department
and
those
are
made
up
of
the
groups
of
our
Police
Officers
Association,
our
International
Association
of
firefighters
and
fire
managers,
including
the
fire
chiefs
and
the
others,
including.
A
A
A
B
Do
have
one
email
that
was
received
after
5:00
p.m.
that
I'll
go
ahead
and
read
into
the
record.
This
is
from
Serge
font,
honorable
mayor
and
city
council
in
normal
times,
and
even
more
so
in
light
of
the
pandemic
city,
employees
should
be
recognized
and
rewarded
for
their
great
service.
They
provide
to
our
community,
alas,
we're
not
in
normal
times
and
many
cities
around
us,
Menlo
Park,
Palo
Alto
are
already
debating
which
services
to
cut
while
it's
heartening
to
read
that
quote.
B
Although
there
are
impacts
to
the
city's
financial
status,
the
city
is
fortunate
to
have
a
diverse
revenue
base
and
currently
projects
to
be
able
to
weather
the
current
economic
disruption.
End
quote:
there
is
no
indication
of
how
nor,
at
what
cost,
since
fiscal
update
is
plan
for
next
week,
May
5th,
it
would
seem
more
prudent
to
table
this
agenda
item
to
May
12th
in
order
to
better
assess
if
the
city
can
afford.
A
Usual
cases
we
would
probably
be
coming
to
a
longer
term,
but
because
of
the
situation,
we
just
reached
agreement
to
keep
it
to
one
year
and
I
know
we
always
have
critics
frankly
when
we
do
this,
but
I
would
say
in
our
staff
has
been
working
extremely
hard,
especially
now
just
like
just
because
their
city
employees
doesn't
mean
that
they
face.
They
don't
face
the
same
challenges,
those
everyone
else's
in
terms
of
economic
uncertainty.
So
we
have
all
worked
hard,
I.
